Pope Benedict XVI on Peacemakers

Pope Benedict XVI on the Peacemakers
Truth and righteousness - cinops be gone - Monday, Dec. 24th, 2012

“The dinosaurs in the world are said to have become extinct because their development went in the wrong direction: plenty of armor plate and little brain, plenty of muscle and little sense. Are we not also about to develop in a wrong direction: plenty of technology but little soul: a thick armor plate of material expertise but an empty heart? dearth of the ability to perceive God’s voice in us, to recognize and acknowledge what is good and beautiful and true. Co-Workers of the Truth, Dec. 23rd.

True peace in the world requires end of abortion and gay ‘marriage.’ “Peacemakers are those who love, defend and promote life in its fullness,” said Pope Benedict XVI in his Message for World Day of Peace 2013.

The pope stated that “serious harm to justice and peace” comes from denying the true principles of respect for life and promotion of the “natural structure of marriage as the union of a man and a woman.” … pro-lifers are the ‘true peacemakers’ and those who support abortion promote a “false peace.”…

Along with principle of respect for life, the Holy Father spoke of the “need to acknowledge and promote the natural structure of marriage as the union of a man and woman in the face of attempts to make it juridical equivalent to radically different types of union; such attempts actually harm and help to destabilize marriage obscuring its specific nature & its indispensable role in society.

The pope noted these principles are “not truths of faith,” but inscribed in human nature itself, accessible to reason and thus common to all humanity.” Efforts to promote them, he said, “are all the more necessary the more these principles are denied or misunderstood, since this constitutes an offense against the truth of the human person, with serious harm to justice and peace.

“the dismantling of the dictatorship of relativism and of the supposition of a completely autonomous morality which precludes acknowledgement of the ineluctable natural moral law inscribed by God upon the conscious of every man and woman.”

“for legal systems and the administration of justice to recognize the right to involve the principle of conscientious objection in the face of the laws or government measures that offend against human dignity, such as abortion and euthanasia.” … “The right of individuals and communities to religious freedom.”

On the last point, the pope lamented the lack of religious freedom, even in Western nations. “Sadly, even in countries of long-standing Christian tradition, instances of religious intolerance are becoming more numerous, especially in relation to Christianity and those who simply wear identifying signs of their religion.” he stated.

Merry Christmas,

George H. Kubeck,

Truth is our most powerful weapon. There is a lot of work to be done in public education, and parish conversions. For example, join or start a local Co-Workers of the Truth Fellowship or Assembly and work on several of the following signs similar in size to life chains signs. They are 1) Life is the First Inalienable Right. 2) Abortion Hurts Women 3) Marriage, One Dad, One Mom, Children 4) Defend Religious Freedom, Conscience, 1st Amendment to the Constitution, Evil, HHS Mandate 5) Stop Black or Latino Racism, e.g. Stop Black Racism! - 1,000 Black Babies Are Killed Each Day Via Abortion - 365,000 Each Year - Stop the Genocide! 6) Vote Against Candidates & Issues That Hollywood & The News Media Support! - Common Sense.
