Washington, D.C. -The March for Life- 2012 – Part 1
Proclaim the truth world-wide about abortion - Monday, January 23, 2012
EWTN Television: 8 A.M. Host Doug Heck and Father Joseph- The weather is rainy and cold.
Interviews prior to the March: Jim and John Pinto from Birmingham, Alabama.
“There are marches happening over the weekend throughout the country and the world. The Pontiff, “Born in this time to be witnesses to the gospel and it’s affecting others.” The pro-life movement is bigger, younger and more strategic than ever. We are a movement and we are growing. I can get out there and march. God is for the people. We do this family by family and block and block. Hopefully over 200,000 participants: In Birmingham, we had 7 abortion mills. Today it is only 2. Social communication is a highway to promote pro-life throughout the world. God is using EWTN TV.
From Heartbeat International: Peggy- Director: “Pregnancy centers are good for America. Women do choose life and we meet with Representative in Congress and share the list of services we have and we share with them.” One lady’s comment, “Get may life back in track. This what Heartbeat International did for me?” There are 4,000 Pregnancy Centers around the country. Heartbeat International is a resource center to these centers.
From Human Life International: President Father Shene Boquet “What happens here is a message to the rest of the world. Stand together to change the mandate of HHS: (Health and Human Services) the Cardinal is calling us to arms.
Dr. John at Divine Mercy Care on the HHS Mandate enunciated on Friday, January 20, 2012: “There bureaucrats telling us that we as Catholics need to compromise our conscience and faith. Our conscience is private. We should not be allowed to bring it into the public field. It is a direct frontal assault on our Catholic faith.
“All Catholics need to live our faith. How many in the pews opt out of their beliefs? It is an opportunity for us to share and catechize. It is a direct assault on Catholic Health Care. Abortion is not good medicine; and to provide it for free and that is good health.
“They tell us that medicine is about choice. We must honor the dignity of the human person. Hate the disease but love the patient. Medicine is an act of mercy transforming hearts. This is the theme throughout the day.”
George H. Kubeck
