1 - To Study the Catholic Vote in 2012

1- To Study the Catholic Vote in 2012
In pursuit of the truth - cinops be gone - Friday, Jan. 18, 2013

“The admonition. “Be nice to one another”, certainly not to be scorned, but it does not reach the height of the Gospel because it spares us the effort of setting out on the way to truth and so of really coming together.” Pope Benedict XVI, “ Co-Workers of the Truth,” Meditation, Jan .18th.

This is the first in a series of letters on this topic. It would included faithful Catholics, Catholics-in-name only, and almost 10% of the population who are ex-Catholics voters. I hope some historian or sociologist will come up with a book before the 2014 mid-term elections and turn over every rock in the process of pursuing the truth.

The topic is particularly disturbing and scandalous because it seems that so-called Catholics were crucial in electing President Barack Obama with 50% voting for him. What drives me up the wall is that only 20% of the Evangelicals voted for Obama. Does that mean that Evangelicals are at least twice as smart as Catholics when voting for this President? Both witnessed the destructive policies of President Obama for the past four years. Why are Catholics low information voters and afraid of the truth? Here are a few questions to keep in mind in the weeks ahead.

1) In what ways is the U.S. Catholic vote of 2012 similar to the European Catholic vote in Germany and Italy in the 1930s?

2) What role, if any, did the U.S.A. Jesuit Society play in the re-election of Obama in 2012?

3) Did the bishops fail in their role as shepherds in allowing the CINO politician, a promoter of abortion on demand and same-sex marriage to receive Holy Communion? This scandal cries out to heaven and blurs Catholic fundamental beliefs and identity?

The views expressed on this blog are not believed by a majority of Catholics. I went back to the first letter on this blog titled, CINOPS BE GONE, Dedicated to the Exposure and Removal of Catholic in name only Politicians. St. Thomas More is our Model and Patron. The first letter was, The American Catholic Voter # 1, Monday, May 14th, 2007. I have failed to persuade. Here is an example criticism of an old one (2003) and a new one, Down with Indoctrination, Jan. 14th, 2013.

1) Your propaganda piece to elect a Republican governor. 9/15/2003:

Dear Mr. Kubeck, “Obviously you thought Jesus was talking about someone else when he railed against hypocrites and Pharisees. Your thinly veiled at attempt to cloak your electioneering as an effort to save children is not acceptable when you and your accomplices have succeeded in installing someone in the White House who has no regard for human life least of all children.

“When you look at the pictures of little children with their hands blown off by cluster bombs because they thought they were toys, these were people Jesus was talking about. That 5th commandment you are so concerned about - all the children who have been killed in bombings were covered by it, as were the parents who were killed leaving children orphans.

“I pray for peace often every day and for all the children in this country as well as the rest of the world who live substandard lives because of the actions of people like you. You’re not pro life - you’re pro Republican and to use the Blessed Virgin to help in your tactics is evil. I stay in the Catholic Church and have for 80 years, not because of people like you, but in spite of you. And I trust God to see through your mean spirited actions and save the world in spite of all the people like you. And one final reminder, there are 9 other commandments you need to be concerned about.”

2) Response to Thomas Sowell’s article, Down with Indoctrination, cinops be gone, Mon. Jan. 14/13

Boy, now Sowell is sounding like just another paranoid, whiny victim - lots of complaints, no examples. When did the right-wing pundits become such crybaby loser victims? I remember when guys like Kemp and Buckley actually had ideas! Boo-hoo! The evil god-less liberals are picking on us, whine, whine, whine… No thank you. The liberals might be godless and stupid, but the whiny right is intellectually bankrupt too, and a bunch of whiny crybabies. A Pox on both their houses. Are you planning on moving to Glen Beck’s commune?

George H. Kubeck, Pursuing the truth is not very popular with low-information Catholic voters.
