During her part Johnson spoke boldly to the crowd: "This is a baby! This right here is a baby! It's not a cat. It's not a parasite. This is a human being with a heartbeat, with its own DNA that is separate from her body. And this body deserves to live."

Many feel threatened by the truth displayed by a live ultrasound.

But where there is truth there is freedom. We are America, "Land of the Free" But until the truth is clearly laid out unfiltered and biased media and propaganda from either side, there's not true freedom.

S.B.160 was passed by politicians. The reputation of politicians isn't very high in the political arena. The leaders of the American Baptists and Mormons would not put up with Baptist/Mormons-in-name-only politicians. Why should American Catholics? For decades faithful Catholics have suffered with the comments of Catholic Congresswoman Nancy Pelosi and Vice-President Joe Biden about their Catholic Faith.                                                                                                                                                  

 It's a fraud for them to use the Catholic label to run for office. Both have done so and with others have fooled and duped the American Catholic voter.

Under Pope Benedict XVI, the Vatican told U.S. bishops to withhold Sacred Communion from Catholic politicians who defy Magisterial teachings. [promote absolute evils] The bottom line is the cowardice and ignorance of California's Catholic-in-name-only politicians made possible the passage of S.B. 160. They supported it.  It's time to follow through on Pope Benedict XVI counsel, this year in each U.S.A. Diocese. That's the bottom line!

   
 "Bill Donohue, "Catholic League for Religious and Civil Rights" comments on the passage of the Confessional Bill. It is  a frontal attack on religious freedom; California State Senate yesterday May 24, 2019 voted overwhelmingly to require Catholic priests to violate the seal of the confessional. This bill is absolutely unenforceable. No priest is going to respect it and violate the sanctity of the confessional. Moreover, Catholics are not required to respect unjust laws, and this is a clear example of such a law."

  
 "The Sacrament of Penance and Reconciliation as noted in Archbishop Jose H. Gomez article "Confession is sacred." Angelus, May 17, 2009. "The priest is only an instrument; he stands in the "person of Christ." We confess our sins not to man but to God. The privacy of that intimate conversation - our ability to speak with total honesty from our lips to God's ear - is absolutely vital to our relationship with God. This legislation, then, is a mortal threat to the religious freedom of every Catholic."

    "Bishop Barron expressed himself on this law S.B. 160 in www.wordonfire.org. He gives an outstanding presentation. It is an egregious violation of religious liberty.

   
 The CINOP (Catholic-in-name-only politician)  has been a thorn in the side of pro-life, marriage and family for decades. The CINOP can run for office but don't use the Catholic label. He is a hypocrite and a fraud when he does. My blog of 12 years contains more than 2000 letters relating directly and indirectly to the education of the  American Catholic voter. In 2016, Tim Kaine, a Catholic senator from Virginia, cited Pope Francis's support for contraception use in cases involving the Zika virus during a debate over the promotion of Planned Parenthood funding. Later that year, Hillary Clinton made Kaine her vice presidential running mate. Kaine is a poster boy for the close ties between the Church and the Democratic Party. ... Like the pope, Kaine was influenced by Latin American Liberation theology. Kaine has spoken of his respect for the late Marxist priest Fr. James Carney, to whom Kaine made a special visit in Central America  in the 1980s during Carney's time as a chaplain to communist guerillas.... Yet in the end the pope's influence proved hollow.The "people's pontiff" looked more like the liberal elite's pontiff as Clinton went down to defeat, with Trump even winning the Catholic vote fifty two to forty-five. According to the Italian press, many of Pope Francis's aides viewed the election as a "better defeat."...

Bernie Sanders was impressed to hear Pope Francis quote the long-time Marxist Dorothy Day during his speech before Congress.... Sanders said to the Washington Post. "She was a valiant fighter for workers, was very strong in her belief for social justice...This would be one of the very, very few times that somebody as radical as Dorothy Day was mentioned....Sister Simone Campbell, whose Soros-funded Nuns on the Bus campaign epitomized the cozy relationship between Catholic left and the Democrats has predicted that Pope Francis will push American politics to the left. ...

Defending the logic of situation ethics, Cupich said that conscience is more important to him than Church teaching: "The conscience is inviolable. And we have to respect when they make decision and I've always done that." DEMOCRATS HAVE CHEERED HIM FOR HIS POLICY OF GIVING COMMUNION TO CATHOLIC POLITICIANS WHO SUPPORT ABORTION AND GAY MARRIAGE. ....

"The archdiocese of Chicago under his leadership has become an engine of left-wing activism, with Church officials serving as advocates for annesty and gun control. A report on CBS called him "America's Pope Francis" and he lived up to the billing by telling the liberal interviewer what she wanted to hear, that homosexuals can be "good parents."

The author of the book is the late Paulo Freire, and Pope Francis has made a point of visiting with Freire's widow. The meeting was set up by Cardinal Hummes, the Brazilian whom Francis credits with inspiring him to name himself after St. Francis. Pope Francis "consider the meeting with me because of the writings of Paulo , because of the importance of Paulo for the education of oppressed people, poor people, black people, for women, for minorities," Ana Freire said....

It pleased Sanders to see Pope Francis inveigh against the "idolatry  of money, and to say maybe that's not what human life should be about, and that is a very, very radical critique of the hyper-capitalist system, world system, that we are living in today." In April 2016, at the height of Democratic primaries, Sanders accepted an invitation from the Holy See to lecture at the Vatican and meet Pope Francis....

 

"In an interview with the Leftist Italian newspaper La Repubblica during his visit to Rome, Sanders praised the pope's socialist commitments: "Look I believe the reason I was invited to participate in this conference is that many of the issues which the pope tackles are similar to mine."...

    "Whereas many troubled people, seeking the help of clergy in time of need, were dismayed by complicated theological language, Padre Pio was always able to answer with clarity.  In his diary Padre Agostino makes frequent references to Pio's "sagacity, prudence, lucidity, and charity.... Padre Pio often said that he gave no counsel of any substance unless he was enlightened by God. Frequently, when questioned about a certain person or situation, he had no answer. On those occasions when he did speak definitely, his counsel was almost invariably helpful....

    Meanwhile, even more troublesome events were taking place in Italy and throughout the world. As early as May 1914, Pio had been sought for supernatural illumination on the deteriorating international situation, In response to a question by Benedetto, Pio said that Jesus didn't want him to disclose the ultimate outcome of the world situation.  Less than two months later, on June 28, a Serbian terrorist assassinated the heir to the Austro-Hungarian Empire, and by early August most of the world's major nations were at war. Italy, as well as America, thus far held back. Pio saw the terrifying conflict as God's punishment for man's unbelief, and he dreaded that the wrath of God would soon break out upon his country, which, like its neighbors, had apostatized from God.

    The horror of the burgeoning conflict was too much for the seventy-nine-old pope, Pius X. When "good Catholics" from the Austro-Hungarian Empire came to him, requesting his blessings on their army, he collapsed. Waving them away, he reproached them, saying "We bless peace not war!"

    Shortly afterwards he took to his bed, and, on August 20, after offering himself as a victim for the soldiers on the battlefield, he declared, "I am completely resigned to the will of God." Hours later he was dead of heart and lung problems. Padre Pio was deeply moved by the death of the pope, whose he characterized as a loss to Christendom and whom he described as "a truly noble and holy soul whose equal has never been seen by Rome." .... When Italy entered the war on the side of the allies in the spring of 1915, Pio lamented, "Italy did not want to listen to the voice of love." ....

   
In November it happened, Padre Pio was drafted. He went before the "ferocious medical captain" at Benevento, who diagnosed tuberculosis. This, under the circumstances, was not unwelcome news to Pio. He was horrified, however, when he was sent to Caserta for further examinations and "the stupid colonel" there pronounce him fit. When Pio protested, the colonel simply roared, "Go to your regiment and meet your new superior."

    Private Francesco Forgione was assigned to the 10th Company of the Italian Medical Corps in Naples where he was assigned janitorial duties. Once there, he began to vomit everything, He became so weak that his company commander ordered further examination.... Finally, the physicians came up with a diagnosis of chronic bronchitis and, just before Christmas, granted him a year's leave for convalescence. "Blessed be the Lord, who doeth marvelous things!" Pio exclaimed when he was permitted to return home....

    
 On Feb. 17, 1916, telling his mother, sisters, and friends that he was going to Foggia for a few days to assist a dying woman, Padre Pio went to the railroad station at Benevento to meet Padre Agostino, and the two journeyed to the city of Foggia, a train ride of about two hours to the northeast. The moment Padre Pio set foot in the friary of St. Anna in Foggia,  Padre Benedetto, who was there to meet him, growled, "Here's s pen and paper.     But was it correct to view the Soviet Union as the "focus of evil" in the postwar world? (This concept, first advanced in the early 1950's by Time magazine editor and Alger Hiss accuser Whittaker Chambers, resurfaced in the speeches of President Ronald Reagan some three decades later.) Was it valid to see Soviet Communism as an ideology no less pernicious than Nazism...

 

    The Communist Party USA leadership and its rank and file were composed of Americans who willingly gave up their primary allegiance to a foreign power.... A Central goal of this book is to correct the convential wisdom regarding American Communism - to challenge the falsehood inherent in the claim that Party members were left-wing heretics rather than disloyal conspirators. For Communists, true patriotism meant helping to make the world a better place by advancing the interests of the Soviet Union.

 

    Communist Party members managed to secure footholds in highly sensitive areas of American life. This was especially true during the New Deal years and the subsequent wartime U.S. Soviet alliance...

In fact, American scholars were the first to note that even before Hitler, Lenin and Stalin made terror an instrument of state policy by using concentration camps, slave labor, man-made famines, and mass murder to realize political and economic goals.... Nazis like the  Communists used "peace" as a slogan to disarm their enemies....

 

    It is clear that Moscow's agents in the U.S. helped prevent an earlier Nazi surrender to the Anglo-Americans - the prospect of which haunted the USSR throughout the war.... Assisted Secretary of the Treasury, Harry Dexter White played a key role in this Soviet endeavor.... xv

P.S. Today is our National Day of Prayer. Pray for the conversion of America. Recall, for decades, we prayed for the conversion of Communist Russia. And the miracle of communist collapse occurred in Russia without violence. I believe in miracles. The election of Donald Trump was a miracle. The communist/socialist ideology is alien to America. Sadly, we have professors on our campuses who indoctrinate our students to economic and religious stupidity? Who are they?
