PREFACE:
On this day, John Hancock, the Chairman of the Continental Congress, and the Secretary of the Congress both signed The Declaration of Independence of the United States, thereby making it legal. The only government document in world history that is a creedal statement of Bible - based ideals, it contains these phrases:
"We hold these truths to be self-evident, that men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain inalienable rights, that among these are life, liberty and pursuit of happiness..."
"Appealing to the Supreme Judge of the world for the rectitude of our intentions ..."
"With a firm reliance on the protection of Divine Providence..."

1. I have been listening to C-Span for more than a couple of hours this morning till 10 A.M. The Topic was, "Are you proud to be an American?" Almost everyone was proud to be an American.
We are more than a country, we are an idea: Commentaries on, "Are you proud to be an American?"
"Drop all reference to race... Our Constitution guarantees that we are free... I am from England ... and I supported Mr. Trump... absolute genius... I am proud to be an American.. . Trump will like to make America white again...I haven't been proud for decades... The Founders are not responsible for our failures... the Constitution talks about freedom..."
"Who willfully put on blinders and refuse to acknowledge what is going on in this country...This country was built by black people.... racism is not the only problem...
