BEN CARSON ON ISSUES IN HIS OWN WORDS # 3

BEN CARSON ON ISSUES IN HIS OWN WORDS # 3
In pursuit of the truth - http://www.cinopsbegoneblogspot.com - Wednesday, December 31, 2014    Preface:
It was the end of the year, 1812, when John Quincy Adams penned these words in his diary: " I offer to a merciful God at the close of this year my humble tribute of gratitude for the blessings with which He has, in the course of it, favored me and those dear to me." His entry is for all of us.
CLASS WARFARE:
"Class warfare is an artificial division created for political advantage, and it should be rejected outright by the American people - for we have far too many real problems to devote energy to artificial ones." America the Beautiful, page 161
DEBT:
"To saddle the next generation with unimaginable debt is not only callous, it is morally reprehensible. How can we even live with ourselves knowing that we are eroding the standard of living of the next generations with each dollar that we add to the national debt."
"It is hard to believe that our leaders in both political parties do not understand that they are jeopardizing the financial future of the next generations by allowing continued debt  accumulation, even if they are slowing the rising of the debt." One Nation, page 73
EBOLA:
"I am not comfortable with the idea of bringing infected individuals into our midst when we can readily treat them elsewhere. We can happily receive them back once the infection danger has passed. When on does a logical benefit-to-risk analysis, it is clear that the worst things that could happen by intentionally bringing this dangerous disease to America are far worse than the best things that could happen." The Washington Times, October 9, 2014
EDUCATION:
"When we instill morals and values into the educational process for young people, however, we help them realize they have an obligation to become will educated and informed citizens, and to contribute to the system as opposed to draining it of its resources. Public prayer and discussion of common principles that strengthen society's moral fabric are essential to establishing an atmosphere of courtesy and decency. The renowned Noah Webster said, "Society requires that education of youth should be watched with the most scrupulous attention. Education, in a great measure, forms the moral characters of men, and morals are a basis of government."America, p.59
" Reading was emphasized so strongly among the early settlers of America that anyone finishing the second or third grade was completely literate, as is borne out in the absolutely beautiful prose that characterized the writing skills and letters received from the Western frontiers of America in the early 19th century." Washington Times, July 16, 2014
ENERGY INDEPENDENCE:
"Several administrations have talked about the importance of energy independence, yet we remain as dependent on foreign oil as we were years ago."
"It is estimated that the amount of oil in the Dakotas and Montana is eight times greater than the amount of oil in Saudi Arabia."
"I thoroughly believe that we have a duty to protect our environment not only for ourselves but for the next generations. However, we also have a duty to develop our economic potential and free ourselves of unnecessary stress and dependency on volatile foreign sources of energy. As a bonus, energy independence for us means decreased revenues for radical terrorist elements who aim to destroy our way of life. - One Nation, pages 149 & 150
"Expanding our wealth of energy resources, as well as encouraging development of new renewable energy resources can provide an enormous economic lift with obvious benefits, but it can also bolster our role as a formidable player in the struggle for world leadership." - Washington Times, March 26, 2014
Happy New Year,
GEORGE H. KUBECK
THANKS TO RACE AGITATORS, RACE RELATIONS IN AMERICA ARE AT AN ALL TIME LOW. OUR NATION MUST FOCUS IN ON THIS NATIONALPUBLIC GOOD AND THE WELFARE OF OUR AFRICAN-AMERICANS. THIS IS A TOP PRIORITY IN THIS 2016 PRESIDENTIAL ELECTIONS. THE DEMOCRATIC CONTROLLED CITIES WHERE MOST OF OUR AFRICAN-AMERICANS LIVE IN ARE  POLITICAL, SOCIAL, AND ECONOMIC DISASTERS. THE DEMOCRATIC POLICIES AND IDEAS JUST DON'T WORK. THEY ARE BANKRUPT AND DESTRUCTIVE IN BUILDING STRONG FAMILIES AMONG THE PEOPLE. AFRICAN AMERICANS  DESERVE A BETTER DEAL. BY ALL ACCOUNTS, BEN CARSON CAN SHOW THEM THE WAY. BESIDES WINNING THE PRESIDENCY, HE IS THE ONLY ONE THAT CAN SUCCEED IN THIS MATTER.
