The Pelosi Effect a.k.a Destructive Influence # 1
cinops be gone Wednesday, Oct. 1, 2008
The demagogue’s historic mantra is we are for the poor. This is a true story. We have two major political parties. Catholic-in-name-only politician Pelosi is House Speaker and leader for the D majority party. Congress’s favorable rating is 10%. The D party wanted to do some social engineering for the poor and black Americans to buy their own homes. In the past, they did some social engineering in the war on Poverty and moving children from one home area to another school area for social balance.
They came up with all types of loans. Here is the historic one: no down payment, no job and no assets. And the banks were required to give out this loan. It was understand that the Federal Government, you and I as taxpayers were to guarantee this loan. Today, in the Senate we will.
In the hearings the R party wanted to criticize this type of a loan. This is not the way we budget in our own homes. Two and two does not equal five. Hence, the D party was prepared to bring to the hearings all kinds of advocates for the poor and the minorities. The accusation was political: you are not being fair and compassionate to the poor. The R party hesitated and was cowed into silence.
The next story is personal and let the narrative be from the Family Research Council’s Washington Update, 5/18/2007, frcpublic@frc.org headline:
Pelosi Working to Stop Massachusetts Marriage Vote
“According to “The Boston Globe”, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D Ca.) is working with state Democratic leaders in Massachusetts to kill a constructional amendment there that will finally give the citizens of the state the opportunity to vote on same-sex marriage, which was imposed by the state’s high court in 2003.
Pelosi, a supporter of same-sex marriage, is apparently concerned about the impact a vote on the marriage amendment would have on the 2008 elections.
In the May 17 edition of “The Boston Globe” reporters suggest that Pelosi has burned up the phones in recent days, warning Massachusetts’ legislators that their local battle over marriage may decide the next White House occupant and fate of Democratic control in Congress. Doing her best to peel lawmakers off their pro-life stance before the vote on June 14, Pelosi has allegedly won a few converts….”
To shorten this tragic story, Pelosi succeeded and prevented the marriage amendment from being on the ballot in Massachusetts this Nov. 4th. But there is more; Pelosi succeeded with threats, blackmail, and buying off members of the legislature who happen to be also members of the Knights of Columbus. The monies came from the gay-homosexual lobby. Pelosi is a bad lady.
This is a very serious cross for all members of the Knight of Columbus in Orange County and in the country. It needs to be rectified because we have a clone of Pelosi right here in Orange County. She is Loretta Sanchez. With the marriage amendment on the California ballot she is beatable. Please volunteer for Rosie Avila, www.voteRosie.com Tel. Deborah Courtney, 714-508-5788 or 400.7170
