Excerpts from a 15 minute featured guest presentation on Dr. Ben Carson by John Philip Sousa IV:
"LIKE THE FOUNDING FATHERS, DR. BEN CARSON BELIEVES THAT HE SHOULD BE CALLED BY US, THE AMERICAN PEOPLE, BEFORE HE IS ENTITLED TO RUN AND SEEK THE REPUBLICAN NOMINATION FOR PRESIDENT IN 2016. THERE ARE THREE REASONS I ASK YOU TO JOIN WITH OVER 500,00 PETITION SIGNERS ASKING HIM TO RUN. (GO TO WWW.RUNBENRUN.ORG )
1. BEN CARSON WILL WIN. IN FACT, AS I WILL EXPLAIN, I REALLY THINK HE MAY BE THE ONLY PERSON WHO CAN DEFEAT HILLARY CLINTON IN 2016.
2. BEN CARSON WILL HEAL AMERICA. DR. CARSON IS UNIQUELY GIFTEED TO HEAL AMERICA, TO BRING US TOGETHER AS ONE PEOPLE. HE IS A UNITER, NOT A DIVIDER LIKE PRESIDENT OBAMA AND HILLARY CLINTON.
3. BEN CARSON IS A TRUE CONSERVATIVE. LOTS OF FOLKS CLAIM TO BE THE NEXT RONALD REAGAN AND TO BE TORCH BEARERS OF HIS LEGACY, BUT CARSON COMES THE CLOSEST OF ANY CANDIDATE TO FILLING THAT BILL. OF COURSE, NO ONE IS RONALD REAGAN, BUT DR. CARSON HAS PROVEN THAT HE WILL GENTLY, YET CONVINCINGLY, STAND UP FOR THE VALUES THAT MADE AMERICA GREAT.
Here's why I believe Ben Carson will win. During Herman Cain's campaign, his internal polls showed him getting 60% of the black vote. This number was so high they never released it, and used 40% instead. While Herman Cain is a gifted communicator and brilliant businessman, Presidential Medal of Honor winner, Dr. Ben Carson, is revered in the black community and he will not be running against the first black president. I would guess he will get more than 40% against a white Liberal; but, say that I'm wrong and Carson only gets 20% of the black vote against Hillary Clinton or any other Liberal that might end up with the Democratic nomination.... They would still lose all of the swing states and Ben Carson wins... His victory, by taking more than 20% of the black vote, would dismantle the Democratic coalition that was created in 1932 and that sustains the Democrats in power...
But how will President Ben Carson heal America?... Sadly, our President has pitted one group against another - black vs. white - young vs. old- employers vs. employees - men vs. women - simply for political gain... And Hillary Clinton is not different.... While President Obama and Hillary Clinton seek to make as many people as possible upon government assistance, Ben Carson wants to get them off welfare and into a job. Because he is Christian gentleman and a healer, Ben Carson will unite us as one people... Don't forget that it was the last non-politician who was elected President of the U.S.A., who unified Americans and ushered in an era of extended peace and prosperity.
Can you be sure that Ben Carson is a real conservative. Well, if you have read this latest book, "America the Beautiful", then you know the answer. Or, if you saw Dr. Carson speak at the National Prayer Breakfast, with the President and Vice President just a few feet away, you know of his courageous ability to speak the truth to power. Dr. Carson is ...a man of action...
1.) On the right-to-life issue he doesn't just mouth pro-life platitudes, but he saves babies, raises money for crisis pregnancy centers across the country, and defends his medical colleagues' refusal to kill babies by aborting them...
2.) At that National Prayer Breakfast, Dr. Carson said that his Bible tells him that proportionality is the fairest choice on taxes. He believes in a flat tax where everyone pays the same percentage, no matter how much or how little he makes.
3.) Regarding the budget, he said that he would cut the federal budget 10% each year across the board until it is in balance.
4.) He told the President that he would repeal ObamaCare and replace it with Health Savings Accounts that are owned and controlled by the individual citizen, not the government.
5.) Most important of all, Ben Carson is committed to restoring our Republic as one with a constitutional limited government.
6.) You and I know that our country is in real trouble. [Look what is happening in Baltimore, Maryland today.) ... We ignoring a national debt that could bankrupt our nation... Our President seems to have not respect for the rule of law or the Constitution.... Respect for the United States is at its lowest ebb in our history... we are being taken to the cleaners by (the leadership of) a corrupt Democratic Party...."
