U.S. CATHOLIC BISHOPS AND THE CATHOLIC-IN-NAME-ONLY POLITICIANS

U.S. CATHOLIC BISHOPS AND CATHOLIC-IN-NAME-ONLY POLITICIANS
IN PURSUIT OF THE TRUTH - HTTP://WWW.CINOPSBEGONEBLOGSPOT.COM - FRI. MAY 25, 2018
Preface:
"Do not complain, brothers and sisters, about one another, that you may not be judged.Behold, the Judge is standing before the gates.... You heard of the perseverance of Job, and you have seen the purpose of the Lord, because the Lord is compassionate and merciful.... let your "Yes" mean "Yes" and your "No" mean "No," ...  Letter of St. James, 5:9-12
This letter is addressed to American  Catholic bishops who are in purgatory. You are there thanks to God's mercy and possibly because of your failure to do anything about the "Catholic-in-name-only Politicians" in your diocese. This is a horrendous scandal.

These thoughts are brought to my mind daily in the "Litany for the Poor Souls in Purgatory." - "Those whose sentence is severe because of the great things entrusted to them. The popes, kings and rulers. The bishops and their counselors. My teachers and spiritual advisers. The priests and religious of the Catholic Church. The defenders of the Holy Faith."

Think about it!  Your ignorance of what you ought to do; was no excuse. Neither was your strong bias for one of the political parties. You had a double standard. For if he or she was of the other political party, you would have censured him and called him out and forbidden him or her  from receiving Holy Communion.

Your were also in total ignorance of what is happening in the country. It  was your decision. You listened to CNN only,  and other secular news channels. It was not in good taste to listen to Fox or talk show hosts on radio, like Dennis Prager or Rush Limbaugh. Your were just too proud and TOO smart for them. You were not a Catholic bishop,  You were a Politically Correct and Religiously Correct bishop.

Still today, dear bishops in purgatory, many Catholic bishops ignore canon 915 and distribute Holy Communion, which the Church teaches is the literal body, blood, soul, and divinity of Jesus Christ to  public officials who actively advocate for abortion while purporting to be Catholic."

A. For many years, the U.S.A. Poster girl/boy for the CINOP is Nancy Pelosi: In a (LifeSiteNews.com) article, dated Louisville, Ky, Sept. 20 2013 - Cardinal Burke: Nancy Pelosi 'MUST' be denied Communion.
"In a wide-ranging interview, Cardinal Raymond Burke has issued an emphatic call for pro-abortion politicians like House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi to be denied Communion....
"Asked about Pelosi, he said, "Certainly this is a case when Canon 915 must be applied. Canon 915 states that those who are "Obstinately persevering in manifest grave sin are not to be admitted to Holy Communion. "This is a person who obstinately, after repeated admonitions, persists in a grave sin - cooperating with the crime of procured abortion - and still professes to be a devout Catholic," the cardinal said. "I fear for Congresswoman Pelosi if she does not understand how gravely in error she is, I invite her to reflect upon the example of St. Thomas More who acted rightly in a similar situation even at the cost of his life." ...
B.Here is the most recent headline from LifeSite - Washington, DC. April 25, 2018:                                                "Pelosi: We'll use Pro-life Democrats to Build a Pro-Abortion Majority."

"Some pro-life figures and groups like the Susan B. Anthony List supported Lipinski as a "pro-life hero," but Lipinski's victory would ...  help a pro-abortion majority retake the U.S. House of Representatives. "I supported him, I took the heat for it. He's pro-life," Pelosi said. "But we'll have a pro-choice gavel when we win the Congress. We need to have at least 218 vote to achieve that." ...
The Democratic Party has hardened its pro-abortion stance over the past several election cycles. The party's 2012 convention removed from its national platform rhetoric calling for abortion to be made "rare," and the 2016 version added language declaring abortion a "core aspect" of all Americans' well-being" and calling for the federal government to overturn state pro-life laws."                               George H. Kubeck
