IS THE CINOP A SELF-HATING CATHOLIC?

Is the CINOP a self-hating Catholic?
In pursuit of the truth- www.cinopsbegone.com – Wednesday, Jan. 14, 2010

I am talking about the Catholic-in-name-only politician. We do not have that phenomenon among our Evangelicals or Baptist politicians promoting the intrinsic evils of abortion on demand, same-sex marriage and embryonic stem-cell research.

We do not have that politician in Poland or Nigeria. It probably depends on the culture of the country this politician lives in. We have the CINOP in Canada. They are the ones (Liberals) who passed same-sex marriage in the Canadian Parliament about 5 years ago. In the U.S.A. they are 95% within the Demo Party.

So let’s take a look at the LifeSiteNews.com article of Jan. 7, 2009 (InsideCatholic.com) – Catholic Politicians Supporting Same-Sex Marriage Legislation – Commentary by Deal W. Hudson

Writing for the Catholic Advocate, Matt Smith reports that 39 of the 106 cosponsors of a House bill that would repeal the Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA) are “self-identified” Catholics. Smith, a former associate director of the White House Office of Public Liaison, warns that same-sex marriage activists are trying to bring H.R. 3567 – ironically, titled the “Respect for Marriage Act 2009” – to the House floor this year.

The end of DOMA would mean 40 states would be required to recognize same-sex marriage. As Smith writes, the political fallout would be enormous: “Democrats will have learned nothing from the current health care debate or the voices of the voters in the states that have repealed gay marriage initiatives…

In 1996, the Catholic bishops in the U.S. expressed that teaching this way:
We oppose attempts to grant the legal status of marriage to a relationship between
persons of the same-sex. No same-sex union can realize the unique and full potential which the marital relationship expresses.. For this reason, our opposition to “same-sex marriage” is not an instance of unjust discrimination or animosity towards homosexual person.

It looks like we have the same Cinops who are in the effort to procure abortion funding in the Health Care are also promoting to change the legal status of marriage in direct contradiction to the teaching of the Catholic Church. Besides Rep. Rose DeLauro (D-CT) and Rep. Patrick Kennedy (D-RI), we have five from California. They are:

Rep. Xavier Becerra (D, CA-31), Rep. George Miller (D, CA-7), Rep. Lucille Roybal-Allard (D-CA-34), Rep. Linda Sanchez (D-39), and Rep. Diane Watson (D, CA-33).

George H. Kubeck – (Resign Eric Holder Resign. Why? Wrong-headed decisions in 2009)

P.S.The above info drives me up the wall. Repeal DOMA! It’s not America anymore! Is that normal for a U.S. Catholic? It is obviously not normal for many politically and religiously-correct minded U.S. Catholic writers in magazines like America, Commonweal, and National Catholic Reporter who want to ignore the above and not inform and educate the Catholic community about what’s going on.

The CINOP is an albatross and atrocious scandal around our country’s neck. If you care about close elections and defeating Catholic-label politician Loretta Sanchez; volunteer to work in precinct training. I will be attending the one on Monday, Jan. 25th 5:30 P.M. Please telephone- Randy Terrell 714-453-0900.
