The Catholic Vote in 2012
Let the light of truth open your mind! - cinops be gone - Monday, Dec. 31, 2012
We have the winners and the losers!
Prologue: 1) “O Lord, my chosen portion and my cup; you hold my lot in your hands.” (Ps. 16:5)
“Because the cup is in his hands, the only losing lot would be refusal to accept at all the lot from his hands.” Pope Benedict XVI, “Co-Workers of the Truth” - Meditation, Dec. 31st.
2) Just prior to the election in November of 1884, our founder of the Knights of Columbus, the Venerable Servant of God Father Michael McGivney gave his congregation some important advice about the upcoming election. He said: “In casting your ballots, you should look well to the responsibilities under which every citizen of this free government is place. Let not the soft or alluring words of tricky politicians, or the seductive dollar turn you a hair’s breadth from your lawful path. Vote not as other men dictate, but rather like men with the interest of your country at heart. Vote according to the dictates of your own consciences.” Vote with a well formed conscience.
References: a) The 1600 letters on my blog. They seems idealistic, naïve to reality, too honest and truthful. Cinops be gone supports loyalty to the Pope, the Magisterium and The Catechism of the Catholic Church. b) http://cal-catholic.com/wordpress/2012/10/11/lets-be-clear-about-confusion/
Public Notice: The meeting of “Co-Workers of the Truth Fellowship” will be on Thursday, Jan. 17, 2013, 9-10:15 A.M. at Chick-Fil-A, corner of 605 Freeway and Carson St. in Long Beach.
There is no religious or political power greater than the truth. The truth is shunned not only in secular but also in religious society. The winners of the Catholic Vote in 2012 were dissident Catholics within the American Catholic Church. The losers were faithful Catholics who try to follow the ten commandments and believe in The Catechism of the Catholic Church. Recall we won in the 2010 elections. Many CINO politicians were defeated. We will win again in 2014.
When you have 50% of the so-called Catholics vote for Obama and only 20% of Evangelicals voted for Obama, what does that mean? It means that Evangelicals are Christian, understand the issues, and have a well-formed conscience. One day Catholics will do likewise. May I share with you several loser organizations which we have financially supported.
Losers Organizations: National Right to Life, Human Life International, Catholic Advocate, Catholics for the Common Good, Priests for Life, Catholic Answers, American Life League, Catholic League for Religious and Civil Rights, National Pro-Life Alliance, Lifesitenews.com, EWTN, Knights of Columbus, Cardinal Newman Society, Fellowship of Catholic University Students, National Catholic Register, First Things, Mindszenty Report, Eagle Forum etc. Losers were also Talk Radio, Voters Guide for Serious Catholics, the Test of Fire Video, CatholicVote.org, Catholic.com., etc.
The Winning Persons and Organizations: The CINOP (Catholic-in-name-only politician and persons), V.P. Joe Biden, Nancy Pelosi, Governors Jerry Brown and Andrew Cuomo, Senators Dick Durbin and John Kerry, Father Michael Pfleger, Chicago’s pastor of Community of Saint Sabrina all liberal Catholics, Chris Matthews, Bill Press, E.J. Dionne, Mark Shields, Commonweal, America, National Catholic Reporter, Dissident Catholic professors and teachers, Jesuit Colleges, Catholics United, Catholics for Free Choice, Catholic Alliance for the Common Good, The guide Forming Consciences of Faithful Citizenship, also bishops and priests who are Democrats first & priest second.
Happy New Year,
George H. Kubeck, - Maybe you can go to the following conference and ask questions.

The Mystery of Creation
The Mystery of Creation
In pursuit of the truth - cinops be gone - Saturday, Dec. 29, 2012
Excerpts from “The Catechism of the Catholic Church”
IV. The Mystery of Creation - God creates by wisdom and love
295. We believe that God created the world according to his wisdom. It is not the product of any necessity whatever, nor of blind fate or chance. We believe that it proceeds from God’s free will, he wanted to make his creatures share in his being, wisdom and goodness.
296. We believe that God need no preexistent thing or any help in order to create, nor is creation any sort of necessary emanation from the divine substance. God creates freely, “out of nothing.”
297. Scripture bears witness to faith in creation “out of nothing” as a truth full of promise and hope. Thus the mother of seven sons encourages them for martyrdom….
298. Since God could create everything out of nothing, he can also through the Holy Spirit, give spiritual life to sinners by creating a pure heart in them….
God creates an ordered a good world
299. Because God creates through wisdom, his creation is ordered: “You have arranged all things by measure and number and weight.”… “And God saw that it was good … very good” for God willed creation as a gift addressed to man, an inheritance destined for and entrusted to him….
God transcends creation and is present to it
300. God is infinitely greater than all his works: “You have set your glory above the heavens.” Indeed, God’s “greatness is unsearchable.” …
God upholds and sustains creation
30l. With creation, God does not abandon his creatures to themselves. He not only gives them being and existence, but also, and at every moment, upholds and sustains them in being, enables them to act and brings them to their final end….
V. God Carries Out His Plan: Divine Providence
302. Creation has it own goodness and proper perfection, but it did not spring forth complete from the hands of the Creator. The universe was created “in a state of journeying” (in statu viae) toward an ultimate perfection yet to be attained, to which God has destined it. We call “divine providence” the disposition by which God guides his creation toward this perfection:….
303. The witness of Scripture is unanimous that the solicitude of divine providence concrete and immediate; God cares for all, from the least things to the great events of the world and its history.
304. And so we see the Holy Spirit, the principal author of Sacred Scripture, often attributing actions to God without mentioning any secondary causes….
305. Jesus acts for childlike abandonment to the providence of our heavenly Father who takes care of his children’s smaller needs: ….
Providence and secondary causes
306. God is the sovereign master of his plan. But to carry it out he also makes use of his creature’s cooperation….
307. To human beings God even gives the power of freely sharing in his providence by entrusting them with the responsibility of “subduing” the earth and having dominion over it….
308. The truth that God is at work in all the actions of his creatures is inseparable from faith in God the Creator. God is the first cause who operates in and through secondary causes:…
Providence and the scandal of evil
309. If God the Father almighty, the Creator of the ordered and good world, care for all his creatures, why does evil exist? … Only Christian faith as a whole constitutes the answer to this question: … There is not a single aspect of the Christian message that is not in part an answer to the question of evil…. ghk

Dr. Larry P. Arnn's Imprimis answers Questions
Dr. Larry P. Arnn’s Imprimis answers Questions
In pursuit of the truth - cinops be gone - Thursday, Dec. 27, 2012
Dr. Arnn is the twelfth president of Hillsdale College. Imprimis is a publication of the College with over 2,600,000 readers monthly. It is free. www.hillsdale.edu/news/imprimis.asp
The following is adapted from an interview by Hugh Hewitt for the Hugh Hewitt Radio Show on the day after the election, Nov. 7, 2012. (December 2012 Issue) (Hugh is on daily 3-6 PM., KLAC 870)
Hugh Hewitt: (HH) In his introduction to The City and Man, Leo Strauss wrote this: “The crisis of the West consists in the West’s having become uncertain of its purpose.” Is that applicable to what we see in our politics today?
Larry P. Arnn: (LPA) It is certainly true that the vast majority of our nation’s elites today - those who welcome the results of yesterday’s election - are creatures of modern historicist thought, which explicitly rejects the kind of objective principles - equality under God, inalienable rights - equality under God, inalienable rights - on which America was founded. According to modern historicism, the only objective truth is that one can’t know an objective truth.
President Obama embraces this view in no uncertain terms in his book The Audacity of Hope: “Implicit … in the very idea of ordered liberty,” he writes, is “a rejection of absolute truth, the infallibility of any idea or ideology or ‘ism,’ any tyrannical consistency that might lock future generations into a single unalterable course ….” So much for individual rights & limited government.
HH: You mentioned Reagan, who always seemed to know, as Solzhenitsyn knew, that it was all papier-mâché in the Soviet Union - that you could poke a stick through it and it would fall apart. It was held together by fear. But modern bureaucratic government operates in such a way as to gain people’s allegiance and trust. Isn’t that a significant difference between the two?
LPA: The experts who run the modern bureaucratic state think they are architects of a perfectly rational society. They think of themselves as scientists, and of the running of government as something more like science - the science of administration - than politics.
They think they can coordinate society comprehensively so that no one is left out. That’s why they think of their work as something good and as something high.
The problem is that what they are trying to do defies human nature - the human nature that led James Madison to write famously that men are not angels, and that led the Framers of the Constitution to divide government in order to limit government - and so what these experts are doing will ultimately lead to despotism.
But to speak directly to your question, Hugh, there are many indications that there’s a deep and even intensifying opposition to bureaucratic government today. People don’t like it, and they don’t trust it. They want less of it. And I don’t believe that yesterday’s election signified any change in that. Now, how to harness that opinion politically is the challenge. No one has yet been able to capitalize upon it.
HH: What would be your advice as to what constitutional conservatives should be saying?
LPA: One obvious theme to strike is that people didn’t vote for, and don’t support, higher taxes and bigger government. But conservative statesmen have to get better. Calvin Coolidge once said that great statesman are “ambassadors of providence, sent to reveal to us our unknown selves.”
What that means is that great statesmen are not going to be around very often. I’d say that the standard of conservative statesmanship today is improving, but too few prominent conservatives are skillful at explaining the problem of the modern bureaucratic state.
This form of government proceeds by rules, and rules upon rules, and compliance with those rules, and compliance with those rules become a key activity of the entire nation. That results in bureaucracy, and in the inefficiencies of bureaucracy. Constitutional government, on the other hand, proceeds by clearly states laws…

Pope Benedict XVI on Peacemakers
Pope Benedict XVI on the Peacemakers
Truth and righteousness - cinops be gone - Monday, Dec. 24th, 2012
“The dinosaurs in the world are said to have become extinct because their development went in the wrong direction: plenty of armor plate and little brain, plenty of muscle and little sense. Are we not also about to develop in a wrong direction: plenty of technology but little soul: a thick armor plate of material expertise but an empty heart? dearth of the ability to perceive God’s voice in us, to recognize and acknowledge what is good and beautiful and true. Co-Workers of the Truth, Dec. 23rd.
Excerpts from LifeSiteNews.com Rome, Dec. 14, 2012, by John-Henry Westen, http://www.lifesitenews.com/home/print_article/news/37416/
True peace in the world requires end of abortion and gay ‘marriage.’ “Peacemakers are those who love, defend and promote life in its fullness,” said Pope Benedict XVI in his Message for World Day of Peace 2013.
The pope stated that “serious harm to justice and peace” comes from denying the true principles of respect for life and promotion of the “natural structure of marriage as the union of a man and a woman.” … pro-lifers are the ‘true peacemakers’ and those who support abortion promote a “false peace.”…
Along with principle of respect for life, the Holy Father spoke of the “need to acknowledge and promote the natural structure of marriage as the union of a man and woman in the face of attempts to make it juridical equivalent to radically different types of union; such attempts actually harm and help to destabilize marriage obscuring its specific nature & its indispensable role in society.
The pope noted these principles are “not truths of faith,” but inscribed in human nature itself, accessible to reason and thus common to all humanity.” Efforts to promote them, he said, “are all the more necessary the more these principles are denied or misunderstood, since this constitutes an offense against the truth of the human person, with serious harm to justice and peace.
“the dismantling of the dictatorship of relativism and of the supposition of a completely autonomous morality which precludes acknowledgement of the ineluctable natural moral law inscribed by God upon the conscious of every man and woman.”
“for legal systems and the administration of justice to recognize the right to involve the principle of conscientious objection in the face of the laws or government measures that offend against human dignity, such as abortion and euthanasia.” … “The right of individuals and communities to religious freedom.”
On the last point, the pope lamented the lack of religious freedom, even in Western nations. “Sadly, even in countries of long-standing Christian tradition, instances of religious intolerance are becoming more numerous, especially in relation to Christianity and those who simply wear identifying signs of their religion.” he stated.
Merry Christmas,
George H. Kubeck,
Truth is our most powerful weapon. There is a lot of work to be done in public education, and parish conversions. For example, join or start a local Co-Workers of the Truth Fellowship or Assembly and work on several of the following signs similar in size to life chains signs. They are 1) Life is the First Inalienable Right. 2) Abortion Hurts Women 3) Marriage, One Dad, One Mom, Children 4) Defend Religious Freedom, Conscience, 1st Amendment to the Constitution, Evil, HHS Mandate 5) Stop Black or Latino Racism, e.g. Stop Black Racism! - 1,000 Black Babies Are Killed Each Day Via Abortion - 365,000 Each Year - Stop the Genocide! 6) Vote Against Candidates & Issues That Hollywood & The News Media Support! - Common Sense.

Hilaire Belloc on Islam
Hilaire Belloc on Islam
Truth and Righteousness - cinops be gone - Friday, Dec. 21, 2012
Excerpts from The Essential Belloc, A Prophet for Our Times - Rev. C. John Mcloskey etc… 2010
Belloc has come to be seen as the only voice predicting the resurgence of Islam, and the only voice connecting the Protestant Reformation with the twin harbinger of economic malaise” monopoly and materialism…. Belloc wanted so much for modernity to turn from its ways, in matters spiritual, cultural, political, and architectural, and historical…
On Islam as a Heresy of Catholicism: by Hilaire Belloc
Mohammedanism was a heresy: that is the essential point to grasp before going any further. It began as a heresy, not as a new religion. It was not a pagan contrast with the Church; it was not an alien enemy. It was a perversion of Christian doctrine.
How did Islam arise? It was not, as our popular historical textbooks would have it, a “new religion.” It was a direct derivative from the Catholic Church. It was essentially, in its origin, a heresy: like Arianism or Albigensianism….
Mohammedanism planted itself firmly not only throughout Syria but all along North Africa and even into Spain, and overflowed vigorously into Asia eastward. Mahomet simplified much than did, say Pelagious or even Arius. He turned our Lord into a mere prophet, though the greatest of the prophets; Our Lady - whom we greatly revered, and whom his followers still revere … he cut out the Eucharist altogether, and was mostg difficult to follow in the matter of the Resurrection. He abolished all idea of priesthood: most important of all, he declared for social equality among all those who should be “true believers” after his fashion….
He advanced a clear affirmation, full and complete, against the whole doctrine of an incarnate God. He taught that Our Lord was the greatest of all the prophets, but still only a prophet: a man like other men. He eliminated the Trinity altogether….
The slave who admitted that Mohammed was the prophet of God and that the new teaching had, therefore, divine authority, ceased to be a slave …. Above all, justice could be had without buying it from lawyers … All this in theory…. But the central point where this new heresy struck home with a mortal blow against Catholic tradition was a full denial of the Incarnation….
Islam advances in herd or mob fashion. It does not proceed, as the Catholic religion does, by individual conversions, but by colonization and group movement. Islam is apparently unconvertible. The missionary efforts made by great Catholic orders which have been occupied in trying to turn Mohammedans into Christians for nearly 400 years have everywhere wholly failed…
The chief heresiarch, Mohammed himself, was not, like most heresiarchs, a man of Catholic birth and doctrine to begin with. He sprang from pagans. But that which he taught was in the main Catholic doctrine, oversimplified. It was the great Catholic world on the frontiers of which he lived, whose influence was all around him and whose territories he had know by travel which inspired his convictions.
Like all heresies, Mohammedanism lived by the Catholic truths which it had retained. Its insistence on personal immortality, on the Unity and Infinite Majesty of God, on His Justice and Mercy, its insistence on the equality of human souls in the sight of their Creator - these are its strength….
Islam has differed from all the other heresies … 1) It did not rise within the Church… He was an outsider born a pagan, living among pagans, and never baptized. 2) This body of Islam attacking Christendom from beyond its frontiers and not breaking it up from within, happened to be continually recruited with fighting material of the strongest kind and drafted in from the pagan outer darkness….
George H. Kubeck- Islam we love you. The Blessed Virgin loves you. We pray for your conversion!

Role Model Venerable Fulton Sheen
Role Model: Venerable Fulton Sheen
In pursuit of the truth - cinops be gone - Wed., Dec. 19, 2012
Excerpts from A Journey to Sainthood, The Living Legacy of Archbishop Fulton J. Sheen, by the Mindszenty Report, December 2012 - Vol. LIV-No. 12 - BBPROF@sbcglobal.net
The Face of the Church: A few generations ago Fulton J. Sheen was the face of the Church in America for millions of Catholics…. According to Archbishop Timothy M. Dolan of New York City, the common theme that emanated in all of his preaching, writing, and speaking was that Jesus Christ was the way to heaven, the truth about how to get there, the life we hope to share for all eternity.
Sheen was born on May 8, 1895 in El Paso, Illinois, the oldest of four sons of Newton and Delia…. After his ordination in the Diocese of Peoria in 1919, he earned the prestigious Cardinal Mercier Prize for International Philosophy in 1923. This led to his appointment to teach theology and philosophy at Catholic University, a position he held from 1926 through 1950.… In 1950 Spellman named him to direct the Society for the Propagation of the Faith in the United States…
Uncle Fultie: Sheen published the first of his 73 books in 1925... It was from the secular pulpit of mass communications that he did the most for the salvation of souls. In 1928 Sheen began a weekly Sunday night radio broadcast, The Catholic Hour. He quickly became the program’s most popular preacher… [Among three different religious programs, Bishop Sheen’s segment, aptly called “Life is Worth Living,” was a sensation.] Monsignor Sheen simply discussed the moral issues of the times in front of a live audience without script or cue cards. Above all it was Sheen’s engaging smile, bright eyes and profound wit that made him a media icon… Sheen topics scanned the Catholic landscape from Freudian psychiatry to the Irish sense of humor and the evils of communism.
A New Messianism: Sheen recognized world communism as the greatest threat to Christianity. He constantly used his intellect and the power of his voice to combat it in his books and broadcast media… Sheen believed that atheism was not just an esoteric philosophy preached by Ivy League professors but was a universal philosophy that had evolved into a New Messianism that threatened to cover the face of the earth….
Brides of the State: Bishop Sheen considered women the barometers of Western Civilization. As mothers, teachers and nurtures they were the transmitters of society’s culture…. Their modern transformation from wives and mothers to brides of the state accelerated in America under President Lyndon Johnson’s welfare reforms which severely weakened the American family.
Sheen believed that advocates of equal rights for women saw equality in purely mathematical terms- e.g., access to the same jobs, pay and sexual freedoms as men. This contradicted Christians, which stressed equality only in a proportioned sense. Female mathematical equality effectively killed chivalrous respect and reduced women to little more than the instrument of man’s sexual pleasure.
The World’s First Love: Sheen had a lifelong devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary whom he referred to as the woman I love. Mary was the pinnacle of womanhood in her pure sacrifice and devotion to her family. Sheen’s love for the Blessed Mother was fully revealed in his book The World’s First Love. To Sheen Mary was the true inspiration of womanhood….
Soul Peace: Bishop Sheen realized as a young priest that mankind was in a perennial state of agitation…. Sheen stressed that in all of modern psychology there is nothing written on frustration, fears and anxieties which can even faintly compare in depth or breadth with St. Thomas’s treatise on the Passions, St. Augustine’s Confessions, or Bossuet’s treatise on Concupiscence. Sheen knew that there could never world peace unless there was soul peace. …
The Hound of Heaven: Sheen was well-known for his celebrity converts…. Columnist Heywood Broun, doctrinaire communists Elizabeth Bentley, Bella Dodd and Louis Budenz, Henry Ford II, Claire Booth Luce, and comedian Jackie Gleason… Sheen’s daily one hour devotion to the Blessed Sacrament was a ritual he observed since his ordination…. George H. Kubeck - Sheen would have ripped apart today’s feeling basis of liberal progressivism.

Islam: The New Marxism
Islam: The New Marxism?
Truth and Righteousness - cinops be gone - Monday, Dec. 17, 2012
Public Notice: 1) The Co-Workers of the Truth Fellowship meeting is cancelled for Dec. 20th. We will start in Jan. 2013. 2) The horrendous massacre in Newtown, Conn., is God’s judgment on America. It includes the hierarchy of the American Catholic Church. Their mindset that permits dissident theologians, Catholic writers and the CINOP to ignore and fight the beliefs of the Catechism of the Catholic Church is incomprehensible and heresy to St. Dominic, St. Aquinas, Blessed St. John Paul II, Venerable Archbishop Fulton Sheen and today’s Catholic Faithful in America. Furthermore, their silence in what is happening to Catholics in Egypt with Sharia law and throughout the world is shameful and embarrassing. 3) Be a practicing Catholic or Islam will be God’s judgment on America.
Here are excerpts from Darrell Ferguson, Islam: The New Marxism? The Schwarz Report, May 2010
Islam is a comprehensive worldview - just like Marxism… 1) Islam is a political ideology first, and a religious observance second, 2) Warfare (Jihad) against unbelievers is divinely mandated, and 3) Islam aims to rule the world, politically and militarily.
1) Political Ideology:
Abdul a La Maududi, one of the fathers of modern Islamism clarified that vision when he said: “Islam wishes to destroy all States and Governments anywhere on the face of the earth which are opposed to the ideology and program of Islam. Islam requires the earth - not just portion, but the whole planet.” … Islam has strategies that are parallel with Marxism, including threats, violence, intimidation, and revolution to achieve their political objectives… both use propaganda to deceive their targets, .. including the oft repeated “mantra” that their intentions are “peaceful.”…
2) Islam is at War:
The second feature of Islam that inspires many Muslims into militant political action today is the concept that Islam is continuously at war. According to Islam, the world is divided into 2 camps - Dar Al-Islam, (Abode of Islam) and the Dar Al-Harb (Abode of war). As Montgomery Watt explains, Jihad is legitimated when non-Muslims make attempts to hinder the political expansion of Islam…
Infidels, Mohammed himself said, … “Are the ‘worst’” (Qur’an 8:55) “… will be killed or crucified, or have their hands and feet on alternate sides cut off.” (Qur’an 5:33-34) “I will instill terror into the hearts of unbelievers, smite ye above their necks & smite all their fingertips of them.” (Qur’an 8:12).
3) Islam will rule the World:
The third feature of Islam that inspires militant Muslims in their drive to Islamize the nations is their belief that one day Islam will rule the world, politically and militarily.
a) Expansion 632 AD - 1922 AD:
The drive to conquer nations is evidenced in the history of Islamic expansion after the death of Mohammed in 632 AD. Between 625 AD and 644 AD, the second Caliph, brought much of the Middle East under Islamic rule. This included Iraq, Iran, Egypt, Syria, Palestine, and North Africa…
From 644 AD to 1094 AD, Muslim armies continuously attacked Europe, and in 711 Spain was conquered. In 719 Cordova became the seat of an Arab governor, and Spain remained under Islamic influence until 1492 when - in a desperate survival move - King Ferdinand expelled the Muslims back into North Africa… Charles Martel victory in 732 AD, likely saved Europe from becoming Islamic…. The Armenian Christians learned the hard way that Islamic “peace” does not mean the same thing as Christian “peace” when nearly 300,000 were slaughtered in “ethnic cleansing” or driven out by the Turks between 1915-1922.
b) Target U.S.A & Israel:
U.S. authorities have been increasingly worried about the presence of Americans now supporting jihad inside the country. According to Joel Rosenberg, for example, out of the 2.350,000 Muslims in the USA, - 5% (117,500) have a favorable view/agree with Bin Laden & al Qaeda, 13% believe suicide bombings against civilians are justified, -7% of younger Muslims (18-29 yrs) are MORE RADICAL, and agree with Bin Laden, - 25% increase in mosques in the last years….”

Co-Workers of the Truth - Report
In pursuit of the truth - cinops be gone - Sunday, Dec. 9, 2012
Idealism must deal with reality. “No one showed up“. I was carried away with Pope Benedict’ book of meditations for each day of the year. The pursuit of the truth is constant throughout this book. The Pope’s readings will inoculate you against secular political correctness, liberal Catholic correctness and the dissident Catholic religion.
I gave four of the nine books away as Christmas gifts. Will purchase three others. The book is only $9.00 from St. Joseph Catholic Book and Gifts in Anaheim. (Gaby at 714- 226-9267) I think Ignatius Press has the book for $20.00 or more. On the Nook it is $12.29.)
We are a “Co-Workers of the Truth Fellowship” of men and women. Ours is a coffee break or breakfast get-together of like-minded pro-life, pro-marriage and family advocates.
What we would have talked about at our last Thursday morning Get-Together?
1. Installation of Bishop Kevin W. Vann, JCD,DD at Evening Prayer, Dec. 9, 2012, 7:30 PM, at Future Christ Cathedral Arboretum
Installation Mass: Dec. 10th, 2012, 2 P.M. Doors open at noon. Must be seated by 1:00 PM. At UC Irvine Bren Center.
2. Pope to begin Twitter ‘presence”
3. Our Get-Together for Thursday, Dec. 13th is cancelled. Hope to see you on the 20th.
4. The Silent Boycott: Ref. http://www.lifesitenews.com/home/print_article/news/37138
Walmart, Belk, Lowe’s and Hobby Lobby the list of ‘Christmas friendly’ stores put out by the American Family Association… ‘companies against Christmas’ list include GAP and Old Navy stores as well as Staples, Radio Shack and Foot Locker.
5. Catholic Congresswoman Jackie Speier introduces resolution condemning sexual reparative therapy. This is contrary to the Catechism of the Catholic Church. What an insult to Catholic identity! She should be shunned and ostracized within any Catholic parish. Lady do not use the Catholic label when you run for office.
6. I recall the Pope’s visit to America during President Bush’s term of office. He talked to Catholic professors and educators. What a betrayal they have been to him and to our Catholic faith in America. This is in reference to the abomination that is occurring at San Diego University. The thought of having this so-called Catholic theologian speak at any Catholic facility is insane.
British Tina Beattie promotes a woman’s right to choose abortion and encouraged access to same-sex marriage, while also comparing the sacrifice of the Mass to an act of homosexual intercourse. She has been honored as a visionary theologian promoting such heresy on Catholic campuses here and abroad. And then what kind of mindset have we with 99 members of the University’s Academic Assembly voting in support of her appearance… Where are you St. Thomas Aquinas, Patron of Catholic Schools?

Co-Workers of the Truth
Co-Workers of the Truth
In pursuit of the truth - cinops be gone -(Happy New Year) Sunday, Dec. 2, 2012
Good News: We have 9 books available for our first meeting on Thursday, Dec. 6th.
MY purpose is to try to introduce some practical pro-life and marriage ideas from Joseph Cardinal Ratzinger’s book published in English in 1992, titled “Co-Workers of the Truth - Meditations for Every Day of the Year.” Ignatius Press. It is personal because for the last eight years I have meditated on this book. (If you have a Nook or a Kindle, Co-Workers is available for $12.29.)
Why the Pope wrote the book? It was his secretary Sister Irene Grassl who made the suggestion that the he compile from various writings a kind of breviary of reflections for each day of the year. This occurred shortly after his consecration as bishop in 1977. There is a promise implicit in the Pope’s motto from the Third Epistle of Saint John, verse 8, that was adopted from his coat of arms: “Co-Workers of the Truth”.
He calls upon the faithful to extend hospitality to all and become messengers of the Faith as a service to the truth, co-workers of the gospel, and “the task of the bishop; he too, and especially he, is a co-worker”, that is, he does not act in his own name but is always and totally linked to a “with”. Only when he acts “with” Christ and “with” the whole believing Church of all times and all places does he do what he is meant to do. It is not his task to fashion a community for himself, but, rather, to fashion the Church of Christ. That means that he must point to Him who is the Way because He is the Truth (Jn 14:6)”
It is my belief that had we listened more closely to Blessed Pope John Paul II and Pope Benedict XVI we would have greater unity in our American Catholic Church and in our universities. This “Year of Faith” provides an opportunity to pray and work towards that goal. Agenda items:
Introduction: Name and Church only. Sign in will include telephone number and e-mail.
Purpose of the Question Box:
1) Begin with a Litany of St. Thomas More. We end our meeting with three Glory Be….
2) One decade of the Rosary
3) 15 minute of silent meditation on the 1st 7 days of December (Advent) in Co-Workers of the Truth
4) We try to keep the mindset of Venerable Archbishop Fulton Sheen. What was it? ‘We resolve to take up our cross and be a disciple of Jesus Christ, who in the words of the Servant of God Bishop Fulton J. Sheen, “will restore within us moral indignation, Who will make us hate evil with a passionate intensity, and love goodness to a point where we can drink death like water.”’ (For example educating citizens to believe in pro-life, pro-marriage and traditional America.)
Agenda: a) Evaluation of Education Signs b) The Abomination at University of San Diego c) Catholic Congresswoman introduces resolution condemning sexual reparation therapy. D) Islam: the New Marxism e) The Silent Boycott. F) Check questions in our Question Box.
Our thrice monthly meetings consist of like-minded pro-life and marriage advocates. We begin with Thursdays, Dec, 6, 13, and 20th. Time will be 9-10:15 AM. Location: “Chick-Fil- A” in Long Beach. (Corner of 605 Freeway and Carson St. next to the In-Out-Burger.) Free coffee for seniors. We are 6 minutes away from (SPC).
Why this time and location? My wife and I attend the 8 AM. Mass at (SPC) St. Peter Chanel Catholic Church 12001 E. 214th Street, Hawaiian Garden, Ca. 90716. She remains in Church for personal Lectio Divina. Peter Chanel has Eucharistic Adoration all day. (Note at that time on Wednesdays and Fridays, others and I are go to two abortion mills in Long Beach & Lakewood.)
George H. Kubeck, Please attend the meetings once or twice monthly. Come late. If you are not there, I will be working on my next letter.

The Worse Liberal Bias in MRC History
The Worse Liberal Bias in MRC History
Truth is our most powerful weapon - cinops be gone - Sat., Dec. 1, 2012
Preface: I have use the term “The Two-Faced (Liberal) Double-Standard News Media.” Here is why? From the Media Research Center (MRC), No. 19 - Issue 11- November 2012
Liberal Media Did Everything They Could to Rig Election -
“This letter was written before the Nov. 6 elections and no matter who won, the fact is that for the last year the left-wing “news” media did all they could to advance the re-election of President Barack Obama, his congressional allies, and their left-wing agenda. I told you 2012 would see the leftist press more active than ever, and I was right. In fact it was even worse than I feared. (L. Brent Bozell III)
“The left-wing “news” herds at ABC,CBS,NBC, CNN, the New York Times, the Washington Post, AP, NPR, MSNBC, and so on, pulled out all the stops to rig the election for Obama. That’s a serious accusation. I stand by it. Their coverage was a disgrace, and a threat to our republic. And it’s why the MRC worked around the clock to document, expose, and neutralize this leftist media.
“Things were so pathetic in terms of left-wing slant, we sent an “open letter” to all the liberal media outlets in September, publicly denouncing them as being guilty of interfering with the democratic process. The letter was co-signed by more than 20 prominent conservative leaders, including Rush Limbaugh, Mark Levin, Laura Ingraham, Ed Meese, Lars Larson, Congressmen Louie Gohmert and Trent Franks, Tea Party Leaders and Family Research Council President Tony Perkins.
“ We told the liberal news organs they were out of control with an unmistakable leftist agenda, rigging the election and taking sides to pre-determine the outcome. We slammed them publicly for breaching the public trust.
“The letter cited several ways in particular that the leftist media were pushing their plans. They included constantly painting conservatives and conservative policy proposals as “extreme” while not reporting on the disastrous results of the hard-left policies enacted since 2009; deliberately burying the brutal economic news and real unemployment numbers in America; dishonestly attacking Mitt Romney’s business record in an angelic light; purposely covering up scandals such as Solyndra, the gun-walking operation Fast and Furious, & the act-of-war terrorist attack at the U.S. consulate in Libya, not to mention the politically correct ties about the “Arab Spring.” Don’t say radical Islam!
“These were all things you would expect the Obama Campaign to do. It is reprehensible that it was the so-called “news” media doing it on Obama’s behalf. On and on it went. The liberal media downplayed the numerous incendiary remarks made by Vice President Joe Biden; they barely talked about the $16-trillion-plus national debt; and they didn’t cover how Obamacare is raising the costs of health care, limiting services, and is a vicious assault on religious liberty and the First Amendment….
“To touch more specifically on just two examples of how outrageous the liberal media were, let’s look at Operation Fast and Furious and the terrorist attack on the U.S. consulate. Fast and Furious was launched by the Obama Administration in 2009, through the Justice Department, as a scheme to let firearms “walk” into the hands of drug cartels so law enforcement supposedly could better track the bad guys. It all came to a halt in December 2010 when one of their own Border Patrol agents, Brian Terry, was killed in Arizona and two of the assault rifles at the scene were traced back to F. and F.
“ The Obama administration stalled and delayed Congress’ investigation of the scandal for two years and to this day refuses to let White House employee Kevin O’Reilly testify about his role in the debacle…. The liberal media are ignoring him. Then, the hugely popular Spanish-language TV station in America, Univision, broadcast a devastating report on Fast and Furious in late September, proving how guns funneled through the program were used to murder at least 14 teenager; another 57 guns were captured from the cartels by Mexican police. ABC, CBS, and NBC didn’t say a word…
(In other words, the Two-Faced-Double-Standard News Media elected Obama, President of the U.S.A.)

Dissent Catholic Profs are "grave" threat to Religious Liberty
Dissent Catholic Profs are ‘grave’ threat to Religious Liberty
In pursuit of the truth - cinops be gone - Friday, Nov. 30, 2012
By Patrick B. Craine, South Bend, Indiana, Nov. 23/12 (LifeSiteNews.com)
“Catholic professors and public officials who rebel from Church teaching on key issues such as abortion and marriage represent a “grave” threat to religious liberty. [They are also heretics to the “Catechism of the Catholic Church.”] “We have witnessed that some instructors who claim the moniker ‘Catholic’ are often the sources of teachings that conflict with, rather than explain and defend, Catholic teachings in the important public policy issues of the day,” said Archbishop Carlo Maria Vigano. “This, my brothers and sisters, is a grave and major problem that challenges the first freedom of religious liberty and the higher purpose of the human person.”
“In an address at the University of Notre Dame, the papal nuncio said the Church is weakened and thus “more easily persecuted” when she is divided by Catholic faithful who support “a major political party [with] intrinsic evils among its basic principles.”….
Now here is a serious example by Frank Bruni in the New York Times on March 19, 2012, titled, “Many Kinds of Catholics.” -- “American Catholics have been merrily ignoring the church’s official position on contraception for many years, often with the blessing of lower-level clerics. When my mother dutifully mentioned her I.U.D. during confession back in the 1970s, the parish priest told her that she really didn’t apologize or bring it up again. Which was a good thing, since she had no intention of doing away with it. Four kids were joy and aggravation enough.
“Despite church condemnation of abortion and same-sex marriage, American Catholics’ view on both don’t diverge that much from those of Americans in general. These Catholics look to the church not for exacting rules, but for a locus of their spirituality with rituals and an iconography that feel familiar and thus comfortable in matters religious, as in “Wizard of Oz,” there’s no place like home, and Catholicism is as much ethnicity as dogma something in the blood, and something in the bone. The Catholic hierarchy, meanwhile, keeps giving American Catholics fresh reason for rebellion.
“Because we all know that the statements and blessings of “lower-level clerics” should always take precedence over the teachings of the Church, articulated and expressed by popes, bishops, and faithful lower-level clerics. The surprise isn’t that there are Catholics, even priests, who deny Church teaching, the surprise is that we are expected to take each denial as a sign of vibrant, rich meaningful Catholicism, as if the greatest virtue ever demonstrated by a Catholic is to knowingly reject Catholic teaching and real virtue.”
For Bruni, being Catholic is about a feeling, a vague sense of comfort, and “something in the bones” - perhaps because so little is evidenced in the brain or the soul. His scowling, defiant piece is a perfect example of what Gregory means when he writes “The pullulating pluralism reinforces the relativizing impression that all religion can only be a matter of individual, subjective, and irrational personal preference… “It isn’t just a failure of faith, it is a complete failure to believe that truth can be known, found, grasped, considered, held, contemplated, love, and lived. In the words of Abp. Fulton Sheen.
“Minds no longer object to the Church, because of the way they think, but because of the way they live. They have no difficulty with the Creed, but with her Commandments; they remain outside her saving waters, not because they cannot accept the doctrine of Three Persons in One God, but because they cannot accept the moral of two persons in one flesh, not because infallibility is too complex, but the veto on Birth Control is too hard, not because the Eucharist is too sublime, but because Penance is too exacting. Briefly, the heresy of our day is not the heresy of thought, it is the heresy of action.” ….

2- The Presidency
2- The Presidency
Truth is our most powerful weapon. - cinops be gone - Wednesday, Nov. 28, 2012
The following is part 2 of 2 by William J. Murray’s commentary on the Presidency.
“Those voting for Romney, Johnson or Goode wanted less personal involvement with government, not more. As for the Tea Party, most Tea Party members would prefer to have their lives virtually invisible to government. People supporting themselves don’t want government involved in their lives. This is a huge contrast, and it is a contrast that divides the nation.
“Final analysis - The 2012 presidential election was not lost in 2012, but years earlier. As the welfare state grew, a tipping point was reached, I believe sometime during the 1990’s when the Republicans were firmly in charge of the Congress. The footprint of those who pay income tax was reduced. So many people did not pay income tax that it was no longer an important issue for the majority. In 2000, George W. Bush actually lost the popular vote by 543,816 votes.
“In 2004 he only won reelection because of the number of states, including Ohio, that had marriage protection acts or anti-gay marriage amendments up for a vote at the same time. Karl Rove, who knew Bush would be defeated without a strong social conservative vote, orchestrated the traditional marriage votes in swing states to help Bush win.
“The only GOP candidate with a hope of winning the 2012 election was populist Rick Santorum whom I supported. Santorum’s strong pro-life position along with his knowledge of the Islamist threat and known record of support for Israel could have helped him win. Running for office in Pennsylvania, Rick Santorum received a huge share of the Jewish vote.
“The GOP establishment and the big money men in the anti-tax movement hand Mitt Romney all the money he needed to beat Santorium and win the primary. A lot of that money going to the GOP this election cycle came from those opposed to the views that you and I hold dear. Billionaire brothers David and Charles Koch, who directed millions to anti-tax GOP candidates including Romney, support same-sex marriage. Both men also want to cut the military as a way to lower taxes.
“Is the nation as we know it lost? Social Security is the “third rail” of politics. It is a tremendously popular program not only with seniors but with their children as well. Social Security provides a safety net for the elderly but also reduces the burden on younger Americans to care for elderly parents. Unfortunately Social Security has become an excuse for many children to financially abandon their parents. This has harmed both the family and social fabric…
“Dependence on government gets extreme in some of these environments. In Manhattan, if a light bulb burns out in an apartment, the resident calls maintenance to replace it. However, in rural Georgia, if someone’s has a sewer problem he rents a backhoe and fixes it himself. These are two totally different views of the world….
“The worship of sex and violence by the media and by the public enfeebles the power of the church and synagogue. More people watch human bodies being nonchalantly dissected on TV crime shows each week than attend church. Yes, the tipping point has been passed, but it was not just the fiscal tipping point; it was tipping point as well. When government rather the family becomes the main provider, people see fewer practical reasons for morality. More adults live together without benefit of marriage. More children are born out of wedlock. More young men destroy their lives in homosexuality. Drug use destroys the will to work and the will to live….
“Hope does remain: That hope is in the promise of Jesus Christ and the Word of God. The Gospel changes lives and hearts and we must all work to win hearts at all levels… . We cannot surrender. The truth of the Gospel and the Biblical view of family must still be presented to the lost...."

The Founder of Planned Parenthood & Racism
The Founder of Planned Parenthood & Racism
In pursuit of the truth - cinops be gone - Monday, Nov. 26, 2012
Preface: One excerpt from Elasah Drogin, T.O.P., Margaret Sanger - Father of Modern Society - 1879-1966 - Founder and Hero of Planned Parenthood, 1989, Elasah* is a Jewish convert to Catholicism.
“The Genealogy of Racism: Margaret Sanger is responsible more than anyone else, for keeping alive international racism. She played the attractive hostess for racist thinkers all over the world. Organizing the First World Population Conference in Geneva in 1926, she invited Clarence C. Little, Edward A .East, Henry Pratt Fairchild, and Raymond Pearl - all infamous racists. p. 77-80
“In 1931 Sanger founded the Population Association of America with Fairchild as its head. Fairchild, formerly the secretary-treasurer of the American Eugenics Society and the leading academic racist of the decade, wrote the The Melting Pot Mistake which denigrated the Jews, referring to them as the inferior new immigrants who would threaten the native Nordic stock.
“Edward A. East, a firm believer in Black inferiority, persuaded Mrs. Sanger to gather information about her clients at her Maternity Research Clinic that went beyond medical histories. She agreed to include information about the nationality, heredity, and religion of the patients and to make a “judgment” regarding the amount of racial intermixture of the patient, “whether the person was more or less pure Black, mulatto, quadroon, etc.”
“Lothrop Stoddard was on Sanger’s board of directors for years. As previously mentioned, he had a personal interview with Adolph Hitler and was very impressed. His book, The Rising Tide of Color Against White World-Supremacy, was written while he served on Sanger’s board. Havelock Ellis, one of Sanger’s extra-marital lovers, reviewed this abominable book favorably in Birth Control Review.
“In the 20’s and 30’s Sanger fearlessly carried on with these racists, and many others, totally uninhibited. But when Adolph Hitler poisoned the air by politically carrying out her eugenics schemes, Mrs. Sanger and her crew made some changes. The term “birth control” had always been associated with eugenics, so the American Birth Control League changed its name to Planned Parenthood. The racist language changed with it. Such terms as “good or bad breeding stock” were changed to “class” and “income level.”
“Eugenics is identical to racism because both believe that there are innately, irreversibly inferior groups of human beings. Eugenicist-racist believe in the inequality of the races and that by selective breeding the inferior race can be improved - by “selective breeding” is meant that the inferior breeders of the population are somehow consistently eliminated….
“The majority of Americans are totally unaware of how deeply racism runs through our society today. This was demonstrated in a poll taken in Philadelphia in 1971 in which 69.2 percent of the people agreed that those with low I.Q. test scores should be sterilized. Planned Parenthood considers sterilization a cleansing operation, however, a few lucky people at the top - like Dr. Shockley - would no have to submit because their genes are already clean. These “clean genes” are confirmed, evidently, by the I.Q. test. Pass it or get sterilized….
“The Bigot-Tree:
Despite the greatest effort on the parts of the people involved in the birth/population control movements, past and present, to cover up their sin they have not succeeded. Margaret Sanger’s organization was poisoned with racism then it is today. Let’s take a look at the bigot-tree and how it grew. As early as 1925 the Rockefeller Foundation began funding the American Birth Control League under whose auspices entertained the world’s anti-Catholic, anti-Semitic and anti-Black racists - thus allowing the roots of the bigot-tree to get a stronghold in American soil. In 1942 Sanger shaped the tree to a more attractive appearance with the name “Planned Parenthood”….

The Presidency
In pursuit of the truth - cinops be gone - Sunday, Nov. 24, 2012
Preface: Here’s a perspective (Nov. 15/12) by William J. Murray # 1 of 2 which pro-life & marriage advocates need to study. Murray is Chairman of the Religious Freedom Coalition - (202) 742-8990
“I am sure that Mitt Romney loves this nation and he is an honorable man, but no one can win a national election on one issue. Romney talked only about economic issues. For months he campaigned on the fact that he would lower taxes and create jobs.
“Problem one: Only one out two households in the U.S. pays income taxes. A promise to lower the taxes of those who pay not taxes at all does not resonate. A few weeks before the election, Mitt Romney made this 47% remark at a fund raising event, and the media pounced on his “gaff”. It was not a gaff. Romney said that the 47% who paid nothing in and took lots out were not going to vote for him.
“His mistake was in not realizing that many in this group vote Republican for issues other than taxes. The 47% includes millions of very socially conservative seniors who are on social security after a life time of hard work, and who are concerned about the country their children and grandchildren are inheriting. It includes veterans angry about the weakening of our military and the attempt to force the homosexual agenda on our soldiers. It includes hard working couples who don’t make enough to pay taxes, but who care about the country’s moral collapse and the drift toward welfare dependency. Romney had virtually nothing to say about religious freedom, abortion, same-sex marriage, fighting the war on drugs, stopping illegal immigrants, or any social issue.
“Romney’s single issue “lower taxes and more jobs” strategy was not match for the millions of people who voted for Obama because of “what’s in it for me.” Some feared welfare payments would be cut or unemployment payment reduced by a Republican. Still others voted for Obama because they were promised more union jobs with higher pay. Most Obama voters had no interest in the “fiscal cliff” or the huge deficits, or the declining economic and military power of our nation. They voted for Obama’s race, his image and for their hope of personal gain.
“Barack Hussein Obama received millions of votes from people who have little command of the English language beyond that needed to shop at Walmart, and who have no concept of our form of government. Millions more cast their ballot for Obama for purely racial reasons.
“Blacks, Hispanics, and single mothers were the biggest voting blocks for Obama. What issues concerned these voting blocks? Continued: a) affirmative action in jobs and education for blacks and Hispanics, b) welfare payments without work, c) years of unemployment payments d) free medical services for children under the SCHIP program, e) free lunch programs at schools; Continued free day care services, f) expansion of the Food Stamp program, g) massive student loans..
“There are also power players who backed Obama and who donated generously to his campaign, but who are not among the takers. Those included various wealthy socialists such as George Soros, trade unions who want card check, various minorities who want special status, plus those who want legalization of same-sex marriage, or legalization of marijuana and other mind altering drugs.
“There was a common theme in issues for those who voted for Obama: “What is in this for me?” or, “what is in it for my agenda? With this single objective in mind, there is no need to understand the Constitution, basic economic principles or dangers of foreign entanglements. Aircraft carriers are not needed to deliver food stamps or welfare checks, so military strength is not an important issue…
George H. Kubeck, Congratulations to Obama! In less than 4 years he temporarily transformed America. It is a roadway to national economic destruction and a suicide of our American identity.

An Open Letter to Mitt Romney
An Open Letter to Mitt Romney
In pursuit of the truth - cinops be gone - Happy Thanksgiving, Thurs. Nov. 22, 2012
By Mark W. Hendrickson* in the Westminster Herald, California, Nov. 22, 2012
Dear Mitt,
I have awakened on November 7 to learn that your bid for the presidency was unsuccessful. In the midst of the disappointment that I share with you, I want to thank you for devoting years of your life to the wearisome task of running for president. Millions of Americans are grateful to you.
You have been one of my heroes for the past 48 years. I still recall vividly the valiant cross country race you ran at our Cranbrook Homecoming in October or 1964 - a race when you willed yourself to run faster than you ever had until, near the end, oxygen starvation set in, causing you first to stagger, then to collapse just thirty yards from the finish line.
I can still see your face, ashen and contorted in pain, as you ignored the torture of the cinders on the track scraping against soft skin and began crawl. Even though every other runner passed you, and you had nothing to gain - other than surcease of agony - from dragging yourself to the finish line, you refused to quit until your goal.
Your brave effort touched me deeply. That’s where I learned that you were special - a man of character, commitment, heart and guts, someone who embodied the indomitable American spirit.
I also admired your exuberance joie de vivre. You loved life, and I can see that your great capacity for love found abundantly happy fulfillment in your life with your wife and sons.
I also remember your friendship with Chester, our night watchman at Cranbrook. At prep school, there can be a tendency to disregard the support staff, to take them for granted like the furniture, but you reached out to that good, simple, kind, salt-of-the-earth security guard. (Just for the record, I befriended Chester, too, during my senior year, so I feel we share that bond.)
Nobody can doubt your love for your country. Whereas your opponent concentrated on lining up support from key special interest groups, your focus was more akin to the patriotic statesman than the opportunistic politician - it was so clear that you wanted to get our country back on track. As we can now see, that wasn’t to be.
What occurs to me is that, by losing the election, you might have been spared a cruel fate. If elected you would have inherited an economic mess… the looming fiscal cliff an d debt ceiling … Entitlement spending has mushroomed so that it - combined with interest on the nation’s debt - now consumes virtually every dollar of tax revenue… and everything in between, is being run on borrowed (or “punitively eased”) dollars.
No president could trim entitlement spending or shut down enough of the government to stanch the flood of red ink. Government indebtednesses will continue to balloon and our currency will continue to be debauched, … You might have tried by firing Ben Bernanke and replacing him with someone who would stop quantitative easing, but that would have caused interest rates to rise and the federal government to become insolvent, triggering a crisis that would have made you a vilified president.
The presidency at this juncture in history strikes me as an impossible job. Both domestic and foreign policy seem to be Gordian knots that no mere mortal can cut. I know, though, that you would have valiantly been willing to give your all in the attempt to help your country at this difficult time. Your path as president would have been as excruciating as those last 30 yards of that cross country race you ran so long ago, but you would have addressed the challenge with the same determination and commitment as you did then…You gave years of your life for the chance to be of service to your country, Mitt, and you lived by our school motto, “Aim High.” You did us proud.

Agendas for Pro-Life Meetings
Agendas for Pro-Life Meetings
In pursuit of the truth - cinops be gone - Monday, Nov. 19, 2012
By pro-life, I also include pro-marriage and family.
“But the Lord sits enthroned forever. He has set up his throne for judgment; he will judge the world with justice, he will judge the peoples with his truth.” Today’s Liturgy of the Hours - Let’s have some plain talk and tough love!
1. A negative presidential campaign which included lying and smear attacks was successful in winning the presidency of the United States. It was particularly successful with young voters under thirty years of age. It failed with older voters. The problem is that the younger voters made it possible for the passage of same-sex marriage in four States on Nov. 6th.
Everything possible must be done by pro-life to stop same-sex marriage in any state of the union and in California. Let us share some ideas on what needs to be done!
2. Even if we had an ideal Catholic as the nominee for President, we would have lost in California and states similar to California with a large Catholic population. We would also have reelected the CINOP, What does this tell us of the mindset of Catholic Bishops and clergy leadership in these States? Are they responsible for the reelection of the CINOP in their diocese?
3. The New York Times and L.A. Times are to America what the Catholic Colleges and Universities and Catholic magazines like America, Commonweal, and National Catholic Reporter are to the authentic Catholic Church in America. I mean the Catechism of the Catholic Church. What am I really trying to say with the following reality hitting my face. “While most Catholic colleges and universities REMAINED SILENT about federal threats to religious freedom CNS (Cardinal Newman Society) stood with the bishops and faithful Catholic colleges to oppose the HHS “contraceptive mandate.” [From the Desk of Patrick J. Reilly, President, November 6, 2012]
I hate to see a presidential election won by the unelected news media. They did it in this election and in past elections. Please check out again the book by Tim Groseclose, “Left Turn” How Liberal Media Bias Distorts The American Mind. There are few articles posted on this blog.
4. There is a collapse and betrayal by the elite in our country with respect to common sense and the values of traditional America. And among Catholics a total lack of leadership in the public arena. They are afraid to be called bigots on marriage between one dad and one woman with children. This secular religion of toleration and change of fundamental beliefs is sickening.
5. Catholic writers and official newspapers of the Roman Catholic dioceses failed to educate and inform Catholic readers on fundamental issues involved in this 2012 presidential election campaign. I will give you two headline examples: a) Our Sunday Visitor, Oct. 28, 2012 a good article by Russell Shaw. The Headline of the story was: “Pro-life and social justice Catholics increasingly at odds.” Whoever was responsible for the headline was a sympathizer for Barack Obama’s re-election? The so-called social justice Catholic politicians are for intrinsically absolutely abortion on demand, same-sex marriage, embryonic stem-cell research, etc. It is time to call a spade a spade. It is a painful scandal and disgrace to live another two years with Congresswoman Loretta Sanchez.
In like manner, check out Orange County Catholic- October 2012 issue with article by Father Gerald D. Coleman, S.J. Who titled that story as follows? “Election 2012: Mission Impossible?” This is an insult to the intelligence of informed Catholics! Also check out Spanish insert in that that edition titled, “Romney, Obama Demarcan Enfoque Diferentes Sobre Immigracion” Por Patricia Zapor, Catholic News Service.
We have a new bishop coming. I hope he makes changes so that Catholics in Orange County will be better informed and save marriage in California. Texas is a pro-life state and we can learn a lot from Texas. In the end, pro-life and family have to do it with some new ideas along a pathway of education and orthodoxy.
George H. Kubeck - If possible, set aside the first 3 Thursdays of each month from 9-10:15 AM. We meet at Chick-Fil-A Restaurant at the corner of the 605 Fwy. & Carson Blvd., Long Beach.

Bill Benett's 2011 Message* for America
Bill Bennett’s 2011 Message* for America
In pursuit of the truth - cinops be gone - Sunday, Nov. 18, 2012
“Knowing the Enemy, Speaking the Truth and Choosing to Win the War against Radical Islam”
“The defense of the West and America has long been too weak - in our schools as much as in our entertainment and from our own leaders. With a feeble sense of the Western self, is it any wonder that lost and thirsty youth looking for something firm in which to believe can be attracted to the strong message of Islam? We have seen this phenomenon growing in Europe and worry about it here in America.
“Having denied our children an understanding, knowledge and appreciation for our Western and American ethics and history (which includes the teachings of equality and liberty, equanimity, and charity), we have ended up where we are today.
“This failure, more than anything else, could prove the West’s undoing. In America, one can graduate from any of America’s top colleges and not take a single course in American history. Meanwhile, our political scientists and historians teach that our founding was racist or classist or elitist, at best. “You can’t assimilate with a nullity - which is what multiculturalism is,” said Mark Steyn. “So, if Islamist extremism is the genie you’ve trying to put back in the bottle, if doesn’t help to have smashed the bottle.”
“Indeed, we have smashed the bottle of national identity and proper and purposeful assimilation - in both the United States and Britain, as well other European nations. A great relearning is required if we are to endure and be safe.
“Historian David McCullough testified before Congress in 2005 that U.S. history is the “worst subject” in our nation’s classrooms. In the same hearing, U.S. Senator (and former secretary of education) Lamar Alexander cited the results of the National Assessment of Educational Progress. “Fewer students have just a basic understanding of American history than have a basic understanding of any other subject which we test,” he said, “including math, science and reading.” Our children’s grades are naturally as low as our national sense of self - the two are linked.
“Meanwhile, the uber ethic diversity replaces history with “social studies,” a feckless and disappointing substitute that, a Stanford professor William Damon noted, emphasizes “tolerance for non-Western cultures and criticism of our own.” While we criticize ourselves, we do not teach, he said, “about parts of the world that have not been blessed by freedom and democracy.”
“We do not teach “how women feel in cultures that keep them illiterate and disenfranchised, force them to wear smothering clothes or undergo involuntary genital surgery, punish them when they are raped, and threaten them with harm when their families cannot afford huge dowries. We do not contrast those societies “with societies where everyone gets to vote, protest, join unions, start businesses, marry and divorce at will, choose partners our of affection, not coercion, worship or not worship as they wish.”
“In short, we no longer teach, said Damon, “ a sense of how freedom has been won in some places and lost in others. How American rights were forged through suffering in Valley Forge and Selma; how utopian Russian dreams slipped away into tyranny; how German democracy was brought down by terrorism and divisiveness in the Weimar years; how Japan succumbed to its leaders’ militarism and expansionism.” And we do not teach the American role in reforming itself while fighting the various evils arrayed against us.
“We have made aliens in our country by alienating ourselves and our children from our history and our cause… That’s the cost of denigrating our own story. Said C.S. Lewis, “We laugh at honor and are shocked to find traitors in our midst. We castrate and bit the geldings be fruitful.” …*p. 143-146, The Fight for Our Lives, by William J. Pro-Life Leaders: Fight Abortion and Planned Parenthood
Pro-Life Leaders: Fight Abortion and Planned Parenthood
In pursuit of the truth - cinops be gone - Saturday, Nov. 17, 2012
http://www.lifenews.com/2012/11/07/pro-life-leaders-vow-we-will-not-give-up-fighting -…
“Now is not the time to give up, but instead, I hope I can count on you to join me in fighting the President’s radical pro-abortion agenda for the next four years,” said Marjorie Dannenfelser of the Susan B. Anthony List. “Together, we will win this fight. Don’t lose faith. Unborn children and women are counting on us.”
“The most pro-abortion President in our nation’s history was reelected. That’s bad news,” Dannenfelser added/ “The good news is that we have heroes in Congress - some long-time warriors and some just elected just tonight - who are willing to take him on and fight for unborn children and women. But they are going to need our help.”
“Americans United for Life Action president Charmaine Yoest said that the possible continuation of the pro-abortion federal policy of new re-elected President Obama, there are opportunities to stop abortion via state legislatures. [Sadly, not in sick California.]
“A pro-life majority being retained in the U.S. House also means that President Obama will not be able to force through his radical agenda without opposition,” she added. “At the same level, I believe we will see even more legislatures take back the life issue with model legislation and continue creative abortion limitation in light of Obama’s aggressive pushing of abortion on Americans. [Be informed, Obama is promoting abortion and homo. agenda in countries where we have an embassy.]
“Already, AUL has worked with ten states in passing legislation to opt out of permitting taxpayer-subsidized abortion coverage through Obamacare. And we predict that the courts are going to see an ever increasing number of lawsuits as Americans fight for 1st Amendment Rights…”
“Carol Tobias, head of the National Right to Life Committee also weight in with encouragement. Things didn’t turn out as well as we wanted, but it wasn’t for lack of trying. Pro-lifers all over the country did everything possible, going above and beyond the almost-unimaginable, putting their hearts and souls into this campaign,” she said. “ We will awaken each morning saddened at the future in store for our country, heart-broken at the thought of lost opportunities to saved unborn children from abortion, and the elderly and disabled from rationing of medical care…”
“I was one of those optimists who believed we could elect a pro-life president and maybe even a pro-life majority in place in the Senate,” Carol said. “We do not always understand why something happens, but we do know that we are in God’s hands.” [What does God want of us?]
“Frank Pavone, National Director of Priests for Life, added, “It is therefore time to recommit ourselves to the basics” a clear proclamation of the truth, an uncompromising fidelity to our principles, and an unwavering commitment to civil disobedience.
“Meanwhile, the national pro-life groups have done outstanding work in this years election, with initiatives, creativity, and energy as great as I have seen, and there is no doubt that the election results would have been far worse without that activity.” Pavone said. “The pro-life cause will prevail in America. In the election of 2014, we will work for a pro-life Senate majority to further blunt the ability of President Obama to damage the cause of life.
We will continue the cultural progress that is so clearly on the side of life, as more minds and hearts embrace the unborn, as more abortion mills close, and as more women and men speak up how abortion harmed them.”…

Understanding Obama's Benghazi-Gate
Understanding Obama’s Benghazi-Gate
In pursuit of the truth - cinops be gone - Friday, Nov. 16, 2012
Preface: The influence of the President Obama in the Office of the Presidency is horrendous. Particularly his influence in persuading the young voters to vote for same-sex marriage. Now just like he wants us to change the definition of marriage, he wants us to change the definition of a radical Islamist. If the radical Islamist blows himself up or kills other human beings do not think of him as a terrorist. Islam is a religion of peace.
The book by William J. Bennett and Seith Leibson titled “The Fight of Our Lives,” explains it all. Why doesn’t Senator McCain refer to this book and why did he not do something about this matter three years ago? The following are excerpts from the book that explain the mindset of Obama and his regime.
1. In November 2009, the day after the Fort Hood Massacre, the president spoke from the White House, warning the American people about haste in assessing what had happened. “I would caution against jumping to conclusions until we have all the facts,” the president intoned. 75
2. In its eighty-six pages, not once does the report actually mention Hasan’s name. Instead he is referred to simply almost indeterminately, as “a gunman.” just like any other random perpetrator of homicide. 12 [This is an outright lie. Survivors of the massacre are suing the government today.]
3. In her testimony before Congress in February of 2009, Homeland Security secretary Janet Napolitano used the words terror and terrorism not once in her prepared opening remarks…
Later, discussing her vocabulary with the German magazine Der Spiegel, Napolitano said, “Although I did not use the word ‘terrorism,’ I referred to ‘man-caused disasters. That is perhaps only a nuance, but it demonstrates that we want to move away from the politics of fear toward a policy of being prepared for all risks that can occur.” … Does the phrase man-caused disaster truly conjure up the concept of a planted bomb or an airplane hijacking… We are threatened by evil intention, and the administration’s new focus removed both evil and intentionally, or at least heavily muted both. 73
4. But Wait! In April 2009, Secretary Napolitano and Homeland Security issued a public report titled “Rightwing Extremism: Current Economic and Political Climate Fueling Resurgence in Radicalization and Recruitment.” Radical Islam and Middle Eastern - and Asian-based terrorism were not mentioned as threats to America, but “groups opposed to abortion and immigration” in America were, as were returning veterans in the U.S. armed services. And they were labeled as potential organizers of “terrorist groups” or “lone wolf extremists.” 74
5. There was more terrorism in America at the end of 2009. On Christmas Day, Northwest Flight 253 headed into Detroit from the Netherlands as Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab, a Nigerian Muslim, tried to explode a bomb he carried aboard… alert Dutch passenger, Jasper Schuringa thankfully… pounced on Abdulmutallab as he was on fire, struggling to detonate the bomb…. 77
6. The Rand Corporation published a study on domestic terrorism and concluded that 2009, Obama’s first year in office, “saw an unprecedented surge in terrorism events on U.S. soil. The lead reported noted that “there have been 32 terrorism-related events on these shores since 9/11 and that 12 of them occurred in 2009.” 78 [The two-faced double-standard Pravda media did not inform us.]
7. Finally, recall Barack Obama’s statement that terrorism grows out of “poverty and ignorance, helplessness and despair.” Abdulmutallabe, for the record, was raised with “wealth, privilege and education.” We already knew this view was pure rot. Osama bin Laden was born a millionaire, and Yasser Arafat died one. Ayman al-Zawahiri is a physician. Nidal Hasan was an American-born and trained physician and officer in the army…. 77

Thanks to the Faith & Freedom Coalition Vote
Thanks to the Faith & Freedom Coalition Vote
In pursuit of the truth - cinops be gone - St. Albert the Great, Thurs., Nov. 15, 2012
http://www.lifenews.com/2012/11/07/poll-evangelical-turnout-increased-in-2012-over-20 … I contributed $110., this year to the Faith and Freedom Coalition.
New polling data from the Faith and Freedom Coalition, headed by pro-life advocate Ralph Reed, shows that the evangelical turnout was up in 2012 for Mitt Romney compared to the 2008 numbers for John McCain. The data makes it appear other reasons are behind the Romney loss to pro-abortion Pres. Barack Obama last night than a failure of social conservative voters to support him.
A national post-election survey commissioned by the Faith an Freedom Coalition last night found that the evangelicals vote increased in 2012 to a record 27% of the electorate and that white evangelicals voted roughly 78% for Mitt Romney to 21% for Barack Obama. This was the highest share of the vote in modern political history for evangelicals, Reed said.
“Evangelicals turned out in record numbers and voted as heavily for Mitt Romney yesterday as they did for George W. Bush in 2004,” Reed observed. “That is an astonishing outcome that few would have predicted even a few months ago. But Romney underperformed with younger voters and minorities and that in the end made the difference for Obama.
Catholic voters who regularly attend Mass broke for Romney to 32% for Obama. This represented a swing of 35% in the direction of the GOP since 2008. Romney also won white Catholics by a margin of 59% to 40%, a margin of 19 points among a group that historically has voted for the winner. Nevertheless, Obama narrowly won the Catholic vote driven largely by over-performing among Hispanic Catholics.
“Virtually the entire increase in Mitt Romney’s compared to John McCain’s in 2008 came because of higher turnout and higher support from evangelical voters,” said Glen Bolger, the pollster who conducted the survey.
“This election was a tale of two cities,” said Reed. “Evangelicals and faithful Catholics turned out in large numbers and voted overwhelmingly for religious liberty, the sanctity of life and marriage, and limited government. But younger voters and minorities turned out in even larger numbers than 2008 and delivered Obama to victory.
Reed added: “If the Republican Party wants to be competitive in national elections, it will have to nominate candidates who can appeal to young voters, women, Hispanics and other minorities. Otherwise, they will likely see more elections similar to the 2012 outcome. The good news for the GOP is many of those voters are conservative and people of faith.” The post-election survey was conducted by Public Opinion Strategies and interviewed 800 actual 2012 voters. The margin of error is plus/minus 3.46%.
Reed’s group predicted the heavy evangelical turnout before the election. The group made over 122 million voter contacts to evangelicals, faithful Catholics, and other voters of faith in key states. It had a voter education effort that included 23 million pieces of mail, 21 million get-out-the-vote calls, 18 million text messages and emails, and 30 million voter guides distributed in 117,000 churches.
George H. Kubeck, The bottom line is why we Catholics do not have a Faith and Freedom Coalition to inform Catholics and defeat CINOP candidates who support abortion, same-sex marriage, the HHS mandate etc. The CINOP must not be a sacred cow and an untouchable Catholic-label fraud.

Despite Attacks on Catholics, They Voted to Re-Elect Obama
Despite Attacks on Catholics, They Voted to Re-Elect Obama

http://www.lifenews.com/2012/11/07/despite-attacks-on-catholics-they-vote-to-elect-o
Despite a presidency that was based on attacks on Catholics, with aggressive promotion of abortion and attacks on religious liberty via the HHS mandate, President Barack Obama received the majority of Catholic votes on Tuesday.
Exit polling showed 25 percent of the electorate consisted of Catholic voters and they went for Obama by a 50-48 percentage point margin. Exit polls revealed that churchgoing Americans were more likely to vote for Romney and less frequent churchgoers sided with Obama. The results are not surprising given that a final Gallup poll showed Catholics favoring Obama 52 to 45 percent.
That makes appear Catholic Church leaders need to do more to engage nominal Catholics who do not attend religious services frequently and may be less disposed to the pro-life views and teachings of the Church.
“The collision course of the Obama Administration with the Catholic Church could have been averted yesterday, but now it is assured instead,” Father Frank Pavone of Priests for Life responded. “Many in Church leadership failed to connect the dots between personnel and policy. They prayed and preached against the HHS mandate, but they were silent about the election, and called the police to remove citizens who leafleted the Church parking lot trying to inform voters about where the candidates stood on this issue.”
“But Catholic advocate Deal Hudson says progress was made. Catholics, once again represented 25% of the national vote, with Catholics voting for Obama by 49%, and for Romney by 48%, which represents a 5% loss for Obama and a 3% gain for Republicans from 2008,” he noted. “We needed a bigger shift of Catholic voters. “We do not yet have the breakdown of religiously-active Catholic voters, but you can be sure it was close to 60% for Romney.”
“What held down the shift we needed? In our view, it is the growing influence of the Latino Catholic voter. Latinos represented 10% of the vote this year and went 69% for Obama, 30% for Romney,” he added. “We also could have used louder voices among our clergy and our bishops - fewer alphabetical voter guides and more insistence on the civilization issues at stake.”
“Bill Donohue of the Catholic League suggests more battles are forthcoming from a second Obama administration. “In 2007, Barack Obama told Planned Parenthood that the first thing he would do if elected president would be to sign the Freedom of Choice Act (FOCA). Because of opposition from many quarters, including the Catholic League, the bill never got to his desk. But it may now come back, and if it does it could mean that Catholics hospitals would be required to perform abortions lest they lose federal funding,” he told us.
“The fate of the Health and Human Services (HHS) mandate that would force Catholic non-profits to pay for abortion-inducing drugs is sure to reach the U.S. Supreme Court,” he said. “We can’t wait until FOCA and the HHS mandate are thrust upon us, so we need to act now.” Penny Nance of Concerned Women for America said pro-life Catholics need to do more voter outreach. “We are clearly a divided nation. Women of faith both Evangelical and Catholics voted their value but we did not have the conversation needed to convince our friends and neighbors,” she said…”

“Logic dictates that anyone who believes that life should be defended from the moment of conception would not only jump at the opportunity to promote the value of that life, but would be willing to do whatever it took to defeat the single most pro-abortion president ever elected, & help maintain a pro-life margin in the House of Representatives.
“This was the assumption I was working under as I began making telephone calls during the planning stages of several pro-life get-out-the-vote efforts in Florida. I believed then, as I do now that the greatest threat to the sanctity of life was the re-election of Barack Obama. What pro-lifer could disagree?
“I reached out to a Pastor who lives in Congressman Allen West’s district - I explained how close a race Colonel West was facing and that all efforts on his behalf would not only be greatly appreciated but were absolutely crucial. After several days of silence, this is part of the e-mail I received from this Pastor:
“I agree with Col West on most positions, but I’m not willing to volunteer my time to help anyone who is not 100% pro-life. The right to life is the most fundamental right without which all other rights are non-existent.”
“Allen West, a vocal advocate for the unborn was defeated last night by the narrowest of margins. The man who won was endorsed and heavily funded by Planned Parenthood and NARAL. He supports abortion on demand, without apology and for any reason. I wonder how that Pastor feels today. Knowing that his “purity” driven ideological inactivity may have placed another rabid pro-abort in Congress. How does he justify that?
“One of the ways he and many of his ilk may be justifying their incredibly irresponsible pro-life apathy is with the incessant Monday morning quarterbacking seen on social media today. From silly memes to outright bigoted comments about Mitt Romney, these ridiculously churlish individuals continue an ill-advised attempt of maintaining “purity” as a defense for their negligence.
“Because of “purity” they would not get involved in these elections, yet they now seem to have all of the answers for why the pro-life candidates lost. Which is puzzling because all they were capable of doing during the entire election cycle was snipe. The sat back during critical elections and sniped. The watched as the rest of us worked and they sniped. The listened to our pleas for help and they stood on the side-lines and sniped.
“What binds them is that they are all a part of a small, marginal fringe-segment of the pro-life movement who claim to be the most adamant defenders of life, but in fact do little else but raise funds to try and pass hopelessly impassable amendments to State Constitutions. They are just misguided; they have now become a liability to the cause of life who use up much-needed pro-life resources with no visible results.
“They’re selling crazy and the vast majority of us are just not buying. I have no patience for them, I am ashamed and embarrassed for them and pray they may find their way back. I pray that pro-lifers who gave of their time, their money, and themselves don’t feel brow-beaten by those who stood in our way. Give no time or credence to those who will continue to stand in the way of any meaningful pro-life defense during these next four years.”

Give no time or credence to those who will continue to stand in the way of any meaningful pro-life defense during these next four years.”

Pro-Lifers Failed to Vote Pro-Life
Pro-Lifer Failed to Vote Pro-Life
In pursuit of the truth - cinops be gone - St. Frances Xavier Cabrini, Tues., Nov. 13, 2012
Preface: I am working on a letter titled, “Catholic Dioceses Re-Elect the CINOP.” It may begin as follows: SHOULD WE HAVE A PUNISHMENT one of shame, scandal, incompetence or resignation? A) They must cancel all so-called Catholic magazines like America, Commonweal and National Catholic Reporter. B) Require all Catholic clergy to listen to talk radio for one month like Rush Limbaugh [You may find out about the Watergate in Libya which is being covered up by the Obama regime and the Pravda news media.] or Dennis Prager. C) Require the purchase of Prager’s book, “Still the Best Hope” and do a book report on it. D) Require all clergy and those who work in the Diocese to read at least 199 letters of the 1600 posted on this blog and give a report.
Please read this very insightful letter: by Steven Erfelt [LifeNews.com] 11/8/12 - titled, “Exit Polling Data Shows Pro-Lifers Failed to Vote Pro-Life.” The following is the whole article:
“Exit polling data from Tuesday’s presidential election shows the pro-life movement may have itself to blame partly as pro-life voters failed to either show up to vote in the election or did not support pro-life candidate if they did.
“In May, Gallup reported that the percentage of Americans who identify themselves as supporting legalized abortion has dropped to a record low.
“The 41% of Americans who now identify themselves as “pro-choice” is down from 47% last July and is one percentage point below the previous record low in Gallup trends, recorded in May 2009,” the polling firm noted. On the other hand, 51 percent of Americans call themselves pro-life, one percentage point away from the record high.
“With 51-41 percentage-point pro-life split in the number of Americans who take a position on abortion, pro-life Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney should have had a greater percentage of the popular vote on Tuesday. President Barack Obama, who favors unlimited abortions throughout pregnancy, takes a position that very few Americans support.
“Despite the breakdown, exit polling data shows just 36 percent of voters who showed up to the polls took a pro-life position supporting making all or most abortions illegal while 59 percent took a pro-abortion position favoring keeping all or abortions legal.
“The disconnect in the numbers mean one of a number of things happened: a) pro-life voters did not turn out in the same numbers as abortion advocates, b) pro-life voters went to the polls and either voted for a third-party candidate* or did not vote in the presidential election, or c) pro-life voters supported the most pro-abortion president in history.
“Much of the response to the presidential election has revolved around how the Obama campaign did a much better job turning out his supporter than the Romney team. If that’s the case, and pro-life voters stayed home, they did the pro-life cause a terrible disservice and have potentially left unborn children without legal support for another 40 years if President Obama can continue packing the Supreme Court with abortion activist.
“If b) and c) are true, and pro-life voters either supported Obama or voted for another candidate and failed to support the nominee who had pledged to help overturn Roe, sign pro-life bills, de-fund abortion and Planned Parenthood, the pro-life movement needs to do a better job convincing these people how to truly vote pro-life.”
George H. Kubeck, *I AM CANCELLING DONATIONS TO JUDIE’S BROWN’S ‘AMERICAN LIFE LEAGUE.’ IN PAST YEARS, SHE HAS RECEIVED ABOUT $120. YEARLY. We lost Florida by 74,000 votes. Judie Brown foolishly recommended voting for a third-party.

1. J.C. Penney Digs Deeper Sales Hole by Dana Mattioli and Karen Talley, Wall Street Journal, Saturday/Sunday, Nov. 10-11, 2012, B-l.
“J.C. Penney Co.’s sales last quarter went from bad to worse. The department-store chain, in the middle of a long and painful turnaround under former Apple Inc. retail executive RON JOHNSON, said its sales fell 27% in the three months ended Oct. 27, a sign the company continues to stumble as the key holiday-selling season approaches.
“The drop was worse than Wall Street analysts had feared, and shares in the Plano, Texas-based company fell as much as 10% on Friday before rebounding to finish down nearly 5% at $20.62 on the day.
“Penney’s sales over the first nine months of its fiscal year have fallen by $2.7 billion, nearly equivalent to the annual revenue of store chain SAKS Inc.
“Penney reported a third-quarter loss of $123 million, or 56 cents a share - narrower than the $143 million, or 56 cents a share - narrower than the $143 million a year earlier as the company cut costs and spent less on restructuring.
“Mr. Johnson, who joined Penney as CEO a year ago from Apple’s vaunted retail operations, said the company wouldn’t diverge from the strategy he laid out last January of sharply limited discounts in favor of broadly lower everyday prices….”

What is remarkable about the above business story is that the informed and concerned American citizens have boycotted Penney since Mr. Johnson became CEO? This has been censored by the mainstream media. Thanks to American Family Association we are boycotting Penney because of their support for the homosexual agenda and same-sex marriage. AFA is a Christian organization promoting the biblical ethic of decency in American society with emphasis on moral issues that impact families. www.afa.net - E-mail randall@afa.net Why don’t Catholic leaders have such an organization? The good news with the boycott is that we are succeeding. I personally still have a suit purchased from Penney which I still have to wear. Also I tore up Penney’s $10. coupon. I shopped at Sears and got some good sweaters.
The message is that HOME DEPOT and STARBUCKS are promoting same-sex marriage. I understand HOME DEPOT got some credit in the passage of same-sex marriage in New York. McDonald’s changed their minds on same-sex marriage. HOME DEPOT and STARBUCKS must be boycotted.
2.) We have a national crisis with the reelection of President Barack Obama. The “Public Notice- 14 Days No-Emails” is revoked. I have already posted four letters on the blog which I have not e-mailed. A) Winning does not make it right. B) What is Secular Feminism? C) A Cult Presidency D) The Reality of an Economic Meltdown. Also, the election was God’s judgment on America, and the shock that Catholics voted 50% for Obama and 48% for Romney. Our country and its values are worth fighting for. Tragically, our president Barack Obama is using the bully pulpit in sowing bad seeds including same-sex marriage and its influence on our young people to change their minds.
