Herman Cain in his own Words

Herman Cain in his own Words

The host of the CBS program asked Cain about comments he made in January saying he opposes the racist agenda of “PLANNED PARENTHOOD” the nation’s biggest abortion business.

“I absolutely would defund Planned Parenthood – not because I don’t believe in planning parenthood, [but because] Planned Parenthood as an organization is an absolute farce on the American people,” he said then. “People who know the history of Margaret Sanger, who started Planned Parenthood, they know that the intention was not to help young women who get pregnant to plan their parenthood. No – it was a sham to be able to kill black babies.”

In the new interview, Cain says, “I still stand by that. If people go back and look at the history and look at Margaret Sanger’s own words, that’s exactly where that came from What I am saying is , Planned Parenthood isn’t sincere about wanting to try to counsel them not to have abortions.”

“Seventy-five percent of those facilities were built in the black community. In Margaret Sanger’s own words she didn’t use the word ‘genocide’ but she did talk about preventing the increasing number of poor blacks in this country by preventing black babies from being born,” Cain told the program…

Walter Hoye, a pro-life African-American pastor from California, says Cain’s comments are borne out in a report issued by LIFE DYNAMICS showing the placement of abortion centers in largely black or minority areas displays the racial undertone of abortion. “The eye opening report, Racial Targeting and Population Control by Mark Crutcher. President of Life Dynamics confirms Herman Cain’s declaration and reveals the truth about Planned Parenthood and the abortion industry,” Cain says…

Now, in a new interview with David Brody of CBN News, Cain says he would support a “HUMAN LIFE AMENDMENT TO THE CONSTITUTION “to afford legal protection for the 1.2 million unborn children who die in the abortions annually since the Roe v. Wade decision.

“Are you for some sort of pro-life amendment to the constitution that in essence would trump Roe v. Wade?” Brody asks. “Yes. Yes I feel that strongly about it. If we can get the necessary support and it comes to my desk I’ll sign it. That’s all I can do. I will sign it,” Cain responds… “I believe that the office of the presidency and the bully pulpit should be used for that because I happen to believe that we have many instances where if you appeal to the people’s hearts you can change their minds. I had the experience of visiting a facility in Houston, Texas not too long ago. It was a women’s facility … they work with ladies who have gotten pregnant and they think they want an abortion. .. They introduced me to a young lady who had decided not to have an abortion, and see that pretty baby there… you have to show them the beauty of not aborting a life.

Dr. Martin Luther King was one of the greatest leaders this country has ever seen. How did he bring about the movement that resulted in the Civil Rights Act of 1964? He touched the hearts of people. That’s what a President needs to have the ability to do, in order to change people’s minds.”… www.lifesitenews.com – 10/23 and 11/03

George H. Kubeck, President or V.P. Herman Cain would strengthen all American families with traditional values.
