There are thousands of organizations and individuals involved on both sides of this battle. It would be good idea to know who is on our side as we focus on these six absolute evils decaying and destroying our nation.

There exists this modern mindset of Partial-Birth/Infanticide-Abortion; Assisted-Suicide and Euthanasia; Embryonic Stem-Cell Research; Same-Sex Marriage; and the Gay-Homosexual Agenda.

All of the above are supported by lots of money and most secular elite in our country. 50 years ago, anyone supporting the above would be considered crazy and a fool. Things have changed. Today the elite believe it normal, OK. Sadly, the news media is corrupt and slants the news in support of the above.

Our best weapons are education via common sense, reason and the truth. I also believe in door to door activities and public information rallies.

I like yesterday’s excerpt from “The Best of the Bible – 365 Must-Read Bible Passages,” Tyndale House Publishers, Inc., Wheaton Illinois, 1996.

The spirit of the world is sick and screwed up. Today’s culture is like a swine flu! But wait! There is hope. Here are a couple of meditations from Cardinal Ratzinger’s “Co-Workers of the Truth.” Oct. 13, 14.

The Church believes that human language is capable of expressing truth and that the human experience is capable of recognizing and accepting truth… But where truth is lacking, every standard can be altered and one is fundamentally free to do the opposite – the rejection of truth is the real core of our problem…

Saint Augustine: Not without reason has been called the first modern man… He was born at the time, as a time of crisis and change, was all too like our own; … He became a Christian, not by birth, but by conversion… in order to be alone in the garden with his misery, his temptations, his inner conflict. In that moment of overwhelming agitation he thought he heard a child’s voice calling repeatedly to him: “Tolle et lege – Take and read!” He arose, found a Bible, and read these words: Put on the Lord Jesus!”

This week, let it be a summons to us: “Tolle et Lege!” – A summons to discover anew for ourselves the word of God as the light of our days and as the tree of life…

The problem is: I foresee a train wreck ahead for the nation and our Catholic faith. This train wreck is due to many Catholic-label politicians who directly and indirectly are promoting same-sex marriage and the Obama healthcare which will include abortion coverage and the loss of conscience rights for doctors and health care workers.

That is what happened in Canada. I have studied this matter for at least 15 years. With prayers at the abortion sites twice weekly during that time; and about 8oo letters on the CINOPS BE GONE blog, I wish I was wrong, but you can’t hide or ignore the truth.

I pray that we do not have Canadian-type bishops in the U.S.A. Irregardless; all U.S. bishops will be responsible for the train wreck unless they censure publicly the Catholic-in-name only politicians promoting the above agendas in the U.S. Congress.
