Cardinal S. O'Malley, Archbishops T. Dolan and C. Chaput

Cardinal S. O’Malley, Archbishops T. Dolan and C. Chaput
In pursuit of the truth – www.cinopsbegone.com – Saturday, September 24, 2011

1. Archbishop Timothy Dolan, president of the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops wrote in a September 20 letter to President Barack Obama. The Administration’s assault on DOMA will “precipitate a national conflict between Church and State of enormous proportions and to the detriment of both institutions…

Dolan especially objected to the Justice Department’s legal arguments that equate those in favor of DOMA to racists. It is “particularly upsetting,” he said, when the Administration attributes to those who support DOMA “a motivation rooted in prejudice and bias.

It is especially wrong and unfair to equate opposition to redefining marriage with either intentional or willfully racial discrimination, as your Administration insists on doing,” he said. He underscored the Church’s position recognizing “the immeasurable personal dignity and equal worth of all individuals, including those with same-sex attraction” and said “we reject all hatred and unjust treatment against any person.

“While all persons merit our full respect, no other relationships provide for the common good what marriage between husband and wife provides. The law should reflect that reality.” “Push the reset button on your Administration’s approach to DOMA.” [Article taken from www.calcatholic.com - Sept. 23, 2011]

2. Archbishop Charles Chaput, “If they don’t believe what the church teaches, they’re not really Catholic.” Chaput has been an outspoken proponent for pro-abortion politicians not receiving Communion. [The CINOP, if he has any integrity should on his own not receive Communion.]

3. Cardinal Sean O’Malley condemns efforts to legalize euthanasia in Massachusetts. Dignity 2012 is a pro-euthanasia group which seeks to legalize assisted-suicide in Mass. Addressing member of the legal profession, for whom a Mass is held every year, O’Malley called physician assisted suicide “ a corruption of the medical profession,” and pointed that it violated the Hippocratic Oath. [In like manner California’s SB.48 corrupts the teaching profession.]

P.S. What does all of the above mean? It’s crunch time! The charade by Catholic label politicians is over. It’s a message to Catholic American voters and to the CINOP throughout the nation whether you are registered Democratic, Republican or Independent. It is impossible to vote for a leader and this kind of political party with their national agenda. The Catholic vote in 2008 was 53% for Obama. The Catholic vote is a swing vote in Presidential elections and got Obama elected.

This will not happen again. We have an opportunity in 2012 to decisively defeat much of the culture of death agenda and their supporters. On our side we have common sense, reason and natural law, St. Thomas Aquinas, the Catechism of the Catholic Church, the Magisterium and the bishops. Catholic writers need to talk about the Catholic-label politicians. Censor the CINOP: End the fraud and the use of the Catholic-label.

CINOP definition: A Catholic politician or person who not only promotes publicly pro-abortion, (partial-birth abortion, infanticide), but also same-sex marriage, embryonic stem-cell research, euthanasia and assisted-suicide. All of these are absolutely and intrinsically evil. We can disagree and fight about the prudential issues.
