THIS IS A SUPREME INSULT NOT ONLY TO CATHOLICS BUT ALSO TO ALL CHRISTIAN DENOMINATIONS IN AMERICA!

POPE FRANCIS IS A GOOD POPE. WHO ARE HIS ADVISORS IN THIS MATTER? WE WANT THEIR NAMES? WE CALL FOR THEIR NAMES!

THIS IS ALSO AN INSULT TO ST. JOHN PAUL II, THE GOSPEL OF LIFE, THE CATECHISM OF THE CATHOLIC CHURCH, AND POPE EMERITUS BENEDICT XVI.

 

"In this role, Cupich will now exercise one of the most important roles in deciding who to appoint as new bishops in the United States. Cupich is said to have been hand-picked by Pope Francis for his prominent position as Archbishop of Chicago. ... Cupich is a prominent "progressive" who has earned frequent criticism for his actions on issues such as life and family. Here are several of his positions.

 

1.) "When he was bishop of Spokane, Washington, Cupich requested that priests and seminarians of his diocese not participate in 40 Days for Life prayer vigils outside abortion facilities.

 

2.) In August 2015, in the wake of the Center for Medical Progress videos exposing Planned Parenthood's baby parts trafficking scandal, Cupich wrote that unemployment and hunger are just as appalling as killing children in the womb.

 

 3.) Cupich has openly contradicted Catholic canon law on giving Holy Communion to those in a state of mortal sin. Shortly after his appointment as Archbishop of Chicago, Cupich saidthat giving Holy Communion to pro-abortion politicians can be a good thing. Canon 915 of the Code of Canon Law instructs those "conscious of grave sin" on their soul to refrain from Holy Communion.

(For penance Cupich should be required to read more than the 1800 letters on my blog, "Catholic-in-name-only politicians be gone."

 

4.) At the 2015 Synod of the Family, Cupich said that it is permissible for same-sex couples and the divorced and remarried to receive Holy Communion in accordance with their consciences. According to Catechism of the Catholic Church, proper consciences are formed according to the teachings of the Church. "Conscience can remain in ignorance or make erroneous judgments. Such ignorance and errors are not always free of guilt," the Catechism teaches (CCC 1801).

 

5. In 2002, when he was the Bishop of Rapid City, South Dakota, Cupich locked the doors of a Catholic parish during the Easter Tridium, one of the holiest points of the Catholic liturgical year, in order to prevent Traditional Latin Masses from taking place. The church was forced to hold its Good Friday liturgies on the sidewalk." (Bishop Cupich seems to have an evil progressive heart.)
