Dissent Catholic Profs are "grave" threat to Religious Liberty

Dissent Catholic Profs are ‘grave’ threat to Religious Liberty
In pursuit of the truth - cinops be gone - Friday, Nov. 30, 2012

By Patrick B. Craine, South Bend, Indiana, Nov. 23/12 (LifeSiteNews.com)

“Catholic professors and public officials who rebel from Church teaching on key issues such as abortion and marriage represent a “grave” threat to religious liberty. [They are also heretics to the “Catechism of the Catholic Church.”] “We have witnessed that some instructors who claim the moniker ‘Catholic’ are often the sources of teachings that conflict with, rather than explain and defend, Catholic teachings in the important public policy issues of the day,” said Archbishop Carlo Maria Vigano. “This, my brothers and sisters, is a grave and major problem that challenges the first freedom of religious liberty and the higher purpose of the human person.”

“In an address at the University of Notre Dame, the papal nuncio said the Church is weakened and thus “more easily persecuted” when she is divided by Catholic faithful who support “a major political party [with] intrinsic evils among its basic principles.”….

Now here is a serious example by Frank Bruni in the New York Times on March 19, 2012, titled, “Many Kinds of Catholics.” -- “American Catholics have been merrily ignoring the church’s official position on contraception for many years, often with the blessing of lower-level clerics. When my mother dutifully mentioned her I.U.D. during confession back in the 1970s, the parish priest told her that she really didn’t apologize or bring it up again. Which was a good thing, since she had no intention of doing away with it. Four kids were joy and aggravation enough.

“Despite church condemnation of abortion and same-sex marriage, American Catholics’ view on both don’t diverge that much from those of Americans in general. These Catholics look to the church not for exacting rules, but for a locus of their spirituality with rituals and an iconography that feel familiar and thus comfortable in matters religious, as in “Wizard of Oz,” there’s no place like home, and Catholicism is as much ethnicity as dogma something in the blood, and something in the bone. The Catholic hierarchy, meanwhile, keeps giving American Catholics fresh reason for rebellion.

“Because we all know that the statements and blessings of “lower-level clerics” should always take precedence over the teachings of the Church, articulated and expressed by popes, bishops, and faithful lower-level clerics. The surprise isn’t that there are Catholics, even priests, who deny Church teaching, the surprise is that we are expected to take each denial as a sign of vibrant, rich meaningful Catholicism, as if the greatest virtue ever demonstrated by a Catholic is to knowingly reject Catholic teaching and real virtue.”

For Bruni, being Catholic is about a feeling, a vague sense of comfort, and “something in the bones” - perhaps because so little is evidenced in the brain or the soul. His scowling, defiant piece is a perfect example of what Gregory means when he writes “The pullulating pluralism reinforces the relativizing impression that all religion can only be a matter of individual, subjective, and irrational personal preference… “It isn’t just a failure of faith, it is a complete failure to believe that truth can be known, found, grasped, considered, held, contemplated, love, and lived. In the words of Abp. Fulton Sheen.

“Minds no longer object to the Church, because of the way they think, but because of the way they live. They have no difficulty with the Creed, but with her Commandments; they remain outside her saving waters, not because they cannot accept the doctrine of Three Persons in One God, but because they cannot accept the moral of two persons in one flesh, not because infallibility is too complex, but the veto on Birth Control is too hard, not because the Eucharist is too sublime, but because Penance is too exacting. Briefly, the heresy of our day is not the heresy of thought, it is the heresy of action.” ….

2- The Presidency

2- The Presidency
Truth is our most powerful weapon. - cinops be gone - Wednesday, Nov. 28, 2012

The following is part 2 of 2 by William J. Murray’s commentary on the Presidency.

“Those voting for Romney, Johnson or Goode wanted less personal involvement with government, not more. As for the Tea Party, most Tea Party members would prefer to have their lives virtually invisible to government. People supporting themselves don’t want government involved in their lives. This is a huge contrast, and it is a contrast that divides the nation.

“Final analysis - The 2012 presidential election was not lost in 2012, but years earlier. As the welfare state grew, a tipping point was reached, I believe sometime during the 1990’s when the Republicans were firmly in charge of the Congress. The footprint of those who pay income tax was reduced. So many people did not pay income tax that it was no longer an important issue for the majority. In 2000, George W. Bush actually lost the popular vote by 543,816 votes.

“In 2004 he only won reelection because of the number of states, including Ohio, that had marriage protection acts or anti-gay marriage amendments up for a vote at the same time. Karl Rove, who knew Bush would be defeated without a strong social conservative vote, orchestrated the traditional marriage votes in swing states to help Bush win.

“The only GOP candidate with a hope of winning the 2012 election was populist Rick Santorum whom I supported. Santorum’s strong pro-life position along with his knowledge of the Islamist threat and known record of support for Israel could have helped him win. Running for office in Pennsylvania, Rick Santorum received a huge share of the Jewish vote.

“The GOP establishment and the big money men in the anti-tax movement hand Mitt Romney all the money he needed to beat Santorium and win the primary. A lot of that money going to the GOP this election cycle came from those opposed to the views that you and I hold dear. Billionaire brothers David and Charles Koch, who directed millions to anti-tax GOP candidates including Romney, support same-sex marriage. Both men also want to cut the military as a way to lower taxes.

“Is the nation as we know it lost? Social Security is the “third rail” of politics. It is a tremendously popular program not only with seniors but with their children as well. Social Security provides a safety net for the elderly but also reduces the burden on younger Americans to care for elderly parents. Unfortunately Social Security has become an excuse for many children to financially abandon their parents. This has harmed both the family and social fabric…

“Dependence on government gets extreme in some of these environments. In Manhattan, if a light bulb burns out in an apartment, the resident calls maintenance to replace it. However, in rural Georgia, if someone’s has a sewer problem he rents a backhoe and fixes it himself. These are two totally different views of the world….

“The worship of sex and violence by the media and by the public enfeebles the power of the church and synagogue. More people watch human bodies being nonchalantly dissected on TV crime shows each week than attend church. Yes, the tipping point has been passed, but it was not just the fiscal tipping point; it was tipping point as well. When government rather the family becomes the main provider, people see fewer practical reasons for morality. More adults live together without benefit of marriage. More children are born out of wedlock. More young men destroy their lives in homosexuality. Drug use destroys the will to work and the will to live….

“Hope does remain: That hope is in the promise of Jesus Christ and the Word of God. The Gospel changes lives and hearts and we must all work to win hearts at all levels… . We cannot surrender. The truth of the Gospel and the Biblical view of family must still be presented to the lost...."

George H. Kubeck, Pope Benedict XVI Prayer Intentions for Nov.: “That bishops, priests, and all ministers of the Gospel may bear the courageous witness of fidelity to the crucified and risen Lord.”

The Founder of Planned Parenthood & Racism

The Founder of Planned Parenthood & Racism
In pursuit of the truth - cinops be gone - Monday, Nov. 26, 2012

Preface: One excerpt from Elasah Drogin, T.O.P., Margaret Sanger - Father of Modern Society - 1879-1966 - Founder and Hero of Planned Parenthood, 1989,  Elasah* is a Jewish convert to Catholicism.

“The Genealogy of Racism: Margaret Sanger is responsible more than anyone else, for keeping alive international racism. She played the attractive hostess for racist thinkers all over the world. Organizing the First World Population Conference in Geneva in 1926, she invited Clarence C. Little, Edward A .East, Henry Pratt Fairchild, and Raymond Pearl - all infamous racists. p. 77-80

“In 1931 Sanger founded the Population Association of America with Fairchild as its head. Fairchild, formerly the secretary-treasurer of the American Eugenics Society and the leading academic racist of the decade, wrote the The Melting Pot Mistake which denigrated the Jews, referring to them as the inferior new immigrants who would threaten the native Nordic stock.

“Edward A. East, a firm believer in Black inferiority, persuaded Mrs. Sanger to gather information about her clients at her Maternity Research Clinic that went beyond medical histories. She agreed to include information about the nationality, heredity, and religion of the patients and to make a “judgment” regarding the amount of racial intermixture of the patient, “whether the person was more or less pure Black, mulatto, quadroon, etc.”

“Lothrop Stoddard was on Sanger’s board of directors for years. As previously mentioned, he had a personal interview with Adolph Hitler and was very impressed. His book, The Rising Tide of Color Against White World-Supremacy, was written while he served on Sanger’s board. Havelock Ellis, one of Sanger’s extra-marital lovers, reviewed this abominable book favorably in Birth Control Review.

“In the 20’s and 30’s Sanger fearlessly carried on with these racists, and many others, totally uninhibited. But when Adolph Hitler poisoned the air by politically carrying out her eugenics schemes, Mrs. Sanger and her crew made some changes. The term “birth control” had always been associated with eugenics, so the American Birth Control League changed its name to Planned Parenthood. The racist language changed with it. Such terms as “good or bad breeding stock” were changed to “class” and “income level.”

“Eugenics is identical to racism because both believe that there are innately, irreversibly inferior groups of human beings. Eugenicist-racist believe in the inequality of the races and that by selective breeding the inferior race can be improved - by “selective breeding” is meant that the inferior breeders of the population are somehow consistently eliminated….

“The majority of Americans are totally unaware of how deeply racism runs through our society today. This was demonstrated in a poll taken in Philadelphia in 1971 in which 69.2 percent of the people agreed that those with low I.Q. test scores should be sterilized. Planned Parenthood considers sterilization a cleansing operation, however, a few lucky people at the top - like Dr. Shockley - would no have to submit because their genes are already clean. These “clean genes” are confirmed, evidently, by the I.Q. test. Pass it or get sterilized….

“The Bigot-Tree:
Despite the greatest effort on the parts of the people involved in the birth/population control movements, past and present, to cover up their sin they have not succeeded. Margaret Sanger’s organization was poisoned with racism then it is today. Let’s take a look at the bigot-tree and how it grew. As early as 1925 the Rockefeller Foundation began funding the American Birth Control League under whose auspices entertained the world’s anti-Catholic, anti-Semitic and anti-Black racists - thus allowing the roots of the bigot-tree to get a stronghold in American soil. In 1942 Sanger shaped the tree to a more attractive appearance with the name “Planned Parenthood”….

The Presidency

The Presidency
In pursuit of the truth - cinops be gone - Sunday, Nov. 24, 2012

Preface: Here’s a perspective (Nov. 15/12) by William J. Murray # 1 of 2 which pro-life & marriage advocates need to study. Murray is Chairman of the Religious Freedom Coalition - (202) 742-8990

“I am sure that Mitt Romney loves this nation and he is an honorable man, but no one can win a national election on one issue. Romney talked only about economic issues. For months he campaigned on the fact that he would lower taxes and create jobs.

“Problem one: Only one out two households in the U.S. pays income taxes. A promise to lower the taxes of those who pay not taxes at all does not resonate. A few weeks before the election, Mitt Romney made this 47% remark at a fund raising event, and the media pounced on his “gaff”. It was not a gaff. Romney said that the 47% who paid nothing in and took lots out were not going to vote for him.

“His mistake was in not realizing that many in this group vote Republican for issues other than taxes. The 47% includes millions of very socially conservative seniors who are on social security after a life time of hard work, and who are concerned about the country their children and grandchildren are inheriting. It includes veterans angry about the weakening of our military and the attempt to force the homosexual agenda on our soldiers. It includes hard working couples who don’t make enough to pay taxes, but who care about the country’s moral collapse and the drift toward welfare dependency. Romney had virtually nothing to say about religious freedom, abortion, same-sex marriage, fighting the war on drugs, stopping illegal immigrants, or any social issue.

“Romney’s single issue “lower taxes and more jobs” strategy was not match for the millions of people who voted for Obama because of “what’s in it for me.” Some feared welfare payments would be cut or unemployment payment reduced by a Republican. Still others voted for Obama because they were promised more union jobs with higher pay. Most Obama voters had no interest in the “fiscal cliff” or the huge deficits, or the declining economic and military power of our nation. They voted for Obama’s race, his image and for their hope of personal gain.

“Barack Hussein Obama received millions of votes from people who have little command of the English language beyond that needed to shop at Walmart, and who have no concept of our form of government. Millions more cast their ballot for Obama for purely racial reasons.

“Blacks, Hispanics, and single mothers were the biggest voting blocks for Obama. What issues concerned these voting blocks? Continued: a) affirmative action in jobs and education for blacks and Hispanics, b) welfare payments without work, c) years of unemployment payments d) free medical services for children under the SCHIP program, e) free lunch programs at schools; Continued free day care services, f) expansion of the Food Stamp program, g) massive student loans..

“There are also power players who backed Obama and who donated generously to his campaign, but who are not among the takers. Those included various wealthy socialists such as George Soros, trade unions who want card check, various minorities who want special status, plus those who want legalization of same-sex marriage, or legalization of marijuana and other mind altering drugs.

“There was a common theme in issues for those who voted for Obama: “What is in this for me?” or, “what is in it for my agenda? With this single objective in mind, there is no need to understand the Constitution, basic economic principles or dangers of foreign entanglements. Aircraft carriers are not needed to deliver food stamps or welfare checks, so military strength is not an important issue…

George H. Kubeck, Congratulations to Obama! In less than 4 years he temporarily transformed America. It is a roadway to national economic destruction and a suicide of our American identity.

An Open Letter to Mitt Romney

An Open Letter to Mitt Romney
In pursuit of the truth - cinops be gone - Happy Thanksgiving, Thurs. Nov. 22, 2012
By Mark W. Hendrickson* in the Westminster Herald, California, Nov. 22, 2012

Dear Mitt,
I have awakened on November 7 to learn that your bid for the presidency was unsuccessful. In the midst of the disappointment that I share with you, I want to thank you for devoting years of your life to the wearisome task of running for president. Millions of Americans are grateful to you.

You have been one of my heroes for the past 48 years. I still recall vividly the valiant cross country race you ran at our Cranbrook Homecoming in October or 1964 - a race when you willed yourself to run faster than you ever had until, near the end, oxygen starvation set in, causing you first to stagger, then to collapse just thirty yards from the finish line.

I can still see your face, ashen and contorted in pain, as you ignored the torture of the cinders on the track scraping against soft skin and began crawl. Even though every other runner passed you, and you had nothing to gain - other than surcease of agony - from dragging yourself to the finish line, you refused to quit until your goal.

Your brave effort touched me deeply. That’s where I learned that you were special - a man of character, commitment, heart and guts, someone who embodied the indomitable American spirit.

I also admired your exuberance joie de vivre. You loved life, and I can see that your great capacity for love found abundantly happy fulfillment in your life with your wife and sons.

I also remember your friendship with Chester, our night watchman at Cranbrook. At prep school, there can be a tendency to disregard the support staff, to take them for granted like the furniture, but you reached out to that good, simple, kind, salt-of-the-earth security guard. (Just for the record, I befriended Chester, too, during my senior year, so I feel we share that bond.)

Nobody can doubt your love for your country. Whereas your opponent concentrated on lining up support from key special interest groups, your focus was more akin to the patriotic statesman than the opportunistic politician - it was so clear that you wanted to get our country back on track. As we can now see, that wasn’t to be.

What occurs to me is that, by losing the election, you might have been spared a cruel fate. If elected you would have inherited an economic mess… the looming fiscal cliff an d debt ceiling … Entitlement spending has mushroomed so that it - combined with interest on the nation’s debt - now consumes virtually every dollar of tax revenue… and everything in between, is being run on borrowed (or “punitively eased”) dollars.

No president could trim entitlement spending or shut down enough of the government to stanch the flood of red ink. Government indebtednesses will continue to balloon and our currency will continue to be debauched, … You might have tried by firing Ben Bernanke and replacing him with someone who would stop quantitative easing, but that would have caused interest rates to rise and the federal government to become insolvent, triggering a crisis that would have made you a vilified president.

The presidency at this juncture in history strikes me as an impossible job. Both domestic and foreign policy seem to be Gordian knots that no mere mortal can cut. I know, though, that you would have valiantly been willing to give your all in the attempt to help your country at this difficult time. Your path as president would have been as excruciating as those last 30 yards of that cross country race you ran so long ago, but you would have addressed the challenge with the same determination and commitment as you did then…You gave years of your life for the chance to be of service to your country, Mitt, and you lived by our school motto, “Aim High.” You did us proud.

Agendas for Pro-Life Meetings

Agendas for Pro-Life Meetings
In pursuit of the truth - cinops be gone - Monday, Nov. 19, 2012
By pro-life, I also include pro-marriage and family.

“But the Lord sits enthroned forever. He has set up his throne for judgment; he will judge the world with justice, he will judge the peoples with his truth.” Today’s Liturgy of the Hours - Let’s have some plain talk and tough love!

1. A negative presidential campaign which included lying and smear attacks was successful in winning the presidency of the United States. It was particularly successful with young voters under thirty years of age. It failed with older voters. The problem is that the younger voters made it possible for the passage of same-sex marriage in four States on Nov. 6th.

Everything possible must be done by pro-life to stop same-sex marriage in any state of the union and in California. Let us share some ideas on what needs to be done!

2. Even if we had an ideal Catholic as the nominee for President, we would have lost in California and states similar to California with a large Catholic population. We would also have reelected the CINOP, What does this tell us of the mindset of Catholic Bishops and clergy leadership in these States? Are they responsible for the reelection of the CINOP in their diocese?

3. The New York Times and L.A. Times are to America what the Catholic Colleges and Universities and Catholic magazines like America, Commonweal, and National Catholic Reporter are to the authentic Catholic Church in America. I mean the Catechism of the Catholic Church. What am I really trying to say with the following reality hitting my face. “While most Catholic colleges and universities REMAINED SILENT about federal threats to religious freedom CNS (Cardinal Newman Society) stood with the bishops and faithful Catholic colleges to oppose the HHS “contraceptive mandate.” [From the Desk of Patrick J. Reilly, President, November 6, 2012]

I hate to see a presidential election won by the unelected news media. They did it in this election and in past elections. Please check out again the book by Tim Groseclose, “Left Turn” How Liberal Media Bias Distorts The American Mind. There are few articles posted on this blog.

4. There is a collapse and betrayal by the elite in our country with respect to common sense and the values of traditional America. And among Catholics a total lack of leadership in the public arena. They are afraid to be called bigots on marriage between one dad and one woman with children. This secular religion of toleration and change of fundamental beliefs is sickening.

5. Catholic writers and official newspapers of the Roman Catholic dioceses failed to educate and inform Catholic readers on fundamental issues involved in this 2012 presidential election campaign. I will give you two headline examples: a) Our Sunday Visitor, Oct. 28, 2012 a good article by Russell Shaw. The Headline of the story was: “Pro-life and social justice Catholics increasingly at odds.” Whoever was responsible for the headline was a sympathizer for Barack Obama’s re-election? The so-called social justice Catholic politicians are for intrinsically absolutely abortion on demand, same-sex marriage, embryonic stem-cell research, etc. It is time to call a spade a spade. It is a painful scandal and disgrace to live another two years with Congresswoman Loretta Sanchez.

In like manner, check out Orange County Catholic- October 2012 issue with article by Father Gerald D. Coleman, S.J. Who titled that story as follows? “Election 2012: Mission Impossible?” This is an insult to the intelligence of informed Catholics! Also check out Spanish insert in that that edition titled, “Romney, Obama Demarcan Enfoque Diferentes Sobre Immigracion” Por Patricia Zapor, Catholic News Service.

We have a new bishop coming. I hope he makes changes so that Catholics in Orange County will be better informed and save marriage in California. Texas is a pro-life state and we can learn a lot from Texas. In the end, pro-life and family have to do it with some new ideas along a pathway of education and orthodoxy.

George H. Kubeck - If possible, set aside the first 3 Thursdays of each month from 9-10:15 AM. We meet at Chick-Fil-A Restaurant at the corner of the 605 Fwy. & Carson Blvd., Long Beach.

Bill Benett's 2011 Message* for America

Bill Bennett’s 2011 Message* for America
In pursuit of the truth - cinops be gone - Sunday, Nov. 18, 2012
“Knowing the Enemy, Speaking the Truth and Choosing to Win the War against Radical Islam”

“The defense of the West and America has long been too weak - in our schools as much as in our entertainment and from our own leaders. With a feeble sense of the Western self, is it any wonder that lost and thirsty youth looking for something firm in which to believe can be attracted to the strong message of Islam? We have seen this phenomenon growing in Europe and worry about it here in America.

“Having denied our children an understanding, knowledge and appreciation for our Western and American ethics and history (which includes the teachings of equality and liberty, equanimity, and charity), we have ended up where we are today.

“This failure, more than anything else, could prove the West’s undoing. In America, one can graduate from any of America’s top colleges and not take a single course in American history. Meanwhile, our political scientists and historians teach that our founding was racist or classist or elitist, at best. “You can’t assimilate with a nullity - which is what multiculturalism is,” said Mark Steyn. “So, if Islamist extremism is the genie you’ve trying to put back in the bottle, if doesn’t help to have smashed the bottle.”

“Indeed, we have smashed the bottle of national identity and proper and purposeful assimilation - in both the United States and Britain, as well other European nations. A great relearning is required if we are to endure and be safe.

“Historian David McCullough testified before Congress in 2005 that U.S. history is the “worst subject” in our nation’s classrooms. In the same hearing, U.S. Senator (and former secretary of education) Lamar Alexander cited the results of the National Assessment of Educational Progress. “Fewer students have just a basic understanding of American history than have a basic understanding of any other subject which we test,” he said, “including math, science and reading.” Our children’s grades are naturally as low as our national sense of self - the two are linked.

“Meanwhile, the uber ethic diversity replaces history with “social studies,” a feckless and disappointing substitute that, a Stanford professor William Damon noted, emphasizes “tolerance for non-Western cultures and criticism of our own.” While we criticize ourselves, we do not teach, he said, “about parts of the world that have not been blessed by freedom and democracy.”

“We do not teach “how women feel in cultures that keep them illiterate and disenfranchised, force them to wear smothering clothes or undergo involuntary genital surgery, punish them when they are raped, and threaten them with harm when their families cannot afford huge dowries. We do not contrast those societies “with societies where everyone gets to vote, protest, join unions, start businesses, marry and divorce at will, choose partners our of affection, not coercion, worship or not worship as they wish.”

“In short, we no longer teach, said Damon, “ a sense of how freedom has been won in some places and lost in others. How American rights were forged through suffering in Valley Forge and Selma; how utopian Russian dreams slipped away into tyranny; how German democracy was brought down by terrorism and divisiveness in the Weimar years; how Japan succumbed to its leaders’ militarism and expansionism.” And we do not teach the American role in reforming itself while fighting the various evils arrayed against us.

“We have made aliens in our country by alienating ourselves and our children from our history and our cause… That’s the cost of denigrating our own story. Said C.S. Lewis, “We laugh at honor and are shocked to find traitors in our midst. We castrate and bit the geldings be fruitful.” …*p. 143-146, The Fight for Our Lives, by William J. Bennett and Seith Leibsohn, Thomas Nelson, 2011

Pro-Life Leaders: Fight Abortion and Planned Parenthood

Pro-Life Leaders: Fight Abortion and Planned Parenthood
In pursuit of the truth - cinops be gone - Saturday, Nov. 17, 2012
http://www.lifenews.com/2012/11/07/pro-life-leaders-vow-we-will-not-give-up-fighting -…

“Now is not the time to give up, but instead, I hope I can count on you to join me in fighting the President’s radical pro-abortion agenda for the next four years,” said Marjorie Dannenfelser of the Susan B. Anthony List. “Together, we will win this fight. Don’t lose faith. Unborn children and women are counting on us.”

“The most pro-abortion President in our nation’s history was reelected. That’s bad news,” Dannenfelser added/ “The good news is that we have heroes in Congress - some long-time warriors and some just elected just tonight - who are willing to take him on and fight for unborn children and women. But they are going to need our help.”

“Americans United for Life Action president Charmaine Yoest said that the possible continuation of the pro-abortion federal policy of new re-elected President Obama, there are opportunities to stop abortion via state legislatures. [Sadly, not in sick California.]

“A pro-life majority being retained in the U.S. House also means that President Obama will not be able to force through his radical agenda without opposition,” she added. “At the same level, I believe we will see even more legislatures take back the life issue with model legislation and continue creative abortion limitation in light of Obama’s aggressive pushing of abortion on Americans. [Be informed, Obama is promoting abortion and homo. agenda in countries where we have an embassy.]

“Already, AUL has worked with ten states in passing legislation to opt out of permitting taxpayer-subsidized abortion coverage through Obamacare. And we predict that the courts are going to see an ever increasing number of lawsuits as Americans fight for 1st Amendment Rights…”

“Carol Tobias, head of the National Right to Life Committee also weight in with encouragement. Things didn’t turn out as well as we wanted, but it wasn’t for lack of trying. Pro-lifers all over the country did everything possible, going above and beyond the almost-unimaginable, putting their hearts and souls into this campaign,” she said. “ We will awaken each morning saddened at the future in store for our country, heart-broken at the thought of lost opportunities to saved unborn children from abortion, and the elderly and disabled from rationing of medical care…”

“I was one of those optimists who believed we could elect a pro-life president and maybe even a pro-life majority in place in the Senate,” Carol said. “We do not always understand why something happens, but we do know that we are in God’s hands.” [What does God want of us?]

“Frank Pavone, National Director of Priests for Life, added, “It is therefore time to recommit ourselves to the basics” a clear proclamation of the truth, an uncompromising fidelity to our principles, and an unwavering commitment to civil disobedience.

“Meanwhile, the national pro-life groups have done outstanding work in this years election, with initiatives, creativity, and energy as great as I have seen, and there is no doubt that the election results would have been far worse without that activity.” Pavone said. “The pro-life cause will prevail in America. In the election of 2014, we will work for a pro-life Senate majority to further blunt the ability of President Obama to damage the cause of life. We will continue the cultural progress that is so clearly on the side of life, as more minds and hearts embrace the unborn, as more abortion mills close, and as more women and men speak up how abortion harmed them.”…

“Human Life International President Father Sheanan J. Boquet is calling on pro-lifers around the world to stay vigilant, to pray, and not to give up hope….”

George H. Kubeck, Please support all of the above organizations. Also set aside the first 3 Thursdays of each month from 9-10:15 A.M. We meet at Chick-Fil-A Restaurant at the corner of the 605 Freeway & Carson Blvd., Long Beach. Info will be forthcoming. Pass on for those who can attend.

Understanding Obama's Benghazi-Gate

Understanding Obama’s Benghazi-Gate
In pursuit of the truth - cinops be gone - Friday, Nov. 16, 2012

Preface: The influence of the President Obama in the Office of the Presidency is horrendous. Particularly his influence in persuading the young voters to vote for same-sex marriage. Now just like he wants us to change the definition of marriage, he wants us to change the definition of a radical Islamist. If the radical Islamist blows himself up or kills other human beings do not think of him as a terrorist. Islam is a religion of peace.

The book by William J. Bennett and Seith Leibson titled “The Fight of Our Lives,” explains it all. Why doesn’t Senator McCain refer to this book and why did he not do something about this matter three years ago? The following are excerpts from the book that explain the mindset of Obama and his regime.

1. In November 2009, the day after the Fort Hood Massacre, the president spoke from the White House, warning the American people about haste in assessing what had happened. “I would caution against jumping to conclusions until we have all the facts,” the president intoned. 75

2. In its eighty-six pages, not once does the report actually mention Hasan’s name. Instead he is referred to simply almost indeterminately, as “a gunman.” just like any other random perpetrator of homicide. 12 [This is an outright lie. Survivors of the massacre are suing the government today.]

3. In her testimony before Congress in February of 2009, Homeland Security secretary Janet Napolitano used the words terror and terrorism not once in her prepared opening remarks…

Later, discussing her vocabulary with the German magazine Der Spiegel, Napolitano said, “Although I did not use the word ‘terrorism,’ I referred to ‘man-caused disasters. That is perhaps only a nuance, but it demonstrates that we want to move away from the politics of fear toward a policy of being prepared for all risks that can occur.” … Does the phrase man-caused disaster truly conjure up the concept of a planted bomb or an airplane hijacking… We are threatened by evil intention, and the administration’s new focus removed both evil and intentionally, or at least heavily muted both. 73

4. But Wait! In April 2009, Secretary Napolitano and Homeland Security issued a public report titled “Rightwing Extremism: Current Economic and Political Climate Fueling Resurgence in Radicalization and Recruitment.” Radical Islam and Middle Eastern - and Asian-based terrorism were not mentioned as threats to America, but “groups opposed to abortion and immigration” in America were, as were returning veterans in the U.S. armed services. And they were labeled as potential organizers of “terrorist groups” or “lone wolf extremists.” 74

5. There was more terrorism in America at the end of 2009. On Christmas Day, Northwest Flight 253 headed into Detroit from the Netherlands as Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab, a Nigerian Muslim, tried to explode a bomb he carried aboard… alert Dutch passenger, Jasper Schuringa thankfully… pounced on Abdulmutallab as he was on fire, struggling to detonate the bomb…. 77

6. The Rand Corporation published a study on domestic terrorism and concluded that 2009, Obama’s first year in office, “saw an unprecedented surge in terrorism events on U.S. soil. The lead reported noted that “there have been 32 terrorism-related events on these shores since 9/11 and that 12 of them occurred in 2009.” 78 [The two-faced double-standard Pravda media did not inform us.]

7. Finally, recall Barack Obama’s statement that terrorism grows out of “poverty and ignorance, helplessness and despair.” Abdulmutallabe, for the record, was raised with “wealth, privilege and education.” We already knew this view was pure rot. Osama bin Laden was born a millionaire, and Yasser Arafat died one. Ayman al-Zawahiri is a physician. Nidal Hasan was an American-born and trained physician and officer in the army…. 77

Thanks to the Faith & Freedom Coalition Vote

Thanks to the Faith & Freedom Coalition Vote
In pursuit of the truth - cinops be gone - St. Albert the Great, Thurs., Nov. 15, 2012

http://www.lifenews.com/2012/11/07/poll-evangelical-turnout-increased-in-2012-over-20 … I contributed $110., this year to the Faith and Freedom Coalition.

New polling data from the Faith and Freedom Coalition, headed by pro-life advocate Ralph Reed, shows that the evangelical turnout was up in 2012 for Mitt Romney compared to the 2008 numbers for John McCain. The data makes it appear other reasons are behind the Romney loss to pro-abortion Pres. Barack Obama last night than a failure of social conservative voters to support him.

A national post-election survey commissioned by the Faith an Freedom Coalition last night found that the evangelicals vote increased in 2012 to a record 27% of the electorate and that white evangelicals voted roughly 78% for Mitt Romney to 21% for Barack Obama. This was the highest share of the vote in modern political history for evangelicals, Reed said.

“Evangelicals turned out in record numbers and voted as heavily for Mitt Romney yesterday as they did for George W. Bush in 2004,” Reed observed. “That is an astonishing outcome that few would have predicted even a few months ago. But Romney underperformed with younger voters and minorities and that in the end made the difference for Obama.

Catholic voters who regularly attend Mass broke for Romney to 32% for Obama. This represented a swing of 35% in the direction of the GOP since 2008. Romney also won white Catholics by a margin of 59% to 40%, a margin of 19 points among a group that historically has voted for the winner. Nevertheless, Obama narrowly won the Catholic vote driven largely by over-performing among Hispanic Catholics.

“Virtually the entire increase in Mitt Romney’s compared to John McCain’s in 2008 came because of higher turnout and higher support from evangelical voters,” said Glen Bolger, the pollster who conducted the survey.

“This election was a tale of two cities,” said Reed. “Evangelicals and faithful Catholics turned out in large numbers and voted overwhelmingly for religious liberty, the sanctity of life and marriage, and limited government. But younger voters and minorities turned out in even larger numbers than 2008 and delivered Obama to victory.

Reed added: “If the Republican Party wants to be competitive in national elections, it will have to nominate candidates who can appeal to young voters, women, Hispanics and other minorities. Otherwise, they will likely see more elections similar to the 2012 outcome. The good news for the GOP is many of those voters are conservative and people of faith.” The post-election survey was conducted by Public Opinion Strategies and interviewed 800 actual 2012 voters. The margin of error is plus/minus 3.46%.

Reed’s group predicted the heavy evangelical turnout before the election. The group made over 122 million voter contacts to evangelicals, faithful Catholics, and other voters of faith in key states. It had a voter education effort that included 23 million pieces of mail, 21 million get-out-the-vote calls, 18 million text messages and emails, and 30 million voter guides distributed in 117,000 churches.

George H. Kubeck, The bottom line is why we Catholics do not have a Faith and Freedom Coalition to inform Catholics and defeat CINOP candidates who support abortion, same-sex marriage, the HHS mandate etc. The CINOP must not be a sacred cow and an untouchable Catholic-label fraud.

Despite Attacks on Catholics, They Voted to Re-Elect Obama

Despite Attacks on Catholics, They Voted to Re-Elect Obama
In pursuit of the truth - cinops be gone - Wednesday, Nov. 14, 2012

http://www.lifenews.com/2012/11/07/despite-attacks-on-catholics-they-vote-to-elect-o

Despite a presidency that was based on attacks on Catholics, with aggressive promotion of abortion and attacks on religious liberty via the HHS mandate, President Barack Obama received the majority of Catholic votes on Tuesday.

Exit polling showed 25 percent of the electorate consisted of Catholic voters and they went for Obama by a 50-48 percentage point margin. Exit polls revealed that churchgoing Americans were more likely to vote for Romney and less frequent churchgoers sided with Obama. The results are not surprising given that a final Gallup poll showed Catholics favoring Obama 52 to 45 percent.

That makes appear Catholic Church leaders need to do more to engage nominal Catholics who do not attend religious services frequently and may be less disposed to the pro-life views and teachings of the Church.

“The collision course of the Obama Administration with the Catholic Church could have been averted yesterday, but now it is assured instead,” Father Frank Pavone of Priests for Life responded. “Many in Church leadership failed to connect the dots between personnel and policy. They prayed and preached against the HHS mandate, but they were silent about the election, and called the police to remove citizens who leafleted the Church parking lot trying to inform voters about where the candidates stood on this issue.”

“But Catholic advocate Deal Hudson says progress was made. Catholics, once again represented 25% of the national vote, with Catholics voting for Obama by 49%, and for Romney by 48%, which represents a 5% loss for Obama and a 3% gain for Republicans from 2008,” he noted. “We needed a bigger shift of Catholic voters. “We do not yet have the breakdown of religiously-active Catholic voters, but you can be sure it was close to 60% for Romney.”

“What held down the shift we needed? In our view, it is the growing influence of the Latino Catholic voter. Latinos represented 10% of the vote this year and went 69% for Obama, 30% for Romney,” he added. “We also could have used louder voices among our clergy and our bishops - fewer alphabetical voter guides and more insistence on the civilization issues at stake.”

“Bill Donohue of the Catholic League suggests more battles are forthcoming from a second Obama administration. “In 2007, Barack Obama told Planned Parenthood that the first thing he would do if elected president would be to sign the Freedom of Choice Act (FOCA). Because of opposition from many quarters, including the Catholic League, the bill never got to his desk. But it may now come back, and if it does it could mean that Catholics hospitals would be required to perform abortions lest they lose federal funding,” he told us.

“The fate of the Health and Human Services (HHS) mandate that would force Catholic non-profits to pay for abortion-inducing drugs is sure to reach the U.S. Supreme Court,” he said. “We can’t wait until FOCA and the HHS mandate are thrust upon us, so we need to act now.” Penny Nance of Concerned Women for America said pro-life Catholics need to do more voter outreach. “We are clearly a divided nation. Women of faith both Evangelical and Catholics voted their value but we did not have the conversation needed to convince our friends and neighbors,” she said…”

George H. Kubeck - It’s a tragedy how blind even Catholic leaders are to the scandal of the CINOP.

http://www.lifenews.com/failure-to-support-imperfect-pro-life-candidates-hur…

“Logic dictates that anyone who believes that life should be defended from the moment of conception would not only jump at the opportunity to promote the value of that life, but would be willing to do whatever it took to defeat the single most pro-abortion president ever elected, & help maintain a pro-life margin in the House of Representatives.

“This was the assumption I was working under as I began making telephone calls during the planning stages of several pro-life get-out-the-vote efforts in Florida. I believed then, as I do now that the greatest threat to the sanctity of life was the re-election of Barack Obama. What pro-lifer could disagree?

“I reached out to a Pastor who lives in Congressman Allen West’s district - I explained how close a race Colonel West was facing and that all efforts on his behalf would not only be greatly appreciated but were absolutely crucial. After several days of silence, this is part of the e-mail I received from this Pastor:

“I agree with Col West on most positions, but I’m not willing to volunteer my time to help anyone who is not 100% pro-life. The right to life is the most fundamental right without which all other rights are non-existent.”

“Allen West, a vocal advocate for the unborn was defeated last night by the narrowest of margins. The man who won was endorsed and heavily funded by Planned Parenthood and NARAL. He supports abortion on demand, without apology and for any reason. I wonder how that Pastor feels today. Knowing that his “purity” driven ideological inactivity may have placed another rabid pro-abort in Congress. How does he justify that?

“One of the ways he and many of his ilk may be justifying their incredibly irresponsible pro-life apathy is with the incessant Monday morning quarterbacking seen on social media today. From silly memes to outright bigoted comments about Mitt Romney, these ridiculously churlish individuals continue an ill-advised attempt of maintaining “purity” as a defense for their negligence.

“Because of “purity” they would not get involved in these elections, yet they now seem to have all of the answers for why the pro-life candidates lost. Which is puzzling because all they were capable of doing during the entire election cycle was snipe. The sat back during critical elections and sniped. The watched as the rest of us worked and they sniped. The listened to our pleas for help and they stood on the side-lines and sniped.

“What binds them is that they are all a part of a small, marginal fringe-segment of the pro-life movement who claim to be the most adamant defenders of life, but in fact do little else but raise funds to try and pass hopelessly impassable amendments to State Constitutions. They are just misguided; they have now become a liability to the cause of life who use up much-needed pro-life resources with no visible results.

“They’re selling crazy and the vast majority of us are just not buying. I have no patience for them, I am ashamed and embarrassed for them and pray they may find their way back. I pray that pro-lifers who gave of their time, their money, and themselves don’t feel brow-beaten by those who stood in our way. Give no time or credence to those who will continue to stand in the way of any meaningful pro-life defense during these next four years.”

Pro-Lifers Failed to Vote Pro-Life

Pro-Lifer Failed to Vote Pro-Life
In pursuit of the truth - cinops be gone - St. Frances Xavier Cabrini, Tues., Nov. 13, 2012

Preface: I am working on a letter titled, “Catholic Dioceses Re-Elect the CINOP.” It may begin as follows: SHOULD WE HAVE A PUNISHMENT one of shame, scandal, incompetence or resignation? A) They must cancel all so-called Catholic magazines like America, Commonweal and National Catholic Reporter. B) Require all Catholic clergy to listen to talk radio for one month like Rush Limbaugh [You may find out about the Watergate in Libya which is being covered up by the Obama regime and the Pravda news media.] or Dennis Prager. C) Require the purchase of Prager’s book, “Still the Best Hope” and do a book report on it. D) Require all clergy and those who work in the Diocese to read at least 199 letters of the 1600 posted on this blog and give a report.

Please read this very insightful letter: by Steven Erfelt [LifeNews.com] 11/8/12 - titled, “Exit Polling Data Shows Pro-Lifers Failed to Vote Pro-Life.” The following is the whole article:

“Exit polling data from Tuesday’s presidential election shows the pro-life movement may have itself to blame partly as pro-life voters failed to either show up to vote in the election or did not support pro-life candidate if they did.

“In May, Gallup reported that the percentage of Americans who identify themselves as supporting legalized abortion has dropped to a record low.

“The 41% of Americans who now identify themselves as “pro-choice” is down from 47% last July and is one percentage point below the previous record low in Gallup trends, recorded in May 2009,” the polling firm noted. On the other hand, 51 percent of Americans call themselves pro-life, one percentage point away from the record high.

“With 51-41 percentage-point pro-life split in the number of Americans who take a position on abortion, pro-life Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney should have had a greater percentage of the popular vote on Tuesday. President Barack Obama, who favors unlimited abortions throughout pregnancy, takes a position that very few Americans support.

“Despite the breakdown, exit polling data shows just 36 percent of voters who showed up to the polls took a pro-life position supporting making all or most abortions illegal while 59 percent took a pro-abortion position favoring keeping all or abortions legal.

“The disconnect in the numbers mean one of a number of things happened: a) pro-life voters did not turn out in the same numbers as abortion advocates, b) pro-life voters went to the polls and either voted for a third-party candidate* or did not vote in the presidential election, or c) pro-life voters supported the most pro-abortion president in history.

“Much of the response to the presidential election has revolved around how the Obama campaign did a much better job turning out his supporter than the Romney team. If that’s the case, and pro-life voters stayed home, they did the pro-life cause a terrible disservice and have potentially left unborn children without legal support for another 40 years if President Obama can continue packing the Supreme Court with abortion activist.

“If b) and c) are true, and pro-life voters either supported Obama or voted for another candidate and failed to support the nominee who had pledged to help overturn Roe, sign pro-life bills, de-fund abortion and Planned Parenthood, the pro-life movement needs to do a better job convincing these people how to truly vote pro-life.”

There is Good News and Bad News

In pursuit of the truth - cinops be gone - Veterans Day, Monday, Nov. 12, 2012

1. J.C. Penney Digs Deeper Sales Hole by Dana Mattioli and Karen Talley, Wall Street Journal, Saturday/Sunday, Nov. 10-11, 2012, B-l.

“J.C. Penney Co.’s sales last quarter went from bad to worse. The department-store chain, in the middle of a long and painful turnaround under former Apple Inc. retail executive RON JOHNSON, said its sales fell 27% in the three months ended Oct. 27, a sign the company continues to stumble as the key holiday-selling season approaches.

“The drop was worse than Wall Street analysts had feared, and shares in the Plano, Texas-based company fell as much as 10% on Friday before rebounding to finish down nearly 5% at $20.62 on the day.

“Penney’s sales over the first nine months of its fiscal year have fallen by $2.7 billion, nearly equivalent to the annual revenue of store chain SAKS Inc.

“Penney reported a third-quarter loss of $123 million, or 56 cents a share - narrower than the $143 million, or 56 cents a share - narrower than the $143 million a year earlier as the company cut costs and spent less on restructuring.

“Mr. Johnson, who joined Penney as CEO a year ago from Apple’s vaunted retail operations, said the company wouldn’t diverge from the strategy he laid out last January of sharply limited discounts in favor of broadly lower everyday prices….”

George H. Kubeck

What is remarkable about the above business story is that the informed and concerned American citizens have boycotted Penney since Mr. Johnson became CEO? This has been censored by the mainstream media. Thanks to American Family Association we are boycotting Penney because of their support for the homosexual agenda and same-sex marriage. AFA is a Christian organization promoting the biblical ethic of decency in American society with emphasis on moral issues that impact families. www.afa.net - E-mail randall@afa.net Why don’t Catholic leaders have such an organization? The good news with the boycott is that we are succeeding. I personally still have a suit purchased from Penney which I still have to wear. Also I tore up Penney’s $10. coupon. I shopped at Sears and got some good sweaters.

The message is that HOME DEPOT and STARBUCKS are promoting same-sex marriage. I understand HOME DEPOT got some credit in the passage of same-sex marriage in New York. McDonald’s changed their minds on same-sex marriage. HOME DEPOT and STARBUCKS must be boycotted.

2.) We have a national crisis with the reelection of President Barack Obama. The “Public Notice- 14 Days No-Emails” is revoked. I have already posted four letters on the blog which I have not e-mailed. A) Winning does not make it right. B) What is Secular Feminism? C) A Cult Presidency D) The Reality of an Economic Meltdown. Also, the election was God’s judgment on America, and the shock that Catholics voted 50% for Obama and 48% for Romney. Our country and its values are worth fighting for. Tragically, our president Barack Obama is using the bully pulpit in sowing bad seeds including same-sex marriage and its influence on our young people to change their minds.

The Reality of an Economic Meltdown

The Reality of an Economic Meltdown
In pursuit of the truth - cinops be gone - Monday, Nov. 12, 2012

“It took the government of the United States two centuries to rack up its first trillion dollars in debt. Now Washington piles up another trillion every nine months. Forward! If you add up the total debt -state, local, the works - every man woman and child in this country owes 200 grand (which is rather more than the average Greek does)…

“In 2009, the Democrats became the first government in the history of the planet to establish annual trillion-dollar deficits as a permanent feature of life….

“In the course of his first term, Obama increased the federal debt by just shy of $6 trillion and, in return, grew the economy by $905 billion. So as Lance Roberts at Street Talk Live pointed out, in order to generate every $1 of economic growth the United States had to borrow $5.60.…

“In order to avoid the public humiliation of failed bond auction, the U.S. Treasury sells 70 percent of the debt to the Federal Reserve- which is to say the left hand of the U.S. government is borrowing money from the right hand of the U.S government.

“It’s government as Nigerian email scam, with Ben Bernake playing the role of the dictator’s widow with $4 trillion under her bed that she’s willing to wire to Timmy Geithner as soon as he sends her his bank account details….

“Americans as a whole have joined the rest of the Western world in voting themselves a lifestyle they are not willing to earn… Alas, on Tuesday, the electorate opted to deter if for another four years. I doubt they’ll get that long.*

* Mark Steyn, Commentary, Orange County Register, Sunday, Nov. 11, 2012

“Chapman University demographer Joel Kotkin told Wall Street Journal earlier this year that demographic changes coupled with increasingly progressive policies drive out moderates and conservative from California’s middle class. He concluded, “increasingly the only ones fit to survive in California are the very rich and those who rely on government spending.”

“Welfare recipients “aren’t leaving,” Kotkin said, “Why would they?” They get much better in California or New York than if they go to Texas. In Texas the expectation is that people work.” California may be in the forefront of government dependency, but the nation is following the same trajectory….

“Nationally, in 2010 welfare spending increased 40 percent over two years. About 100 million people, nearly a third of the population, receive monthly aid from one or more of the 80-plus means-tested aid programs. Annual welfare spending soon will reach and unprecedented $1 trillion.

“The Senate Budget Committee found last year that the U.S. essentially spent $61,194 to support welfare programs per each household living below the poverty line, based on data from the Census.

“The U.S. is trending toward California. Welfare spending is at record highs nationally, but California accounts for 33 percent of the nation’s welfare recipients, although the state has 13 percent of the nation’s population…. A Reuters news agency headline last week announced: “Victory Puts Obama In Position To Expand Government’s Reach.”…^

A Cult Presidency

A Cult Presidency

Truth and Righteous - cinops be gone - St. Leo the Great, Saturday, Nov. 10, 2012

We never had one occupying the Office of the President. Americans highly respect the Office of the President. This cult occupier is a combination of charisma, Spirit of the World and the Twilight Zone For those who haven’t any religious belief system they are strongly influenced by this cult occupier e.g. homosexual agenda and same-sex marriage.

In many ways, this occupier was developed, propped up and protected by the unelected Pravda news media. Why Pravda? Because if he were a Conservative or a Republican he would have been impeached at least twice. I am thinking of “Fast and Furious” and “Benghazi-Gate” which the Pravda news media hesitates to investigate.

It was a very close election. The challenger was suddenly overwhelmed by the perpetual Chicago election organization. What happened? Well, voters over 30 years voted for the challenger and under thirty voter for the occupier. It seems that a huge majority of the unmarried women, Latinos and Blacks voted for the occupier.

The young ladies were persuaded by the war on women propaganda. You can check it out and see whether it is true or false campaign propaganda. Many of the Blacks voted for the occupier even if they themselves and their parents were unemployed or their families income was reduced by four thousand dollars since the occupier came into office in 2008. They voted for the occupier even if he was for abortion on demand and for same-sex marriage which they personally oppose. They were also blind to the fact that he was not our first Black president, but our first Black-White President. His mother was white.

The parents of our Latino voters come from foreign countries where the government, not private enterprise gives you things. The propaganda of the occupier for the last 4 years was where our government was giving out a lot of things. No jobs were really created by the policies of the occupier but food stamps, unemployment checks and even free telephones were dispatched and advertised on radio etc. And in desperation to keep the unemployment below eight percent, the number of people put on disability was almost the number that was created by the government. I believe it was about 5 million. What the occupier did was lower the requirements for lifetime disability payments. We borrow this money from China and it’s a great reelection scheme from the Chicago re-election machine.

The occupier wants to transform America and says he is a Christian. But his policies are not Christian. But then we have Catholic politicians all the way to the Vice-President who used the Catholic label for duping the voters and are getting away with murder. In California, we just re-elected so-called Catholic Congresspersons like Nancy Pelosi, Xavier Becerra, Linda and Loretta Sanchez, Lucille Roybal-Allard and Grace E. Napolitano. They go along with the cult occupier on sex-selection abortion, abortion on demand and payment for abortion as part of Obamacare.

These fake-Catholics also voted against conscience protection for doctors and healthcare workers or Catholic Charities. Should I mention the fact they were for FOCA? They support the occupier on the HHS mandate and his love for Planned Parenthood etc.

George H. Kubeck Consider the election as a judgment from God. The good we will support and the bad we must fight. They crossed the line on same-sex marriage. Stop making Catholic voters fools!

What is Secular Feminism?

What is Secular Feminism?
In pursuit of the truth - cinops be gone - Friday, Nov. 9, 2012

Excerpts from the book by Suzanne Venker and Phyllis Schlafly, “The Flipside of Feminism” in Books in Review in “New Oxford Review” Nov. 2012 by Anne Barbeau Gardiner

“The call feminism the “single worst thing that has happened to American women,” and support the charge with an array of contemporary research….Common sense tells us that love should precede sexual intercourse and that happiness for most women consists of being married and raising a family. But since feminism came to prominence, young women have been told to be promiscuous, to plan their lives around careers, and to use abortion freely. The results are in: sexual diseases and mental illnesses are epidemic, cohabitation is taking the place of marriage, and great numbers of women mourn their empty wombs. Yet feminists won’t admit failure. They keep insisting that the revolution isn’t finished….

“Venker and Schlafly reveal feminism to be “the most significant social movement of our time.” Although the majority of American women don’t want to be called “feminists,” elite feminists are entrenched in our universities , media, and government. The Schriver Report (2009) says we are living in a “women’s world” in traditional family is passe…. Marching in lockstep to the beat of the feminist party line; among them are Maria Shriver, Katie Couric, Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar, Hillary Clinton, Nancy Pelosi, Ruth Bader Ginsberg, and Ariana Huffington.

“Oh, but feminists are clever with words. They speak of women’s rights when they mean privileges, and reproductive health when they mean tax-funded abortions. They give the name women’s studies to centers of feminist indoctrination where students are transformed into Laputans..

“Feminist guest speakers like Jessica Valenti and Naomi World come to reinforce the party line, telling college girls that they can “feel free to sleep around” and “embrace their inner ‘slut.’”… Despite buzz-words like self-worth, validation, and empowerment, feminist advocate the kind of behavior that leads to sexual diseases, abortions, and depression. Schlafly and Venker call it a downright lie that women are “equipped to handle random sex,” citing studies showing that ninety-one percent of young women feel “used” after a hook-up.

“The authors explain that when feminists say a woman “should never depend on a man,” they mean that a woman should depend instead on Uncle Sam. In Hillary Clinton’s maxim, “it takes a village to raise a child,” the word village is code for government. [Voting for the Demo. Party.]

“Obama-care includes a marriage penalty of $2,000 - the added cost of insurance if a cohabiting couple marries. Schlafly and Venker shows feminists manipulate facts to advocate “absentee parenting.” So far majority of Americans rightly believe that one parent should stay home in their children’s early years… Feminists also create myths to support their agenda, for example that women are “victims of employment discrimination,” though equal pay for equal work has been the law since 1963.…

“Venker and Schlafly observe that the Violence Against Women Act, passed in 1994, has been “streaming, with-out accountability, nearly a billion dollars a year into the hands of feminists who use it to preach their anti-marriage and anti-male ideology, promote divorce, bias the family court system against men, lobby for feminist state laws, and engage in political advocacy.” It also finances the feminist indoctrination of law-enforcement personnel…

“There has been a catastrophic rise in teenage STDs; once rare, there are now nine million new cases each year. Elementary schools have sex-education classes that don’t allow the teachers to mention morality or self-control… they might deviate from the feminist doctrine of “a world without taboos.”

Winning does not make it right!

Winning does not make it Right!
In pursuit of the truth - cinops be gone - Thursday, Nov. 8th, 2012

1.) Let’s start with same-sex marriage on the ballot and winning in Maine and Maryland. How about redoing the definition of adultery and putting it on the ballot. “The left can make it legal, but they can never make it right.”

It reminds me of putting the ten commandments on the ballot. You can’t approve of them because it will hurt someone’s feelings and you will discriminate against them. “The Maryland initiative’s largest base of support came among voters under the age of 29, the Associated Press reported.”

Well you can blame that on a teaching profession which has lost its integrity to teach. What does that mean? In California proposition 32 failed to pass. It would have restored integrity to the public school teaching profession. How? You pay for your political and social agenda and I will pay for mine. But don’t force me to pay for yours as a requirement to be a public school teacher. But the union bosses know what is best for you as a teacher. Also, the CTA union poured money into trying to defeat proposition 8.

What is so disturbing is how President Obama has prostituted the Office of the Presidency during his office. How? “A National poll by the Wall Street Journal/NBC News in March, 2012 found 49% favored gay marriage, and 40% opposed it. In 2009, in the same poll found only 41% supported gay marriage, while 49% opposed it.”

2.) There is shock and sadness with the reelection of President Obama. But there are many lessons to be learned. [One of them is how to deal with the Chicago and Alynskyite type of smears, lies, money and the Pravda’s corrupt news media.]

To deal with your depression and tragedy for our nation, please turn to talk radio with Dennis Prager and Hugh Hewitt. They are on 870 KLAC from 9-Noon and 3 - 6 P.M. There is hope and there will be a turn-around. We have quality leaders including many minority leaders and historic American values, not Alinskyite waiting to be utilized and organizations to financially support.

3.) Americans have falsely associated the rich as being Republicans. That is an outrageous lie. “In an election that often focused on debates about class warfare, President Barack Obama was favored over multimillionaire businessman Mitt Romney in eight of the nation’s 10 wealthiest counties.” “In none of the richest counties was the margin of victory wider than in California’s Marin County, just north of San Francisco, where the president won by 74% to 23 percent, with all precincts reporting. In Marin, the average annual household income is $128,544.” [All of this reminds me of the industrialists in Germany in the 1930’s and their blind support of a certain demagogue.]

While we on the subject of the filthy rich, my mind turned to George Soros who hates traditional America and has put his money into schemes to destroy it. I notice that Colorado passed the legalization of marijuana. George is the scoundrel who started it in California and then to Arizona years. The filthy rich particularly the ones in Hollywood should be able to bankroll Planned Parenthood easily. We can’t borrow money from China to give to Planned Parenthood. MONEY WAS THE KEY INGREDIENT TO OBAMA’S WIN.

Public Notice - 14 Days No-Emails

In pursuit of the truth - cinops be gone - Tuesday, Nov. 6, 2012

Dear Reader, Thanks for putting up with the almost daily e-mails of the last five months. The presidential election will be decided today. I was motivated with a real fear of a re-elected Obama presidency. The purpose was to inform, educate and persuade you not to vote for Barack Obama and the CINOP. (Catholic-in-name-only politician.)

In an honest vote count, I expect a Romney victory in the Battle Ground States. Also, I wish each CINOP throughout the country to be voted out of office. Nevertheless, this education battle will go on. [In previous elections, I noticed that on Wednesday and Thursday of this week, the Los Angeles Times will provide local and national results in particular the Catholic vote in California.]

May I share with you a disturbing report from CV catholicvote.org - a project of Fidelis:
The result of a Pew Research Center poll done shortly before Labor Day:

1. Currently, 51% of Catholic registered voters support Obama or lean toward him, while 42% support Romney or lean toward him.

2. About half of Catholic voters (51%) say Barack Obama best reflects their views on social issues such as abortion and gay rights: 34% say Mitt Romney best reflects their views on these issues.

3. Here is the Presidential vote in 2008: Obama: 69,456,897 --- McCain: 59, 934, 814

4. Put another way, there were 129,391,711 votes caste for either Obama or John McCain. Thus: Since Catholics make up 27% of the total elections, it means that of the 129,391,711 Americans who voted in 2008, 34,935,761 were Catholics. About 54% voted for Obama.

5. Of those, roughly 18,865,311 voted for Barack Obama … the man Archbishop Charles Chaput had prophetically called “the most committed ‘abortion rights’ presidential candidate of either major party since the Roe v. Wade abortion decision in 1973.” Fewer than 16,000,000 voted for the man who, for the most part, agreed with the Church’s teaching on the sacredness and dignity of innocent human life. [Add this year, same-sex marriage, cloning, euthanasia, embryonic stem cell research.]

Understanding the Mindset of a Social Justice Catholic

A) On October 1, 1989, Cardinal Joseph Bernardin released this statement for Respect Life Sunday, a statement, “Deciding for Life.”

B) “Not all values, however, are of equal weight. Some are more fundamental than others. On this Respect Life Sunday, I wish to emphasize that no earthly value is more fundamental than human life itself. Human life is the condition for enjoying freedom and all other values. Consequently, if one must choose between protecting or serving lesser human values that depend upon life for their existence and life itself, human life must take precedence.”

C) But what has occurred within the Church for decades in Catholic education is that the seamless garment was used as if all of the following were equal: family wage, option for the poor, abortion, immigration, environment, climate change, abortion, war, death penalty, torture, etc. There is a big difference between prudential issues and issues that are intrinsically evil.

D) The CINOP is blind to Black racism. The Church is not focusing on that with respect to the CINOP. In the U.S.A., there are about 4,000 babies aborted each day, 1.5 million yearly. Thanks to Planned Parenthood and Associates, 1,600 Black babies are aborted daily. President Romney would defund Planned Parenthood. (about $400 million yearly). The CINOP supports Planned Parenthood.

The Case for Mitt Romney - President

The Case for Mitt Romney- President
In pursuit of the truth - cinops be gone - Monday, Nov. 5th, 2012

This is an insightful article by Rich Lowry in Time Magazine - Nov. 12, 2012

1.) He and running mate Paul Ryan are the candidates of change at a time when our future depends on it. The welfare state is in crisis around the Western world, especially in Europe but also here at home - acutely in such states as California and Illinois. It is creaking under dated assumptions, aging populations & the unavoidable truth … that you can’t spend money that you don’t have….

2.) For all his invocations of hope and change, President Obama has governed as the last President of the 20th century. He hasn’t reformed government, he has made it larger. His re-election campaign reeks of intellectual and policy exhaustion. He released a purported second-term agenda with more glossy pictures of him than text, just 14 days before the election. His campaign continually resorts to the small-minded and demagogic in defense of a manifestly inadequate status quo…

3.) The dirty secret is that Obama’s central fiscal initiative, a tax increase on the rich, would raise only $80 billion annually at a time of yearly $1 trillion deficits. Eventually funding current levels of government will mean broad based tax increases on the middle class….

4.) The President’s budget have failed to get any votes in the Senate for two years running. The health care entitlements, Medicare and Medicaid are the biggest drivers of the debt. Even Obama says Medicare is unsustainable on its current trajectory, Romney wants to block-grant Medicaid to the states so they can experiment to improve it….

5.) Of course, Romney also famously want to repeal Obamacare. The President’s signature health care program is a sprawling $2 trillion mess sold under false pretenses. The government’s own scorekeepers say it won’t control costs… The Lewin Group a respected health care consultancy says employers could dump million of people out of their health plans…

6.) Romney has talked about a free market alternative that would make it easier for people to own their own insurance. A tax credit for individuals to buy to their own insurance could cover tens of millions more people. Properly designed high risk pools could limit the problems of sick people unable to get coverage. Such a plan could achieve the same goal as Obamacare at a fraction of the expense while encouraging more innovations and cost control in the health care system…

7.) Romney promises a regime of regulatory restraint. His Evironmental Protection Agency, in particular, can be trusted not to interfere with the revolutionary oil and gas boom driven by fracking or to impose cap-and-trade system by administrative fiat….

8.) The President’s case for re-election has been weak, in keeping with the weakness of his record. Let’s stipulate that he inherited a punishing recession. But the argument that Bush’s policies “got us into this mess” (and extension, that Romney’s would do the same) is better partisanship than history. In 2007, years after the Bush tax cuts, the budget deficit was all of $161 billion. There is no plausible economic theory which tax cuts caused the housing bubble and subsequent financial crisis.

9.) The mantra that Obama saved us from another Great Depression rings hollow since the recession officially ended in June 2009, before any of his policies had a chance to take effect. He shot $800 billion on the stimulus and got nothing for it except some pleased spendthrift allies in Congress…. His green-energy program has been an expensive fizzle… The vaunted auto bailout, the second half of “the Joe Biden rallying cry “Osama Bin Laden is dead, GM is alive!” doesn’t bear much scrutiny. The GM bailout cost some $35 billion…. Foreign policy … the unraveling of Obama’s Mideast policy, punctuated by the debacle at Benghazi, Libya…. He embraced the basic legal architecture of George W. Bush’s war on terror as President after denouncing it for years…. The retirement of the President Obama is that it would improve the tone of our politics. Whatever his failings, Romney is unlikely to demonstrate the same high-handed contempt for the other party that Obama has, [a Chicago characteristic ] or the same shocking classlessness…. George H. LOVE GOD WITH ALL YOUR HEART
At St. Leo’s in Horton and St. Mary’s in Purcell, KS- 31st Sunday in Oct. 4

Jesus gives us the two great commandments in today’s Gospel. We are to love God with all that we have and are. Why? Because everything that we have is God’s gift to us. He has given us everything; so also must we respond to Him with all our love. Tuesday is the great Election Day. How do we relate the two great commandments to this?

It helps to remember that God gave us life and liberty so that we could make good decisions, and do good works during our brief journey in this world. Last Friday was All Souls Day. It reminds us that we cannot stay here. We must eventually move to another world. Then God will ask us for an accounting for all decisions, and for all our deeds.

God knows what is right, and He knows what is wrong. He designed the entire moral order. If we love God, then we will pursue the good in all that we do: in our choices, our decisions, deeds, the way we treat other people, and the way we live & value our Faith.

Keep thinking about voting. This is a serious moral responsibility. We vote in secrecy at the voting booth, but God knows how we vote. He holds us accountable for choosing good leaders, who live and govern by moral principles, who fear and honor God, who have a clear sense of the common good, and who are not swayed by fickle public opinion, self-interest, secularism and materialism.

Vote like it affects your eternal relationship with God, because it does. Our choices have consequences Archbishop Chaput, a good Kansan, said recently: “We are Catholics before we are Democrats, we are Catholics before we are Republican, and we are even Catholics before we are Americans.” If you love God with your full being, as Jesus states in today’ Gospel, then you will understand what Christ is saying.

Last week I was in Peoria, IL., helping give a clergy conference to 125 priests on the theme: “How to Preach God’s Plan for Marriage, Spousal Life and Family. The bishop there is Daniel Jenky, CSC. Here is what he is having read at all the Masses in his diocese this weekend: [The following are key excerpts:]

Dear Catholic Believers,

Since the foundation of the American Republic and the adoption of the Bill of Rights, I do not think there has ever been a time more threatening to our religious liberty than the present. Neither the president of the United States nor the current majority of the Federal Senate have been willing to even consider the Catholic community’s grave objections to those HHS mandates that would require all Catholic institutions, exempting only our church buildings, to fund abortion, sterilization, and artificial contraception. This assault upon our religious freedom is simply without precedent in the American political and legal system. Contrary to the guarantees embedded in the First Amendment, the HHS mandates attempt to now narrowly define and thereby drastically limit our traditional religious works. They grossly and intentionally intrude upon the deeply held moral convictions that have always guided our Catholic schools, hospitals, and other apostolic ministries…

I therefore call upon every practicing Catholic in this Diocese to vote. Be faithful to Christ and to your Catholic Faith. May God guide & protect His Holy Church, & may God bless America.

Most Reverend Daniel R. Jenky, CSC, Catholic Bishop of Peoria.

Win or Lose, Obamaism must go!

Win or Lose, Obamaism must go!

In pursuit of the truth - cinops be gone - Saturday, Nov. 3, 2012

1.) What is frightening is the ideal we once had of the Office of the Presidency. The ideal was spoiled by the presence of President Obama’s policies, Czars and lies in the White House. With his defeat, we will restore the respect the Office of the Presidency.

2.) Never again are we going to elect a liberal democrat Alinskyite community organizer with no business or executive experience. But it happened. Why?

3.) What is frightening in America is the existence of a Pravda news media mindset. They are not journalists. They just love liberal progressivism. It is their daily religion. They promote it. That is why they love Obama! They would have done the same thing for Hillary Clinton. They can influence at least 5% of the electorate and in a close election Obama wins. After the election, we need to talk and identify these public scoundrels. I call them the two-face-double-standard news media. Our nation can’t be secure with a “Pravda.”

This media sends out talking points and a narrative that covers for Obama. For example, what occurred in Libya is not discussed. So is the scandal of “Fast and Furious.”

4.) What is frightening is that in America, 40% of the population is conservative, 20% liberal and 40% independent or undecided. Except for Fox News, Talk Radio and Drudge Report etc. liberal propaganda is flooding the nation promoting abortion on demand as a women’s health issue and same-sex marriage, etc. This will not stand.

5.) What is frightening is that about 25% of Catholic voters in a CatholicVote.com poll, identify themselves as agreeing with the so-called social justice fake issues of Obama on abortion and same-sex marriage. That’s scandalous and heretical.

6.) What is frightening is what happened at the Ft. Hood Massacre. There was a military investigation and the influence of Obama on the military was to come up with a lie that the massacre was done by a “gunman,” and not by an American Islamic terrorist. What other fiendish influence has President Obama had on the military, particularly in the promotion of the gay agenda in the military and our national security in the world.

7.) What is frightening is the influence of President Obama and his lackeys in persuading Home Depot, Star Bucks and I understand Nordstrom in Washington State in supporting same-sex marriage. That is wrong. Penney’s support for s-s-marriage is leading that company into bankruptcy. I tore up their $10, coupon. I made some great purchases at Sears this morning.

8.) What is frightening about Obamaism is that during Barack’ presidency over 5 million jobs were created? But then about 5 million other people were put on disability. What he did was deliberately lower the requirement standards for disability. Then put all the people on the government dole for the rest of their lives as we borrow the money from China. Why? This keeps the unemployment figures under 8 %. We never have had a President with Obama’s mindset, hate the rich, class warfare, income redistribution etc.

9.) What is frightening are his deliberate policies to change the very soul and nature of an American. Government is big, citizen small. Obama is at war with traditional American values of private enterprise, freedom of religion and conscience. Check out his promotion of values like sexualityism.

Which direction in this Year of Faith?

Which Direction in this Year of Faith?
In pursuit of the truth - cinops be gone - Saturday, Nov. 3, 2012

Here is another classic from Ratzinger’s Co-Workers of the Truth - Oct. 31st meditation.

“What directions does a person choose for his existence if he has decided to tune the instrument of his life to the keynote of “faith”? This question is not an easy one to answer because it obviously reaches down to the deeper levels of human nature, to attributes that are not always visible on the surface but that penetrate and leave their imprint on the whole, yet without being anywhere measurable.

“All the important fundamental of human existence that go beyond our ordinary concern about the details of every day living can be understood if we ourselves make some small effort to enter into the movement from which they flow - whether it is a question of a great love, of the passion of the inventor, or of a renunciation required of those who devote their lives to a revolutionary idea; whether is a question of the attitude expressed in the smile of the Buddha or the faith of a Christian….

“We can explain what faith really means for any individual only by pointing to the lives of those who have lived it in its fullness: Francis of Assisi, Francis Xavier, Ignatius Loyola, Teresa of Avila, Therese of Lisieux, Vincent de Paul, John XXIII; in such persons, and basically only in them, can we come to know what kind of decision faith is.

“As we can see in the lives of such individuals faith is a kind of passion, or, more correctly, a love that seizes an individual and shows him the direction the must go, however fatiguing it may be - the spiritual equivalent, perhaps, of a mountain to climb, which to the ordinary Christian would seem foolish indeed but to one who has committed himself to the venture is clearly the only direction to take - a direction he would not exchange for any conceivably more comfortable one.”

George H. Kubeck,

P.S. “The existence of Jesus Christ and his message has introduced a new dynamic into humanity, and the Church is, as it were, nothing other than this dynamic, this beginning of humanity’s movement toward God… In the lives of the saints, this dynamic has reached exemplary proportions…. The fact that Nietzsche and Marx, all too often, replaced biblical readings evidences the rapidity with which a false purism avenges itself and is transformed into its opposite.

“The uniqueness of the Christ-event does not depreciate human life but rather gives it share in the power of his presence. In the great personages of faith from Polycarp to Maximilian Kolbe we have genuine example of what life in imitation of Christ really is - we see the challenge and the hope of such a life.

“Each of them is an exegesis of Jesus; in them he becomes concrete. Anyone who begins to consider the lives of the saints finds there an inexhaustible richness of histories that are more than homiletic models; the confirmation of the call of Christ through centuries full of blood and tears.

“Only when we have rediscovered the saints will we also rediscover the Church and in doing so will likewise rediscover the Lord himself as one who lived amid all the darkness, who will not die again, who will not leave us orphans.” Joseph Cardinal Ratzinger, Co-Workers of the Truth - Ignatius Press, San Francisco, 1992 Nov. 2nd Meditation.

The Fruits of Same-Sex Marriage

The Fruits of Same-Sex Marriage
Truth and Righteousness - cinops be gone - Friday, Nov. 2, 2012

Here is a Canadian story that will send cold chills and anger up your spine. Can it happen with the reelection of President Obama and the HHS Mandate? Definitely!

Campaign Life Coalition, Suite 300, 104 Bond St. Toronto, ON, CA M5B1X9 - Wednesday, October 31, 2012 - subscribe@campaignlifecoalition.com

IT’S WAR: CATHOLIC SCHOOLS TOLD THEY CAN’T TEACH ABORTION IS WRONG

On Wednesday, Ontario’s Minister of Education rocked Ontario taxpayers, sending shockwave across Canada, and even beyond our borders, with and announcement that can only be described as “totalitarian.”

Laurel Broten, Minister of Education told reporters that under its new anti-bullying law, Bill 13, The Accepting Schools Act, Catholic schools would no longer be permitted to teach that abortion is wrong!

A transcript of the remarks from Premier McGuinty’s office to LifeSiteNews.com quoted Minister Broten:

“We do not allow and we’re very clear with the passage of Bill 13 that Catholic teachings cannot be taught in our schools that violate human rights and which brings a lack of acceptance to participation in schools,” she said.

“I don’t think that there is a contrast or a conflict between choosing a Catholic education for your children and supporting a woman’s right to choose,” she added.

“Asked for clarification she said again: “Bill 13 has in it a clear indication of ensuring that our schools are safe, accepting places for all students. That includes LGBTQ students. That includes young girls in our school. Bill 13 is about tackling misogyny, taking away a woman’s right to choose could arguably be one of the most misogynistic actions that one could take.” …

Already Toronto Cardinal Thomas Collins has affirmed that Catholic schools are protected by Section 93 of the Canadian Constitution…

In another article from LifeSiteNews.com, Minneapolis, Oct. 12, 2012, titled, Canadian Ottawa Archbishop Terrence Prendergast began his address to St. Thomas University Law School on Monday, October 8th as he warns U.S. of dire consequences of gay “marriage.”

“You are summoned to a tribunal where you cannot have a defense lawyer and you cannot record the proceedings nor have a witness present. The people judging and prosecuting you have no legal qualifications. The accusation is ambiguous, having to do with ideas the state does not like. The penalties could include fines equal to several thousands of dollars, public recanting, and rehabilitation classes. Your are a bishop. This is not China. This is Canada. The offense: explaining why homosexual relations are a sin.”… Enumerating the “consequences of same-sex marriage and related sexual licenses are already manifesting themselves,” the Archbishop noted. -restrictions on freedoms; forced sex education; sexually confused children; sexual experimentation among children; muzzling and debilitating the Church; more births out of wedlock; more vito ; more abortions, poverty, misery, disease, addictions and higher health care costs…

George H. Kubeck, How did all of this come about in Canada? Briefly, Catholic label liberal politicians in Canada passed same-sex marriage in July 2005 and the Canadian bishops did not excommunicate them. The despicable CINOP Nancy Pelosi bribed Knights of Columbus legislators in Massachusetts … I have letters posted on this blog in 2007 and 2008.

Judi Brown and Russell Shaw

Judie Brown and Russell Shaw

Truth and righteousness - cinops be gone - Thursday, Nov. 1, 2012

1.) Pro-lifers can be naïve and idealistic. I recall delivering a hand delivered letter to the office of Congresswoman Loretta Sanchez on Lewis St. on May 4, 2001. Dear Loretta,

“It seems to me that the idea of a pro-abortion Catholic is about as ridiculous as Catholics for free choice or the pro-adultery Catholic sitting in the church pew.

Could we talk or communicate on this subject? Please share the three enclosures with your pastor or bishop?

I believe that the independent and informed Catholic laity prefers persuasion and dialogue on this subject rather than protest or teach-ins.” Maybe I am still naïve and idealistic.

2.) May I share with you excerpts of Judie Brown’s “For whom should I vote in the November 2012 election? This is from “Celebrate Life” issue Sept. - Oct. 2012. She is President of American Life League and my family supports her cause with $120, yearly.

a) “With regard to intrinsic human rights, there are four actions that are so intrinsically evil* that no Catholic can knowingly advocate for or promote them without imperiling his salvation: abortion, euthanasia, human embryonic stem cell research, and human cloning. They are non-negotiable.”

*JUDIE, IN THIS PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION YOU FORGOT EVIL SAME-SEX MARRIAGE!

b) “If your well-formed Catholic conscience tells you the third-party candidate is the best choice for the babies, the disabled, the elderly, and the inform, then that’s a pretty indication of what you should do in the voting booth on Election Day.” THIS IS A VERY CLOSE ELECTION, JUDIE, IN THE BATTLE GROUNDS STATES, A VOTE FOR A 3RD PARTY IS A VOTE FOR OBAMA!

What I fear is that George Soros will pour money into “Catholics United” which supports Obama With Your Message besides telling Catholic clergy to shut up about moral issues!

Please rescind your “For whom should I vote in the November 2012 election!”

3.) Now, let’s take a look at “Our Sunday Visitor” issue October 28, 2012 and the article by Russell Shaw who is a great Catholic writer. The headline was assuredly set up by Our Sunday Visitor titled, “Pro-Life and Social Justice Catholics increasingly at odds” - Pick-in-and-choose approach to Church teaching on each side appears to be at the heart of political divide.

Now we have issues that are intrinsically evil. Let’s repeat them again. Cloning, Euthanasia, Abortion, Embryonic Stem Cell Research and Same-Sex Marriage. This is the side of Pro-Life, Pro-Marriage and Pro-Family. Now what in the world are the prudential issues of Social Justice Catholics that we can hover over, argue or agree upon?

Now let’s review authentic Catholic Social Teaching: Are we on the same mind-level? Subsidiary, Solidarity and the Principle of Gratuity: Do you believe that the secular War on Poverty was a good thing for America? No! It killed the Black American family.

Now let’s talk about the Welfare Reform Bill that was signed by President Clinton.

It was a great success. Sadly, the American Catholic Church, so-called Catholic social justice group opposed and fought the Welfare Reform Bill for years. It was a prudential issue and they were wrong.

There is also this so-called social justice Catholic liberation theology which our Popes have strongly opposed. Sadly, with Obama’s church of Jeremiah Wright, it has become energized into black liberation theology, a false religion. Catholic liberation theology is a waste of time for Catholics or anyone in our colleges and universities. It definitely may have screwed up Catholic voters in Venezuela. Enough said.

George H. Kubeck
