Save our children! More than anything else, this election is about saving our children or killing our children.
Save our children! Many people in Germany supported Hitler for economic reasons even though, as his programs advanced, he put to death millions of Jewish people. He ended up wrecking the economy together with Germany.
How are we different if we vote for pro-abortion candidates for office? How can we help change our political and legal situation to protect innocent children and support a culture of life?
Save our children! When I speak to some so-called good Catholics, I am shocked that they are quite ready to vote for a pro-abortion candidate under almost any circumstances.
Save our children! How can a so-called good Catholic vote for a candidate that supports law that justify the killing of a child that survived a botched abortion? How can such a so-called good Catholic receive the Holy Eucharist?
In Chapter 10 of St. Paul’s first letter to the Corinthians, he state: “The cup of blessing that we bless, is it not a participation in the Blood of Christ? The bread that we break, is it not a participation in the body of Christ? … You cannot drink the cup of the Lord and also the cup of demons. You cannot partake of the table of the Lord and the table of demons.”
Save our children! Have some of our so-called good Catholics become so hardened against the Gospel of Life that they believe that other issues outweigh the Gospel of Life? Have some of our so-called good Catholics put politics ahead of the Fifth Commandment, in which God states: “Thou shalt not kill!”?
Save our children! I have no doubt that there may some so-called good Catholics who are reading this column and who may be really angry about now, I ask the question “Why would such a person be angry?” If we do good deed, then our conscience is at peace. If we do evil deed, then our conscience bothers us. …
Save our children! “If today you hear his voice, harden not your heart!”
Save our children! I have used this terminology again and again penetrate the defenses of anyone who in the past may have put personal, economic or political interests above the issue of saving our children…. Police and firemen always risk their lives to save human life. Why should we not risk our own reputation to save our children?
Save our so-called good Catholics who ignore Catholic moral principle when applied to our political life. Pray the family Rosary for our so-called good Catholics who could use your love and your charity.
Prayer is our protection: Let it also be a protection for our country. If you want to make Satan angry, pray the Rosary for the sake of Life.

I received a letter from the Supreme Knight, Carl A. Anderson urging Knights of Columbus members to support Proposition 8 on Marriage and Proposition 4 on Parental Notification. Barack Obama is opposed to Proposition 8 and 4 on the California ballot.
Now you may not have read the news item in The Washington Times, Monday, Sept. 1, 2008. What follows are excerpts of that article.
Obama’s abortion stance will be his downfall
In November, as we look back on the results of the 2008 presidential elections, I suspect that we’ll conclude that Aug. 16 was the day that Barack Obama lost the race.
At the Saddleback Civic Forum on the Presidency, evangelicals had their chance to meet Mr. Obama and to compare his brand of Christianity to theirs. When Mr. Obama said: “Jesus died for my sins, and {…} I am redeemed through him,” the evangelical audience was on the same page.
Pastor Rick Warren then posed his question about abortion – a pivotal issue for evangelical Christian and Catholic voters alike – this way: “At what point does a baby get human rights, in your view?” It was a question on how Mr. Obama’s faith would inform his conscience and his policy. The Illinois senator’s answer,
“ANSWERING THAT QUESTION WITH SPECIFICITY, YOU KNOW IS ABOVE MY
PAY GRADE.”
fell flat, both because it seemed to many people to be a casual answer to a very serious question, and because it simply did not connect with a Christian audience for whom it is an article of faith that God is the author of life.
Every member of the congregation sitting in the church could recite the familiar passage from Jeremiah 1:5 by heart. “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I dedicated you.” Or Psalm 139: “I formed you in your mother’s womb.” In fact, Mr. Warren quoted that psalm a day after the Saddleback Forum, shortly after saying “to just say ‘I don’t know” on the most divisive issue in America is not clear enough answer for me.”
… But Mr. Obama conspicuously declined to say abortion is wrong, saying simply, “I believe in Roe vs. Wade.” … He professed an interest in addressing the question, “how do we reduce the number of abortions?” But he made no effort to explain why they should be reduced, saying only that “there is a moral and ethical element to this issue.” …
But it is a scientific fact, not an “issue of faith,” that each human being’s life begins at conception. To suggest, as he did, that it is a more a matter of theology than biology was hardly the sympathetic attitude that this audience was looking for. Instead of connecting with them, he may well have alienated many of them.
The real question, posed precisely by Mr. Warren, is when “does a baby get human rights?” But even if there is disagreement over precisely when those rights should be recognized, can there really be recognized, can there really be any doubt when a baby is just weeks away from delivery? Why must late-term abortions remain free from restrictions?
Mr. Obama’s words at Saddle-back and actions as a legislator leave no doubt about where he stands. He opposed a partial-birth abortion bill that passed in the Senate by a 2-1 margin, and later criticized the Supreme Court for upholding the law. As an Illinois state senator, he was among a handful of legislators who oppose a state version of the “Born Alive Infants Protection Act” And he has promised that the first thing he’d do as president is sign the “Freedom of Choice Act,” eliminates all existing restrictions on abortion, including the Hyde Amendment’s ban on federal funding. …

As we note in our lead article, ENDA is one of the most threatening pieces of pro-homosexual legislation ever introduced on Capitol Hill. But the most disturbing aspect of the bill is not in its language.
It’s in a widely held notion that somehow this blatantly unconstitutional assault on the family and religious freedom will not actually do what it clearly promises it will do.
ENDA grants workplace protections that would enable homosexuals to bring down the full fury of the federal government on a supervisor, a colleague, or an entire company – essentially anyone who offends them for any reason at work.
It can’t happen, people tell me. It already is happening, I tell them.
In New Mexico, as we reported, the state Human Rights Commission punished a Christian photographer for declining to take pictures of a lesbian’s “commitment ceremony.” This Washington Watch mentions two other recent cases, but there are more:
In California, a state employee had to remove a “Marriage: One Man and One Woman” sticker because it violated his agency’s sexual harassment policy.
In Texas, a bank fired an employee who simply asked why the bank extended special workplace protections to homosexual colleagues.
In New York, a company fired an employee for refusing to participate in the company-sponsored “Coming Out Day” diversity celebration.
States and corporations already are granting homosexuals special rights – by stripping Christians of theirs. ENDA is already happening. Even so, the damage is still limited – FRC is fighting to keep it that way.
But imagine the nightmare when the full-scale federal government is unleached on America.
Homosexuals will have the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and other agencies flexing their enforcement muscles – muscles your tax dollars pay for, by the way behind them. All they have to do is complain.
In one swipe the radical homosexual agenda will become the law of the land.
Churches, religious schools, and other institutions will be forced to hire people who openly defy their core beliefs … or else.
Faith-base organizations will be forced to hire people whose behavior offends them … or else. (How long with it activists to target FRC and try to silence your voice that has been heard on Capitol Hill for 25 years.)
Every Christian in every office, factory, and store – YOU - will be forced to support behavior that is an affront to God … or else.
There are few threats to religious freedom more dangerous than ENDA, and the influential homosexual activists who helped liberals gain their congressional majorities are demanding action now. … VOTE PRO-LIFE!

I sincerely believe that they must be totally blind to the suicide and genocide of Black Americans since 1973. Of the 50 million abortions, 17 million of those are Black Americans. What’s so terrible about my pro-life sign which reads: LIFE: THE FIRST INALIENABLE RIGHT?
All across the country today, until Nov. 2nd we have 40 DAYS FOR LIFE campaign vigils at the abortion sites including PLANNED PARENTHOOD.
Of all the minorities, abortion has devastated Black families the most.

If counselors were not there since 1973, one-half more of today’s Black America would be dead by abortion.

HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES SET TO VOTE ON ‘HATE CRIMES’ GIVING HOMOSEXUALS SPECIAL RIGHTS: WHEN RIGHT AFTER THE ELECTION?
The U.S. House of Representatives will soon vote on HR 254, which establishes ‘hate crime’ legislation. HR 254 will create new special rights for homosexuals under the guise of enhancing law enforcement. It would make ‘sexual orientation’ a protected class alongside race, religion, and gender….
The intent of the law is to force the acceptance and approval of homosexuality on every American, regardless of their religious views. Here is a short summary:
1.) Preaching that homosexuality is a sin from the pulpit will result in the preacher being charged with “hate speech?”
2.) Churches will have their tax-exempt status revoked if they oppose homosexuality.
3.) Homosexual marriage will be legalized and recognized in all states.
4.) Polygamy will be legalized.
5.) Landlords will be forced to rent to homosexuals.
6.) Scouts, and all non-profit organizations, will be required to hire homosexuals as leaders.
7.) Biblical language used to define homosexuality will be considered “hate speech” City officials have already had a billboard removed in Long Island, NY, because it was classified as “hate speech.” The billboard read: “If a man also with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed and abomination.” Leviticus 20:13
8.) Employees will not be allowed to say anything negative about homosexuality in their workplaces.
9.) Classes promoting the homosexual lifestyle will be included in school curricula beginning with the lower grades.
10.) Employers will be forced to hire homosexuals.
11) Adoption by homosexuals will be legalized in every state.
