Ex-Canadian explains the Dumbing-Down of Father John Jenkins

It would be a good idea for both sides in the Notre Dame Scandal to check out today’s Liturgy of the Hours- Office of Readings – Apostle Paul’s Letter to the Ephesians 4:1-16 and the Second Reading from the treatise Against Heresies by St. Irenaeus, bishop.

This is the fifth in a series of letters on the Notre Dame Scandal. My perspective is different but truthful and the truth hurts. I graduated from Loyola College in Montreal in 1952 and legally immigrated in 1958. By joining the army in Oct. 1958 for three years, I received my U.S.citizenship in early 1962.

I am disappointed with the Jesuit-run Colleges and Universities in the U.S.A. There is a pledge loyalty to the pope by the Jesuits. However, they have been a pain in neck to both Pope Paul II and Pope Benedict XVI. They have a destructive attitude and approach to our Catholic Church and our Catholic Faith. They think they are smarter than the Pope, the USCCB, and even the Catechism of the Catholic Church.

NOW IF THEY HAD THAT ATTITUDE DURING THE REFORMATION WE WOULD NOT HAVE THE ONE UNIVERSAL CATHOLIC CHURCH TODAY. There are several rotten apples among the Jesuits who hold key positions of power. Their attitude of DISSENT is one reason why we have so many Catholic-in-name only politicians and persons and why the second largest religious group in America are ex-Catholics.

Sadly, Father Jenkins has been dumbed-down by the Jesuits. With the Catholic vote of 54% going to Obama in 2008 Father Jenkins is surrounded by Catholic-in-name only persons and donators to organization like “Catholics United” and “Catholics in Alliance for the Common Good”. These so-called organizations are basically shills for the CINOP politicians and their candidate Obama. Liberal financier George Soros poured money into these Catholic groups that painted Obama as a favorable pro-life light. Soros succeeded in what money can buy. Donahue exposed the link. To understand the above better let me quote from an address delivered Monday, Feb. 23,2009 by Archbishop Charles Chaput of Denver, Colorado, at the University of Toronto, Canada. It was posted Toronto, Feb. 24th, 2009 (Zenith)

Three weeks before last November’s election, I (Charles) wrote the following words:

“I believe that Senator Obama, whatever his other talents, is the most committed ‘abortion-rights’ presidential candidate of either major party since Roe v. Wade … The party platform Senator Obama runs on this year is not only aggressively ‘pro-choice.’ It has also removed any suggestion that killing an unborn child might be a regrettable thing…

I ADDED THAT “TO SUGGEST – AS SOME CATHOLICS DO – THAT SENATOR OBAMA IS THIS YEAR’S ‘REAL’ PRO-LIFE CANDIDATE REQUIRES A PECULIAR KIND OF SELF-HYPNOSIS, OR MORAL CONFUSION, OR WORSE. To portray the 2008 Democratic Party presidential ticket as the preferred ‘pro-life’ option IS TO SUBVERT WHAT THE WORD PRO-LIFE MEANS.”

I like clarity. And there is a reason why. I think modern life, including life in the Church, suffers from a phony unwillingness to offend that poses as prudence and good manners, but too often turns out to be cowardice…. UNFORTUNATELY, WHEN IT COMES TO THE CURRENT ADMINISTRATION THAT WILL BE VERY HARD FOR CATHOLICS and here’s WHY. A SPIRIT OF ADULATION BORDERING ON SERVILITY ALREADY EXISTS AMONG SOME OF THE SAME DEMOCRATIC-FRIENDLY CATHOLIC WRITERS, scholars, editors and activists who once accused pro-lifers of being too cozy with Republicans.(This adulation is tragic. gk)
