TEA PARTY PATRIOTS CALIFORNIA - 405/605
CONSERVATIVE PATRIOTS FOR FREEDOM AND LIBERTY – CPFL – March 14th, 2012

VISION: Influence legislation and impact election of representatives to ensure that conservative values are returned to American politics. These include adherence to the Constitution, minimal government, and capitalistic approach to a free market for business, and a foundation on Judeo-Christian values.

MISSION: Build a group of like minded activists working energetically to bring adherence to the Constitution, minimal government, and capitalistic approach to a free market for business, and a foundation on Judeo-Christian values.

VALUES: 1.) The United States of America is a republic. 2.) Freedom and respect for life are essential to civil society. 3.) Each individual relinquishes a bit of freedom to the cooperative structure, allowing for interpersonal order, and this should be held to a minimum. 4.) Each of us has a duty to the republic to be informed and involved participants in government. 5.) Capitalism and a free market are vital to human dignity, economic order, and human progress. 6.) The purpose of government is to provide social order while allowing everyone to live with maximum freedom and the pursuit of happiness. 7.) The federal government should be limited to interfacing with other world governments and not involved in state and local issues. 8.) Charity should be the responsibility of the individual, not the state. 9.) Judeo-Christian values should underlie the social perception of family, education and morals. 10.) Question with boldness, hold the truth, and speak without fear.

OBJECTIVES: 1.) Join in the opposition to the current healthcare, cap and trade, counterproductive stimulus bills, and any bills encouraging or funding abortion. 2.) Support fiscally sound bills and would reduce the size, scope and spending of government. 3.) Actively support conservative candidates for Federal and State elective offices. 4.) Seek out vulnerable liberal and /or progressive candidates in other districts and support their opponents. 5.) Be vocal and communicate with government officials our sentiments on legislation. 6.) Expand the group and use power of multiple votes to convince officials to understand the wisdom of our positions. 7.) Identify and support local (i.e., city and county) candidates who share our conservative views. 8.) Learn how to influence or even secure positions on the party committees and act to regain control of the party machinery. 9.) Reach out and convince those voters less committed to conservative ideals of merits or our cause and the failings and inconsistencies of the progressive ideas polluting the American political environment. 10.) Progressive income taxes & other wealth redistribution ideas need to be removed from our law.

THOUGHT: “Wherever politics tries to be redemptive, it is promising too much. Where it wishes to do the work of God, it becomes, not divine, but demonic.” Pope Benedict XVI, “Truth & Tolerance” p. 16
