A Mix of Ruthless Repression and Shrewd Opportunism make the Regime Resilient

 

  CASTRO FOUND NEW SOURCES OF REVENUE TO REPLACE THE SOVIET UNION. 

 

1. Tourism brought foreign currency from Europeans and Canadians seeking sun and sex.

 

2. Hugo Chavez's Venezuela provided energy in exchange for Cuban political and military assistance. 

 

3. Havana rented out it medical personnel overseas, with the government being paid directly for their services provided the conscripted health workers with only a pittance.

 

4. And Castro weaponized the family ties between Cuban-Americans and their on-island relatives. Allowing Cuban-Americans to visit the island and send money to their suffering family members brought desperately needed dollars into Cuba.

 

5. And the government set up a network of dollar-only stores selling scarce goods at high prices to capture this revenue for itself....

 

Questions:

COMMUNISM IS FUNDAMENTALLY A MAFIA TERRORIST TYPE ORGANIZATION. IT HAS NO LEGAL RIGHT IN NATURAL TO EXIST.

 

IS THIS THE WAY WE ALLOW A NEIGHBORING COUNTRY TO LIVE?  NO COUNTRY SHOULD LIVE THIS WAY!                                                  

 

HOW WOULD YOU WANT TO LIVE IN THAT MANNER? DOESN'T IT MAKE "COMMON SENSE" TO CALL AND CRY FOR FREE ELECTIONS IN CUBA?                                                                                                   

I KNOW "COMMON SENSE" IS NOT POPULAR AMONG LEFTISTS AND LIBERALS. LET THEM BE DARNED.

 

TO START OFF,  WE WANT TO SEE FREEDOM FOR CUBA RALLIES IN ORANGE COUNTRY. HOW ABOUT MILE SQUARE IN FOUNTAIN VALLEY?
