THE LIES*YESTERDAY AND TODAY!

Letter No. 1
Reach down from heaven and save me; Draw me ought from the mighty waters, From the hands of alien foes, Whose mouths are filled with lies, Whose hands are raided in perjury. (Ps. 144)

This is the first in series on the awesome power of the Presidency, Liberalism and the Mainstream Press for good and evil in America. “America is great because America is good. When America ceases to be good, it will cease to be great.”

The acceptance of lies in the popular mind, in behavior and even in law itself, is a telling sign of an extremely dangerous crisis of the moral sense, “Woe to those who call evil good, who put darkness for light and light for darkness.” (Is. 5:29)

Dr. Larry Jones, founder of “Feed the Children,” warned us, “I don’t want us to become a nation, as Alexander Solzhenitsyn said of the Soviet Union, where the lie has become not just a moral category, but a pillar of the state.” Let it not be said historically what Vaclav Havel wrote about the communist Czech regime being thoroughly permeated with hypocrisy and lies. These were citizens, he wrote, who “lived with the lies.”

Today, Americans live with lies. In this decade the lie has become and anchor of this presidency [Clinton] and a pillar of the nation. What does this mean? In the moral sense, the country is blind, duped and selfish. It has broken relationship with the laws of the Almighty and we will pay a price. For we live in the arena of lies, like the Germans in Hitler’s Germany and the Russians in Stalin’s Russia. [This letter was published Dec. 2, 1999]

Letter No. 2
Dear Editor Lloyd Thomas,

This second letter is about the Trojan Horse of modern liberalism. Firstly, the struggle in America is between those who believe in God and His ten commandments and those who don’t.

Today we have a disordered liberalism, propped up by political correctness and judicial activism, hijacked by the Leftists with Marxist leanings and posing as a centrist in America. Add to this mix are the agendas like the ACLU and their religion of atheistic secular humanism.

The Supreme Court outlawed prayer in 1962, after we have had prayer in the public schools for over 170 years. In 1992, read the court’s decision in Planned Parenthood vs. Casey, “at the heart of liberty is the right to define one’s own concept of meaning, of the universe , and the mystery of human life.” This is hogwash.

The ideas of “every person has a different set of moral values that they live by. Nobody’s values are wrong, unfit or too strict. I define the parameters of my own morality.” Why not a Hitler or Stalin for President.”

Thirdly, we can come up with all kinds of poignant political observations. 1) The poster man and woman of liberalism in this decade is this Presidency. [Clinton] However, in “The Emperor Wore New Clothes,” the little girl blurted out, “He has nothing on.“ 2) The great Democratic Party needs to be cleansed of Clintonism (Lies, corruption and scandals). It is not too late for the leadership to remove this presidency. Otherwise it is not a political party representing the honest, law-abiding democratic registered voters.

Finally, the Achilles Heel of this false liberalism are the leaders and communications following in the footsteps of an Alexander Hamilton, Ronald Reagan and the Great John Paul II. Ronald Reagan’s favorite writer was Whittaker Chambers author of “The Witness.” He and Pope John Paul II brought down communism to its knees. [ This letter was published - Dec. 30, 1999]
