A majority of U.S. House voted to overturn abortion-until-birth policy in the nation’s capital, and prohibit abortion of pain-capable unborn children. It would replace the District of Columbia’s abortion-to-birth policy with a new law generally prohibiting abortion after 20-22weeks past fertilization.

The bill contains extensive congressional findings that by 20 weeks fetal age, if not earlier, the unborn child is capable of experiencing pain during the abortion. On July 31, 2012, the House voted 220 - 154 in favor of the bill -- 66 vote majority. Republicans split in favor of the bill 203-6, with two voting “present.” Democrats split against the bill 17-148.

CONGRESSWOMAN SANCHEZ COULD HAVE ONE OF THE 17 DEMOCRATS THAT VOTED FOR THE BILL (H.R. 3803) BUT SHE VOTED AGAINST THE BILL.

CONGRESSWOMAN SANCHEZ WAS A CO-SPONSOR THE “FOCA” BILL IN CONGRESS. H.R. 1964. SHE WAS JOINED BY OBAMA IN THE SENATE. THIS WAS ONE OF THE MOST SWEEPING PIECES OF PRO-ABORTION LEGISLATION EVER INTRODUCED IN CONGRESS, THE “FREEDOM OF CHOICE ACT.”

FOCA was designed to overturn federal and state partial-birth abortion bans, as well as hundreds of state and federal laws that protect unborn children and their mothers, such as abortion funding bans, parental consent and notification laws, and Women’s Right to Know laws. As pro-abortionists race to process mothers through the killing machinery. Obama would ensure there is not the slightest speed bump.

BUT WAIT, THE SIGNED BILL WOULD DEPRIVE OTHERS AND ME OF THE RIGHT TO PRAY AT AN ABORTION SITE WITH COUNSELORS AND DESIGNATE OUR ACTIVITY AS CRIMINAL. THIS IS UNBELIEVABLE AND DIABOLICAL.

With Obama’s election in 2008, this was going to be his first piece of legislation to be signed. Do you remember what happened? The U.S. Catholic bishops organized millions of protest post cards that were mailed to President Obama, don’t sign that bill! He did not!

Wouldn’t it be a good idea for the shepherds to inform the sheep in their parish with post cards of really who their Catholic-in-name-only politician IS AND has voted for these past several years on matters that are intrinsically evil? The Knights of Columbus can do it without any approval from anyone! Be not afraid!
