Some of the country's most respected and committed pro-life leaders have written a scathing, open letter to Iowa voters warning about Donald Trump's long-held pro-choice record just one week before voters head to caucus.
First, the leaders:
Executive Director Iowa Right to Life - Jenifer Bowen
Concerned Women for America Member and Iowa Volunteer - Denise Bubeck
Iowa Right to Life Director of Educational Outreach - Kendra Burger
Susan B. Anthony List President: Marjorie Dannenfelser
Iowa Pro-life activist - Christine Hurley
Concerned Women for America - Beverley La Haye
Former Congresswomen and Susan B Anthony List VP of Government Affairs - Marilyn Musgrave
Concerned Women for America President and CEO - Penny Nance
Urbancure Founder and President - Star Parker
Operation Outcry Iowa Leader - Luana Stotlenberg
The letter:
Dear Iowans,
As pro-life women leaders from Iowa and across the nation, we urge the Republican caucus-goers and voters to support anyone but Donald Trump. On the issue of defending unborn children and protecting women from the violence of abortion, Mr. Trump cannot be trusted and there is, thankfully an abundance of alternative candidates with proven records of pro-life leadership whom pro-life voters can support. We have come to this conclusion after having debates and news reports, but most importantly to Donald Trump's own words.
The next president will be responsible for as many as four nomination to the Supreme Court. Mr. Trump has given us only one indication about the type of judges he would appoint, and it does not well for those who would like to see the court overturn Roe vs. Wade. Mr. Trump has said his sister Judge Maryanne Trump Barry, who struck down the partial-birth ban New jersey, would be a phenomenal choice for the court.

Earlier this month, Mr. Trump also said he thought pro-choice Senator Scott Brown would make a very good Vice-President.
If one truly believes as we do, that abortion is the taking of an innocent life and is committed to the pro-life priorities of ending abortions after five months, and defending the nation's largest abortion business, Planned Parenthood, it would be a disaster to have a vice-president who disagrees.

Moreover as women, we are disgusted by Mr. Trump's treatment of individual women, in particular. He has impugned the dignity of women, most notably Megyn Kelly, he mocked and bullied Carly Fiorina, and has through years made disparaging public comments to and about many women.
Furthermore, Mr. Trump has profited from the exploitation of women. In his Atlantic City casino hotel which boasted of the first strip club casino in the country.

America will only be a great nation when we have leaders of strong character who will defend both unborn children and the dignity of women. We cannot trust Donald to do either. Therefore we urge our fellow citizens to support and alternative candidate.
Trump is currently neck-in-neck with pro-life candidate Ted Cruz in the Hawkeye State.

2016: AMERICA NEEDS A NEW KIND OF LEADER

2016: AMERICA NEEDS A NEW KIND OF LEADER
In pursuit of the truth - http://www.cinopsbegoneblogspot.com - Tuesday, Jan. 26, 2016
We need someone who can unite the country directly and is a role model for all Americans. In 1980 we had Ronald Reagan an ordinary man who became an extraordinary leader. We have one in 2016.  Let's find out what made Reagan so. The outstanding American-by-choice  Dinesh D'Souza wrote the book, "Ronald Reagan". Here are several excerpts.
"Let me briefly summarize my (Dinesh's) conclusions. Reagan's greatness derives in large part from the fact that he was a visionary - a conceptualizer who was able to see the world differently from the way it was. While others were obsessed and bewildered by the problems of the present, Reagan was focused on the future. This orientation gave Reagan an otherworldly quality that is often characteristic of great men.
"The source of Reagan's vision was his possession of what Edmund Burke termed moral imagination. He saw the world through the clear lens of right and wrong. This kind of knowledge came not from books but from within himself.
"Moreover, Reagan firmly believed that however prolonged the struggle, good eventually would prevail over evil. He was an apostle not so much of blind optimism as of hope. His hope had a religious root. Reagan was not a conventionally religious man, but he had a providential understanding of destiny - both his own and that of his country.
"It wasn't Reagan's philosophy or his ideas that were novel. They were grand ideas, but they were not uniquely his own. He derived them from lived experience of the founding principles of freedom and self-government. Reagan valued ideas to the degree that they were anchored in the firm tether of experience. He understood the moral power of the American ideal and saw how it could be realized most effectively in his time.
"To say, as even his allies do, that Reagan had "a few good ideas" is like calling Lincoln a single-issue politician. It is true that Lincoln focused both is presidential campaigns on one question, slavery, but great leaders view the entire landscape of events and detect which issues among many are absolutely decisive and lay bare the fundamental question of what is to be and American... Like Lincoln, Reagan had an unerring capacity to separate the things that matter from the things that are peripheral.
"Reagan understood Soviet communism with the same moral clarity that Lincoln had in understanding slavery. Both men were fundamentally motivated not by political calculation but by a basic sense of right or wrong. They approached evil with a pure childlike simplicity that sophisticated people take pride in having outgrown. Like Jimmy Steward in the film Mr. Smith Goes to Washington, Reagan never lost his innocence or his capacity to be outraged. Although his country-boy style was often seen as revealing Reagan's naivete, in fact he had a shrewd understanding of human nature, as a sharp political antenna, and he exploited the fact that he was consistently underrated by his adversaries....
"He didn't care what the soi-disant intellectuals at the Aspen Institute or the New York Times editorial page thought of him. He was truly rare in this respect.... Like most other successful leaders, Reagan used his rhetoric and his acting skills as part of his governing strategy.... He was a Great Communicator because he forcefully articulated the principles of liberty and equality that are at the core of what it means to be an American..."
George H. Kubeck,
"But where truth no longer exists, every standard can be altered; one can in fact, do exactly the opposite; renunciation of the truth is the real source of our present crisis." Cardinal  Jos.  Ratzinger
1) "Abortion Opponents indicted for video" Texas Grand Jury clears Planned Parenthood of wrongdoing. 2) Prager University - Larry Elder - President Barack Obama claims that racism is part of the DNA of being an American. What an insult from this so-called Black American! His mother was white and his father an African Negro. Your policies, Barack, are based on lies and political correctness. 3) The silence of Santorium and Huckabee is deafening. They won the last two times in Iowa. As establishment Republican Presidential candidates they are afraid to support an authentic Black American Ben Carson, the outside candidate. The special interests and the media don't want a Godly man like Ben Carson. God willing, pray for a big surprise in Iowa.
P.S. THE CATHOLIC VOTE IN AMERICA WILL VOTE HEAVILY IN OPPOSITION TO ANY DONALD TRUMP PRESIDENCY!

ASSESSING THE STATE OF OBAMA!

 ASSESSING THE STATE OF OBAMA!
In pursuit of the truth - http://www.cinopsbegoneblogspot.com - Martin L King Day, Jan. 18/16Thanks John Besser of Laguna Niguel for his letter to Orange County Register, Sun. Jan. 17/16:

After Tuesday's State of the Union address, some are convinced that President Obama is out of touch with reality. An explanation can be found in his book, "The Audacity of Hope."
The President has no passion for the truth. In his words, what really counts is positioning: taking the stance the press folks have constructed for him, & effectively selling this position on TV.
From pages 127 and 128:
"Today's politician understands ... that there is no great reward in store for those who speak the truth, particularly when the truth may be complicated. The truth may cause consternation; the truth will be attacked; the media wont have the patience to sort out all the facts and so the public may not know the difference between truth and falsehood."

"What comes to matter then is positioning - the statement on an issue that will avoid controversy or generate needed publicity, the stance that will fit both the image his press folks have constructed for him and one of the narrative boxes the media has generated for politics in general."

"The politician may still, as a matter of personal integrity, insist on telling the truth as he sees it. But he does so knowing that whether he believes in his positions matters less than whether he looks like he believes; that straight talk counts less than whether it sounds straight on TV."

"Furthermore, if we can't agree on an issue, the one who speaks the loudest and most obstinately wins."

"The absence of even rough agreement on the facts put every opinion on equal footing and therefore eliminates the basis for thoughtful compromise. It rewards what those who are right, but those - like the White House press office - who can make their arguments most loudly, most frequently, most obstinately, and with the best backdrop."

It's unfortunate many didn't take time to read President Obama's book prior to voting for him."
George H. Kubeck

The lies and politics of Obamaism have no place in American society. The same can be said for the mainstream media. Only Ben Carson can flush it out and definitely win for traditional America in 2016.

On this day in January 18, 1782, the great orator and statesman, Daniel Webster, was born. In 1820, at the Bicentennial of the Pilgrims landing at Plymouth Rock, he gave now - classic assessment of their achievements: [Martin Luther King was a Christian.]

"Our ancestors established their system of government on morality and religious sentiment. Moral habits, they believed, cannot safely be trusted on any foundation than religious principle, or any government be secure which is not supported by moral habits... Whatever makes men good Christians, makes them good citizens." Harvey, Reminiscence, 393-94.

WHY A TRUMP,OR A CRUZ, OR A CARSON!

WHY A TRUMP OR A CRUZ OR A CARSON?

In pursuit of the truth - http://www.cinopsbegoneblogspot.com - Sunday,  Jan. 17, 2016
Answer # 1: President Obama's culture of death is at war with American Christian voters and the Constitution:
Answer # 2: Yuval Levin is the Hertog Fellow at the Ethics and Public Policy Center and editor of National Affairs. From his article in First Things, Feb. 2016, "The Perils of Religious Liberty."
"In our time, too, a season of intolerance has dawned. Over the fast few years, the Obama administration has actively worked to isolate, vilify, and intimidate opponents of abortion, for instance, making it increasingly difficult for them to run a business or operate in the public square in accordance with their convictions.
The Supreme Court, meanwhile, has declared the traditional understanding of marriage as anathema, [ 50 million had voted for traditional marriage.] and left wide open many vexing questions about the standing of individuals, groups, and institutions who continue to uphold that understanding. [THE DECISION BY ONE CATHOLIC-IN-NAME-ONLY SUPREME COURT JUSTICE.]
Major corporations have launched brazen attacks on communities seeking to carve out spaces on competing views on such questions. The key organs of popular culture have declared dissenting views on sexuality and marriage unfit for polite conversation, setting off occasional high profile witch hunts against dissenters and enabling an environment of intimidation well beyond those.
Prominent academics and civil liberties organizations have raised the prospect of stripping churches of their tax exemptions and pursuing litigation to require private companies to be led and staffed by people who pledge allegiance to the moral creed of the left.
Major newspapers have begun to put the phrase "religious freedom" in scare quotes, as if everybody understood that it is just a cover for bigotry abusing the sacred name of liberty...
Ever since nation's founding, if not since the dawn of the enlightenment, the liberal society has been at war with its own moral foundations, they argue. ...
Religious liberty has therefore become the foremost public priority of social conservatives, and the importance of that first freedom has taken center stage in our case to larger society....
Religious liberty is plainly essential for the endurance of our free society and for the protection of the rights and freedom of the many millions of Americans who dissent from the caustic Gnosticism that increasingly dominates our culture. The cultural revival we yearn for is only imaginable if we fight now against the suppression of dissenting views on moral questions. ...
The legal arena is where the case for religious liberty seems most straightforward and securely rooted. The First Amendment to the Constitution declares that "Congress shall make no laws respecting the establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof." These sixteen glorious words make for a sword, a shield, and like a banner for today's beleaguered believers. They seem to safeguard the right of every American to live by his convictions. But let us consider what they really demand, an and on what grounds..."
George H. Kubeck,

The culture of death onslaught is a national secular religion which should be brought to the Supreme Court that the establishment of this secular religion is unconstitutional.
Furthermore, it would be wise for all pro-life, marriage and family supporters take a second look at Ben Carson for the Presidency. He would unify the Republican party and the nation. Ben is an authentic black American, a respected common-sense solution minded conservative. We need a role model.

DOES THE TRUTH AND COMMON SENSE MATTER? CUBA

DOES THE TRUTH AND COMMON SENSE MATTER? CUBA
In pursuit of the truth - http://www.cinopsbegone.com - Wednesday, Jan. 6, 2016

Ref. Proof That Obama Was wrong About Cuba - by Mike Gonzalez, a senior fellow at the Heritage Foundation  - http://dailysignal.com/2015/12/21/proof-that-obama-was-wrong-about-cuba

These stirring words came in President Barack Obama's first inaugural address. "To those who cling to power through corruption and deceit and the silencing of dissent, know that you are on the wrong side of history, but that we will extend a hand if you are willing to unclench your fist." It has taken seven years to make clear they were utterly meaningless.

The right side of history is whatever side the president is on, and America's enemies don't need to stop punching dissidents with clenched fists to get a hug. Exhibit A to prove this, again, the little state of Cuba  90 miles from U.S. shores.

Antonio Rodiles, who is the leader of the Cuban democratic movement, was re-arrested for "disorderly conduct" on Sunday for speaking his mind in the open. Rodiles was just here last week in Washington, D.C. (he was interviewed by The Daily Signal), and had high-profile meetings with members of Congress and at the State Department.
Rodiles was just here last week in Washington, D.C. (he was interviewed by The Daily Signal, and had high-profile meetings with members of Congress and at the State Department.

Meanwhile, the country's dictator, Raul Castro, donned this military uniform for an unannounced TV appearance last Friday to denounce the United States & make more demands. Yes, demands.
Rodiles, and other pro-democracy activists, have said all along that Obama's decision to grant the Castro regime recognition a year ago would prove to be a costly mistake for CUBANS.

By extracting no conditions in exchange for relations, Obama has allowed Castro to act with impunity with his opponents. Cuban security personnel detain a member of the Ladies in White group after their weekly anti-government protest march, in Havana Sept. 13, 2015.

... Rodiles can physically attest, that he was beaten up during an arrest back in July.  According to dissidents, political detentions are  at a documented total of 7,686 thru the first 11 months of this year, set to break the worst year on record: 2014, with 8,899 arrests.
It's a message Rodiles took to Congress last week in meetings with Reps. Alex Mooney, R. W.Va; Ileana Ros-Lehtinen, R- Fla; Mario Diaz-Balart, R-Fla; and Carlos Curbelo, R-Fla. (All of Cuban origin) ... The meetings earned Rodiles more wrath from Castro regime. Back in Havana on Sunday, he attempted to march with a dissident group of about 60 after Mass, when he and others were rounded up and put into prison....

DOES TRUTH AND COMMON SENSE MATTER?
I have always viewed Fidel Castro as a true communist and a modern terrorist with a suit on, and never a New York Times George Washington type.  Castro has proven to be a political cancer to Mexico, Central America and South America. During the Cuban crisis with President Kennedy, Castro was prepared for the Cuban people to be destroyed for the sake of Soviet Communism.
Over the years, we could get rid of this Hitlerite via the Monroe Doctrine but the leftist mindset was unwilling to do it. Some believed that communism is what the Cuban people wanted and then most of these Cuban immigrants vote Republican. Today, Putin and Castro are of one mind.
In America, there is a yearning for truth and common sense in the political arena. Political correctness is unnatural, devious and promotes a secular news media agenda. And the news media is two faced, double standard and dishonest when reporting on conservative issues and candidates. As I have stated before, today's news media is to leftism and  progressivism in America what Pravda was to communism in Communist Russia. Hillary want us to change our religion on marriage. However, there is hope for America. In a brokered Republican Presidential Convention, Ben Carson is the unity candidate for the Republican party and the nation. May truth and common sense be restored and win. I am fed up with corruption and lies.
George H. Kubeck
