Excerpts from an article by Martin Wisckol in the Orange County Register, Thursday, Sep. 10, 2015

     Everything possible must be done to inform all voters and non-voters of the closing remarks of Ben Carson to 6,000 of his supporters at the Anaheim Convention Center on Wed. Sep. 9, 2015.

(Access to the entrance and walking to the speaking area took more than 30 minutes.)

    

    Carson closed the rally with a thinly veiled reference to President Barack Obama, speaking in the first person of what a president would do if he wanted to destroy the country." I would try to create friction between all the people," he said. "I would have a war on women and race wars and income wars and business wars. I would drive the debt to unimaginable levels to destabilize things. I would bring in people from other countries and give them benefits. I would weaken our military while our enemies were growing.

     "That's what I would do. Any similarity to what's going on now is purely coincidental." The crowd erupted before Carson continued . "You can see why it's so important (to) not allow ourselves to be manipulated."

     The above has been obvious to any informed rational American. But the silence of the mainstream media and the Republican leadership on this matter has been shameful.  The elites have betrayed our country.  For lack of information and leadership our country is being destroyed.

     Now for some quotes from Ben Carson's talk.

1. Our system ( of government) was designed for the citizen statesman not for politicians.

2. My entire professional career was spent for children to give them longevity of life.

3. Ben started a National Scholarship with graduates in every state of the Union.

4. Saving lives is the most wonderful thing in the world as good or better than business or politics.

5. We lived in Detroit. Saw people on the streets with bullet holes. My mother is the hero in my life. She had two to three jobs. The poem, "Yourself to blame." Wallow is an excuse, decide, it depends on you. I find this to be the case.

6. I hated poverty. Mother said turn off the TV and read books. As I started reading those books, people who have accomplished anything. Poverty was only temporary. I can change my circumstance. You will use your own efforts.

7. We (Americans) are very compassionate people... Coast to coast people helped one another. We, the people cared about each other. It is not the government's  policy to take care of everyone.

8. On immigration, look at the big picture. We have a porous border in Arizona. Border patrol needs to be at the border, not inland. Impressed with Sheriffs down there.

9. Heroin is pouring into our country. We have the ability to shut our border. Exercise logic and common sense.

10. Deep concern for our fiscal irresponsibility. 18 Trillion in debt. Unfair to our young people. Unfunded liabilities amount to 200 Trillion. Politicians do not want to talk about it. I am not a politician. Accelerating the fiscal collapse of our nation.

11. Our Founders said: Our country depends on a well informed and educated population. (We do not have that today.) Ben will inform and educate.

12. We have the highest corporate tax rate in the world. Favors a tax holiday to bring in the 2 Trillion dollars located in other countries. It will spark a boon in our economy, with ten percent of the moneys invested in creating new jobs...

13. In 2012, 93 million people did not vote. When you don't vote you are voting for the other side.

Get involved and get three others to vote.

14. On the subject of God. Our Founding documents mention God. Our pledge - One nation under God. Our money - In God We Trust.

15. A crucial responsibility of Congress is to protect with legislation the religious rights of citizens.

Questions: Why do you want to get into politics which is very dirty? Answer- for the sake of the children. When are you going to grow up, from a child? I have grown up to care of your future.
