    Greetings! I read your article on the blog, "Why  I am running for Orange County Supervisor?" You and Nancy Pelosi have been on my mind for years. You call yourself, Catholic.

   
 Do you remember when Pope John Paul II visited the U.S.A. He brought with him two very important documents? "The Catechism of the Catholic Church," and the encyclical,  "The Gospel of Life."

    
This pope is now St. John Paul II. And like St. Pio of Pietrelcina, another one of our most recent and powerful saints. At this point in our lives, I would not want to contradict them. I' m 88 and you are much younger.

   
 When you were in office as a Catholic, you voted against the "Catechism of the Catholic Church" and for several absolute evils as follows:

1.) Stem Cell Research Enhancement Act- passage (110th)

2.) Marriage Amendment Act (109th)

3.) Child Interstate Abortion Notification Act (109th)

4.) Abortion in military medical facilities (109th)

5.) Coercive abortion/United Nations Fund (109th)

6.) Unborn Child Pain Awareness Act: passage (108th)

7.) Partial-Birth Abortion Ban: passage (108th)

8.) Unborn Victims of Violence Act (108th)

  
  You got elected because of Planned Parenthood, the Catholic Church's Elephant in the room (don't bring up any Catholic-in-name-only politician), and the Mainstream Media who just love "Catholic-in-name-only Politicians." St. John Paul talked about the "Culture of Death" fighting the "Culture of Life." Whose side are you on?

   
 What does it mean being Catholic to you?  According to Bishop Thomas Tobin, "Being a Catholic

means that you are part of the faith community that possesses a clear defined authority and doctrine, obligations and expectations on essential matters of faith and morals: that you belong to a local community, a parish: and you attend Mass on Sundays and receive the sacraments regularly: that you support the Church personally, publicly, spiritually and financially."

   
 At this point, Loretta, I think I can call you names. But you know the Democratic Motto: "Buy the Union Label." I am sorry for in many ways, you have betrayed the Catholic Label. If you win on March 12th, resign.

PREFACE:

"This week the U.S. Senate failed to pass the "Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act" )S. 311). This bill would have stopped the brutal killing of infants born alive after surviving an abortion. Despite knowing the horrific reality of infanticide, 44 senators voted against this life-protecting bill..." "This isn't a partisan issue, it is a matter of basic human rights." It is contrary to the Constitution.

Now let's listen to the wisdom of Joseph Cardinal Ratzinger's book, "Co-Workers of the Truth" - Meditations For the Every Day of the Year - Ignatius Press, San Francisco, 1990 - February 27th meditation.

"The freedom for truth and the freedom of truth ultimately cannot exist without recognition and reverence for the divine. Freedom from utaltitarianism can be grounded and can endure only when there is something over and above that which derives from possession and property of mankind, when there is the higher ownership and inalienable claim of the Godhead.

FIRST THINGS - INFANTICIDE BECOME JUSTIFIABLE BY WESLEY J. SMITH 2.6.19

 

"Infanticide was once "unthinkable." But over the last few decades, some of the world's foremost bio-thicists have considered baby killing worthy of respectable debate.

 

"Princeton University's Peter Singer is the most famous such advocate. A crass utilitarian, he argues that "being human" doesn't have any moral support. The question of value rather depends on whether an individual exhibits the cognitive traits of a "person" over time, such as self-awareness. In this view, some human beings are non-persons - an invidious category that includes the unborn, infants, the profoundly cognitively disabled, and those who have lost their personhood through illness or injury.

 

"Non-persons do not posses the right to life. In "Rethinking Life and Death, Singer explicitly compares human non-persons to mackerel:"Since neither the newborn infant nor a fish is a person, the wrongness of killing such beings is not as great as the wrongness of killing a person." He opines in Practical Ethics:

 

"When the death of a disabled infant will lead to the birth of another infant with better prospects of a happy life, the total amount of happiness will be greater if the disabled infant is killed. The loss of the happy life for the first infant is outweighed by the gain of a happier life for the second. Therefore, if  killing the hemophiliac infant has no adverse effect on others, it would, according to the total view , be right to kill him.

 

".... infanticide should be permitted under the same circumstances in which society permits the abortion of viable fetuses. Singer is far from alone in tying the morality of infanticide to the ethics of late-term abortion. Several years ago, the Journal of Medical Ethics published an infanticide advocacy piece asserting that whatever justifies abortion also supports the rights of parents to unwanted infants killed.

 

" In spite of the oxymoron in the expression, we propose to this practice "after birth abortion," rather than "infanticide", to emphasis that moral status of the individual killed is comparable with of of a fetus (on which "abortions" in the traditional sense are performed) rather that to that child. Therefore, we claim that killing a newborn could be ethically permissible in all the circumstances where abortion would be. Such circumstances include cases where the newborn has the potential to have an (at least) acceptable life, but the well-being of the family is at risk....

 

"The events of the last few weeks have moved the "Neuhaus Gauge" on infanticide from "debatable" to "justifiable" because it is now embraced within the political and cultural mainstream. New York recently legalized late-term abortion and repealed a law requiring doctors to care for babies who survive abortions. A similar Virginia proposal made the huge news but failed in committee. Rhode Island has a similar bill pending, supported by its governor. Meanwhile a Vermont Bill aims to make abortion an absolute right without any limitation as to time of gestation, purpose, or method. The bill has 91 co-sponsors....

 

"This isn't just a question of advocacy. Dutch doctors openly commit babies born with terminal conditions or serious disabilities. Indeed, infanticide has become socially acceptable that a bureaucratic checklist call the Gronigan Protocol exists to help doctors decide which babies can be killed. Despite allowing this blatant human rights violation, the country remains in good standing in the international community. Meanwhile in the United States Senate,  Democrats blocked a bill that would require medical professionals to provide care and treatment for babies born alive after abort attempts.

 

How is it that infanticide has become justifiable when it was unthinkable in the years following World War II (German doctors were hanged at Nuremberg for killing disabled babies.)....

"Communism's tools of destruction have included mass deportation, forced labor camps and police-state terror - a model established by Lenin and especially by his successor Joseph Stalin. It has been widely imitated. Though communism has killed huge numbers of people intentionally, even more of its victims have died from starvation as a result of its cruel projects of social engineering....

"But one thing was clear to them: Socialism could not resemble capitalism. The regime would replace private property with collective property, markets with planning, and "bourgeois" parliaments within "people's power." "Padre Pio's interior life - his prayer, his meditations, his communication with God and the invisible world - was the most important aspect of his existence. It dominated his life of action amidst daily affairs. For most of us, as far as our conscious experience is concerned, prayer is a one-way conversation.

"We trust that God hears our petitions, accept our praise and thanksgiving, and pardons our sins; but our senses do not perceive his response. For Padre Pio, prayer was often was an emphatically different kind of experience. God literally spoke to him, sometimes through a vision perceived through his organs of sight, but more often, through the "vision that is not seen" and the voice that is not heard.

"During his stay at Pietrelcina, Padre Pio wrote to Padre Benedetto, 'My ordinary way of praying is this: hardly do I begin to pray that at once I feel my soul begin to recollect in a peace and tranquility that I cannot express in words." He elaborated: "The senses remain suspended, with the exception of my hearing, which is sometimes is not suspended: yet usually this sense does not cause me trouble, and ... even if a great deal of noise were made around me, this would not bother me in the slightest."

"He speaks of a "continuous thought of God." Sometimes he feels "touched by the Lord ... in a way that is so vivid and sweet that most of time I am constrained to shed tears of sorrow for my infidelity and for the tender mercy of having a Father so loving, so good as to summon me thus to His Presence.

"He felt himself "enriched by supernatural graces." He felt an irresistible "spiritual devotion" of such a nature that he speaks of his soul being "totally lost in God." ... Other times, he experienced "an impulse so powerful that [he found himself] languishing for God, almost ready to die." He emphasized that "all this arises, not from my own mental efforts or preparation, but from an internal flame and from a love [poured into the soul from without] so powerful that if God did not quickly come to my aid, I would be consumed!"

"In other letter to Padre Benedetto the "internal flame" is described:"Hardly do I apply myself to pray than all at once I feel as if my heart were possessed by a flame of living love.... unlike any flame of this poor world. It ... consumes, but gives no pain. It is so sweet and delicious that the spirit finds great pleasure in it, and remains satiated in it in such a way that it does lose its desire. Oh, God! this is a thing of supreme wonder to me. Perhaps I will never come to understand it until I reach the heavenly country!"..." George H. Kubeck

    Dr. Taylor Marshall, a renowned U.S. theologian and scholar in St. Thomas' writings  who has been active in the current discussions on the abuse crisis, said that he studied Canon Law with regard to this topic. "I was sorely disappointed by the vague definitions therein with their vague [punitive] consequences for clergy. After purchasing a Latin edition of the 1917 Code of Canon Law and comparing it with the 1983 version, I was horrified to see how watered down the new Code has become on this topic," he explained.

   
 Marshall said that the Church needs to return to a more strict Canon Law in this regard so that it includes a clear punishment for bishops who cover up for abuser priests. Dr. Marshall said he signed the petition which asks the Holy See to 'return to the prior law of the Catholic Church regarding clerical derelicts against the Sixth Commandment."

Italian journalist Dr. Riccardo Cascioli - one of the co-sponsors of the petition - said he supported the petition "because we are clearly facing an attempt to instrumentalize the abuse scandal to promote a pro-gay agenda.""Since the start of La Nuova Bussola Quotidiana in 2012," he said, "we have been denouncing the gay loby in the Church that tries to change the Catholic doctrine.   # - "Antifa is a revolutionary Marxist/anarchist militia movement that seeks to bring down the United States by means of violence and intimidation. As a September 2017 report in The Atlantic notes, Antifa is responsible for "a level of sustained political street warfare not seen in the U.S.A. since 1960s"

The website ItsGoingDown.org, which serves as a newsblog for Antifa, says that "in the U.S., most [anti-fascist] activists are anarchist, although a few are Maoist or anti-state Marxists" - while "in other countries, the movement is predominately Marxist." The U.S. based anarchists of Antifa typically denounce not only the capitalist economic system, but the institution of government itself. And they explicitly advocate and encourage the use of violence to undermine and destroy both.

 

    "The organizer of ItsGoingDown.org notes that leftists in "the anarchist movement" are "excited" about "looking for alternatives outside of party structures." The "New York Times concurs that Anfifa's foot soldiers typically "express disdain for mainstream liberal politics, seeing it as inadequately muscular, and tend to fight the right through what they call 'direct actions' rather than relying on government authorities." In other words, traditional political processes are too mild to accomplish anything of consequences, violence is the only real answer.

 

  "At an August 27, 2017 rally in Berkely, California, a large group of Antifa Marxist and anarchists candidly gave voice to their desire to permanently wipe voice to their desire to permanently wipe the United States off the face of the earth. Upstate Antifa has also promoted violence against "fascism" via posters bearing slogans like "Fighting fascism is a social duty, not an antisocial crime," and "Fascism is not to be debated. "In a dramatic repudiation of any right to life for any child in the womb, The State of New York has repudiated its earlier ban on abortions after 24 weeks. and on Jan. 22nd, 2019 it put into law a measure allowing human abortions up to the moment of birth.The bill went much further than Roe V. Wade. Governor Cuomo, a Catholic signed the far-reaching bill that also struck down an existing law, section 4164 of NY's Public Health Law, which mandated medical care for any baby born alive during abortion.
