Abortion: Catholic Vote fought hard in favor of a ban on dismemberment abortions for children who'd reached 20 weeks in their mothers' wombs. But 14 Catholic Senators (12 Democrats and 2 Republicans) blocked and attempt to end this gruesome practice. This occurred on Jan 29th. The United States is one of only seven countries in the world - a short list that includes Communist China and North Korea - that has such an extreme position on abortion....
New York's Cardinal Timothy Dolan called the Senate's action "appalling" and a rejection of "common sense." The Cardinal went on to explain that these abortions usually involve "brutally dismembering a defenseless unborn child, while also posing serious dangers to his or her mother." (Hope to hear some news of Cardinal Dolan talking to Senator Kirsten Gillibrand of New York.)
It was Archbishop Naumann who called out-Democratic Vice Presidential candidate Tim Kane during the 2016 Election, saying he was an example of a politician who flaunted this Catholic background but spewed a lot of pro-choice rhetoric. When they do this, they're taking on a teaching role and misleading our people. This is precisely the type of leadership faithful Catholics need from our bishops....Check our internet search engine - bit.ly?CVNPatheos)
So Catholic Vote wants every Catholic in America to know just who these 14 "Catholic" Senators are:
Maria Cantwell, (D-WA), Dick Durbin (D-IL), Heidi Heitkamp (D-ND), Patrick Leahy (D VT), Catherine Cortez Masto, (D-NV), Bob Mendez (D-NJ), Patty Murray (D-WA), Susan Collins (R-ME), Kirsten Gillibrand, (D-NY), Tim Kane (D-VA), Ed Markey, (D-MA), Claire McCaskill (D-MO), Lisa Murkowski,(R-AL), Jack Reed, (D-RI).
B. Washington, March 1, 2012 (LifesiteNews.com - "The 13 Catholic Senators who voted against allowing Catholic organizations conscience rights." -Today, the U.S. Senate, by a vote of 51 -48, defeated the effort led by Senator Roy Blunt, (Missouri) to pass the Respect for Rights of Conscience Act as an amendment to pending legislation. Thirteen Catholic Senators joined the majority.
The amendment, offered by Sen. Roy Blunt, R-MO, rolled back Barack Obama's invasive Health and Human Services mandate that employers insure contraceptives, sterilization, and abortion-inducing drugs with no co-pay. While the health care reform law exempts churches, it would force religious institutions such as hospitals and universities to underwrite products that violate their deeply held religious beliefs.
"By consenting to the disastrous HHS mandate, the U.S. Senate has taken the unprecedented step to deny our religious liberties instead of defending the Constitution," said Matt Smith, president of Catholic Advocate. "It is disappointed to witness a group of senators misled on this issue at the expense of Catholic and American key founding principles.
C. Personal Comments:
These 13 CINOPS were not misled. They knew what they were doing. Historically, they made it possible for the election of President Obama twice. Without the Catholic vote, Obama would not have been elected President. The culture of death news media loves the CINOP; covers and promotes him.
So the Catholics in America were duped and still are. President Obama was the equivalent of a Saul Alinsky* in the White House. (On Sun. June 10th, 10:30 A/M. Pacific Time, EWTN will have a DVD on Saul Alinsky, A Wolf in Sheep's Clothing.) In the past and present, we have had many so-called Catholics working with these two characters and promoting their agenda and undermining American and Catholic historical principles. In the past, we have had Catholic Communists and Catholic Nazis. The CINOP is a curse on America. Catholic voters have been made fools BY THE CINOPS. Dear Bishops,"The Mormons and Baptists leaders would not put up with this deceit." George H. Kubeck
