A Victorious Boycott of McDonald’s
cinops be gone Wednesday, Oct. 22, 2008 A.M.

How can we translate this great victory into one for Proposition 8 on the California ballot? Hope we can. Thank you American Family Association, and its Founder and Chairman, Donald E. Wildmon who began the boycott of McDonald’s in May, 2008. Let me review his two letters.
October, 2008 Message:
McDonald’s has become a major player in the drive to legalize homosexual marriage. It’s true and here are the sad details.
1. McDonald’s gave $20,000 to the National Gay and Lesbian Chamber of Commerce (NGLC) for a seat on its board of directors. NGLC is pressuring federal and state lawmakers to pass laws legalizing same-sex marriage.
2. McDonald’s spokesman Bill Whitman publicly implied that those who oppose same-sex marriage are motivated by hate.
3. McDonald’s sponsors training for homosexuals on how to promote their agenda inside the corporations for which they work.
4. McDonald’s help sponsor the vulgar and profane S.F. Gay Pride Parade.
5. McDonald’s paid to have this statement placed in an ad that ran in a homosexual booklet: “FROM NEIGHBORHOOD TO NEGHBORHOOD, COAST TO COAST & AROUND THE WORLD, McDONALD’S IS PROUD TO CELEBRATE DIVERSITY.”CODE FOR “DIVERSITY” IS A CODE-SPEAK FOR HOMOSEXUALITY.

Let me quickly add that this boycott in NOT about …
…. whether or not McDonald’s wants to hire homosexuals, or whether or not homosexuals want to eat at McDonald’s; or how McDonald’s treats its homosexual employees.
RATHER THIS BOYCOTT IS ALL ABOUT THE FACT THAT, AS A CORPORATION, McDONALD’S ADAMANTLY REFUSES TO REMAIN TO REMAIN NEUTRAL IN THE CULTURE WAR.

And worse, McDonald’s has chosen to put its full weight behind the promotion of the homosexual agenda … including so-called “same-sex marriage.”

The bottom line for us as Christians is simply this:
Since God calls us to be good stewards for the blessings He gives us, we dare not use His blessings to support a company that intentionally and publicly undermines His Word:

My plan is to employ the same strategy against McDonald’s that we used effectively against Ford Motor Company. That strategy was, as you may remember, to encourage Ford dealers to send our message up the line to the company’s corporate office.

October 9, 2008 Message:
AFA ENDS BOYCOTT: McDONALD’S AGREES TO CHANGES
Great news! Because of AFA supporters like you, McDonald’s has told AFA they will remain neutral in the culture war regarding homosexual marriage. AFA is ending the boycott…. The company has not plans to renew their membership in NGLCC when it expires in December.
Personal: I have no respect for any company’s corporate office that promotes the gay agenda. They need to be taught a lesson. Financial size and or bankruptcy to half the size of their competitors. So pull your money out of McDonald’s.
