Dear Senator Fred Thompson
Thursday, Feb. 24, 2008
As one of your earliest financial supporters, I can understand why you have withdrawn from the presidential race. The conservative base particularly the pro-life movement thanks you for being in the race. We want your help for a Republican victory.
I am particularly grateful that you did not endorse Senator John McCain for the presidency. The senator is a maverick and a sour pill to the pro-life movement. Of all the candidates, as I look at the National Right to Life News, January 2008, you have maintained a consistent pro-life record since first endorsed for the U.S. Senate in 1994.
The country is looking forward to another pro-life presidency in 2008. You would have been able to duplicate the outstanding pro-life presidency of George W. Bush. The classic remarks of President Bush for the March for Life Rally in Washington, D.C. yesterday will be posted on my blog tomorrow. www.cinopsbegone.blogspot.com
We are now down to two candidates, governors Mitt Romney and Mike Huckabee. Both are winners and it is time for a change with new leadership in Washington, D.C. The fact that one is a Mormon and the other a Baptist will go well with the 55 to 65 % of Catholic voters. They are fed up with the religious bias of the Secular Media and Elite. The one reason that Gore got 53% of the Catholic vote in 2000 is because he had Senator Lieberman of the Jewish Faith as his Vice President.
Historically, we have never had a media and elite that is so biased and unfair. They have become mouthpieces for the Democratic Party. They are corrupt and will use any half-truth and lie to win for the Democratic presidency this year. Their party in the social arena promotes the two A’s, two E’s and two SS’s. And these are: abortion on demand, assisted-suicide, euthanasia, embryonic stem-cell research and same-sex marriage. They are for Pope John Paul II dire warning for the Culture of Death.
I am hoping for a Mitt Romney win in Florida. Florida is a pro-life state where on the ballot in November we will have the marriage amendment.
In closing, let me state that Senator McCain is a great patriot. The media and elite are promoting him to the hilt for various reasons. They can influence up to 10% of the vote in his favor and also with dishonest opinion polls. But we will not let these liars pick our Republican presidential candidate. George F. Will hit the nail on the head. John makes a maverick Republican, or a mainstream Democrat. Almost all pro-life activists will agree sadly with the poignant and accurate remarks of Senator Rick Santorum given to Hugh Hewitt. (On KLAC-870 Talk Radio Daily M-F- 3P.M -6P.M)
“On social conservative issues, you point to me one time John McCain ever took the floor of the United States Senate to talk about a social conservative issue,” Santorum said. “It never happened.” “I mean this is a guy who says he believes in these things.”
“But, I can tell you, inside the room, when we were in these meetings, there was nobody who fought harder not to have these votes before the United States Senate on some of the most important social conservative issues, whether it’s abortion or the like..
This is just not a guy I think in the end that washes with the mainstream of the R. Party.”
Respectfully yours,
George H. Kubeck. Duplicate and or translate into Spanish.
