THIS ELECTION IS ABOUT ISSUES NOT PERSONALITY # 1 OF 4

THIS ELECTION IS ABOUT ISSUES NOT PERSONALITY # 1 of 4

In pursuit of the truth - http://www.cinopsbegoneblogspot.com - Sunday Oct. 30, 2016
Preface:
"On October 30, 1892 the United States Supreme Court made and exhaustive study of the connection between Christianity and the government of the United States. After researching hundreds of volumes of historical documents, the Court asserted: "these references add a volume of unofficial declarations to the mass of organic utterances that this is a religious people... a Christian nation."
Similarly, in 1951, Supreme Court Justice George Sutherland ... reiterated that Americans, are a "Christian people." And in 1952, Justice William O. Douglas affirmed we are a religious people and our institutions presupposes a Supreme Being." Foster, Covenant, 19
Start: The presidential election is about issues not personality. For Christians especially Catholics, it's about St. John Paul II's  the culture of life versus the culture of death. There about 101 major and minor issues for the pro-life, pro-marriage and pro-family movements in the United States. I will begin to list them.

Everything possible must be done to get Christian voters to the polling places. It's a question of do or die. It's  about the nature of the country we live in. If you want to be a different country and want to  transform America into a leftist and progressive country similar to Europe, you vote for Hillary Clinton and the Democratic candidates. The Catholic vote has already been misinformed in California, New York and other states.  But today, there is hope in the rust belt states of the nation and in Florida, Pennsylvania and Michigan.
A pro-life President and Congress, we will be able to:
1. Supreme Court: Nominate pro-life Justices, possible three of them.
2. Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act: Sign into law and it would end painful late-term abortions nation wide.
3. De-fund Planned Parenthood: Then re-allocate their funding to community health centers that provide comprehensive health care for women.
4. Hyde Amendment: Make it permanent. It will also insure that taxpayer dollars are prevented from going toward abortion through Medicaid Funding.
5. Repeal the HHS Mandate: This mandate threatens Catholic charities, schools and organizations.
6. Pass Critical Protections for Religious Liberty: This includes the 1st Amendment Defense Act.
7. Protect Catholic Social Services Agencies: Not strip them of grants unless they agree to promote abortion.
8. Stop Forcing Catholic Hospitals to Perform Abortions:  The vicious ACLU campaign  is to force abortions or be fined, stripped of Medicare and Medicaid funds, or shut down.

GEORGE H. KUBECK: THE TRUMP INTERVIEW WITH RAYMOND ARROYO WILL BE BROADCAST ON EWTN AGAIN ON  MONDAY, OCTOBER 31 AT 10 P.M. EDT. (7 P.M. PACIFIC TIME)

P.S. As we approach our national election day, we need to pay heed to these words of Charles Finney. America's great 19th century evangelist:
"The time has come that Christians must vote for honest men and take consistent ground in politics, or the Lord will curse them ... God cannot sustain this free and blessed country, which we love and pray for, unless the Church will take right ground. Politics are a part of religion in such a country as this, and Christians must do their duty to the country as a part of their duty to God." Finney, Lectures, 297
