Frances Kissling- Culture of Death Quisling
cinops be gone Sunday, August 31, 2008
During World War II, the Nazis in Europe had quisling governments in France, Norway and other countries. They were Hitler clones. I want you to meet quisling-kissling an advocate extraordinaire and puppet of the American culture of death advocates. Pope John Paul II coined the term. May I share with you excerpts from an article by Mathew Cullinan Hoffman, New York, Aug. 15, 2008 (LIfeSiteNews.com) SHE, MADE COMMENTS ON THE DEMOCRATIC PLATFORM?
Frances Kissling is past president of “Catholics for a Free Choice”, an organization repeatedly condemned by the Catholic Church for deceiving Catholics into believing that the pro-abortion position is compatible with their religion. The Ford Foundation was one of her financial backers to purposely confuse Catholics within America on abortion and they have succeeded.
Headline News by Matthew Cullinan Hoffman, N. Y., Aug. 15/08 LifeSiteNews.com
1.) Kissling is a past president of “Catholics for a Free Choice”, an organization repeatedly condemned by the Catholic Church for deceiving Catholics into believing that the pro-abortion position is compatible with religion.
2.) Kissling acknowledges that the new Democratic Party platform favors the
cause of abortion and sex education, even more so than in previous years.
3.) Kissling notes that the new platform “derives its moral authority from
‘a woman right to choose safe and legal abortion’”, unlike older ones that
spoke merely of “privacy.”
4.) She is delighted that the platform makes no mention about making
abortion “rare”, and mentions for the first time “sex education” which is frequently used to promote contraception, abortion, “alternative lifestyles” and extra-marital sex.
5.) “A notable omission is the Clintonian phrase ‘safe, legal and rare,’
replaced by a more honest and modest goal of reducing unintended
pregnancy through better health care, family planning and comprehensive sex education. Sex education was not even mentioned in the old Platform.” Kissling writes.
6.) “In all other areas, the Platform uses strong language of commitment: the
Democratic Party ‘strongly and unequivocally supports Roe’ and strongly ‘supports access to affordable family planning services,” she writes….
7.) After decades of struggling to achieve social legitimacy to abortion,
Kissling and fellow pro-abortion leader Kate Michaelman published a statement earlier expressing their frustration at having lost the moral high ground in the debate over what they call “reproductive health” – a euphemism that includes abortion on demand and noted that the pro-life movement is gaining ground.
P.S. Catholics for a Free Choice is fundamentally a diabolical organization. They promote the culture of death agenda advocates, ACLU, Planned Parenthood, NOW and NARAL. You can understand why their lies and propaganda have influenced Catholics and other Christians to become pro-choice on abortion.

We continue with Jonah Goldberg’s classic book, “Liberal Fascism” 272-273
“A fair minded person cannot read Sanger’s books, articles, and pamphlets today without finding similarities not only to Nazi eugenics but to the dark dystopias of the feminist imagination found in such allegories as Margaret Atwood’s Handmaid’s Tale. As editor of the Birth Control Review, Sanger regularly published the sort of hard racism we normally associate with Goebbels or Himmler.
Indeed after she resigned as editor, the Birth Control Review ran articles by people who worked for Goebbels and Himmler. For example, when the Nazi eugenics program was first getting wide attention, The Birth Control Review was quick to cast the Nazis in a positive light, giving over its pages for an article titled “Eugenic Sterilization: An Urgent Need,” by Ernst Rudin, Hitler’s director of sterilization and a founder of the Nazi Society for Racial Hygiene. In 1926 Sanger proudly gave a speech to a KKK rally in Silver Lake, New Jersey.
One of Sanger’s closest friends and influential colleagues was the white supremacist Lothrop Stoddard, author of The Rising Tide of Color against White World-Supremacy. In the book he offered his solution for the threat posed by the darker races: “Just as we isolate bacterial invasions, and starve out the bacteria, by limiting the area and amount of their food supply, so we can compel an inferior race to remain in its native habitat.” When the book came out, Sanger was sufficiently impressed to invite him to join the board of directors of the American Birth Control League.
Sanger’s genius was to advance Ross’s campaign for social control by hitching the racist-eugenic campaign to sexual pleasure and female liberation. In her “Code to Stop Overproduction of Children,” published in 1934, she decreed that “no woman shall have a legal right to bear a child without a permit … no permit shall be valid for more than one child.” But Sanger couched this fascistic agenda in the argument that “liberated” women wouldn’t mind such measures because they don’t really want large families in the first place. In a trope that would be echoed by later feminists such as Betty Friedan, she argued that motherhood itself was a socially imposed constraint on the liberty of women. It was a form of what Marxists called false consciousness to want a large family.
Sanger believed prophetically enough – that if women conceived of sex as first and foremost a pleasurable experience rather than a procreative act, they would embrace birth control as necessary tool for their own personal gratification. She brilliantly uses the language of liberation to convince women they weren’t going along with a collectivist scheme but were in fact “speaking truth to power,” as it were. This was the identical trick the Nazis pulled off. They took a radical Nietzschean doctrine of individual will and make it into a trendy dogma of middle-class conformity. This trick remains the core of much faddish “individualism” among rebellious conformists on the American cultural left today. Nonetheless, Sanger’s analysis was surely correct, and led directly to the widespread feminist association of sex with political rebellion. Sanger in effect “bought off” women (and grateful men) by offering tolerance for promiscuity in return for compliance with her eugenics schemes." To be continued

10 Truths - 3- The Gives Gives Guidance for Govern.
10 Truths –3 - The Bible Gives
Guidance for Government
Memorial – The beheading of St. John the Baptist Friday, August 29, 2008
We continue with Coral Ridge’s “10 Truths about Christians and Politics. 29- 31
The Bible is very much a political handbook. After all, its central figure is the “King of Kings and Lord of Lords” and many of its lesser characters – Moses, Joshua, Samson, Deborah, David, Solomon, and Daniel – were all political leaders. Two Old Testament books are called “Kings.”
The Bible gives us both the Mosaic legal code – a detailed set of civil laws designated for ancient Israel, but with clear applications for modern states – as well as a set of first principles to guide our thinking about civil government.
Lord of All – including Politics:
The first such principle is that God is sovereign – even over politics. The psalmist cries out that “The Lord has established His throne in heaven, and his kingdom rules over all” (Psalm 103:19). “To deny that this area {politics} of decision-making is to be affected by religion is to deny the lordship of Jesus Christ over a particular are of life.” writes historian Gary DeMar, president of American Vision.
God also determines who’s up and who’s down. Civil rulers, ultimately, are “elected” by God: “But God is the Judge: He puts down one, and exalts another” (Psalm 75:7). Pharaoh held sway over Egypt and the children of Israel – but only because God placed him there for a reason. “But indeed for this purpose,” Gold told Pharaoh through Moses, “I have raised you up, that I may show My power in you, and that My name be declared in all the earth” (Exodus 9:16.
A PRIMARY PURPOSE OF CIVIL GOVERNMENT IS TO PROVIDE ORDER AND JUSTICE TO RESTRAIN THE WICKED ACTS OF MEN SO THAT CITIZENS MAY BE FREE TO SEEK GOD. PAUL TOLD GREEK THINKERS THAT GOD ‘MADE FROM ONE BLOOD EVERY NATION OF MEN TO DWELL ON ALL THE FACE OF THE EARTH, AND HAS DETERMINED THEIR PREAPPOINTED TIMES AND THE BOUNDARIES OF THEIR DWELLINGS, SO THAT THEY SHOULD SEEK THE LORD”(ACTS 17:26-27) Toward that end, Christians are told to pray “for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence” (1 Timothy 2:1-3)
Separation of Church and State in the Bible:
The Bible also teaches – and this may surprise you – the separation of church and state. Now this doesn’t mean a wall should quarantine Christians from the civic life of the nation. Rather, this is a biblically based distinction which allots to church and state separate duties under God’s sovereign reign. The ancient Jewish king Uzziah discovered that distinction, to his great regret, when he tried to usurp the role of the priests.

P.S. Archbishop Charles J. Chaput, O.F.M. has written a provocative book, Render unto Caesar. Raymond Arroyo interviewed the Archbishop on EWTN last week. Abortion violates human dignity and the common good. The right to life is foundational & supports the rest of our structure. The book is reasonably priced.

The Pied Piper Barack Obama
The Pied Piper Barack Hussein Obama
cinops be gone Thursday, August 28, 2008
We have a stealth candidate running for President of the United States. How is that possible? Can we blame the corrupt media which did not vet him? The Hillary campaign believes this. Hillary would have been the more trustworthy.
An ounce of prevention is worth 50 million pounds of cure. I am sorry to compare the election of Obama to abortion but that is the reality. All of this has just been reinforced by Bill Buckley’s National Review edition September 1, 2008. On the cover is Obama – Enigma – Who is Obama? This is a Special “All Hope and Change” Information. Barack’s book, “Dreams of My Father” will drive you up the wall. This N.R. edition (Sept. 1/08) is a gold mine of information on Obama. Buy it.
Let’s check out Barack’s program for America in the area of American Values, Taxes and Spending and National Security - www.ObamaFactSheet.com. (It claims The Truth, The Whole Truth, and Nothing But The Truth.) Check out these truths from other sources.
American Families:
Barack Obama said Americans in small towns are “bitter” and “they cling to guns or religion.” Iowa Democratic Governor Tom Vilsack called Obama’s comments about small town Americans “condescending and disappointing.”
While in the Illinois State Legislature Barack Obama’s version of “leadership” included voting “present” more than 100 times in an effort to avoid tough votes on abortion, crime, and gun related issues.
During his campaign for the state legislature, Barack Obama filled out a candidate questionnaire stating he supported “banning the manufacture, sale and possession of handguns” in America.
Barack Obama supports allowing gay marriage in California and has called the efforts there to protect traditional marriage “divisive and discriminatory.”
While serving in the Illinois Legislature, Barack Obama led a successful effort to kill a proposed law that was designed to protect infants born alive during botched late-term abortions.
Taxes and Spending:
During his short time in the U.S. Senate, Barack Obama has voted for higher taxes at least 94 times.
Barack Obama voted against providing marriage tax relief.
Barack Obama voted against extending the $1,000 per child tax credit.
Barack Obama plans to increase the income tax and taxes on dividends.
12 years after Bill Clinton declared the era of big government over,
Barack has already proposed at least $300 Billion in new annual spending….
Barack has announced plans to increase capital gains taxes, and the payroll tax. Hillary described this one idea alone as a $1 TRILLION tax increase.
National Security:
While in Europe earlier this Summer, Barack declared himself a “citizen of the world.” Obama has refused to admit the surge has been a massive success.
Barack’s position in Iraq is set in stone – he says he will surrender regardless of any advice he receives from commanders like General Petraeus.
Obama’s vote against funding for the U.S. troops in Iraq , Democrat and now V.P. Sen. Joe Biden said, “This isn’t cutting off the war. This is cutting off support that will save the lives of thousands of American troops.”…

Pelosi’s Interview on Meet the Press
Speaker Pelosi’s Interview on Meet the Press (Aug. 24, 2008)
August 27, 2008
Pelosi was asked when human life begins. She said the following, “I would say that as an ardent, practicing Catholic, this is an issue that I have studied for a long time. And what I know is over the centuries, the doctors of the Church have not been able to make that definition… St. Augustine said at three months. We don’t know. The point is, is that it shouldn’t have an impact on the woman’s right to choose.”
Shepherds of the Catholic Church
United States of America
My dear Shepherds:
Please consider the following questions:
1. What percentage of people living within the Archdiocese of Los Angeles are you able to teach about life issues?
2. What percentage of people living within the Archdiocese of Los Angeles have access to Television and newspapers?
3. What percentage of the people living in the United States know and understand when life begins?
4. What percentage of people in the United State of America watched (or heard from others) Nancy Pelosi, the House Democratic Majority Leader strongly assert that she, raised as a practicing Catholic, had studied very carefully over many years, the Catholic Church’s inability to know when life begins?
5. What percentage of Americans who call themselves Catholic have little or no very basic knowledge of what the Catholic Church teaches?
Now if your parents and siblings had the misfortune of falling into # 4 & 5 categories, what might they believe when a very (intelligent?) articulate, well- known political figure speaks authoritatively but erroneously on the critical life issue of the Catholic Church? Furthermore, in spite of being corrected by 6-8 Catholic bishops (a very small percentage of Catholic bishops), insists a few days later that she stands by the statement she made on Meet the Press (Sun., August 24, 2008).
I hold the opinion that the silence by the cardinals, bishops and priests (on the Nancy Pelosi heresy) is scandalous and cries to heaven for God’s wrath. Every cardinal, bishop and priest has a serious moral obligation to speak out at every Mass, every day until all the souls they evangelize know, understand and believe the Truth that Satan tries to obliterate from the face of the earth. Do not be content to briefly mention this abomination that has been put before the people of America. Every Catholic newspaper and bulletin editor must publish and remind people that the Catholic Church has been teaching that life begins at conception for over 2,000 years!
I urge you to take into consideration very seriously the following from the Book of Ezekiel 3:17-21. “If I say to the wicked man, you shall surely die; and you do not warn him or speak out to dissuade him from his wicked conduct so that he may live: that wicked man shall die for his sin, but I will hold you responsible for his death…”
Sincerely and urgently for the Name of Christ,
Michaelene Kubeck

You claim to be a practicing Catholic. What does that mean? Does it mean only on Sundays and not in the public arena? I believe we can agree that a Catholic who promotes fornication, adultery and pornography in the public arena would not be Catholic, but a Catholic-label fraud politician.
What is it, in your voting record on the following ten issues that can identify you as a Christian, let alone a Catholic? Seven times you voted against the Catholic position; the other 3 times NV (absent or not voting). I can understand Obama’s religious views because of his brainwashing by his pastor Jeremiah Wright and black liberation theology. Maybe Catholic liberation theology and opportunism will explain your vote as follows: (From scorecard of Catholics in Congress- Catholic Advocate P.O. Box 96559, Washington, DC 20090-6559) or
thewindow@morleyinstitute.org
1.)The funding of overseas pro-abortion organizations (109th): You voted Yes in the Senate. Abortion is intrinsically evil and ought not to be promoted in other countries throughout the world.
2.)The funding of embryonic-killing stem cell research (H.R. 810) (109th): You voted Yes. I guess you didn’t think much of the natural law Catholic position and speak out in favor of adult stem-cell research. And this is also an absolute intrinsically evil decision on your part.
3.)Child Custody Protection Act (S.403): passage (109th). You voted No. I guess you are smarter than the Catholic Church’s position.
4.)Child Interstate Abortion Notification Act (CIANA) (109th). You voted No.
5.)Federal Marriage Amendment Act (109th): You voted NO. I can just see
Obama and his advisors getting all excited with these 5 votes. Why Joe thinks like we do. He is a smooth talker and he has the Catholic label. We need the Catholic vote in this election otherwise we lose the presidency. I don’t think you want to sell your soul for the Vice Presidency.
6.)Hardin Amendment to endorse Roe v. Wade (108th): You were NV (Absent
Or not voting) you thought ahead, and like Obama who had over 100 NV’s.
7.)Partial-Birth Abortion Ban Act of 2003: passage (108th). You were again NV. Joe, the hottest places in hell are reserved for those who remain neutral
during a moral crisis. Also, Obama’s “Freedom of Choice Act” would immediately overturn the ban on barbaric partial-birth abortion procedure.
8.)Abortion in military medical facilities (108th). You voted Yes.
9.)Feinstein Substitute Amendment (single-victim substitute) (108th):
You were NV. You thought that would be another good political decision.
10.)Unborn Victims of Violence Act: passage (108th) you voted No. Why?
Joe, you are a fellow traveler of what Pope John Paul II called America’s
Cultural of Death Advocates. (ACLU, NARAL, NOW, Planned Parenthood)
From the above votes you are a Catholic-in-name only politician. One very important reason that you have been chosen V.P. is to get the Catholic vote for Obama. Without the Catholic vote, you can’t win the general election. In some areas of the country, we have the most uninformed Catholic voters possible. In California, for example, Senator B. Boxer received 64 % of the Catholic vote to win. Boxer received only 43% of the Protestant vote. (L.A. Times B-7, Nov. 4, 08) I hope and pray that all Catholic-label fraud-politicians will be defeated this fall.
Respectfully,
George H. Kubeck, Duplicate and or translate in Spanish and Vietnamese.

Let’s keep in mind the Saints Paul, Dominic and Thomas Aquinas. What would their judgment call be on CINOP N. Pelosi? Let’s check out her past record.
1. She has voted against the ban on partial-birth abortions eight times.
2. On marriage, she is among the most radically anti-marriage members of Congress, and she works hard for the radical gay agenda.
3. She is opposed to the Marriage Protection Amendment.
4. She even was opposed to the 1996 Defense of Marriage Act.
5. She has voted against Parental Notification when minor children seek an abortion.
6. In 1998, she opposed a constitutional amendment to permit school prayer in the classroom.
7. In 1999, she opposed allowing state and local governments to display the TEN COMMANDMENTS on public property, including schools.
At a fund raiser in Northern California with 1300 participants, Nancy Pelosi referred to Barack Obama, “A leader whom God has blessed us at this time.”

House Speaker Pelosi Vows to Kill Defense of Marriage Act and Still Receive Communion by Peter Smith, San Francisco, Aug. 5, 2008 (LifeSiteNews.com)
US House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has vowed to join Barack Obama’s new crusade to kill the Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA) and promises to continue to fortify herself with Holy Communion from the Catholic Church for the campaign.
Pelosi told reporters at a press conference last Thursday that she plans to support Sen. Barack (D, Ill) in his effort to repeal the Defense of Marriage Act, should the American people elevate him to the presidency….
In a C-SPAN interview released on Sunday, Pelosi explained that while other US politicians had problems from their bishops denying them communion over abortion, she has continued to receive without any difficulty.
“I think some of it is regional,” “It all depends on the bishop of a certain region and fortunately for me communion has not been withheld.”
She added, “I’m a regular communicant so that it would be a severe blow to me if that were the case.” Pelosi is a Catholic whose legislative district is within the Archdiocese of San Francisco, led by Archbishop George Niederauer. (info@sfarchdiocese.org Pelosi receives communion often in the Washington Archdiocese led by Archbishop Donald Weurl…. (301) 853-4500
The Speaker has gone on record so far as to say in her new book, “Know Your Power” that her parents didn’t raise me to be a Speaker; they raised me to be holy.” However, Pelosi’s public behavior is scandalous and diabolical. ghk

Dr. Jack Wheeler on Obama
cinops be gone Monday, August 25, 2008
I received this e-mail which has a lot of substance to it.
Subject: Dr. Jack Wheeler
Jack Wheeler is a brilliant man who was the author of Reagan’s strategy to break the back of the Soviet Union with the star wars race and expose their inner weakness. For years he wrote a weekly intelligence update that was extremely interesting and well structured and informed. He consults (ed) with several mega corporations on global trends and the future, etc. I think he is in semi-retirement now. He is a true patriot with a no-nonsense approach to everything. He is also a somewhat well known mountain climber and adventurer.
Subject: Dr. Jack Wheeler Regarding Obama
Written by Dr. Jack Wheeler
The O-man, Barack Hussein Obama, is an eloquently tailored empty suit. No resume, no accomplishments, no experience, no original ideas, no understanding of how the economy works, no understanding of how the economy works, no understanding of how the world works, no balls, nothing but abstract empty rhetoric devoid of real substance.
He has no real identity. He is half-white, which he rejects. The rest of him is mostly Arab, which he hides but is disclosed by his non-African Arabic surname and his Arabic first and middle names as a way to triply proclaim his Arabic parentage to people in Kenya. Only a small part of him is African Black from his Luo grandmother, which he pretends he is exclusively.
What he isn’t, not a genetic drop of, is ‘African-American,’ the descendant of enslaved Africans brought to America chained in slave ships. He hasn’t s single ancestor who was a slave. Instead, his Arab ancestors were slave owners. Slave-trading was the main Arab business in East Africa for centuries until the British ended it.
Let that sink in: Obama is not the descendant of slaves; he is the descendant of slave owners. Thus he makes the perfect Liberal Messiah.
It’s something Hillary doesn’t understand – how some complete neophyte came out of the blue and stole the Dem nomination from her. Obamamania is beyond politics and reason. It is a true religious cult, whose adherents rejects Christianity yet still believe in Original Sin, transferring it from the evil of being human to the evil of being white.
Thus Obama has become the white liberals’ Christ, offering absolutions from the Sin of Being White. There is no reason or logic behind it, no faults or flaws of his can diminish it, no arguments Hillary could make of any kind can be effective against it. The absurdity of Hypocrisy Clothed in Human Flesh being their Savior is all the more cause for liberals to worship him: Credo quia absurdum, I believe it because it is absurd.
Thank heavens that the voting majority of Americans remain Christian and are in no desperate need of a phony savior.
Obama is a Zero. There is nothing really there. O=Zero. You can get a O=Zero bumper sticker for your car or A O=Zero t shirt. His candidacy is ridiculous and should not be taken seriously by any thinking American.

The Case against Loretta Sanchez - 3
The Case against Loretta Sanchez - 3
cinops be gone Sunday, August 24, 2008
The following are excerpts of a letter hand delivered to Congresswoman L. Sanchez.
U.S. House of Representative May 4, 2001
Congresswoman Loretta Sanchez (My home address)
123 Lewis St.
Garden Grove, Ca. 92840-4695
Dear Loretta,
It seems to me that the idea of a pro-abortion Catholic is about as ridiculous as Catholics for a free choice or pro-adultery Catholics sitting in the church pews.
Could we talk or communicate on this subject? Please share the three enclosures with your pastor or bishop.
I believe that the independent and informed Catholic laity prefers persuasion and dialogue on this subject rather than protests or teach-ins.

Postscript – May 10, 2001
Dear Reader,
The above letter was hand delivered to Loretta’s office. Similar letters with enclosures will be mailed to as many pro-abortion Catholic politicians as possible.
The tragedy of the pro-abortion Catholic politicians will be resolved within the Catholic Faith community. It may take five to ten years. It’s a life and death struggle. For example, these politicians are responsible for laws allowing partial-birth abortions.
Unfortunately, the necessary teach-ins and protests will extend into the public arena. (The secular libertines have no role to play in this internal faith matter.) Prayerfully, one hopes for a change of heart and mind by the pro-abortion Catholic politicians.
A prophetic interview with the late John Cardinal O’Connor published posthumously warned of the “paralysis we suffer as a nation”because of abortion and cautioned the nation about a rising “fear of the political system” by the American people. This 16 page interview was conducted in August, 1993.
“I think it’s not merely cynicism about the political system,” said the late Cardinal in the interview. “it’s fear of what the political system itself is capable of doing to a people, fear of the kind of laws legislators are capable of passing, fear of what people in the executive branch of government will do to get elected. And, always, I think, even if people find it difficult to articulate, the fear is for their own lives. The fear is for the integrity of human life.”
“I firmly believe,” the cardinal added, “that we will either be a free people without abortion, or we will be a slave people, slave to the violence against human life.” Copies of “A Nation in Need of Healing” are available on request from the “Movement for a Better America. P.O. Box 470, Mt. Freedom, NJ 07970 e-mail Mba4life@aol.com
Postscript – Aug. 24, 2008 – In Congress Loretta is a promoter of at least 3 absolute evils: partial-birth abortions (Infanticide), same-sex marriage and embryonic stem-cell research. All of these violate God’s natural law and are a moral blot on Orange County. Rosie Avila is her congressional opponent in Nov. 2008. She will be elected with your precinct work or financial support: Please contribute to ROSIE AVILA FOR CONGRESS – 1070 SOUTH VIA DE ROSA, ANAHEIM HILLS, and CA. 92807. (I am involved in both.)

Kansas Bishops and the Supreme Knight Speak out
cinops be gone Saturday, Aug. 24, 2008
This V.I.P. letter persuades Catholics, especially Knights, to be directly involved in the election process. For Orange County, California, this includes the passage of the marriage and parental notification ballot measures 8 and 4, and the defeat of Congresswoman Loretta Sanchez.
No Compromises: Kansas Bishops Declare Voting
For Abortion Candidate is “Evil”:
By Peter J. Smith, Kansas City, August 12, 2008 (LIfesiteNews.com) – A vote for a politician who supports abortion and same-sex “marriage” is nothing less than casting a vote for “evil” says a state conference of Catholic bishops.
In a voter’s guide released for the second time since 2006, the Kansas Catholic Bishops made it clear that Catholics would “commit moral evil” by voting for a candidate who embraces abortion, euthanasia, embryonic stem-cell research, human cloning and same-sex “marriage,” when a morally acceptable candidate is available.
The voter’s guide signed by Archbishop Joseph Naumann of Kansas, bishops Ronald Gilmore of Dodge City, Paul Coakley of Salina, and Michael Jackels of Wichita sends a strong message to Catholics that advancing pro-abortion candidates and their aims is incompatible with the Catholic Faith. The statement means trouble not only for Catholic politicians like pro-abortion US House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, but also for the conservative Catholic Doug Kmiec, a well known constitutional law professor who endorsed Obama as a “natural” for the Catholic vote.
Supreme Knights of Columbus Calls for Real “Change”
On Abortion and Catholic Revolt against Obama Nation!
By Peter J. Smith, Quebec City, Canada, August 7, 2008 (LifeSiteNews.com) Supreme Knight Carl Anderson addressed the 126th annual convention of the Knights of Columbus, the world’s largest Catholic fraternal organization, in Quebec City and pledged the Knights to fight abortion promoting politicians, who buy Catholic votes with their stand on other issues….
Anderson then committed the Knights to “end the political manipulation of Catholic voters by abortion advocates,” whom he accused of entangling “Catholic people with abortion killing.”…
“It is time to stop creating excuses for pro-abortion candidates. Catholics should no longer be asked to be partners in the abortion regime by voting for politicians who support abortion.”
“We will never succeed in building a culture of life if we continue to vote for politicians who defend and support a culture of death,” said Anderson to thunderous applause from the assembly. “It’s time that Catholics shine a bright line of separation between themselves and all those politicians of every political party who defend the abortion regime of Roe v. Wade.” …
In 2006, Pelosi and other pro-abortion leaders of the Democratic Party regained power in Congress by running a handful of pro-life Democrats and wooing back Catholic voters who supported George Bush on abortion and other social issues in 2004. However, Andersen says that this elections cycle the Knights are determined to send both Democrats and Republicans this message:
The pro-life is a Catholic vote and abortion advocates need not apply.
“Imagine if this year millions of Catholic voters simply said ‘no’ – ‘no’ to every candidate of every political party who supports abortion.” he declared. “It’s time we stop accommodating pro-abortion politicians, and it’s time we start demanding that they accommodate us.” Please forward this letter to all Knights.

10 Truths - 2 - Christianity - Best - Conclusion
Ten Truths – 2- Christianity – Best –Conclusion

Rule of Law:
The Roman Caesars, unfettered by legal or moral restrictions, had been prone to mercilessly dispatching their victims to death. Historian Alvin Schmidt reports that Tiberius enjoyed seeing his torture victims thrown into the sea, and a suspicious Caligula had his entire palace staff killed.
Christianity, however, brought a new ethic and new idea about the limits of civil authority. Ambrose the fourth century bishop of Milan, rebuked Emperor Theodosius I, telling him that “No one not even the emperor is above the law.” That challenge to the sovereignty of the Caesars, who required worship from their subjects and often threw them to the lions for refusing to do so, was a new thought for the ancient world. 24
It was a Christian idea that the king, like his subjects, was subject to the law. As Christianity took root, so did this revolutionary idea, and slowly it worked its way into Western law. As the first British monarch to rule over all of England, King Alfred the Great (849-899) place English law on an explicitly biblical foundation, drawing from “the Ten Commandments, the Laws of Moses, the Golden rule of Christ, and biblical principles.” According to one commentator, King Alfred’s published laws “were a creative effort of government unique in Europe and marked the beginning of a great age for England.”
As the Bible was applied to civic law, “the Christian church effected nothing short of a revolution in the forms of Western politics.” King Alfred also saw the connection between an educated populace and effective government and he promoted general education and insisted that his nobles read and learn Christian history. His view of government, he wrote was that”
‘Local government ought to be synonymous with local Christian virtue, otherwise it become local tyranny, local corruption and local iniquity.’
The idea that even the king was subject to the rule of law was tested 300 years later by the tyrannical rule of King John. But in 1215, the English barons, with the help of the Archbishop of Canterbury, Stephen Langton, and other ecclesiastical leaders, forced the king to submit himself to a written charter, the Magna Carta placed specific limitations on the king’s rule and, according to an American Bar Foundation publication, it provided “the foundation on which has come to rest the entire structure of Anglo-American constitutional liberties.” This landmark document, which clearly rested on the Holy Scripture, later served as the cornerstone for the American colonists’ claim that King George III had violated their rights as British subjects. 24-27
“The Bible,” as Dr. D. James Kennedy has written, “laid the foundations and principles upon which the Magna Carta was framed.” But can the Bible serve as a political handbook? The next chapter on Friday, Aug. 28th answers that question.

HOW RADICALS, ELITISTS, AND PSEUDO-EXPERTS SELL US CORRUPTION
DISGUISED AS FREEDOM – p. 9-11
This is from, “Whistleblower”, monthly by WorldnetDaily.com Ending Abortion.
“Americans have come to tolerate, embrace and even champion many things that would have horrified their parents’ generation – from easy divorce and unrestricted abortion-on-demand to extreme body piercing and teaching homosexuality to grade-schoolers. Does that means today’s Americans are inherently more morally confused and depraved than previous generations?
Of course not, says veteran journalist David Kupelian. But they have fallen victim to some of the most stunningly brilliant and compelling marketing campaigns in modern history.
“The Marketing of Evil” reveals how much of what Americans once almost universally abhorred has been packaged, perfumed, gift-wrapped and sold to them as though it had great value….
No quarter is given in this riveting, insightful exploration of how lies, both sides, both subtle and outrageous, are packaged as truth….
In the end, “The Marketing of Evil” is an up-scale, modern-day look at what is traditionally known as “temptation” – the art & science making evil look good…
“Why do doctors do abortions?” asks Anthony Levantino, M.D. an ob-gyn who provided abortions for his patients in his Albany, New York office for eight years. “Why did I do abortions? If you are pro-choice, or, as a lot of people like to say, ‘morally neutral’ on the subject, and you happen to be a gynecologist, then it’s up to you to take the instruments in hand and actively perform abortions… I’VE HEARD IT MANY TIMES FROM OTHER OBSTRETRIANS: “WELL, I AM NOT REALLY PRO-ABORTION, I’M PRO-WOMAN.”
“The women’s groups in this country have done a very good job of selling that bill of goods to the population, that somehow destroying a life is being pro-women. I can tell you a lot of obstetricians believe it. I used to. …
Beverley McMillan, MD. founded the first abortion clinic in Mississippi and did a large volume of business. She makes the provocative observation that not only do many abortion clinics require payment in cash, but they also do not report that income to the government…. Why the IRS doesn’t go after these guys, I don’t understand.
The heart of the matter:
Ultrasound, the great awakening of Bernard Nathanson, is routinely employed today to check on the progress of developing babies. In an ironic and shadowy parallel, ultrasound is also used to aid in abortions.
Joseph Randall observed: “The nurses have to look at the ultrasound picture to gauge how far along the baby is for an abortion, because the larger the pregnancy, the more you get paid. It was very important for us to do that. But the turnover definitely got greater when we started using ultrasound. We lost two nurses – they couldn’t take the looking at it. Some of the staff left also.
What about the women having the abortion? Do they see the ultrasound?
“They are never allowed to look at the ultrasound because we knew that if they did so much as hear the heartbeat, they wouldn’t want to have the abortion,” said Randall….

Catholic Excuses - 7 - 25
Catholic Excuses – 7 – 25
cinops be gone Wednesday, August 20, 2008
We continue with David Carlin’s book, “Can a Catholic Be a Democrat?”
49. “At first glance, an excuse that appeals to the “separation of church and state” seems to be among the silliest rationales for a Catholic’s support of the secularized Democratic Party. This separation, so we’re told, is enshrined in the First Amendment to the Constitution, and it prohibits the intrusion of religion into the affairs of government.
Yet the First Amendment says nothing about keeping religion out of government; it’s concerned instead with keeping government out of religion. Its two religion “clauses” say (1) that there will be no “establishment of religion” and (2) that there will not interference with the “free exercise” of religion. That’s it: government must keep its hands off religion; nothing about religion keeping its hands off government.” 130 (THIS IS ONE OF THE BIG CATHOLIC EXCUSES)
I talked to a Catholic the other day and he repeats the line, a solid line between religion and government. We should not cross that line. Don’t you want cures from embryonic stem-cell research? We should support the government in this Endeavour. It is obvious that he is not grounded in his Catholic faith which only supports adult embryonic stem-cell research. GHK
Now here is something interesting from CINOP and pro-choice Bill Press in his book, “How the Republicans Stole Christmas.”
“In fact, tearing down the First Amendment’s historic wall of separation between church and state is the express aim of religious conservatives today, and they make no bones about it. After an October 2004 meeting with President Bush, Philadelphia’s Cardinal Justin Rigali issued a statement deploring “separation of church and state” as “A MISINTERPRETATION OF THE CONSTITUTION.” 38
In the Supreme Court’s 1985 Wallace v. Jaffree decision, which declared unconstitutional an Alabama law requiring that the school begin with a moment of “silent meditation or voluntary prayer,” then Associate Justice Rehnquist issued a blistering dissent: “The wall of separation between church and state is a metaphor based on bad history, a metaphor that has proved useless as a guide to judging. It should be frankly and explicitly abandoned.” 40
I recall being a substitute teacher in the Waltham, Mass. Public Elementary School System during the spring of 1962. I read short excerpts from the Bible to the children. This was a positive educational experience for them. It was not unconstitutional.
The L.A. Tidings issue, Dec. 9th, 05 p. 20, George Weigel hit the nail on the head.
The Framers’ intent to foster a robust religious life in America by preventing the Federal government from ‘establishing’ a denomination as the governmentally approved faith has now been turned inside out. Today, the first amendment is widely understood to require not simply government ‘neutrality’ between denominations, or between belief and unbelief, but government suspicion of, bordering on hostility to any public manifestation of religious conviction in the public square.

Jonah Goldberg’s book, Liberal Fascism is classic analysis of American politics. Here is a enlightening and tragic section on Abortion, p.270-2
“Margaret Sanger, whose American Birth Control League became PLANNED PARENTHOOD, was a founding mother of the birth control movement. She is today considered a liberal saint, a founder of modern feminism, and one of the leading lights of the progressive pantheon. Gloria Feldt of Planned Parenthood proclaims, “I stand by Margaret Sanger’s side,” leading “the organization that carries on Sanger’s legacy.”
Planned Parenthood’s first black president, Faye Wattleton – Ms. Magazine’s “Woman of the Year” in 1989 – said she was proud to be “walking in the footsteps of Margaret Sanger.” Planned Parenthood gives out annual Maggie Awards to individuals and organizations who advance Sanger’s cause. Recipients are a Who’s Who of liberal icons, from the novelist John Irving to the producers of NBC’s “West Wing.” What Singer’s liberal admirers are eager to downplay is that she was a thoroughgoing racist who subscribed completely to the views of E.A. Ross and other “raceologists.” Indeed, she made many of them seem tame.
Sanger was born into a poor family of eleven children in Corning, New York, in 1879. In 1902 she received her degree as a registered nurse. In 1911 she moved to New York City, where fell in with the transatlantic bohemian avant-garde of the burgeoning fascist movement. “Our living-room,” she wrote in her autobiography, “became a gathering place where liberals, anarchists, Socialist and I.W.W.’s could meet.” A member of the Women’s Committee of the New York Socialist Party, she participated in all the usual protests and demonstrations. In 1912 she started writing what amounted to a sex-advice for the New York Call, dubbed “What Every Girl Should Know.” The overriding theme of her columns was the importance contraception.
A disciple of the anarchist Emma Goldman – another eugenicist – Sanger became the nation’s first “birth control martyr” when she was arrested for handing out condoms in 1917. In order to escape a subsequent arrest for violating obscenity laws, she went to England, where she fell under the thrall of Havelock Ellis, a sex theorist and ardent advocate of forced sterilization. She also had an affair with H.G. Wells, the self-avowed champion of “liberal fascism.” Her marriage fell apart early and one her children – whom she admitted to neglecting – died of pneumonia at age four…. Admitting she was not a “fit person for love or home or children or anything which needs attention or consideration.”
Under the banner of “reproductive freedom,” Sanger subscribed to nearly all of the eugenic views discussed above. She sought to ban reproduction of the unfit and regulate reproduction for everybody else. She scoffed at the soft approach of the “positive” eugenicists, deriding it a mere “cradle competition” between the fit and unfit. “More children from the fit, less from the unfit – that is the chief issue of birth-control,” she frankly wrote in her 1922 book, The Pivot of Civilization. (The book featured an introduction by Wells, in which he proclaimed. “We want fewer and better children …. And we cannot make the social life and the world-peace we are determined to make, with the ill-bred, ill-trained swarms or inferior children that you inflict on us.” Two civilizations were at war: that of progress and that which sought a world “swamped by the indiscriminate torrent of progeny.” to be continued

Insights to Obama
Insights to Obama
cinops be gone Saturday, August 16, 2008
“Reagan’s universalism: …Freedom is not the sole prerogative of a chosen few; it is the universal right of all God’s children.” Reagan’s universalism was a mark of confidence in American values. In Obama’s rhetoric, by contrast, you hear a deeply romantic cosmopolitism. He says the world wont tolerate our eating to our hearts content and air-conditioning our homes as we please, and argues that we should stop caring whether immigrants learn English and instead make sure our kids learn Spanish. He has agonized like Prufrock (“Do I dare?”) over whether to wear a flag pin. *
“His presumptuous and quickly withdrawn mock presidential seal had no room for E pluribus Unum. He explained to San Francisco fat-cats that rural American bitterly “cling” to their bizarre rituals, unnecessary weapons, and ancient sky god, all because they’ve been left out of globalization. There are many problems with the worldview that these statements bring into focus. Let us concentrate on three.
“First, there’s what could be called Obama’s arrogant Manichaeism. “My rival in this race,” he said early in 2007, “is not other candidates. It’s cynicism.” Cynics are, naturally, those who disagree with Barack Obama. Again and again, he dismisses critics and criticism by castigating “divisiveness.” Then there’s his slogan “We are the ones we’ve been waiting for,” part of his persistent messianic rhetoric….
“Second, what about those walls? (When Obama talks of walls, he often sounds like he’s really talking about differences – differences between nations, peoples, religions, and their not-always- harmonious interests.) ,,,, Remember John Kerry’s “global test”? The over-arching principle of Democratic foreign policy seems to be that it’s better to be wrong in a group than to be right alone.
“Third, If we’re all citizens of the world, what is the point of being a citizen of anyplace else? He speaks not of America’s burdens, but of the burdens of global citizenship.
“Already Obama has made it clear that the his view of the Constitution is entirely open, and can be molded to whatever conception of justice fires the hearts and illuminates the minds of transnational progressives. He says he agrees “with Justice Breyer’s view that the Constitution – that it is not a static but rather a living document, and must be read in the context of an ever-changing world.”…
“Obama has also confessed that his foremost criterion for selecting judges will be that they have “the heart, the empathy, to recognize what it’s like to be poor or African-American or gay or disabled or old – and that’s the criteria by which I’m going to be selecting my judges.”…
* The above poignant analysis is from “National Review,” “Citizen of the World – The Obama Conceit” by Jonah Goldberg. (August 18, 2008) p. 20-21

10 Truths - 2- Christianity - Best
10 truths – 2 – Christianity – Best
Feast of the Assumption: cinops Friday, Aug. 15, 2008
We continue with Coral Ridge’s classic “10 Truths about Christians and Politics”
Christianity Makes the Foundation for Law and Politics: p 21-3
“Christianity brought a moral overhaul to the ancient world is most evident in the treatment before and after Christ of the “least of these,” little children. What we take for granted about cherishing the young was not always so.
In 1 B.C. a Roman traveler to Alexandria, Egypt sent a warm note home to his wife. It was a tender letter with one chilling exception:
‘I send you my warmest greetings. I want you to know that we are still in Alexandria. And please don’t worry if all the others come home, but I remain in Alexandria. I beg you and entreat you to take care of the child and, if I receive my pay soon, I will send it up to you. If you have the baby before I return, if it’s a boy, let it live; if it is a girl, expose it. You sent a message with Aphrodisias, “Don’t forget me.” How can I forget you? I beg you, then, not to worry.’
This blunt and matter of fact direction to discard a baby girl offers stark and troubling insight into the moral character of the ancient Roman world, where infanticide was common. 19th century Irish historian W.E.H. Lecky called infanticide “one of the deepest stains of the ancient civilization.” It was so much a part of Roman culture that the myth of the founding of Rome recounts the abandonment of two infants, Romulus and Remus. Thrown into the Tiber River in the 8th century B.C., they were said to have survived by being nursed by wolves.
Opposition to Infanticide:
“Not only the exposure of infants a very common practice, it was justified by law and advocated by philosophers,” including both Plato and Aristotle. The Roman tradition of paterfamilias gave the father total authority to decide the fate of his children – including whether a new born was to be exposed to die outside the cit walls, or allowed to live.”
Early Christians followed the example of Jesus, who loved and blessed the children, as recorded in Matthew 19:14. They firmly opposed abortion and infanticide. Two early church documents that were widely read, the Didache and the Epistle of Barnabas, both prohibited infanticide. Eventually, these Christian views became Roman law. Emperor Valentinian, who had been lobbied by Bishop Basil of Caesarea, outlawed infanticide in 374 A.D. and in 529, Emperor Justinian emancipated all “exposed” children who had been forced into slavery.
Slavery was widespread in the ancient world, but it was not opposed by church fathers with the same firmness as infanticide. Still, Paul made it clear that in Christ, “there is neither slave nor free … for you are all one in Christ Jesus” (Galatians 3:28). By the fourth century, legal reform to benefit slaves were adopted under the first Christian emperor, Constantine…. Constantine, for example, also ended the practice of branding criminals on the forehead because, he said, “The human countenance formed after the image of heavenly beauty, should not be defaced.
In the 6th century, Emperor Justinian reorganized the Roman legal code and essentially “enacted orthodox Christianity into law,” … Justinian’s Code “introduced into law a regard, hitherto unknown, for social justice, public morality, and humanity.”

The Battle for Marriage
The Battle for Marriage
cinops be gone Thursday, August 14, 2008
This battle is as real as any in wartime. The American culture of death advocates want to change the definition of marriage. What’s next, pornography and adultery? Proposition 8 – the California Constitutional Amendment that marriage is between a man and a woman is a do die ballot measure.
CatholicsforProtectMarriage.com. led by the Knights of Columbus, California Catholic Conference and Catholics for the Common Good has been established as the official Catholic grassroots effort dedicated to passing Proposition 8. All individuals and organizations are invited to join.
On the marriage issue in California, it is about 35% Yes and 35% No. It is the 30% of the population that you have to persuade. Ron Prentice, chairman of the ‘protectmarriage.com’ has four positive arguments.
1.) I DON’T WANT SCHOOLS TO TEACH ELEMENTARY SCHOOL CHILDREN THAT GAY MARRIAGE IS OK. THIS IS A PARENTAL DECISION.
2.) FOUR JUDGES SHOULD NOT BE CAPABLE TO CHANGE THE DEFINITION
OF MARRIAGE FOR ALL SOCIETY. IT WAS A 4 TO 3 DECISION ON THE
ON THE CALIFORNIA SUPREME COURT.
3.) CHILDREN NEED A MOM AND DAD. THIS COMMON ARGUMENT WILL
PERSUADE YOUNG VOTERS WHO HAVE EXPERIENCED DIVORCE.
4.) SAME-SEX MARRIAGE SHOULD BE A MATTER FOR VOTERS TO DECIDE
AND NOT BE IMPOSED BY THE COURTS.
Be not confrontational. It’s about our children and grandchildren.
IN HOLLAND, WHERE THERE IS LEGALIZED-SAME-SEX MARRIAGE FOR YEARS, REAL MARRIAGE HAS LOST ITS SPECIALNESS. THERE IS NO REAL COMMITMENT. THERE IS A HUGE OUT-OF-WEDLOCK BIRTH RATE. WHAT A TRAGEDY FOR THE CHILDREN!
Protect Marriage needs to raise a minimum of 22 million dollars. The opposition is vast and will outspend us 3 to 1. For more information on who the opposition is check out Google, ‘cinops be gone.’
What will it take to win? It is a battle of the spirit. The spirit of the world is on the side of same-sex marriage. God is on our side. America with legalized same-sex marriage is not America anymore! Your prayers will make the difference. But also your financial contributions and two hours of precinct work and telephoning will decide.

The Case against Loretta Sanchez - 2
The Case against Loretta Sanchez – 2
cinops be gone Monday, August 11, 2008
This is the second in a series of letters. Loretta’s financial supporters are a motley crew. They include NOW, NARAL, Planned Parenthood, ACLU, the gay-agenda advocates, and the porn industry. Do these organizations represent Anaheim, Garden Grove and Santa Ana in the Congress of the United States? Of course not! It’s time for a change.
These organizations represent the culture of death ideology as enunciated in Pope John Paul’s encyclical titled, “The Gospel of Life.” I return again to the two A’s, the two E’s, and the two SS. Abortion on demand, Assisted-Suicide, Euthanasia, Embryonic Stem-Cell research, and same-sex marriage. Is this who we are as a people in Orange County?
I do have a few words to say about the ACLU. Loretta is probably a member. The ACLU is the most dangerous anti-Christian organization in
America. Christians who are members have got to get their heads screwed on right. For example, the ACLU wants to do away with Christmas, the season that we celebrate the birthday of Jesus Christ. The ACLU reminds me of the Jacobin anarchists who did away with Sundays during the French Revolution and created a new calendar. One of the things that the ACLU learned from left-wing socialists is the talent to be masters of deceit.
Sadly, Catholic-label-fraud politicians are numerous throughout America, particular in California and Massachusetts. They are really stool pigeons for the culture of death ideology. Their minds are blinded. They vote the party line of the left-wing extremists who have taken over the once great Democratic Party.
Today’s news story (Sunday, August 10, 2008) from the “Orange County Register” is particularly revolting. On page 8 – “Gay Rights backers win war of words.” It looks like Catholic-label-fraud politician and attorney general Jerry Brown got his way to change the title of the Proposition 8 ballot measure. Please check blog - letter dated Thursday, May 31st, 2008, titled WAR DECLARED!
Henceforth with this letter, all Catholic-in-name-only politicians will be identified more accurately - CATHOLIC-LABEL-FRAUD POLITICIANS. They are the ones who legalized same-sex marriage in Canada a few years ago. Even Obama in his campaign for the presidency was looking for Catholic politicians to support him and he ended up with a slew of Catholic-label-fraud politicians and writers. Check blog letters dated June 17, 19, 21, 22, and 24. Obama Controversy.
Once you get reelected with the culture of death money, the Catholic-label-fraud politicians like Loretta Sanchez will be like a robot and vote the elitist party line. From the Scorecard of Catholics in Congress * Catholic Advocate A project of the Morley Institute for Church and Culture recorded these votes on Loretta and her sister Linda Sanchez. Both voted against the following:
Stem Cell Research Enhancement Act-passage (110th)
Marriage Amendment Act (109th)
The above was to prevent UNETHICAL stem cell research; and to protect marriage. Are you proud of your congresswoman voting like the above?

The Rules of Eng. -8- The Homosexual Relationship
The Rules of Engagement - 8 - The Homosexual Relationship
cinops be gone Sunday, August 10, 2008
I received this insightful e-mail on CA Supreme Court’s destructive decision.
“One: No civilization or culture in the history of humankind has ever given equal status to homosexual unions.
Two: There is no incontrovertible proof of a genetic disposition to homosexuality.
Three: Civil Rights are a subset of natural rights – protecting the freedom of people who have no choice about their gender or race.
Four: The radical activists have a visceral hatred for what they see as “heterosexual oppression” and their strategy is to destroy the traditional family and substitute it with government control.
Five: If you are a traditional family man or woman and late “come out” as gay or lesbian, the world celebrates your “discovery.” But woe to the gay man or lesbian woman who wants to change – any therapist encouraging such change is subject to professional sanction!
Six: Gay/Lesbian radicals must actively recruit through schools and the media in order to swell their ranks of adherents. They often talk of the fluidity of gender and contrast the “gender assigned at birth” with the chosen lifestyle of later years. Granting Civil Rights to current chosen behavior flies in the face of the universal principles that secure real liberty.
Seven: We are creating generations of confused, narcissistic, and self-destructive people. It one thing not to prosecute adult behavior – it is quite another to promote identities and lifestyles that ultimately destroy our future.
Eight: We must decide what actions were going to permit, prohibit and promote as a nation. Where do we draw the line? How young is too young for “marriage”? How many partners? The California “Supremes” have undermined the unique place of heterosexual monogamy – we now have no standard except the one we “feel” at the moment….
Here is Insight Nine: The deeper subversion behind the Supremes’ decision is the destruction of any religious foundations to morality and another blow to the Judeo-Christian consensus that it is the bedrock of law for 400 + yrs. in the West.
Throughout history, consenting adults have privately chosen to depart from social norms. When the exceptions become the rules, the collapse of civilization is inevitable.
Please note that I have not quoted religious documents or party platforms. There is no need - thoughtful people will see through the agendas and vote to amend the California Constitution in November. Get involved in making sure that the Constitution recognizes the inherent value of rightly-defined marriage – monogamous lifetime union between 1 man and 1 woman.” Yes on Proposition 8.

The Case against Loretta Sanchez - 1
cinops be gone Saturday, Aug. 9, 2008
This is the first in a series of letters. While directed towards Catholic voters it is for all the American electorate. I believe that even a non-partisan book or pamphlet can be written in opposition to Loretta Sanchez in the 47th Congressional District in Orange County. Other writers are free to access “cinops be gone.” There are dozen of letters on this blog relating to the topic.
The cities of Anaheim, Garden Grove and Santa Ana are right in the heart of conservative Orange County. They deserve better. By conservative I mean tradition, truth and wisdom, and natural law. Sanchez’s voting record in some areas is good but overall on fundamental values it is destructive and evil.
My standard for a Catholic lay person is that of Pope John Paul II and his American disciples, St. Louis Archbishops Raymond Burke and Denver’s Charles Chaput. One strives for a mind &heart that is straightforward, honest and truthful.
First of all, what is going to bring out a lot of voters in her district is Proposition 8 – the Marriage Amendment. We need from that district at least a 65% vote for marriage. This is to help us overcome San Francisco values majorities in other areas of California. This turn-out will help defeat Loretta and replace her with Rosie Avila. Loretta is against the Marriage Amendment. This is an insult to all voters including the many Latin American families in her district. Rosie Avila is right for America and in particular for the 47th Congressional District.
Let us try to recall how Sanchez got elected, five times. The first time it was through voter fraud. The other times it was through money, money, money and a good marketing campaign. I understand that she has won by the usual 45,000 votes with 37% turnout in the district. There are about 72,000 registered Republican voters. We focus on the 30% of all voters who are undecided.
One main reason for my opposition to Loretta is that she is a Catholic label politician. Do you remember the union label song? Imagine products being sold to you and labeled made by unionized workers and they are not. Loretta uses the Catholic label to get reelected. But she is a Catholic label fraud. Americans don’t like frauds. She is a fraud using the Catholic label to get reelected. IT’S TIME FOR A HEALTHY CHANGE.
UNTIL WE HAVE VOTED OUT OF OFFICE CATHOLIC-IN-NAME-ONLY POLITICIANS, WE CAN NEVER ACHIEVE THE NEW EVANGELIZATION OF POPE JOHN PAUL II. Reference from “cinops be gone” The Role of the Laity, Oct. 23/07
“The new evangelization that can make the 21st century springtime of the Gospel is a task for the entire people of God, but will depend in a decisive way on the lay faithful being fully aware of their baptismal vocation for bringing the good news of Jesus Christ to their culture and society… mission of the lay faithful… to give a glad and prompt response to the Holy Spirit and the voice of Christ….”
We are dealing with a Nancy Pelosi clone in Orange County. Loretta is not as bright as Nancy but decidedly destructive to our American values and tradition.
For Pelosi abortion is, “I have a sort of serenity about the issue.” This is diabolical
LORETTA SANCHEZ HAS VOTED FOR PARTIAL-BIRTH ABORTIONS 3 TIMES.
HER OPPONENT IS ROSIE AVILA. ROSIE IS FOR THE UNBORN AND MARRIAGE.

10 Truths -Christians & Politics - 1 - cont'd
10 Truths – Christians & Politics – l – cont’d
Feast of St. Dominic cinops be gone Friday, Aug. 8, 2008
We continue with Coral Ridge’s classic “Ten Truths about Christians and Politics.”
Government by Guillotine p. 16-19
It is a modern innovation and one, if you consult the French Revolution, that doesn’t work out so well. The short-lived French Revolution (1789-1799) was so thoroughgoing in its rejection of Christianity that it even established a new calendar without Sundays. During its infamous reign of terror, the streets of Paris flowed with blood and ten of thousands of people were guillotined.
As Ernest Renan, a nineteenth century French agnostic, stated:
“If Rationalism wishes to govern the world without regard to the religious needs of the soul, the experience of the French Revolution is there to teach us the consequences of such a blunder.”
And since Renan, Nazi, fascist, and communist regimes, of all of which rejected God and religious belief, have shown, again, that once religion is removed, a door opens into abyss. The death toll from Lenin, Stalin, Mao, and their fellow communist henchmen is nearly 100 million people, according to the Black Book of Communism. Here in America, the court-ordered departure from America’s Christian moral framework has already resulted in the death of more than 48 million people – all of them unborn.
State-Mandated Secularism
Despite this sobering testimony from history, American law and politics have over the past decades moved from this view, as stated by Barry Lynn, executive director of the Americans United for Separation of Church and State, that “In the United States, secularism is mandated for the government.” “Mandated” is an aptly chosen word since “we, the people,” have not have any say in the matter. “Many Americans,” as Richard John Neuhaus writes, “feel that they were not consulted by whoever decided that this is a secular society. And they resent that; they resent it very much.”
State-mandated secularism, imposed by the courts and enforced by the ACLU and its allies, is a leading flashpoint in America’s ongoing culture war between competing Christian and secular moral vision for the nation. One side looks to the Christian foundations of this country; the other provides no moral basis for American politics and government at all. It’s a pity that the quarrel exists at all since when you look at the record, not only is religion needed to found and sustain a state but, as we will see in the following chapter, Christianity makes the best foundation by far.

The Call to World Youth Day
The Call to World Youth Day
cinops be gone Thursday, Aug. 7, 2008
In a teaching session titled, “Called to live in the Spirit,” Archbishop Charles J. Chaput spoke eloquently to the World Youth Day participants. Let us listen to the gentle voice of the Holy Spirit in today’s ‘violent world, as reported by the Catholic News Agency.
“What do we thirst for more than anything else in the world? Life. We want as much life as we can get. We want a long life, a happy life, a healthy life…. So if the Holy Spirit is the giver of life, it means He’s the one that brings us to a full understanding and union with the real Jesus Christ – not with the ‘nice guy’ or interesting teacher that the world would prefer Jesus to be, the true Jesus Christ who is the only Son of the Father, the Savior of the world, and the source of all life and happiness for you, for me, and for all humanity.”
The archbishop went on to say that every day, all people – including the faithful, “drink in a river of bad ideas pushed by marketers who want your money, your approval and your conformity – and they make very sure they get it by using the radio, television, internet, popular songs and peer pressure to wrap you up in; like a spider getting ready for dinner. Today’s popular culture is based on a message that seems liberating, but it actually diminishes your humanity.”
The archbishop then spoke of the irony of when some young people criticize authority “claiming they want to be ‘free’ or that they want to ‘live their own life,’ but then dress exactly “the same way, listen to the same music, follow the same fashions and generally behave not like reformers, but like lemmings.”
“It’s the worst kind of slavery,” he continued, “when corporations and fashion designers and political opinion makers treat people like chumps. They trick a whole generation into doing what the world demands, while at the same time telling young people that they’re ‘free,’ ‘original,’ and even ‘revolutionary’.”
In contrast, “God acts in a completely different way. That’s why the Holy Spirit is shown as dove. He reveals to us the truth, helps us understand who Jesus really is, and calls us to a radically new life in Christ. But he never forces us to deceive us into doing anything we don’t willingly choose to do. That’s real freedom: when we choose, against our shortcomings and temptations from the world, to live the true life brought to us by Jesus Christ.”

Pope Benedict XVI, World Youth Day Welcoming Address, July 17, 2008, Sydney, Australia:
“The Task of Witness is not easy. There are many today who claim that God should be left on the sidelines, and that religion and faith, while fine for individuals, should either be excluded from the public forum altogether or included only in the pursuit of limited pragmatic goals. This secularist vision seeks to explain life and shape society with little or no reference to the Creator.
It presents itself as neutral, impartial and inclusive for everyone. But in reality, like every ideology, secularism imposes a world-view.”

The Morgentaler Affair - Part 3
The Morgentaler Affair – Part 3
cinops be gone Wednesday, Aug. 6, 2008
OK, let’s try to close this story and find out what happened with the above; via three news articles from LifeSiteNews.com July 22, 2008.
Massive New Poll: 56% of Canadian Oppose Morgentaler Order of Canada
“Whatever side of the abortion debate you are on, many Canadians from all walks of life felt this appointment went way too far and offended too many,” said Jim Hughes National President of CLC (Campaign Life Coalition). “The mass media coverage of the Morgentaler award has given us the largest abortion debate this country has ever seen in twenty years, and Canadians when they are forced to think about abortion realize it is horrible.” …
“Clearly the waves of offended Canadians speaking out have had an impact,” says Mary Ellen Douglas, National Organizer of CLC. “When a former Lieutenant Governor speaks out and returns hi ‘Snowflake’, disavowing himself from the Order, undoubtedly that is going to have an effect.”
Ottawa, July 23, 2008 (LifeSiteNews.com) The advisory council for the order of “Canada has been heavily criticized in recent weeks for its pro-abortion and far left bias, especially since the decision to award the ‘the centerpiece of Canada’s honours system” to Canada’s most notorious abortionist, Henry Morgentaler. Chief Justice of the Supreme Court, Beverley McLachlin, who heads the advisory council, is under severe criticism for having “brutishly” honoured Morgentaler by bulldozing the nomination through the advisory committee at the last minute.”
“Another member of the advisory council with connections to a major section of the anti-life movement is Yvan Guidon. the Director of the Bio-Organic Chemistry Laboratory at the Institute de Recherches Clinique de Montreal (IRCM), who is also a member of the directors of the Stem Cell Research – the government funded research body that led the efforts to allow the creation and use of human embryos for research.” …
“Joseph Quesnel, writing in the Winnipeg Sun, said this week that the advisory council of the Order of Canada reads like a “who’s who” of the Canadian left….
now that the “dust has settled” the focus of attention should be on the make-up of the Order’s advisory council, which, as an independent body, may be free of “government entanglements” but cannot be considered without bias.”
LifeSiteNews.com Tuesday, July 29m 2008
Last week, Campaign Life Coalition, the political arm of the pro-life movement in Canada released the results of a massive poll (over 13,000 respondents) which found that 56% of Canadians oppose the nomination of abortionist Henry Morgentaler to the Order of Canada. Despite the fact that the subject was still very much in the Canadian spotlight, the mainstream media in Canada gave no coverage to the poll whatsoever. … Painful experience has shown, however, that polls conducted even the most widely quoted pollsters will not receive coverage if they are pro-life.
In closing, the above is similar to the coverage of pro-life, pro-marriage and pro-family news by the media in the U.S.A. One day we will have equal coverage.

The Pope's Pauline Homily
The Pope’s Pauline Homily
cinops be gone Tuesday, August 5, 2008
From the Pope’s Homily At The Pauline Year Inauguration: July – 2008
“Endure with me suffering for the Gospel,” said the apostle to his disciple (St.Timothy). This sentence, which is at the end of the roads traveled by the apostle as a treatment, leads us back to the beginning of his mission. While, after his encounter with the Risen One, the blind Paul was in his room in Damascus, Ananias received the order to go where the feared persecutor was and lay his hands on him, so that he would recover his sight.
To Ananias’ objection that this Saul was a dangerous persecutor of Christians, this answer was given: “This man must take my name to the Gentiles, to kings and to the children of Israel. I will show him all he will have to suffer for my name.”
The task of proclamation and the call to suffering for Christ are inseparably together. The call to be teacher of the Gentiles is at the same time and intrinsically a call to suffering in communion with Christ, who has redeemed us through his passion. In a world in which lying is powerful, truth is paid for with suffering. He who wishes to avoid suffering, to keep it far from himself, will have pushed away life itself and its grandeur; he cannot be a servant of truth and thus a servant of faith. There is no love without suffering, without the suffering of denying ourselves, of the transformation and purification of the “I” for true freedom.
Wherever there is nothing worth suffering for, life itself also loses its value. The Eucharist – center for our Christian being – is based on the sacrifice of Jesus for us; it was born from the suffering of the love that found its culmination on the cross. We live from this love that gives itself. This gives us the courage and strength to suffer with Christ and for him, thus knowing that precisely in this way our life becomes great, mature, true.
In the light of all of St. Paul’s letters we see how on his journey as teacher of the Gentiles, the prophecy of Ananias was fulfilled at the hour of the calling” “I will show him all that he will have to suffer for my name.” His suffering makes him credible as teacher of truth, which does not seek its own benefit, its own glory or personal pleasure, but is committed to Him who loved us and gave himself up for all of us.
At this hour in which we thank the Lord for having called Paul, making him the light of the Gentiles and teacher of us all, we pray: Give us today the testimony of the Resurrection, touched by your love, and {make us} able to carry the light of the Gospel in our time. St. Paul, pray for us. Amen.

The Obama Madness
The Obama Madness
cinops be gone Sunday, August 3, 2008
I recall the fable of the “Pied Piper.” It is about this guy dressed in a clownish costume and cap on, and coming into this village with a flute. He played on and on. There was beautiful music from his flute. All the adults and in particular the children just enjoyed listening to him. The music was sweet sounding. People just loved and trusted him.
However, one day when the adults were at work and the children returned home from school Pied Piper played for the children. Before you knew it all the children were following him along the road away from the village and into the forest area and the children were never seen again. They either fell off a cliff or disappeared. That’s what I remember from this fable.
The Rasmussen poll that Barack beats McCain among black voters by 94 to l is unreal. Obama is a celebrity created by the news media. But there is no substance to Obama. We really do not know who he is. With a teleprompter and words provided he is a magnificent orator. Our African-American citizens need to get back to reality because he is not going to get elected.
Some sections of the sick biased news media are something like Pravda in Communist Russia and the Goebbels press in Nazi Germany. Thankfully, we have e-mail, talk radio and other sources of information across the nation.
Do you know that Barack is for abortion on demand and partial-birth abortion? Does it matter to you that he is also for same-sex marriage and wants to redefine the definition of 2000 year old marriage? It is like redefining adultery.
He is supported by NOW, NARAL and Planned Parenthood. All three of these organizations have done their best in killing off unborn black Americans. And if it were not for the prayers; and life counselors outside of America’s abortion chambers since 1973, there would be more dead black Americans than alive ones today. I don’t understand the duped leadership of black America.
I believe that Black Television plans to carry Barack’s speech to the Democratic convention live, but has no plans to carry McCain’s. Barack’s speech “is an historic occasion,” says BET Chairman Debra L. Lee, “so that demands some special treatment from us.” Get with it! We are all Americans. Let’s stop being hyphenated Americans for the Democratic Party.
McCain came out in favor of an Arizona civil rights initiative that would outlaw any state discrimination either for or against folks, based on race, gender or national origin. Barack said he was “disappointed” with McCain and favors affirmative action “when properly structure.”
The Arizona referendum banning preferential treatment base on race is also in the swing state of Colorado. It won in California in 1996, in Washington State in 2000 and in Michigan in the great Democratic sweep of 2006. It has never lost, and may just win McCain Colorado, and with it the nation.
About one-half of the excerpts in the above letter came from Patrick J. Buchanan’s article posted 8/1/2008, titled Whitey Need not Apply. (Human Events)

Random Thoughts - 1
Random Thoughts – 1
cinops be gone Saturday, August 2, 2008
1. Pray that Senator John McCain will choose Bobby Jindahl for his Vice-President. It will energize McCain's campaign and insure a landslide victory in November for life, marriage and traditional America. Pray! Pray! Pray!
2. There is an article in the June 2008 issue of Homiletic & Pastoral Review that deserves your attention and study. It is titled, “Compassionate truth for persons with a homosexual condition.” By Kathleen Curran Sweeney and reviewing a book, The Developing Mind, by Dr. Daniel Siegel.
When you hear the NOW (National Organization of Women) make public pronouncements: Do you believe that they speak for all American women? Of course not! They speak for their members who have a radical overall culture of death agenda. Many in the public arena believe that they speak for all women.
It is the same for the person with a homosexual condition. You must make a distinction between him and the radical gay agenda elite. For example, did you ever hear of a survey of homosexuals on whether they want to redefine marriage? No! The enemy is not the person with a homosexual condition, God bless him! The enemy is the ruthless advocates of the gay homosexual agenda. They care not for the homosexual inclined person. They want to keep him and exploit his condition as something permanent which it is not; and with lies overturn basic and traditional Judea-Christian American beliefs. These excerpts will persuade:
“A person is not defined solely by his sexual behavior. Persons with same-sex attraction have many other positive aspects to their lives – their abilities, interests, talents, contributions to society…. {From a Christian perspective, it is a cross which can be channeled in a positive manner and with abstinence into Sainthood.}
“The specific personal histories of those experiencing same-sex attractions vary and the causes can be complex….
“Extensive research has consistently shown that the homosexual condition does not appear to originate in a genetic factor or in hormonal imbalance, but rather may be derived from difficulties in parent-child relationship that occurs in early childhood….
"Since these psychological events happen very early in life, before the development of explicit memory in the child, the damage is at a deep level, and may not be overt or conscious, so that on the surface it may appear to the person that “I have always been this way.” Family relationships may seem fine. For this reason, it is important that, whenever possible an understanding of this condition and the need for and the possibility of healing be widely communicated so that whole family therapy may be initiated as early as possible. HOWEVER, ALERTNESS TO THIS NEED IS CURRENTLY BEING BLOCKED BY SCHOOLS, COUNSELORS AND PASTORS BECAUSE THEY HAVE BEEN TOLD THERE IS NOTHING ABOUT THIS CONDITION THAT NEEDS HEALING. Such a position is blind to the unhealthy and unsatisfying realities of the homosexual lifestyle. The superficial, supposed “happiness” of homosexual partners is hiding an underlying lack of wholeness. Here the study of the theology of the body developed by the Pope John Paul II can be helpful for understanding that sexual identity is at root of personhood, that every person is either a man or woman and is not psychologically whole until the develop the maleness or femaleness that is constitutive of their personality….
“There is a need to get past the pervasive propaganda of the gay-lesbian activists who try to block at every point the dissemination of the TRUTH about same-sex attraction and the possibility of healing. …
“Yet how can a condition be normal when statistics show it leads to early death; sexual addiction and promiscuity; inability to procreate normally; numerous health problems including STDs, cancer, hepatitis, HIV/Aids and other life-threatening diseases: drug and alcohol abuse; and a high risk of depression and suicide….p. 52-55

10 Truths - 1 - Foundation of Gov. & Politics
10 Truths – 1 - Foundation of Government & Politics
cinops be gone Friday, August 1, 2008
We continue with and only on Fridays with Coral Ridge’s classic 10 Truths about Christians and Politics.
1. Foundation of Government and Politics is Religion: continued
The importance of religion in providing the necessary foundation for any social order has been noted by acclaimed historians Will and Ariel Durant, who acknowledged in 1968 that “there is no significant example in history before our time of a society successfully maintaining moral life without the aid of religion.”
Every government needs a moral code to justify and legitimize its rule, and every lasting moral system must rest on religion – which answers the ultimate questions about man and God. Without religion to breathe life and meaning into any legal-political system, the options are either anarchy or tyranny.
Christianity and Western Pre-Eminence:
Some argue, as did the Durants, that in our time such a religious foundation is not longer necessary. But the truth is evident, even the elite social scientists in Communist China. The “pre-eminence of Western cultures and nations is due to the influence of Christianity.”
Former Time magazine reporter David Aikman tells in his book, Jesus in Bejing, how a Chinese researcher explained that he and his colleagues “studied everything we could from the historical, political, economic, and cultural perspective,” to understand, Western dominance. The researcher explained:
‘At first, we thought it was because you had more powerful guns than we had. Then we thought it was because you had the best political system. Next we focused on you economic system. But in the past twenty years, we have realized that the heart of your culture is your religion: Christianity. That is why the West has been so powerful. The Christian moral foundation of social and cultural life was what made possible the emergence of Capitalism and then the successful transition to democratic politics. We don’t have any doubt about this.’
What these Chinese scholars found to be true for the West was recognized very clearly by our nation’s founders. President John Adams, signer of both the Declaration of Independence and the U.S. Constitution, put it this way:
We have no government armed with power capable of contending with human passions unbridled by morality and religion. Avarice, ambition, revenge, or gallantry would break the strongest cords of our Constitution as a whale goes through a net. Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other.
Despite the record of history, the ACLU and its friends are adamant in their insistence that America is a secular nation. What Catholic priest and writer Richard John Neuhaus has called the “naked public square,” has become the ruling orthodoxy for contemporary American political thought. P. 14-16
In closing the presidential election of 2008 is America’s choice between Obama’s secular America and McCain’s traditional America.
