Dear Reverend Father John Jenkins,
This is the third in a series of letters on the Notre Dame Scandal. This letter is different and applicable to all future letters and this time directed to Father John Jenkins, President of Notre Dame, and the above.
I call upon all immigrants who are today naturalized American citizens to speak out from their own knowledge and experience on the Notre Dame Scandal, the Catholic-in-name only politician scandal which cries out to heaven, and the Obama cultural and political agenda. Why? The above scandals will destroy our Catholic identity and our American identity and nation.

Cardinal George said, “… it is clear that Notre Dame didn’t understand what it means to be Catholic when it issued this invitation, and didn’t anticipate the kind of uproar….” On the other hand, Father John Jenkins, I believe it was deliberate by you and the council to cause this uproar and a challenge the bishops who are speaking out and identify those loyal to Pope Benedict XVI.

As an ex-Canadian let me tell you what happened in Canada:

Fr. Frank Pavone, “Humane Vitae (issued on July 25, 1968) means “Of human life.” Human life comes from God, belongs to God, and goes back to God. “You are not your own,” St. Paul declares. “You have been bought, and at a price” (1 Cor. 6:19-20)…. We suffer from the illusion that all of these activities belong to us. “This is my life, my body, my choice.”… Sexual; activity … belongs in the context of committed love (sealed by marriage) and openness to life.” THE ABOVE WAS REJECTED BY CANADIAN BISHOPS.

So we have a Canadian Catholic Church floating about kind of cut off from Rome. AS A RESULT, what happened in Canada? On abortion and same-sex marriage we have scandals that cry out to high heaven. And the fact that Canadian Catholic-in-name-only politicians sponsored and passed same-sex marriage laws in Canada is unbelievable. Nothing happened to them. THE SAME THING IS HAPPENING IN AMERICA!

THEY GOT AWAY WITH MURDER ETC. IT WAS NOT A CATHOLIC THING TO DO! Father Jenkins! AS A U.S. CITIZEN, I DONT WANT AN AMERICAN CATHOLIC CHURCH. WE ARE ONE AMERICAN ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH WITH POPE BENEDICT XVI.

Father Jenkins, It is obvious from your comments that the great Cardinal Newman Society which is dedicated to the renewal of Catholic Higher Education bugs you. Yet you heard what Pope Benedict XVI said last year about Catholic education; and you went ahead on your own and allowed the “Vagina Monologues” on campus. THAT WAS NOT A CATHOLIC THING TO DO. (To protect you, the organizers cancelled it for this year.)

Father Jenkins, I believe it is ridiculous for you to say, “On May 17th, we will welcome the ninth President who will receive an honorary degree from Notre Dame. It will be an important opportunity to bring the leader of our nation to Notre Dame, and I hope, a joyful day for our graduates and their families.” The line has been crossed and you and 6 of the 12 of your Academic Council Members ought to be replaced.
