40 years ago, homosexual began “coming out of the closet” in large numbers, fighting for what they believed were their “rights.” Today, their cause has expanded beyond the advancing of their own rights --- to the curtailment of the rights of those who disagree with their lifestyle choices.

Many Christians have been intimidate into silence, because they don’t want to be characterized as bigoted or “intolerant” - exactly the goal of homosexual movement.

The Employment Non-Discrimination Act (ENDA) represents a huge victory for the homosexual movement: it codifies as a bigot someone who disagrees that homosexuality can be equated with race as a means of discrimination. *

Pastors in Canada have been banned for life from saying anything negative about homosexuality, or using certain Scriptures in certain contents. *

“Tolerance” and “acceptance” were once the stated goals of the homosexual movement; today they are categorized with “homophobia.” Heterosexuals are now obligated to celebrate, nurture, support, and appreciate homosexuality; tolerance is no longer enough - even acceptance isn’t enough.

The homosexual movement’s argument that sexual orientation is immutable has never been proven by science. Scientists have been unable to identify a “gay” gene.

“In homosexual literature there is no such thing as an ex-homosexual; but we can see in statistics and in experience that there are many thousands of people who have come out of the homosexual practice…

“Tolerance have been demanded by the homosexual movement for years, yet it does not offer tolerance in return for opposing views. The Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD) has demanded that CNN ban conservatives from voicing their viewpoint on the air because of how conservatives views “poison” the viewer! To tolerate the biblical position is regarded as the equivalent of tolerating the Klu Klux Klan or Nazism.

“Embrace of the homosexual movement has reached the highest levels of government. President Obama’s Attorney General has refused to enforce the Defense of Marriage Act - in violation of his constitutional oath - because as the A.G. says, sexual orientation is just like race, and the law is therefore discriminatory. The government has bought into the lie. *

The media today depicts homosexuals as much more prevalent in society than they really are - routinely wonderful, creative, fun, loyal and true. Meanwhile, Evangelical Christians are routinely depicted as bigoted, mean-spirited, money-hungry, dishonest, and hypocritical.

Catholic Charities in Massachusetts was denied an exemption for conscience which would have allowed them to decline to place children for adoption in same-sex households; the organization quit the adoption business rather than violate its conscience: a win for homosexual movement. *

It is now conceivable that our own government could eventually dictate what can and cannot be taught about homosexuality - not only in public schools, but in Christian schools and in home schooling situations - with the biblical position on homosexuality characterized as the equivalent of racism, bigotry, hatred, etc. *
