Do Mess with Secular Public Education - 1

Do Mess with Secular Public Education
Thursday, Jan. 31, 2008
Expelling God From The University: That is the title of an article by David French appearing the Catalyst, V.34, and Number 4, May, 2007. This is the monthly journal of the Catholic League for Religious and Civil Rights. The author writes:

The stories go on and on – one of the great underreported scandals of higher education. It is as if the academic establishment has collectively decided a certain group of people is so reprehensible and abhorrent that they must change or be cast aside, relegated to the dustbin of history along with the racists of the Old South.

And who are Emily, Christine, Scott, and others? They are certainly not violent or radicals of any stripe. In fact, their political views about the Iraq war, on economic programs, even social issues. They do, however, share a single, defining characteristic: they are theologically conservative Christians, who believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God. …

Christine Miller made the mistake of expressing Biblically orthodox views of sexual morality – that sex should be reserved for a man and woman within marriage. She was reprimanded by a university housing department who saw that view as incompatible with its own expressed “solitary” with the university’s “GLBT community.” (Same-sex)

Scott Savage’s case is even more bizarre. He volunteered to serve on a book selection committee for the “First Year Reading Experience” – suggesting book options for freshman students. After the other members of the committee suggested a series of books from a leftist perspective, Scott suggested the students read a series of conservative books, including one, The Marketing of Evil, by David Kupelian, that refers to homosexual sexual behavior as “sinful” or “evil”. Acting on complaints from homosexual faculty that the book recommendation made them feel “unsafe” on campus, the faculty assembly voted without dissent to accuse Scott of “sexual harassment.” Later, several professors – acting with the full knowledge and express approval of the faculty – filed formal charges against Scott. …
In the last six years, approximately 50 colleges and universities have either expelled or attempted to expel Christian student groups from campus…. Stories like this are not uncommon…. If the students are fortunate, their experience is limited to mere mockery…. Clearly, when it comes to religion, the campus culture wars are building to a climax…. To the campus establishment, there is no functional or moral difference between an evangelical Christian proponent of traditional Judeo-Christian sexual morality and George Wallace standing in the schoolhouse door. …
What is also crucial to note is that none of the Christians in any of the cases above have taken any action whatsoever to censor, silence, or deprive any homosexual student of their rights recognized by law….

As a retired public school teacher, the above is the state of mind on the campuses, blacked out by a politically correct media & the culture’s iron curtain.

The Christian Experience by Pope Benedict XVI

The Christian Experience by Pope Benedict XVI
Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2008

Christian experience begins in the everyday world of communal experience. Today, the interior space in which Church is experienced is, for many, a foreign world.

Nevertheless, this world continues to be a possibility, and it will be the task of religious education to open doors on the experiential space Church and to encourage people to take an interest in this kind of experience.

When people share the same faith, when they pray, celebrate, rejoice, suffer, and live together, Church becomes “community,” and thus a real living space that enables humanity to experience faith as life-bringing force in daily life and in the crisis of existence.

One who truly believes, who opens himself to the maturing effects of faith, begins to be a light for others; he becomes a bulwark where others can find help. The saints, as the living models of a faith that has been tried and found steadfast, of transcendence that has been experienced and confirmed, are, so to speak, the living spaces in to which one can turn, in which faith as experience is simultaneously stored up, anthropologically conditioned, and approximated to our life.

Specifically Christian experience, in the intrinsic meaning of the word, can ultimately grow by its gradually maturing and deepening participation in such experiences – this is what the language of the Psalms and of the New Testament calls “tasting the heavenly gifts” (Ps 34:8, 1 Pet 2:3; Heb 6:4).

By it one touches reality itself and is no longer merely a “secondhand” believer. Admittedly, we must say with Saint Bernard of Clairvaux and the great mystical teachers of all times that this can be only “a short moment, a rare experience”.

In this life it remains a preliminary anticipation that must never become an end itself. For if it did, faith would become self-gratification rather than self-transcendence and would thus betray its own nature. Such moments stand under the sign of the Tabor-experience.
They are not places to linger, but are encouragement, strengthening, for going anew into the everyday world to preach the word of Jesus Christ and to understand that the brightness of the divine nearness is present wherever someone Is bringing the word of God. (1980)

The above is from the January 25th entry of Joseph Cardinal Ratzinger’s Co-Workers of the Truth – Meditations for Every Day of the Year - Ignatius Press, San Francisco 1992

The above book is a classic on the mind and heart of this up coming pontiff. Couple this with his daily pronouncement as Pope we can surmise that for the Catholic laity and the bishops that our role model in the public arena ought to be the life of Pope John Paul the Great.
This brings us to Maxim # 6 of this blog. The pro-life movement’s role model is Pope John Paul the Great.

Catholic Laymen in the Public Square - Part 2 of 2

Catholic Laymen in the Public Square – Part 2 of 2

A Catholic Response to the “Call for Civility”
Monday, Jan. 28, 2008

Canticle of Zechariah
Proclaim the message, insist on it in season and
Out of season, refute falsehood, correct error, and call to
Obedience, but do all with patience and sound doctrine.

9. One of the greatest leaders in modern history led the fight in Great Britain to end the slave trade. William Wilberforce also campaigned for prison reform, the end of child labor and may other worthy social reforms. But Wilberforce knew that all these questions would never be answered until the great poison of the slave trade was ended. The slave trade coarsened the British people, the British ruling class, and British public life. In precisely the same way, abortion and other issues have coarsened our public life, and have poisoned American political discourse and our politics. Progress will not be made on other important but prudential issues about which well-intentioned people may disagree civilly unless and until the Culture of Death is as much a part of history as the salve trade.

10. In short, we will feel free even strongly to condemn the public policy positions of Catholic politicians who support abortion, embryo-destructive research, and homosexual marriage. They stand against the teachings of the Church and in favor of morally repugnant practices that are counter to the common good and that should be unwelcome in a just or even polite society. And we support bishops who move strongly to eliminate their grave public scandal. We say this not as Democrats or Republicans but as faithful Catholics.

The above is something Bishop Fulton Sheen would espouse: Common Sense, Tradition, Natural Law and Justice. Justice is truth in action. The following are several of the 96 Signatures to the above Statement.

Catholic Laymen in the Public Square # 1 of 2

Catholic Laymen in the Public Square – Part 1 of 2
A Catholic Response to the “Call for Civility”
Sunday, Jan. 27, 2008

The following is a document signed by 96 influential and faithful Catholics that explicitly criticize a statement released last November, 2007 that call for greater “civility” among Catholics in political discourse. The signers believe that the November statement would have the effect of silencing the pro-life movement and silencing criticism of pro-abortion Catholic politicians.

l. All men and women of good will value civility, but civility is not the highest --- or the only --- civic virtue. Rather, justice is. As Pope Benedict XVI reminds us in Deus Caritas Est, “Justice is both the aim and the intrinsic criterion of all politics.
2. If Catholic politicians advocated segregation or --- even worse ---slavery, would there be a call for civility towards them?

3. If Catholic politicians said they did not believe in just war principles but rather in aggressive wars of conquest, would there be a call to be civil toward them?

4. If Catholic politicians said the poor are poor because of their bad behavior and we are not obliged to help them in any way, wouldn’t we say they are heartless and even un-Christian?

5. We know the answer to these questions. There would be a justified public and not a very civil call for their removal from public life. Moreover, there would be a public and justified call for the Catholic hierarchy to do something about them. And leading the public cry would be many who have signed the “Call for Civility.”

6. Same ask for civility now for one reason, abortion. John Paul the Great called abortion the greatest civil rights issue of our time and the US Conference of Catholic Bishops recently called it the number one political issue of our time. Embryo-destructive research and homosexual marriage follow right behind, though numerous Catholic politicians also oppose the fundamental teachings of the Church on these issues.

7. The lack of public civility comes not from pro-lifers but from those Catholic politicians who support the right to kill innocent life in the womb and those who support defining man-woman marriage out of existence. But, some want to treat these politicians differently because they agree with them on important but purely prudential questions like health care, and the minimum wage.

8. These are old and tired arguments that have been criticized by successive Popes and by the Conference of Catholic Bishops by putting unequal problems on the same moral plane. Though not all of its signers intend it, we believe the effect of the “Call for Civility” would be to silence the pro-life and pro-family movements. We oppose this effort root and branch. NEW MASSACHUSETTS CREATES 35-FOOT BUFFER ZONE:

New Massachusetts Law Creates 35-Foot Buffer Zone-
Around Abortion Mills, Boston, Jan. 22, 2008 (LifeSiteNews.com)
Saturday, Jan. 26, 2008
“The Utter Shame and Scandal of Massachusetts Duped Catholic Citizenry

Dear Reader, This is one subject that riles me. Maybe it’s the weather and there is something in the air or it’s the Holy Spirit. Veritas: We have had dark clouds, rain (liquid sunshine) and sunny weather. The headline is unbelievable.

This is also personal; with more than twelve years at the abortion mills twice weekly in Orange and Los Angeles County. Do pray rosary, pass out helpful literature and do tell the fathers in particular, “Congratulations on being a father. A father always takes care of his baby and does not harm the baby. He is responsible for the baby…” Also, my first wife Peggy who is now deceased is from Massachusetts and the honor of her family is at stake. Massachusetts is the center of This CINOP Corruption. Let’s read the article.

“Attorneys with the Alliance Defense Fund filed a lawsuit in federal court Friday against a new Massachusetts law that creates a 35-foot “buffer” zone around abortion clinics. The law essentially eliminates free speech rights within the zone by restricting pro-life advocates from sharing their message with people entering the clinics.

“Pro-life advocates shouldn’t be penalized for expressing their beliefs,” said ADF-allied attorney and lead counsel Michael DePrimo. ”The buffer law is breathtaking in its scope. It obviously was designed and intended to squelch pro-life speech, but it prohibits much more, such as labor picketing and charitable solicitations. The First Amendment simply does not permit such outlandish restrictions on peaceful speech.

“It’s ironic that Massachusetts, the ‘cradle of liberty,’ would pass a law that effectively creates a First Amendment-free zone that silences those who seeks to share the truth about abortion,” said ADF Legal Counsel Tim Chandler. “Those with pro-life views have the same First Amendment rights as anyone else in America.”

“On Nov. 13, Massachusetts Governor Deval Patrick signed into law S.B 1353, which creates the “buffer zone.” First-time violators face a fine of up to $500. and three months in jail. Repeat offenders face fines of up to $5,000 and 2 and one-half years in prison.”

Any reasonable person, secularist, atheist, and pro-choice Catholic must realize that the above law is unconstitutional and ridiculous. How in the world is this possible? That State in loaded with the mindset of a CINOP and to dare stick this law into the eyes and mouth of the pro-life movement is utter stupidity and desperation.
It supports everything I have written about the CINOP www.cinopsbegone.blogspot.com

Austin, president of the Catholic Family and Human Rights Institute (C-FAM), and one of the 96 influential Catholics in a Statement said, “Rather than giving pro-abortion politicians a pass, we should vote them out of office and encourage them to repent.” This is a reasonable Catholic laity duty. (The Statement will be on the blog tomorrow morning.)

We are dealing with a U.S. Catholic Religious Con-Operation. For example, Senators Edward Kennedy and John Kerry voted against the Catholic position on these: 1) Funding of embryo-killing stem cell research 2) Child Custody Protection Act 3) Federal Marriage Amendment Act 4) Harkin Amendment to endorse Roe v. Wade 5) Unborn Victims of Violence Act. Also, all of the State’s Congressmen vote similarly. We have discovered Maxim 5 – “THERE IS NO CATHOLIC REASON TO VOTE FOR ANY CINOP IN 2008.”

Remarks by President Bush to March for Life - 08

Remarks by President Bush to March for Life
Friday, Jan. 25, 2008

It was a great morning for 50 Christendom College students. They along with Nellie Gray and other organizers of the 35th Annual March for Life attended a breakfast hosted by President George W. Bush at the White House on Tuesday, Jan. 22. In the march there were about 225,000 participants and a huge majority was under 25 years of age. Here is the classic and memorable talk given to the participants by the President.

Nellie, good to be with you – we’re fellow West Texans who care deeply about the value of human life. Other members of the board of directors for the March for Life, leaders of the pro-life community, and all those who are here with us for the march, it’s good to have you here and welcome to the White House. (Applause.)

As I look out at you. I’ll see some folks who have been traveling all night to get there – (laughter) – you’re slightly bleary-eyed. (Laughter.) I’ll see others getting ready for a day out in the cold. But mostly I see faces that shine with a love for life. (Applause.)

I see people with a deep conviction that even the most vulnerable member of the human family is a child of God. You’re here because you know that of all life deserves to be protected. And as you begin your march, I’m proud to be standing with you. (Applause.)

Thirty-five years ago today the U.S. Supreme Court declared and decided that under the law an unborn child is not considered a person. But we know many things about the unborn. Biology confirms that from the start each unborn child is a separate individual with his or own genetic code. Babies can now survive outside the mother’s womb at younger and younger ages. And the fingers and toes and beating hearts that we can see on an unborn child’s ultrasound come with something that we cannot see a soul.

Today we’re heartened – we’re heartened by the news that the number of abortions is declining. But the most recent data reports that one in five pregnancies end in an abortion. America is better than this, so we will continue to work for a culture of life where a woman with an unplanned pregnancy knows there are caring people who will support her; where a pregnant teen can carry her child and complete her education; where the dignity of both the mother and child is honored and cherished.

We aspire to build a society where each one of us is welcomed in life and protected in law. We haven’t arrived, but we are making progress. Here in Washington we passed good laws that promoted adoption and extended legal protection to children that are born despite abortion attempts. We came together to ban the cruel practice of partial birth abortion. (Applause.) And in the past year we have prevented that landmark law from being rolled back.

We’ve seen the dramatic breakthroughs in stem cell research that it is possible to advance medical science while respecting the sanctity of life. (Applause.) Building a culture of life requires more than law, it require changing hearts. And as we reach out to others and find common ground, we can see the glimmerings of a new America on a far shore. This America is rooted in our belief that a civilized society, the strong protect the weak. This America is nurtured by people like you, who speak up for the weak and the innocent. This America is the destiny of a people whose founding document speaks of the right to life that is a gift of our Creator, and not a grant of the state. (Applause.)

My friends, the time is short and your march is soon. (Laughter) As you give your voice to the voiceless I ask you to take comfort from this: The hearts of the American people are good. (Applause.) Their minds are open to persuasion. And our history shows that a cause rooted in human dignity and appealing to the best instincts of the American people cannot fail. So take heart. (Applause.)

Take heart, be strong, and go forth. May God bless you. (Applause.)

Dear Senator Fred Thompson,

Dear Senator Fred Thompson
Thursday, Feb. 24, 2008
As one of your earliest financial supporters, I can understand why you have withdrawn from the presidential race. The conservative base particularly the pro-life movement thanks you for being in the race. We want your help for a Republican victory.

I am particularly grateful that you did not endorse Senator John McCain for the presidency. The senator is a maverick and a sour pill to the pro-life movement. Of all the candidates, as I look at the National Right to Life News, January 2008, you have maintained a consistent pro-life record since first endorsed for the U.S. Senate in 1994.

The country is looking forward to another pro-life presidency in 2008. You would have been able to duplicate the outstanding pro-life presidency of George W. Bush. The classic remarks of President Bush for the March for Life Rally in Washington, D.C. yesterday will be posted on my blog tomorrow. www.cinopsbegone.blogspot.com

We are now down to two candidates, governors Mitt Romney and Mike Huckabee. Both are winners and it is time for a change with new leadership in Washington, D.C. The fact that one is a Mormon and the other a Baptist will go well with the 55 to 65 % of Catholic voters. They are fed up with the religious bias of the Secular Media and Elite. The one reason that Gore got 53% of the Catholic vote in 2000 is because he had Senator Lieberman of the Jewish Faith as his Vice President.

Historically, we have never had a media and elite that is so biased and unfair. They have become mouthpieces for the Democratic Party. They are corrupt and will use any half-truth and lie to win for the Democratic presidency this year. Their party in the social arena promotes the two A’s, two E’s and two SS’s. And these are: abortion on demand, assisted-suicide, euthanasia, embryonic stem-cell research and same-sex marriage. They are for Pope John Paul II dire warning for the Culture of Death.

I am hoping for a Mitt Romney win in Florida. Florida is a pro-life state where on the ballot in November we will have the marriage amendment.

In closing, let me state that Senator McCain is a great patriot. The media and elite are promoting him to the hilt for various reasons. They can influence up to 10% of the vote in his favor and also with dishonest opinion polls. But we will not let these liars pick our Republican presidential candidate. George F. Will hit the nail on the head. John makes a maverick Republican, or a mainstream Democrat. Almost all pro-life activists will agree sadly with the poignant and accurate remarks of Senator Rick Santorum given to Hugh Hewitt. (On KLAC-870 Talk Radio Daily M-F- 3P.M -6P.M)

“On social conservative issues, you point to me one time John McCain ever took the floor of the United States Senate to talk about a social conservative issue,” Santorum said. “It never happened.” “I mean this is a guy who says he believes in these things.”

“But, I can tell you, inside the room, when we were in these meetings, there was nobody who fought harder not to have these votes before the United States Senate on some of the most important social conservative issues, whether it’s abortion or the like..
This is just not a guy I think in the end that washes with the mainstream of the R. Party.”
Respectfully yours,
George H. Kubeck. Duplicate and or translate into Spanish.

Same-Sex Absurdity

Same-Sex Absurdity
Wednesday, Jan. 23, 2007
Below is the article by D.Q. McInerny, Ph.D., Professor of Philosophy in the Our Lady of Guadalupe Seminary. It’s about common sense and natural law.

The author quotes the legal code of ancient Rome established long before the Christian era. “Marriages are the union of male and female, a sharing of life and the communication of divine and human rights.”

Some say we are reverting to paganism, but many ancient pagans had it all over us as far as moral integrity is concerned. There is evidence that republican Rome was morally superior in some ways to contemporary Western society. They were clearly conscious of the reality of natural law and the direct practical bearing it has on our lives

“Man-made law can only be regarded as law to the extent that it mirrors the natural law, which is nothing else but the eternal of God as known by the human intellect.
“In contrast to the pagan Romans, we are in a state of denial as to the very existence of the natural law. What the denial of the natural law comes down to, in practical terms, is the rejection of the notion that there is an objective moral order which relates to all human beings and to which all of us are solemnly bound. The natural law is the universal moral law…. When men turn their backs on the natural law they go morally crazy and they begin to behave like beasts. Nonsense begins to make sense, and the absurd becomes positively appealing.”

Same-sex marriage is an oxymoron which is a figure of speech and joins together two mutually contradictory terms. It attempts to link together two concepts, identity of sex and marital union, that are completely incompatible, and therefore the phrase is meaningless. Our media refer to same-sex marriage as something as normal as mom, baseball, and apple pie. It is something like mass hypnosis. We grow accustomed that nonsense that it no longer sounds like nonsense.

“Marriage, we know, was instituted by God Himself, and is an integral, and immensely important, part of the natural order of things. If that were not enough to give to marriage a surpassing dignity, Christ added immeasurably to that dignity by raising it to the level of a sacrament…. (Same-sex marriage) is a direct and most serious affront to the natural law, that is to the objective moral order. Yet more seriously, however, it is a sacrilegious insult to the holy sacrament of marriage. … They are justifiably alarmed by the pushy propagandizing for so-called same-sex marriage see in this as open assault on the family. And they know that any society that bends its energies toward the destruction of the family is a society that has put itself on the path to suicide. The family – father, mother, and children – is the foundation upon which every society rests. Destroy that foundation, and the society fails.”

In closing, we have 2 to 3 % of Americans who have homosexual tendencies. Why did God create them? Many can change or be saints. However, the culture of death advocates want to expand this to 10% of the population and promote all of this as normal. First of all, there is a difference between the culture of death advocates and the homosexual person. The death advocates with the CINOPS deliberately seek to change our American culture for various reasons.

The Marriage Protection Amendment of 2006

The Marriage Protection Amendment

Some General information from the past and V.I. for the future: - March 3, 2006
Let us take a look at the big picture. As a Catholic, I am not living in Canada or Spain. It is there that the same-sex marriage laws were passed with the help of the CINOP (Catholic in Name only Politician.) I don’t want that catastrophe to happen in America.

The Staff at the California Catholic Bishop Conference is aware of the above. I believe the passage of the Marriage Protection Amendment is a number one goal. Number two and three would be the gathering of enough signatures to keep the Cross in the L.A. County Seal, and put another proposition 73- Parental Notification on the ballot. This is a religious matter. Hopefully, the cuddling and cover-up of the Calif. CINOP is over.

I have read that according to Catholic theology, heresy is the greatest of all sins: The sin of unbelief {heresy} is greater than any sin which occurs in the perversion of morals (St. Thomas Aquinas) This is because murder (abortion being one of the worst forms) is an attack on a creature, while heresy is a direct attack on God Himself.

A few days ago, I received a question and answer sheet on How to Preserve Traditional Marriage by Dr. James Kennedy of the Coral Ridge Ministries.
What can Congress do to protect marriage as the union of one man and one woman?
It can pass the Marriage Protection Amendment in mid-March, 2006.
What is the Marriage Protection Amendment?
It consists of a couple of very simple statements. SECTION 1.This article may be cited as The Marriage Protection Amendment. SECTION 2. “Marriage in the United States shall consist only of the union of a man and a woman. Neither this Constitution, nor the Constitution of any State, shall be construed to require that marriage or the legal incidents thereof be conferred upon any union other than the union of man & a woman.”
What is the cost to society when it drifts away from traditional marriage?
According to The Weekly Standard, marriage in Scandinavia is in deep decline and children are shouldering the burden of rising rates of family dissolution. The ‘mainspring of the decline’ is an increasing sharp separation between marriage and parenthood. This can be linked to homosexual marriage. This can happen in America.
Is there any scientific evidence in support of traditional marriage?
Science now confirms the many social, physical, and emotional advantages to adults and children alike in traditional families and also confirms the corresponding dangers of homosexual behavior. Same-sex marriage is the intersection of two counter-productive ideas: undermining the traditional model of marriage and family, and the acceptance and elevation of destructive sexual behavior. It is most certainly “in the interest of the state,” then, to preserve the traditional definition & institution of marriage.
Why shouldn’t we be tolerant of homosexual marriage?
First of all, without question, God says homosexuality is a sin. God’s word is clear on the priority of marriage and the sin of homosexuality – even in the New Testament (1 Corinthians 6:9-10) While we are called to love the sinner, we must hate the sin – not to give free reign over our most enduring and sacred institutions. Furthermore, without a constitutional amendment preserving the biblical definition of marriage, America also faces the prospect of … even more shocking perversity: - marriage to children, multiple spouse marriage, and so forth.

Mercy and grace and redemption in your life: Jesus heals. Live the abundant life. Don’t give up!

Father Mark: For the young people present, it is a personal insult. I was a non-person according to the law. We are on your side. Representing the truth:
Young Catholic Patriots: Home schooled: from Oakland, California: Young debaters about the child in the womb, life issues and in the public arena to persuade others:

Father Fessio S.J.: Babylon by the Bay: Young people are on fire with faith. Let this be a sign for the politicians.

Jesse Romero: Catholic Evangelist: The early Church put an end to infant killings and gladiator killings. Men are responsible. They pressure women. It is going to take men who are grounded in Christ, in the Scripture and in the prayer life. Secular Humanism and Moral Relativism is challenging us. Put on the mind of Christ, Daily Rosary, and wear sacramentals. Be at Holy Mass. Hear attentively the Word and body of Christ. The Mass is where men are grounded for battle. Reclaim back what the enemy has captured.

The Campaign Trail Report of Nov. 7/06 - 2

The Campaign Trail Report of Nov. 7, 2006 # 2

Note this a Committee of 1 report prior to the 06 Election Monday, Oct. 9th, 2006

Let’s go over our E-mails, telephone and personal conversations and flyer distribution: There is a loud: Yes on Proposition 85: No to the False Religion of Sanchez and Correa: Let’s memorize the pronunciation of the derivative, CINO. It rhymes with RINO (Republican in name only). Get the message out before the absentee ballots are mailed in.

The CINOP’s, (Catholic in name only Politicians) are the leaders of the Catholic in name only Religion in this State and throughout the Nation. They believe in the primacy of conscience, over Church beliefs, which is heretical. They also promote directly and indirectly the absolute evils: abortion on demand, same-sex marriage, assisted suicide, euthanasia, and embryonic stem cell research. Why should Catholics vote for such scoundrels?

Please note that Christians respect the atheist, the agnostic and the homosexual person. I would rather have a pro-life atheist, agnostic or a homosexual person than a CINOP represent me in government. There is a big difference between a homosexual and a gay person. During this past summer the Democratic California legislature came down with a series of gay agenda laws that were an insult to common sense, the family and Natural Law. If the Democratic Party wants to commit suicide, there are other parties that people can join and vote for in this and future elections.

In the kind of America we live in today, all of the above matters need to be dealt with solely and exclusively by the Catholic Laity. Truth is our most powerful weapon. The hottest places in hell are reserved for those who remain neutral during this moral crisis. Neutrality means you are going to vote for any CINOP. Neither do I believe in contrived optimism. Pope Benedict XVI experienced this at least once in America.

The CINOP is responsible for making the Catholic voting bloc the most uninformed in America. Let me give you a couple of examples: In 2004, the Catholic vote in California was 61% for Embryonic Stem Cell Research and for Senator Barbara Boxer 64%. Other Christians do not vote that way.

The vote that made me climb the wall was the presidential vote in 2000. Thanks to the Protestant vote Bush – 58%, Gore – 40%, and Nader – 2%, Bush was elected President. The Catholic vote was Bush – 46 %, Gore – 53%, Nader – 1%. This was a miracle experience for the traditional family values and the pro-life movement. As I wrote on Sunday, Nov. 12th, 2000, “It seems that the Protestants read Pope John Paul’s Encyclicals, ‘The Splendor of Truth’ and the ‘Gospel of Life.” (By the way, the majority of Catholics in Florida did vote for Bush.)

There are several First Class CINOP Wimps running for a State Office. See the Poster Boy Snapshot of Cruz Bustamante from the L.A. Times, Thurs. Nov. 10, 2005, A.20. He is with Kathy Kneer, President of Planned Parenthood holding hands celebrating the defeat of Proposition 73, Parents Right to Know & Child Protection Ballot Initiative. These CINOP’s are fraudulently using the Catholic label to run for office. From a personal note, there is CINOP Jerry Brown. He signed the Rodda Act in 1975. This Act destroyed the integrity and independence of the public school teacher. It politicized & legalized industrial type unionism in public education. Unionism has no place in public education. (I was a public school teacher for 23 yrs.).

There are five cultural informational flyers for distribution. One of the best is no. 2 of 5, The Seven Sacraments of Secularism by Rockford Bishop Doran. Presently, I am plowing through and trying to digest two books which I recommend. Bill O’Reilly, Culture Warrior, and David Carlin, Can a Catholic Be a Democrat? There is nothing more powerful in America than an informed Catholic voter.
In closing, if you are unsure of who and what propositions to vote for, there is a sign on my garage wall: Vote against the Candidates and Issues that the Hollywood and Media Elites Support. (Please E-mail the above to voters and all churches in the Sanchez and Correa voting areas.)

The Campaign Trail Report on Nov. 7, 2006 - 1

The Campaign Trail Report of Nov. 7th, 2006 - 1

This is a report on A Committee of 1 prior to the 06 Election ------Friday, September 29, 2006

Let us start off with the bad news. Most Americans are clueless with respect to the Culture War going on in America or the existence of a Catholic in name only Religion in the U.S.A. and Canada. Yes, the ACLU is your personal enemy. You don’t have to read Bill O’Reilly’s Cultural Warrior. You don’t have to buy the book just listen closely to talk radio, Michael Medved and Dennis Prager on KLAC Radio 870, on Mon-Fri. 9 A.M. to 3 P.M.

Thanks to the politicians, the Catholic in name only Religion is well established in Canada. For example: “Ottawa, September 26, 2006 (LifeSiteNews.com) – Three Canadian Members of Parliament who identify themselves as Catholic have cited what they are calling their “religious faith” as the reason they supported the change in law identifying homosexual unions as “marriage” in Canada.”

The CINOP’s in the U.S.A. must be defeated at election time. This religious cancer has been around for thirty years. It may take at least ten years to stamp it out. This false religion is morally and intellectually bankrupt. We want truth in advertising and get rid this albatross around the neck of our Catholic Faith. This religious cancer is not only about abortion. It is a Trojan horse by CINOP’s (Catholic in name only Politicians) within our Catholic Community promoting the Culture of Death Agenda of assisted suicide, euthanasia, same sex marriage and embryonic stem research. It is a No vote for Loretta Sanchez and Lou Correa on Nov. 7th. Where are their Christian Values and Character?

Now let us continue with the good news. It began with a surprising fun day. I received an invitation last week in my name to State Senate Candidate Lou Correa to a BBQ at Stanton Park for Sat. Sept. 23rd, 2006, 11A.M. to 12:30 P.M. This is great. I believed there would over a hundred people in attendance and will be able to pass out one or more of the 5 prepared Dear Voter Flyers: Well, Lou was about 30 minutes late. I talked to Lou on the way into the picnic location. I reminded him that today was the Feast of St. Padre Pio, and asked if he still was a member of the Knights of Columbus and consider running as a pro-life democrat. I told him that the California Democratic Party is opposed to Proposition 85. Lou says he is for Proposition 85.

It was a friendly encounter. I had a hot dog and a small bag of chips. There were about 30 -35 participants at the picnic. I passed out the flyer on Proposition 85. (Keep reminding receivers that the Calif. Democratic Party is opposed to Proposition 85). At about 12:30 P.M. Lou left with his aide and I walked him to the location of his car. He seemed subdued, and mentioned that he paid two year dues to the K. of C. I again mentioned about his running as a pro-life democrat and today’s Feast of St. Padre Pio. He whispered that he needs prayers. Hopefully, once defeated, he will see the Light. I am looking forward to a picnic with Loretta Sanchez.

On Thursday evening, at the Nixon Library, I got to page 70 of Bill O’Reilly’s book, Culture Warrior. I was waiting with 700 others to get his book signed. I read the ten commandments of the Secular Progressives that are going to replace God’s Ten Commandments. It was crude, pathetic and barbaric. Here are number 4 and 5. Thou Shalt Circumvent Mother and Father in Personal Issues Such as Abortion and Sex Education in Public Schools. Thou Shalt Kill if Necessary to Promote Individual Rights in Cases of Abortion and Euthanasia.

My commitment of passing out over 1000 flyers at St. Justin and St. Polycarp and their adjoining homes and precincts is going well. Copies of the 5 flyers can be mailed to you or picked up at Abortion Site, 2445 Chapman, Orange, on Wed. or Fri. 9:30 to 10:00 A.M. during October, for your duplication in other areas of Churches in the Sanchez and Correa precincts. This is basically an educational program which can be continued even after the election.

Do Mess with the CINOPS - 1 (V.I.P.)

Do Mess with the CINOPS – 1 (V.I.P.)
Friday, Jan. 18, 2008
More and more professors like Robert George, a McCormick Professor of Jurisprudence at Princeton University will write articles like the one in First Things, that unlike the clergy sexual abuse scandal, the tolerated scandal of prominent anti-life Catholics continues to engender far more insidious effects upon society. (“Danger and Opportunity: A Plea to Catholics” in First Things.)

Robert George feels that the scandal of pro-abortion Catholics and its cover-up by bishops threatens more damage to the Catholic Church than the abhorrent scandal of pedophile priest hiding behind their Roman collars to perpetuate crimes against children. I agree with him and it is time for the Catholic Laity to resolves this most serious problem with a simple No Vote for all CINOPS.

George states. “Nothing undermines the cause of justice and cultural reform and renewal than the bad example of prominent Catholics who have made themselves instruments of what Pope John Paul II bluntly described as ‘the culture of death.’”

George continues, “The scandal given by these individuals over the past thirty years, particularly to the exposure of the unborn to abortion and more recently, embryo-destructive research, is far greater in its cultural effects even than the horrific-the word is not too strong-scandal of clergy sex abuse.” The pro-life movement has been carrying this cross for decades. And that is only the tip of the iceberg. It is the CINOPS promotion directly and indirectly the inherent evils of assisted-suicide, euthanasia and same-sex marriage. And they believe that they can get away with all that and murder in this coming election year. They won’t.

There is a role for the bishops and there is also a role for the Catholic Laity.
As bishops they do not have to get involved in politics but exhort lay Catholics to fulfill their responsibilities in the political arena and other cultural dimensions and let them know about the culture war going on. Also, politics is not a dirty word and everyone in the parish should be registered to vote and to vote by absentee ballot. On election, they can persuade and call others to vote.

If the scandals have enough power to make many Catholic “lose confidence in the reliability of the Church as a teacher of truth, particularly in the moral domain” then the Church’s toleration of publicly proclaimed pro-abortion Catholics is much worse, especially when the culture is in … peril.

Robert George writes that Catholics should know that the Church faces both “danger” and an “opportunity for a special kind of greatness, the greatness, the greatness that comes only in times of the most profound danger.

“Critical (possible irreversible) decisions will be made in the year or two” writes George, indicating that the particular decisions to which he is referring will occur in the field of marriage and bioethics. Both issues, he says, “will go one way or the other depending on the posture and actions of Catholics.” In Canada, the bishops failed to deal with the CINOP. Most U.S. dioceses will not fail in this matter.

USA March for Life in Calif. and Washington, D.C.

USA March for Life in Calif. and Washington, D.C.
Thursday, Jan. 17, 2008
Nellie Gray is the organizer of the annual March for Life in Washington, D.C. She encourages all pro-life advocates across the country to attend the March. (Info from LifeSitenews.com)

The March for Life, which began in 1974, occurs every January 22, memorializing the anniversary of the infamous Roe v. Wad decision.

Tens of thousands will converge on Washington, D.C. in a massive demonstration against abortion, marching from Capitol Hill to the Supreme Court.

In the past President Bush has phoned in the March, to offer his sup-ort to those gathered in front of Capitol Hill, and to pledge his support to the pro-life cause.

In the past there have been over one hundred thousand participants. Many of the young come by buses from schools and churches. Many Knights of Columbus members will help and are involved with signs of Defend Life.

What we have is genocide and more than one million pre-born are killed yearly. Yes, genocide is going on in the Sudan but why the silence of celebrities in America.

Nellie Gray stressed her belief that if change is going to happen in America, especially on the abortion issue, it is going to come, not from the top down, but from the bottom up-that is, from a strong, ever growing and more powerful grassroots movement. The March for Life is the main event where ordinary Americans can come together and unite their voices in decrying the injustice of abortion, demanding that Washington respond with outlawing the murder of unborn children.

It also gives families an opportunity which schools and colleges show up for this special educational event and for them to decide possibly which schools to send their children to for their education.

Nellie Gray said, “The theme that we have for this 35th annual march for life is to build unity on the life principles throughout the United States, no exceptions and no compromise…. The young people understand that abortion does indeed intentionally kill innocent human beings… Some even call themselves the one/third who have not been aborted.”

Some of the highlights include the magnificent Vigil Mass, which takes place the night before the March, at the National Basilica, and the Rose Dinner, which will take place on the evening of the March.
Other Special Events:
On the West Coast in San Francisco, there is a March for Life on Saturday, Jan. 19th along the San Francisco waterfront. It will be shown on EWTN, 11:30 AM.
In Washington, D.C. on Sunday, Jan. 20th at Catholic University of America, there is Students for Life Conference 7:30 A.M. – 9:45 P.M.
On Monday, Jan. 21st at Georgetown, Cardinal O’Connor Conference, speakers include Carl Anderson, Supreme Knight of the Knights of the Columbus. The March for Life on ETWN is made possible with the Knight’s financial support.

The Truth in Black and White - 3

The Truth in Black and White – 3
Wednesday, Jan. 16, 2008

This is a good news page: We have discovered Maxim 3 and 4 from the blog – www.cinopsbegone.blogspot.com or cinops be gone, posted daily.

A.) Maxim 3) From Mother Teresa: “Do not wait for leaders, do it on your own, person to person.” Our leaders will spring up from the young. Watch them on EWTN Catholic Television twice. This coming Saturday, Jan. 19, 2008 at 11:30 A.M. from San Francisco, California and on Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2008 marking the infamous Roe v. Wade decision, from Washington, D.C. in the early morning. It is the yearly March for Life with thousands of participants and young people outnumbering seniors five to one or more.

If you do not have access to ETWN; have someone tape it for you. It will be exciting and inspiring to watch. The News Media in the past hasn’t got the guts to report it in a fair and accurate manner. They are the wimps for the culture of death advocates in the U.S.A. Maybe, this year it is going to be different.

B.) Maxim 4) is that while the abbreviation CINOP stands for Catholic in Name only Politician, CINOP can also stand for Christian in name only politician. Our fellow Christians like the Baptists, Lutherans, Evangelicals and others do have politicians with that Christian label who are promoting directly and indirectly the 2 A’s, 2 E’s and the 2 SS’s. (Abortion, assisted-suicide, euthanasia, embryonic-stem cell research, and same-sex marriage.) Our so-called Catholics outnumber them. They also need to be voted out of office in 2008 or thereafter.

C.) And now for some up-lifting and great news from Father Frank Pavone, Priests for Life. E-mail, mail@priestforlife.org Website: www.priestsforlife.org
Please support them financially. I have done for years. They have done outstanding work in the past in Florida in 2000 and in Ohio 2004 and throughout the U.S.A. in educating Catholics and other Christians on the pro-life and family movement. P.F.L. is one of the 3 or 4 factors nationally for today's the pro-life presidency.

“To show you that no matter how bleak things may appear … or how biased the mainstream media is in reporting on the violence of abortion … or how discouraging the news can sound at times … the TRUTH is … we are WINNING the fight to end abortion!!!” Father Frank Pavone

Ten Reasons Why the Pro-life Movement is Winning
1. The Survivors … the young are pro-life 2. Conversion … from abortion to pro-life 3. Remorse … all those speaking out against abortion from personal experience. 4. Fewer doctors and abortion mills! 5. Litigation … information on the unborn entered into court records! 6. Science … evidence mounts that abortion harms women! 7. Abortion supporters have run out of arguments! 8. Voters … our pro-life cause have more of them! 9. Legislation … more pro-life laws being passed. 10. Corruption … abortion is destroying itself. Check out their website.

C.) In closing, let us quote from Psalm 12, Liturgy of the Hours, 1-15-08
Help, O Lord, for good men have vanished: truth has gone from the sons of men
Falsehood they speak one to another with lying lips, with a false heart…
It is you, O Lord, who will take us in your care….

Report # 16 on Dave Carlin's Book

Report # 16 on Dave Carlin’s Book
Can a Catholic be a Democrat?
Part II (continued) Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2008
The Party and the Church are Irreconcilable
Chapter 4 – The Catholic-Secularist Abyss p. 89-93

Let’s state the fact that we have more than a dozen pro-life Democratic Congressmen. I hope they get reelected. What is the beef? The beef is that the National Democratic Party, Secularists and CINOPS are using these Congressmen to promote the national culture of death agenda. (The two A’s, the two E’s and the two SS.)
Moral objectivism versus subjectivism:
When we say that that moral rules or values are subjective, conversely, we mean that they’re manmade creations – invented by some group (a religion, a society, a sub-society) or individual….
Catholics believe that moral values and the rules of morality are objective, not created by humans but created by God…. Secularists believe that moral values and rules are subjective, rooted in nothing more solid than personal or cultural preference….

Absolutism versus relativism:
Catholics will allow that certain rules of morality admit of exceptions or careful distinctions…. Some circumstances – rare no doubt – in which it’s morally permissible, even perhaps morally obligatory, to stretch the truth…. Catholicism does not, however, have this flexibility with regard to all rules of morality. For example, murder (that is, the intentional killing of an innocent human being) is always wrong – no exceptions. And there are many other rules that do not admit of exceptions, that apply to intrinsic evils: one must never commit suicide, one must never commit abortion, none must never engage in acts of adultery or fornication or homosexuality; …
Catholicism, in short, has a long list of moral rules that are exceptionless or absolute. From this flows the traditional principle: do no evil, even if good might come from it….
Secularists are not absolutists; if we take the word relativism to be the opposite of absolutism, they are moral relativists….
Many of the moral disagreements between Catholicism and secularism, quite obviously have to do with matters pertaining to sexuality: fornication, cohabitation, divorce, abortion, homosexuality, and so forth….
The secularist, who believes that we have only one life to live, sees sex as one of the great opportunities for enjoyment available to him…. The great majority of them believe in a certain degree of sexual restraint; … an imprudently conducted sex life can lead to all kinds of problems. But so long as prudence is observed, the secularist would argue, we should be quite free to indulge our wishes for sexual enjoyment….
Catholicism sees sex, like everything created by God, as good in itself, and can agree with the secularist that sex can be a legitimate source of pleasure, intimacy, and personal development. But the Church would add an important qualifier: the utilization of this good thing is rightly reserved, according to Natural Law and divine positive command, to a permanent exclusive relationship with a single member of the opposite sex, secured by the bonds of marriage….
At the same time, the renunciation of all non-marital sex makes good sense according to the Catholic belief in the afterlife. Since our brief lifespan is but a vestibule to eternal life, there’s no need to maximize sexual experience and enjoyment (or, for that matter, any other temporal enjoyment and experiences) here below. (to be continued)

No to CINOP Rudy Giuliani

No to CINOP Rudy Giuliani
Monday, Jan. 14, 2008
Rudy is a great guy for the cabinet post of Homeland Security in a pro-life Presidency. He must understand the following which Author Tom Piatak wrote in the The American Conservative of January 14, 2008. It’s a No Vote in all primaries.

A pro-abortion nominee would shatter Reagan’s coalition. There is no doubt what the support of social conservative has brought the GOP: electoral victory after electoral victory, including the reelection victory of George W. Bush in 2004. Without the support of social conservatives in Ohio for Bush, we would now be approaching the end of CINOP John Kerry’s first term. In fact, in the 28 years since the elder Bush became pro-life to become Reagan’s running mate, the GOP has controlled at least the White House, the House, or the Senate- and often several of these – in 26 of those years.
If Giuliani becomes the party’s standard-bearer and is then elected, the informal prohibition against pro-choice candidates within the party will inevitably decline. (Besides we have two other candidates Thompson and Romney who can win.) The bar for future candidates will be set not by the Gipper, but by the former mayor of New York who proudly told CNN in 1999. “I am pro-choice, I’m pro-gay rights.”

As mayor, he marched in gay-pride parades and proclaimed “Out in Government Day.” In 1997, he signed a bill providing to city employees “domestic partnerships” the same benefits enjoyed by married employees. Giuliani described the legislation as a “significant step forward in the human rights continuum.”
With respect to abortion, Giuliani opposed all efforts to provide legal protection to the unborn. He spoke in opposition to requiring minors to obtain parental consent for abortions and favored taxpayer funding. When asked on “Meet the Press” in 2000 if he supported Clinton’s veto of a partial-birth ban, he responded, “I would vote to preserve the option for women,” positioning himself to the left of many Democrats.

Giuliani told Phil Donahue in 1989, “If the ultimate choice of a woman – my daughter or any other woman – would be in this particular circumstance to have an abortion, I’d support that. I’d give my daughter the money for it.” He went so far as to proclaim Jan. 22, 1998 – the 25th anniversary of Roe v. Wade --- “Roe v. Wade Anniversary Day.”
There is no reason to expect anything substantially different from a President Giuliani. (Even with his principal concession to social conservative his pledge to appoint strict constructionist judges to the Supreme Court sounds hollow. While his supporters trumped the fact that the abortion rate declined when he was mayor the facts are that Giuliani did nothing to even discourage abortion, the abortion rate underwent a steeper decline in the rest of the State.

There is no doubt that a Giuliani candidacy would alienate many social conservative voters, pushing some to their ancestral Democratic home, some to a possible pro-life third party, and some to stay home on election day. (And for the “cinop be gone” blog it would muddy the waters in obtaining 55 to 60% of the Catholic vote for a Pro-Life President and the defeat of many CINOP politicians.)

Goodbye Loretta Sanchez aand Lou Correa

Goodbye Loretta Sanchez and Lou Correa
Significant excerpts from a letter sent prior the 06 ELECTION: Sunday, September 17/06

It is goodbye to all Catholic-in-name-only Politicians in both political parties. Why? They are the leaders of the Catholic-in-name-only Religion in America. This is a false religion. It is time to vote them out of office. For over thirty years they have been a scandal and an insult to the practice of our Catholic Faith in our Church community and in the Public arena. When you study this matter; it is truly a religious matter and not a political matter that we are dealing with.

This call is made to other Christians including Baptists and Evangelicals. Help us get rid of these Catholic pretenders at election time. How do we pronounce CINO? Well, it rhymes with RINO, Republican-in-name-Only. These politicians must stop using the Catholic label when running for office. Pro-abortion, assisted suicide, euthanasia, same-sex marriage are not Catholic.

We say goodbye to Pataki, Giuliani, and Schwarzenegger and their presidential ambitions. Our California Governor is a Third Class CINOP. He did veto the same-sex marriage law and SB. 1427, the homosexual indoctrination law for our public schools. He blundered when he signed SB 1441 which would require faith-based organizations to choose between forfeiting state funds or accepting homosexual “rights” – behavior diametrically opposed to their Christian principles. (The Governor is strongly influenced by his wife Maria who is from the East Coast CINOP Kennedy Clan.) Running for Democratic Governor, Phil Angelides would have signed all the above laws.

We say goodbye to CINOP Senator Lincoln Chafee of Rhode Island. He is a First Class bona-fide Republican Catholic Wimp. It was a serious mistake for the RNC to send in hundreds of operatives to turn out the vote for Chafee. Chafee reminds me of Nancy Pelosi and her fifty-five CINOP’s in Congress. They believe that they can get away with the primacy of conscience heresy. If you can’t trust them with their religion, how can you trust them with their politics!

A lot of people do not listen to the news anymore because it is bad. But as Catholics we need to be informed and to inform others (particularly those that attend Mass with you) and are not registered to vote. They can now register, and from their homes vote via absentee ballots for the rest of their lives. Persuade them to do this. It is very, very important for the sake of their children and grandchildren to register to vote and to be informed. The election is held on Nov. 7th.

They need to know that there is culture war going on in America. Dozens of books have been written about this conflict. The newspapers and TV news have a code of silence on this subject. Sadly, the CINOP is a blind man and is on the side of the Culture of Death. During this hot California summer, we had all of these laws coming down from the legislators that were written by pagans in suits and skirts. It was frightening, and in your face with respect to the Ten Commandments, Common Sense and Natural Law. We need to show them that we are not fools. In the past, many of us did vote for them, and the Embryonic Stem Cell Research and many of us voted against Parental Notification of Minors before the child under 18 can have an abortion.

May I share with you a report that I received from info@lifepriority.net . Senate District 35 – Special Elections – A Missed Opportunity. “It happened this April in the 35th Senate District special election in Orange County…It was a race between Republican Assemblyman Tom Harman and Councilwoman Diane Harkey…Mr. Harman’s pro-choice position and voting record spoke for him.” (Harkey’s position on life and family was unknown. I believe, it was agreed by the two campaigns not to bring up the pro-life position of Harkey. Absentee ballots had already been cast before Harkey’s pro- life views were made known. Harkey lost by 237 votes via the absentee ballots. Here is a message for the political elite: Orange County is a pro-family & pro-life county.)

I will be passing out over a thousand flyers at the exits of St.Justin and St. Polycarp Churches & their adjoining homes and precincts. It is an educational program. Flyers and copies available.

The Final Burial Service of Bill Press's Book # 2

The Final Burial Service of Bill Press’s Book # 2
Report Card # 23 on Bill Press’s Book
How the Republican Stole Christmas

Note this letter was written prior to the 06 Congressional Elections- Fri., Sept. 8th, 2006
The Last Chapter 7 – Cashing in on God’s Love (Nothing significant to report)

“Do not wait for leaders; do it alone, person to person.” Mother Teresa

At this wake and burial of Bill Press’s book, may I share with you a message from history? When a Catholic gets tempted by the Spirit of the Times in which he lives, bad things can happen to him and his Catholic faith. He loses his Catholic identity.

We have seen what occurred during the 1930’s in Germany and Italy. And after World War II, we witnessed Catholics in Italy voting for Communist candidates. Last year, we saw what happened in Canada and Spain: Catholic liberals and Catholic socialist leaders already pro-abortion voted and passed same-sex marriage laws.

I believe that if we had Presidents Gore in 2000 or Kerry in 2004, same-sex marriage laws would have been passed in Congress with the help of CINOPs (Catholic-in-name-only Politicians). So we have a history of CINOPs foolish adherence to the Nazis, Fascists, Communists, Liberals and Socialists. Today, add to the above absolute evils, assisted suicide, euthanasia, embryonic ….

While my focus is mainly on the politicians, other Catholic leaders have spoken out sharply on this most serious problem within our country and our Catholic community. We will not have a code of silence.

“Pagans in the pews and equivocating clerical leaders are encouraging an unprecedented assault on the moral law and traditional family,” said C.J. Doyle, executive director of the Catholic Action League of Massachusetts. Addressing a recent Catholic Friends and Family Conference in Richmond, N.H., Doyle feels this assault is ‘enabled and emboldened by indifference and complicity within the Church.’ He cites Catholics who typically vote for candidates supporting abortion and sodomy and personally choose pagan lifestyles, including quasi-pornographic entertainment, raging consumerism and materialism.
Doyle thinks ‘Pagans who go to Mass’ might be a more accurate description of today’s American Catholics…. A militant homosexual movement and a government which undermines parental authority have numbed opponents into silence or equivocation….
Dole feels the proper response is ‘justifiable outrage’ at a ‘ruthless and far reaching aggression’ by those demanding society’s acceptance of homosexuality and same-sex unions.
Doyle calls to Catholics not to reject Catholic teaching on natural law and sexual morality but to speak out loud and clear. “It’s not the Republican Party, the conservative movement, the religious right, the pro-life/pro-family movement that is going to save our civilization. It’s our Catholic faith that comes to us from the Apostles.” don@thesourcedaily.com Sep. 5, 2006 Also http://w.w.w.michnews.com

With Faith, Truth and Justice, we will move forward with a Catholic Action Agenda. (We thank Bill for writing this book and opening our eyes to the Catholic-in-name-only Religion in America. We pray for the conversion of Bill back to the Faith of his father, mother and grandparents.)…

The Catholic Vote in the Past - 2

The Catholic Vote in the Past – 2
Friday, Jan. 11, 2008
1.) Let’s check the results of the California election for Governor and Senator in November, 1998. (L.A. Times, Portrait of the Electorate, Nov. 5/98)
Catholic vote for pro-abort CINOP Davis 58% - Pro-life Catholic Lungren – 38%
Non-Catholic Christian vote for Davis 47% - Pro-life Catholic Lungren - 51%
Catholic vote – Senator Barbara Boxer 54%- Republican Fong --------- 42%
Non-Catholic Christian for Bar. Boxer 41%- Republican Fong ---------- 56%

2.) Let’s go ahead to the Presidential Election of 2000:
The following is a letter that was published in The Tidings L.A., on Jan. 12, 2001.
Titled: Presidential elections results speak loudly:
The presidential vote for Governor George W. Bush was a miracle experience for the traditional family values and the pro-life movement, thanks to the Protestant vote: Bush 58 percent, Gore 40 percent and Nader 2 percent. On the other hand, the Catholic vote was Bush 46 percent, Gore 53 percent, and Nader 1 %
Note the difference between the two religious blocs. It seems that the Protestants read Pope John Paul’s Encyclicals, “The Splendor of Truth” and “The Gospel of Life.” The so-called Catholics did not. Catholic religious beliefs were either ignored or misunderstood.
This is an outrage, scandal and shame on many of the Catholic hierarchy and church rectories throughout the country. Moral blindness is no excuse. It is at times, deliberate & political. The role of the Catholic laity is to be informed & get involved.
George H. Kubeck, Stanton

3.) Here is another letter dated Jan. 29, 2001: Dear Senators Biden, Daschle, Dodd, Harkin, Kennedy, J.Kerry, Landrieu, Leahy, Mikulski and Murray.
It is mind-boggling to me to find out that the Catholic vote in America almost elected Al Gore president. Let’s find out why?
Do you remember the song, “Shop the Union Label”? That melody is truthful, appropriate and effective. How about the Catholic label attached to pro-abortion politicians. That is a lie, a scandal, and slander to the Catholic Faith.
You are one of those. The next time you run for office, please run as a Catholic Dissenter, so voter know who you are. You are the sophisticated puppets of secular and atheistic humanists. The Senate hearings on Senator John Ashcroft was an education for all Americans.
George H. Kubeck
P.S. All of the above, except for Senator Dodd, voted against Senator John Ashcroft for Attorney General. ) Monday, Feb. 5, 200l
P.P.S. Historically, Catholics have been duped left and right by the Socialist and Communists, Fascist and Nazis in Europe with their so-called Social, Health, and Welfare Programs for the Poor. Blinded by Modern Liberalism, the Catholic Dissenter Senators along with Congressmen like Loretta Sanchez, and Governor Davis become Quislings for the Culture of Death and Trojan Horses within the Catholic Faith Community.

A Role Model

A ROLE MODEL
Thursday, January 10, 2008

It was a breadth of fresh air to read this article on the Internet (www.lifenews.com) dated March 3, 2005: Archbishop Charles Chaput spoke to a crowd of Denver civic and business leaders at the City Club of Denver on “Church, State and Politics.” He is one of the strongest Episcopal voices defending the rights of Christians to participate in public life and defend the rights of the unborn.

Fightin’ Denver Bishop Defends Church and Unborn: Any Questions?
1. One woman asked, “Why do (religions) feel they have to impose their views on us?” Without pause, Archbishop Chaput replied, “If we don’t – you’ll impose your views on us.”
2. Another asked, “When is the church going to agree to pay taxes?” Archbishop Chaput shot back, “I run 50 Catholic schools that keep you from paying more taxes, is that worth it to you?”
Who will take care of the unwanted children?” another asked. “I’ll take any child that is unwanted and find them a home and take care of the mother.” He added, “You’ll have my personal pledge.”

In his address the Archbishop pointed out that the work he has done on behalf of the poor and homeless and against the death penalty has been nearly ignored by the press. “As a church more than 80% of our time, resources, ministry personnel and lobbying efforts go to issues that have nothing to do with abortion. But you’ll never see that on anybody’s front-page either, because it isn’t news.” He pointed out that the normal life of the Catholic Church is to defend the poor and helpless. In fact he said, “It’s so normal that nobody pays attention – until they disagree.”

What does all this mean to me? It means I am going memorize his answers. But there is more. Last year in the Nov. 2004 issue of Crisis magazine, The Archbishop of Denver wrote, “The abortion issue cannot be avoided. IT’S THE CENTRAL MORAL CONFLICT OF THIS MOMENT IN OUR NATION’S HISTORY. Every abortion kills an unborn child. Every abortion leaves a woman emotionally scarred. Every abortion is a grave act of violence. All of these things fundamentally damage the common good.”

In conclusion, there is some good news locally. If you believe that St. Dominic, St. Thomas Aquinas, and St. Catherine of Siena are great saints and role models, and you seek the truth, and wish to proclaim it.
Well, there is a Dominican Laity Chapter in Formation in Orange County. They meet monthly. This month’s meeting is on Tuesday, Jan. 22nd at 7 P.M., at St. Joachim Church, 1964 Orange Ave., Costa Mesa. Calif. 92627. (Annex C)

Also, you can be a role model by supporting the Parental Notification Measure Sarah’s Law. It provides for a waiting period and parental notification before the termination of minor’s pregnancy, constitutional amendment. It will be on the ballot in California in 2008. A paid gatherer of signatures is very expensive. Your help would be deeply appreciated. There are only five names to get for each Initiative Measure Sheet. The Catholic Vote in the Past - 1

The Catholic Vote in the Past - 1
Wednesday, January 9, 2007
From Catholic Answers let us take a look. The Catholics make up 26% of the electorate. There is a higher proportion of Catholics than Protestants who turn out to vote. Catholics are more likely to vote for “liberal” candidates: In 1992, 44% voted for Bill Clinton, while only 34% of Protestants did so. In 1996, 53% of Catholics voted for Clinton while only 35% of Protestants did so.

In 2000, over 50% of Catholics voted for Al Gore. However, in 2004 52% of Catholics voted for the pro-life presidential Candidate George W. Bush. There is progress on the pro-life presidential candidates. However, let us continue with the year 2004.

Two-thirds of American Catholics support keeping abortion legal. -- 66%
More than half of them support euthanasia or assisted suicide. – 56%
34% support fetal stem cell research. 47% support homosexual “marriage.”
Tellingly, 55% of American Catholics do not attend Mass regularly.

You can understand that the CINOP is the role model for the second largest religious group in America, the generic and non-grounded Catholics. It is the main reason why Catholics need to vote out of office these unscrupulous religious political heretics. We start in 2008.

And the Catholic population is concentrated in states (such as California, New York, New Jersey, and Massachusetts) that have a high number of Electoral College votes. These figures are from the Gallup Organization, and they show that Catholics can make or break an election.

Let us see what else happened in 2004. The Catholic Vote in California – 2004. (L.A. Times, B-7, Thurs. Nov. 4, 2004) These results will make you weep.

Catholics voted for Embryonic Stem Research – 61% Protestants – 47%

Catholics voted for Kerry – 59% Protestants – 40%

Catholics voted for Bush -- 41 % Protestants – 59%

Catholic vote for Senator Boxer – 64% Protestants – 43%

Catholic vote for potential Senator Jones – 32% Protestants – 53%

At this point may I ask the most perplexing question of all? Why are Protestant voters so much smarter on pro-life issues than Catholic voters?

When all is said and done, it is matter of being grounded in one’s Catholic Faith. This is something I do not understand about the CINOP. He may be grounded in politics but stupid and destructive to his own Faith and the Faith of his Fathers, and in particular, to that of the Latino Community as an example.

Report # 15 on David Carlin's Book

Report # 15 on David Carlin’s Book
Can a Catholic be a Democrat?
Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2008
Par II
The Party and the Church are Irreconcilable
Chapter 4- The Catholic-Secularist Abyss p.84-87

This is not a happy chapter to read. Particularly, if your family history is democratic. The party of their fathers does not exist any more. And this applies not only to Catholics but also to Protestants. What the author is doing is just stating the harsh reality. The great Democratic Party has been taken over by elitists who do not believe in traditional America and want to use the Democratic Party and the Courts to change America into a strictly secular nation.

Why can’t Catholics and secularists get along? In the past Catholics in the North got along with the Southern white Protestants and voted for the Democrats.

“The answer is simple: Southern white Protestants didn’t like the Catholic religion, to be sure, and in their sermons and Sunday Schools they relentlessly found fault with it. But they didn’t use the Democratic Party to promote their anti-Catholicism. By contrast, secularist are using their position of dominance in the Democratic Party effectively to destroy Catholicism in America (and old-fashioned Protestantism too). Through the party, they’re vigorously promoting moral values that clash so directly with those of traditional Christianity that if they’re validated in American culture, traditional Christianity must be invalidated. …

“The nineteenth-century French philopher-sociologist August Comte said, “Ideas govern the world” It follows from this that people who differ radically in their ideas will find it difficult to cooperate on matters of importance. Catholics and secularist hold radically different principles about the limits of knowledge and the nature of reality, and from these differences flow conflicting – in fact, irreconcilable – theories of morality. …

“…With almost no exceptions, secularists are empiricists; that is to say, they hold that it’s impossible to have any knowledge that doesn’t come to us through the senses…. Catholicism, by contrast, holds that the human mind is capable of obtaining knowledge of God – not complete or comprehensive knowledge, to be sure, but at least partial knowledge. It teaches that the existence of God can be proven by human reason; more important, it teaches that God has revealed to humankind, through the Church and the Bible, knowledge about himself….
`“Further, Catholicism has always held that there’s a “natural” or non-revealed knowledge of moral principles possessed by all humans. This is the moral knowledge referred by St. Paul in his letter to the Romans (2:15), where he says of the gentiles that they have “a law written in their hearts.” Knowledge of this “natural law” is not, to be sure, as complete knowledge of morality as is given by divine revelation….” p. 84-87
There is also a conflict between Naturalism and Supernaturalism. The secularists are almost all naturalists. Nature is all there is. There are no realms of being that transcends nature. There is no God and no immortals souls.

Do Mess with the ACLU !

Do Mess with the ACLU!
Monday, January 7, 2008
I received a letter from the ACLU which reads: Dear Friend,
“I am writing to urge your active participation in the ACLU’s all out effort to restore our lost liberties. (American Civil Liberties Union)
The ACLU is actively working to reverse the damage done by the Patriot Act, the Military Commissions Act, the unchecked and secret spying on innocent Americans, abuse at Abu Ghraib, extraordinary renditions, detentions without trial at Guantanamo Bay, and other affronts.”

To the above I say hogwash. We are at war with Terrorism. The above measures have prevented another 9/11 terror attack. I know of no American who has lost his liberty. You have an irrational hatred of President Bush. It is partly because he is a practicing Christian, a pro-life President and won Florida & Ohio voters in 2000 & 2004.

Let us check out the history of the ACLU. The ACLU was founded in 1920 by communist enthusiast Roger Baldwin, “I am for socialism, and ultimately, for abolishing the state itself … I seek the social ownership of property, the abolition of the propertied class, and the sole control of those who produce wealth. Communism is the goal.”

They are the authors of National Division: From the Washington Post – Dec. 14, 2004
In 1947, the ACLU was responsible for Everson v. Board of Education coming before the high court. One of its lawyers, Leo Pfeffer, wrote the draft of the opinion which resulted in the popularization of the so-called, “separation of church and state.”
The author of the Everson decision was Justice Hugo Black, a card-carrying member of the ACLU and a former member of the Alabama Ku Klux Clan.
In 1962 Justice Black also wrote the decision (Engel v. Vitale) prohibiting school prayer.

Thanks to Liberty Counsel – www.LC.org , let us check out the ACLU programs.
Ten Campaigns of the ACLU:

1. Erasing our Christian Heritage. 2. Attacking Religious Liberties.
3. Silencing the Church. 4. Advancing Sexual Anarchy.
5. Sexualizing Our Children. 6. Redefining Marriage and Family.
7. Promoting Obscenity. 8. Promoting a Culture of Death.
9. Impending the War on Terror. 10. Looting the American Taxpayer

A Partial List of the ACLU’S Legacy at the Supreme Court:
1962 – Engel v. Vitale – Attempted to end prayer in schools
1963 - Abington v. Schempp – Assaulted authority of the Bible
1985 - Wallace v. Jaffree – Opposed public “moments of silence”
1992 - Lee v. Weisman – Called for end to all graduation prayer

The ACLU gives you an idea of the challenges we face. They boast 500,000 members and are the largest public interest law firm in the nation. They employ roughly 100 staff attorneys and have the assistance of nearly 6000 volunteer attorneys. They file thousands of law suits each year. They are involved in the “political” realm and we must do likewise. Reference Maxim # 2.

Catholic Voters: Fools No More # 2

Catholic Voters: Fools No More # 2
Sunday, Jan. 6, 2007--Thursday, Aug. 24, 2006
Let us learn from the past. It repeats itself.

In California, we have pathetic CINOPS like Fabian Nunez who are corrupted by trinkets like a two thousand dollar pair of shoes and San Francisco values.

What’s new this week (Aug. 24/06) with the CINOPS in California? Well, the Catholic-in-name-only Politicians in the California’s Democratic-controlled State Assembly just passed, with the CINOP vote, SB 1437. This law would alter K-12 public education textbooks, instructional materials, and school-sponsored activities to positively reference trans-sexuality, transvestitism, bisexuality, and homosexuality, including homosexual ‘marriage.’ SB 1437 now goes to the State Senate for a concurrence vote.

As a retired public school teacher, pro-life apologist and activist, this is an outrage. May I share with you later some of the thoughts going through my mind.

In his opening remarks, CINOP Democrat Fabian Nunez, the Assembly Speaker and the bill’s floor jockey, openly said the real purpose of SB 1437 is to OUTLAW TRADITIONAL PERSPECTIVES ON MARRIAGE AND FAMILY IN THE STATE SCHOOL SYSTEM. “The way you correct a wrong is by outlawing. ‘Cause if you don’t outlaw it, then people’s biases tend to take over and dominate the perspective and the point of view,” Nunez said.

And, in his close, Nunez admitted that SB 1437 will promote lesbianism to young girls. “If someone wants to teach kids in kindergarten that Jack and Jill ran up the hill, this bill doesn’t prohibit that. But it does say if somebody wants to say that if Jill and Jill ran up the hill and somehow that’s wrong – then this bill says that that is not acceptable.” said Nunez. (Info from prolife@crusadeforlife.org)

“We call upon Governor Schwarzenegger to keep his promise to veto SB 1437 which micromanages public schools by forcing them to promote a gaggle of sexual lifestyles that disturb parents and confuse kids,” said Randy Thomasson, president of Campaign for Children and Families, a leading statewide pro-family organization fighting against SB 1437 all year.(info fromccf01@savecalifornia.com )
(As the E-mail, I received, Aug .23rd from the CA. State Deputy, Knights of Columbus, Emilio B Moure, and in cooperation and guidance from the California Catholic Conference, please call the Governor’s automated opinion tracking system by calling (916) 445-2841 and pressing the number 2. Please ask your family members, friends, and neighbors to do this as well – this is a critical moment.)

The opponents of the bill had at least three significant comments. Republican Assemblymen Jay La Suer of San Diego, “This bill is a basically predatory bill that preys upon the innocence of children.” Dennis Mountjoy of Monrovia, “But you don’t care about the basics, you want to socially engineer our children.” Doug La Malfa of Redding, “Parents are sick and tired of this kind of stuff being pushed upon their kids in school.”…

Catholic Voters: Fools No More # 1

Catholic Voters: Fools No More # 1

Do study the mind of a political Catholic heretic. Sat., Jan. 5, 2008 –Sat., August, 19, 2006
Thanks to the following for their information: 1) Fr. Benedict Groeschel in a taped interview, S 109, Sept.2, 1995, How to Maintain Your Christian Identity, St. Joseph Radio, P.O. Box 2983, Orange, Ca. 92859. 2) Russell Shaw, Tension seen between Morals and Party Platforms, Our Sunday Visitor, p. 3, Aug. 20, 2006. 3) Brian Murphy, Heresies That Prevent a Culture of Life, http://www.godsplanforlife.org/ Heresies/Heresies.htm

Father Groeschel talks about the early Christian Church and the constant struggle by the Martyrs to strengthen the Christians against giving in to paganism. St. Ignatius of Antioch, who died in 107, wrote letters to the same people that Paul wrote telling the Christians and warning the Christians to stay away from pagan values. St. Cyprian & St. Irenaeus said the same thing.

In our society we worship many of the false gods, money, power, sexual pleasure and security. Thankfully Christians are not attracted to the paganism of the Nazis and Bolsheviks. However, a rabbi once said to Father Groeschel that the worse trouble the Jews ever had was with ex-Christian pagans. These were people who were baptized and some even went to Christian schools. The list includes Stalin, Lenin, Hitler (Catholic), Gobbles (Catholic) Goring and Khrushchev. The culture is bad when it is an obstacle to the gospel and the revelation of God. It is a difficult and worthy struggle to maintain our Christian identity with the many temptations of the false gods around us.

It would be a good idea to reread the Russell Shaw article a few times. In between the lines, he is trying to tell us something. The bottom line is that there is a very serious abyss between the party platforms of the two major parties in the U.S.A. The Catholic Democratic politicians are in conflict with the Church on values issues. Last February, 55 of the 73 Catholic Democrats in the House of Representatives signed a statement saying “the primacy of conscience” outweighs the moral teaching of the Church on abortion. (This reminds me of the letter that House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi of San Francisco wrote to the U.S. Bishops warning them that the ‘threat of withholding a sacrament will revive latent anti-Catholic prejudice.’ All of this is audacious by self-loathing Catholic politicians.)

Three prominent members of the hierarchy responded with a statement pointing out that conscience must be ‘consistent with fundamental moral principles.’ Abortion is wrong because it is ‘a grave violation of the most fundamental human right – the right to life.’ Also, with President Bush vetoing the Embryonic Stem Cell Research Bill, H.R. 810, the Catholic Senator Tom Harkin (D-Iowa) called Bush a ‘a moral Ayatollah’ for vetoing the bill. (There are at least 10 pro-abortion Catholic politicians in the Senate. I believe two of them are Republicans.)

Brian Murphy believes that the Church has always considered heresy to be a dangerous pervasive enemy capable of subverting the souls of the entire Church community. He sees three heresies from the world that have invaded and reached full bloom inside the Catholic Church.

The first heresy is appropriate for our consideration. It is the Primacy of Conscience Heresy.
This heresy says that every individual has the right, if not the complete obligation, to nullify, or change the moral law according to his conscience and to apply that change not only to his own life but to the public arena. The truth is that man is forbidden by God to nullify or change the moral law. Brian continues:

“God loves us and want man to have great freedom. However, he has mandated that man must not eat the fruit of the ‘Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil.’ Gen. 2:16. Man must not establish the moral law. If he does, history has proven over and over again that he gets it all messed up. So, man’s freedom under God’s plan for life has a definite limit. This limit is for our benefit, our survival and our prosperity…. God instructs us to allow him to use His infinite wisdom to establish the moral law.”

The pagan principles that we are focusing on are the absolute evils of abortion, same-sex marriage, assisted suicide, euthanasia and embryonic stem cell research. It is a tragedy to have a Catholic-in–name-only religion in America. Everything possible must be done to inform and vote these misguided Catholics, the CINOPS (Catholic in Name Only Politicians) out of office.

Do Mess with the Black Racist Abortion and Genocide Agenda - 1

Do Mess with the Black Racist Abortion and Genocide Agenda! - 1
Friday, January 4, 2008
“More than 44 million children have been killed by abortion – 15 million of them were black children. Abortion has become the number one killer of black people in this country – killing more African American that accidents, heart disease, stroke, crimes, HIV-Aids and all other deaths … COMBINED.

“What bothers me (National Black Pro-Life Union President Day Gardner) is we are very quick as a people to recognize racism everywhere else except the one place that truly affects all of us. Most blacks will agree that racism is still very much alive – YET SAY NOTHING WHEN ABORTION FACILITIES ARE PLACED PURPOSEFULLY IN MINORITY AND POOR COMMUNITIES. THIS IS NO ACCIDENT! MORE THAN 37% OF ALL ABORTIONS ARE PERFORMED ON BLACK WOMEN. LAST YEAR ALONE, MORE THAN 400,000 BLACK BABIES WERE KILLED BY ABORTION.

“We must realize that abortion is a multi-million dollar a year business that makes most of its money by killing our children. Abortion providers need us to make their blood money. If we as black people say no to abortion – the industry will cease to exist. We are the underground railroad of our time and it’s up to us to make abortion a thing of our historical past. If we stand united against this horrific practice… we shall overcome this, too.”

The above are excerpts from a Special Report of LifeNews.com – Tuesday Feb. 6, 2007 “We Shall Overcome … Abortion” Says National Black Pro-Life President.
The above statement was released: Washington, Feb. 6, 2007.

I checked out a blog on the Founder of Planned Parenthood, Margaret Sanger. (1883-1966) www.dianedew.com She is the founder of the largest abortion provider in the world. You will be shocked with her goals and comments. You can check out her racist remarks.
She was editor of The Birth Control Review from 1917 to 1938.
Her goal in life: Sanger admitted her entire life’s purpose was to promote birth control. An Autobiography, p. 194.
On the rights of the handicapped and mentally ill, and racial minorities: “More children from the fit, less from the unfit --- that is the chief aim of birth control.” Birth Control Review, May 1919, p. 12

Sanger espoused the thinking of eugenicists -- similar to Darwin’s “survival of the fittest” but related to the concept to human society, saying the generic makeup of the poor, and minorities, for example, was inferior. Pivot of Civilization by Margaret Sanger, 1922, p. 80
“The most merciful thing that a large family does to one of its infant members is to kill it.” Margaret Sanger, Women and the New Race (Eugenics Publ. Co., 1920, 1923)
Planned Parenthood Today - “We are not going to be an organization promoting celibacy or chastity.” Faye Wattleton, President, PPFA, L.A. Times, Oct. 17, 1986
