THE A.C.L.U.
In pursuit of the truth – www.cinopsbegone.com – Monday, July 27, 2009

Bill O’Reilly called the ACLU the most dangerous organization in America. Let’s find out why. They have more than 500,000 members. President Obama has ACLU appointees in every branch of government.

“ADF” Alliance Defense Fund is a legal alliance defending the right to hear and speak the Truth. Here are extracts from their July letter: For how to support ADF see michaelmedved.com. Or phone 1-800-TELL-ADF or WWW.TELLADF.ORG

“For years, the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) and its allies were crying as seemingly lone voices in the darkness for “progressive” form of judicial activism that would elevate the laws and court decisions of other nations above our U.S. Constitution. And now those calls are on the verge of spreading through the court system.

“By the grace of God (John 15:5), the Alliance Defense Fund (ADF) is standing up to stop the ACLU from eroding the freedoms affirmed by the Constitution...”

The ACLU’s Role in the Foreign Law Movement:
For several years, the ACLU has been advocating for American courts to cite international law. The ACLU held a large conference in Atlanta a few years ago to whip up support for what it labels “the positive face of globalism.”

Normally, the ACLU plays fast and loose with the U.S. Constitution, urging judges to attach new “meanings” to it like the so-called “separation of church and state.” It is intent on eroding, undermining, and redefining the Constitution.

And in its call for international law, it was forthright about the low level of regard it holds for the Constitution stating: “It is clear that we can no longer count on the Constitution to protect fundamental freedoms in the United States.”

A traditional view of those who wrote the Constitution’s “fundamental freedoms” – which respect religious liberty, the sanctity of life, and marriage and family – doesn’t look anything like the ACLU’s version.

The ACLU’s “fundamental freedoms” are very radical, and that’s why it has to look to other countries to find support. That’s where it will find approval of its demands for same-sex “marriage”and adoption, for children to get abortions without the knowledge and consent of their parents, for euthanasia, for convicted child molesters to live secretly near children’s playgrounds and schools, as well as for restrictions on prayer, free speech, home schooling, and religious freedom in the public square...

The ACLU now has perhaps the greatest influence on an administration it’s ever had, and this has emboldened its call for foreign law. Harold Koh, newly appointed chief legal advisor to the U.S. Secretary of State, said:

Goodridge v. Dept. of Public Health – Citing the Court of Appeal for Ontario, Canada, 4 justices on the Mass. Supreme Judicial Court turned 400 years of American and colonial jurisprudence on its head by fabricating “same-sex” marriage….

Lawrence v. Texas – the High Court fabricated protections for homosexual sodomy, citing European Court of Human Rights & committee advising British Parliament.

George H. Kubeck, Why would anyone support a politician who is a member of the ACLU?
